I always felt of Phoebe died it would help the show stay consistent. Easier to explain. We still get the wall scene, put a double in the underworld and stage an attack that kills her.

So no messy Cole and Phoebe story or queen of the underworld and ask Phoebe becoming a celebrity.

Charmed is three sisters who happen to be witches, not witches who happen to be sisters

If a sister is going to die, I would've preferred it was Phoebe. She's beyond useless in future seasons and only serves for drama purposes, when I'm not interested in her drama. I'm here for the action!
