The last half of Season 1 is so beautifully written. From Fear to Eternity until the end. Even the weaker episodes like When Bad Warlocks Go Good are still really good character development episodes. It's just a shame the white lighters are introduced by this point with as many powers that they have. I didn't think much of it when I first watched Season 1, but I would have never have guessed that 'Wicca Envy' and 'Secrets and Guys' would have had that much impact on the rest of the series. I would have preferred Leo's wings being clipped by the end of Season 3 with Paige entering in Season 4 with TK Orbing and Healing powers. Then again, I would have preferred that Shannen Doherty stayed for a 4th and final season. As a Prue fan, of course, I'd want Shannen to stay. I truly love From Fear to Eternity onwards, because I just loved all the stories the sisters had, and the character development for not just Prue but the other two. When Bad Warlocks Go Good might be unpopular, but I actually liked the episode, and it is still watchable compared to many episodes in later seasons. I think when I re-watch S1, I can watch all the second half, and not skip any. Actually looking back, I think S1 might be the only season in the entire series where I actually think all the episodes are written well, and I don't have any that I hate and would skip. Even S2 has some in the second half, I don't like. Of course, I still do not skip any, just S1 had a very wonderfully written last half. If only Andy stayed, I think I felt Andy/Darryl never took any attention off the sisters. So S1 felt somewhat balanced with the sisters, the villain of the week and the small additions of Andy and Darryl with the non-magical world getting involved each episode. This changed starting S2, but more so S3 is where it hits the peak. |

Just coming off re-watching 'Secrets and Guys' with the board. What a great episode dear. So good. So underrated, should be higher. Re-watching it tonight, I loved this episode. |

My list:
-Something Wicca This Way Comes. Great pilot
-Dream Sorcerer. I love the dark atmosphere of this episode. Great villain
-The Fourth Sister. Exactly the same as Dream Sorcerer. I would have liked to see Aviva in future chapters.
-The Wendigo. Great story. I love Piper's transformation.
-Secrets and Guys. Exciting story and very important subplot for Leo.
-That '70s Episode. Very original and fun to watch.
-Out of Sight. Another well written story and some fearsome villains.
-Deja Vu All Over Again. Perfect climax for the season, great episode.
Honorable mention to 'Is there a Woogy in the house?' (my favorite episode as a child) and 'Ive Got you under my skin' (because of Piper's fear about being a witch). Season 1 is so good.

This one is so hard. But I'll try my best to pick eight episodes.
-From Fear to Eternity/That 70s Episode - both my all time favorites from S1. Everything to do with Patty and her death always speaks true to me and losing my mother when i was young too, so I always cry watching these two.
-Deja Vu All Over Again. Perfect finale, and I wished we didn't lose Andy.
- Is There a Woogy in the House. Love this episode, a great Phoebe episode. I especially love the ending writing in the book.
-Secrets and Guys. I loved Phoebe's reaction to Leo being a whitelighter, and loved Prue's story in this one too.
-The Witch is Back. Loved seeing Melinda and loved Matthew as a warlock.
-The Wendigo. I just loved Holly's acting, and Andy had a big part with Fallon. Fallon was a cool villain, and they cast her well, as I remember her from a show she did with Finola before Charmed.
-Dead Man Dating. Piper/Mark were great. Phoebe had the best story in this one though.

Just submitted my votes. Most are Rex and Hannah episodes, of course. I miss this user I most certainly don't. We lost a lot of great members due to him. He made this place toxic by calling members who disagreed with him stupid and worse words, when the others were just stating their opinions, where no one is right and no one is wrong. He also tried to take over the Cafe so he could ban anyone who disagreed with him. Those posts were deleted when he was permanently banned from the site. It's been a much more friendly, peaceful site ever since. |

My favorite is definitely Wicca Envy. I also liked From Fear to Eternity, The Witch is Back, Something Wicca This Way Comes, and Feats of Clay, with my second favorite probably being a tossup between Feats of Clay and Something Wicca This Way Comes. I really liked how Wicca Envy showed the sisters' relationships, particularly Prue and Piper's.

Looking forward to adding my choices when I finish the S1 re-watch.
But so far 'Dead Man Dating, 'The Witch is Back, 'From Fear to Eternity', 'Secrets and Guys' and 'Is There a Wooogy in the House' are on my list of eight. But I'm sure 'That 70's Episode' and 'Deja Vu All Over Again' will likely be on it too. So that's 7, so I'll figure out my last pick assuming it's not one yet to be watched later.
