You make a strong case Es. One can count it as its own spin-off series. Yeah I don't know why they picked SF as a location. I mean they barely even explored the culture. You take out all the stock footage of SF, and you might as well just make it a different city. LOL!! SC you hit gold, the writer's truly were the Elders, and I wouldn't even go as far as to call them Elders. They were the devil under Elders clothing. HAHA No, I wouldn't put it on the writers - they just had to write what they were told to write. They're more like whitelighters. The Elders would be The WB and Brad Kern. And they were just like the Elders in S6 And S7 - more demonic than the demons. HAHA Your post gave me a chuckle. Yeah, this could have been anywhere USA. Why they set it there could be because it is a most beautiful city with an amazing history kicking off in about 1850. It also is a bit free-wheeling and accepting of just about anything. Remember the time when someone from the medieval period is running around the city dressed in chain-mail, and Piper says no one will notice ... this is San Francisco? Well some of the things I witnessed there still have me laughing. I know Es doesn't think the writers were the Elders, and she does make a good point on who in the inner circle could have been ... I have to agree with her, but I am not so sure I would call them white-lighters. Possible both a mix of both white and dark, or perhaps lesser minions of the all powerful Kernster. I do love the common of them being devils under Elder clothing. I don't think any of the writers knew much about the history of SF, and they needed more research. Yes Es makes a good point, and I suppose all were guilty. But she has a point WB is to blame for the show's decline as much as Brad Kern and his writers were. Thanks, glad you like my comments SC.

I was really relieved when Andy knew the secret and I was honestly so sad when he died. I felt like maaaaybe he might have started as a better darryl just because he already knew the family and coming in and being apart of it all wouldnt have been as much of a stretch (not that it was too huge of one for darryl) but I loved Darryl in the end, he was such a good friend even when he was trying not to be.

It's too bad Andy didn't stay on dear, as I *wished* happened. But your right, he did know them very well and grew up with them that he would be a great ally. Even if Prue still died, he could be a great voice of reason to keep the sisters on track.

Asking them, "what do you think Prue would do?" or things like that

I *so* would have loved this, and the sisters should have even gone in several situations what would Prue do in this situation, that is what Piper should have been asking herself on many occasions.

By the time Season 6-8 comes along, Prue is barely mentioned. I think in S8 she isn't even mentioned at all until the last episode, only because they *had* to mention her. *sigh*

Even the anniversary of her death seemed too important not to show on-screen. *Sigh*

I would've liked for him to have found out sooner, so there would be more episodes where he and the sisters worked together.

OFC, I long for Andy to be an ally to the sisters in future seasons, but it's unfortunate, that we never did. Even if he has to die, I would love for him to have become a Whitelighter. Andy did nothing but serve and protect the greater good, there's no reason for him to not be a Whitelighter, but I digress. Andy will always have a special place, in my heart.
