Which Big Bads on Charmed do you dislike the most and were quite overrated?
You get three choices this time. For those who cant pick one or two.

I picked my three.
And I'd like to submit a write in vote for the Rowe Coven.

Like I said before, I can't count Rex (Hannah never counts for anything, that horrible parody of a sexretary...if she was a Big Bad, I would vote for her and no one else), Rodriguez, the Triad or Belthazor (Season Three). They were all good bad guys, but since Rex, the Triad and Belthazor were working for the Source (or as I thought in Season One, Rex was working for Satan) and Rodriguez was working for Tempus, no way they can be counted as a Big Bad.
The Source should've been the best, but he was definitely the stupidest and least-scariest, so I'll take him. The rest, I'l have to think on.
Now if the S6-8 Charmed Ones had been choices, I would've chosen them.

Belthazor, the Source and Zankou are my three picks. The middle selection happens to get notoriety simply for being an integral part of the two seasons that are universally acclaimed as being the best in Charmed. Zankou was gone for much of Season 7 and when he did appear the end result of his schemes typically saw him getting knocked to the floor by the sisters or Leo. For all of his craftiness and scheming, he doesn't carry much presence or intimidation in the season itself. Belthazor didn't accomplish much of anything in spite of all his efforts.
When you really think about it the villain to have the most damaging impact on the sisters is Shax of all people.

Gideon, Christy and Dumain, God what awful villains these three were. Gideon wanted to kill a baby for the greater good (makes no sense), Christy was annoying and robotic and Dumain was just a pitiful pawn with almost no power and terrible hair. At least all the others actually selled the "big bad" act. These three were just pathetic.

For me the Triad, Christy and Dumain. Especially in S8, it was completely rubbish!! Can we delete this season? Just joking here.

Of the "major" Big Bads, the most overrated to me was the Source. Quite simply, I thought he was a moron.

I'd have to go with The Source too. From the way he was built up, to what he eventually turned out to be in "Charmed and Dangerous" + "Desperate Housewitches". Like ljones said; a moron.
Runner ups for me would probably be The Triad of season 8. In season 3 it wasn't such a problem for me since they themselves weren't the ones fighting.
Also possibly Barbas, but I don't know if that's overrated or just simply overused. I didn't like him coming back constantly, I think it just made a decent, threatening demon look like Wile E. Coyote. Plus he kinda stopped being The Demon of Fear for me, he just seemed very generic in later seasons.
I thought Dumain was really wimpy, but I can hardly call him overrated.

This is a joke, right? Rex and Hannah are worse than the Triad, Whiny Half-face Source, Gideon, the Avatars and Dumain!?
Have a fallen asleep and woken up in some strange parallel universe or something? Is Donald Trump now President of the United States in this weird new world I find myself in now?
Could someone please explain to me how, in the dead gods of Krypton, could you consider R&H worse than Dumain (or any of the others I mentioned above)??
Rex and Hannah finally win a poll and it's this!? They just cannot catch a break around here. Perhaps R&H are better at home among Lovecraft fans and Romanov devotes (where most of the people that like the R&H Chronicles can be found).

I too am rather surprised to see the original villainous duo take the top spot in this poll. There are several villains on that poll who deserve to be higher, Rex and Hannah actually came very close to taking The Charmed Ones down considering they had gotten them to relinquish their powers, in fact the only reason they didn't succeed was because Leo came in at the last second and somehow healed the book (never really got how he did that?)

Please remember, everyone has their own opinions and everyone's opinion should and must be respected. Not everyone agrees. That is the beauty of discussion forums. There are many topics here that people do not agree with. Just because someone loves a character/storyline/season, doesn't mean everyone will. And that's okay. Please be respectful of people's opinions.

You and me both, my friend, you and me both. The Avatars, whiny half-face Source and Dumain come to mind here. These clowns were far worse than R&H ever were. R&H had the sisters up against the wall. It was Leo's deus ex machina that saved the day, not anything the sisters did. Jackie, I'm not looking for trouble here. I'm just baffled as to how R&H could be considered the worst villians of Charmed? There are much better candidates for such an "honour", such as those I myself have cited. Although I see that someone has bumped Whiny Half-Face up to nine, tying him with R&H. Now, I'll just change one of my votes and bingo, Whiny Half-Face is now the worst villian

Yeah, sometimes you have to wonder about the Charmed fans and their opinion. I'd have expected it differently here, especially with S8 at choice. *sighs*

You took the words right out of my mouth, Jana. Of course, you know how I feel, because of all the Chris bashing that goes on here.
It sucks to see your favourite character(s) trashed like that.

We'ld remember that we are a tiny fraction of the thousands of Charmed fans, who love to see again the episodes and see no need to talk about it
I love Chris and I don't like Rex
I think Rex is overrated because he came up against the sisters when they were very naive, they didn't know a good use of spells and potions, they were very young witches It'ld be an easy win but he frittered his time away, maybe he liked to live the life of Riley with Hannah!

Since part of the question was "Which Big Bads on Charmed do you dislike the most?" and the rest is harder for me to define, I will go with my most hated Big Bad on Charmed. Barbas. I do not think he was all that overrated, since he actually was pretty good at what he did and kept causing a lot of damage, so that's probably not the correct answer, but it was part of the question. I just hate him.
For second and third place I choose two that I do think were overrated, The Triad (who were way to easy to defeat for what they supposedly were) and The Avatars (who couldn't make up their mind what they were and couldn't even predict the mess they were raining on themselves by trying to get first Cole and then Leo to join them).

And they can. DVD/Blue Ray, Netflix, Dailymotion has a whole wazoo of Charmed episodes, including the Rex and Hannah ones. They're all set.
I liked him too. I was a member of The Charmed Sons Spin-Off Campaign, after all.
Yet that didn't stop the sisters from defeating every other Warlock that came up against them up to that point.
Which is why Rex chose the method he did, blackmail. He knew that if he and Hannah attacked the sisters directly, they would have been defeated too. He pretty much tells the sisters that when they encounter him after they bust Prue out of jail.
Rex and Hannah did win.
The sisters needed a deus ex machina to bail them out. If Leo hadn't been there, their butts would have been grass, and Rex and Hannah were the lawnmowers.
Kern was so desperate for idea for S7 that he dusted the Avatars off. He just crossed off Cole/Phoebe and put in Piper/Leo. At least that's what Obscurus Lupa thought, and I agree with her on this.

I always thought the villains who attacked the sisters as women were the most successful ones. When it comes to magic, most demons knew they didn't stand a chance, the most powerful witches of all time. So the cleverer ones attacked them as actual people, getting to them through their work, their personal lives etc. Good examples are Rex and Hannah in Wicca Envy, Cole in Importance of Being Phoebe, The Seer in Womb Raider and Zankou. These were the villains that got closest to beating them. If it weren't for strokes of luck or get out of jail free cards they would have been doomed tbh.

Yep, that's it. The no brained idiots that just charged in, firing energy balls, were quickly dealt with.
Those that attacked through more conventional means, such as the examples you cited above, came the closest to being successful.
