zachary , I'm not ignoring our "Timeline" discussion. I just think it should be discussed in a more appropriate thread, for that type of discussion. I am having fun with it, though and would like to continue it, in a more proper thread, than this one. I'd like to divert the conversation back to its original purpose via Whitelighters and healing (more specifically Chris healing, but I digress).
I actually learned something, today, with my religion, if you will. About how faith without works is a dead faith.
For example, you wear a ring to show your devotion, in a marriage. But, just because you wear a ring, doesn't mean you practice the sanctity of marriage. There's works that goes with it, too.
Where am I going with this? That Paige's works AND commitment to the Elders, go hand and hand. It's a part of the package, I feel like. 'Cause Leo heals other people besides Piper (so did Paige) and "love" is much bigger than just romantic relations. And, to understand that takes time, I feel like and something I think only the Elders can help teach.
If that's the case, wouldn't Paige have healed Henry regardless of what she read in the book? Knowing what a trigger is doesn't automatically create that momentum for you. She had to be in the moment of feeling Love in order to trigger her power anyways. One could say Piper mastered the ability the first time she used it. Even with a 3/4 year break, when Piper swapped powers with Leo again in S5, Paige comparability healed unhesitatingly in the few times we see her heal in S8. So again, I don't really think Leo's entry would further progress someone's skill-set with healing. It's very cut and dry.
