If you could promote one love of the sisters love interests to a multiple season regular (ala Cole), who would it be?
Personally I'd pick Dan who I've always had a huge soft spot for. Also, on a superficial level he's the most attractive male to feature in the series in my opinion. I always feel so bad for him when Piper messes him about with the whole Leo saga, and he was given plenty of reason to feel insecure about her feelings while they were dating. I think they killed his character in the end, and if they weren't planning on keeping him around he should have been written out of the show sooner.

I like Mark a lot, he and Piper were perfect for each other tbh. Both loved cooking and they seemed to have an instant connection. Just a shame he was dead! It would have been great to add some diversity in the cast. And they could have incorporated Asian mythology into the show, not going to lie, I kind of wish Piper had ended up with him over Leo.

This is tricky, because I don't know what would happen to my favorite character if he was promoted to a multiple season regular. If everything else went more or less the same way it did, I think it would have been awesome to have Andy around through at least season four (so that he could mourn Prue rather than the other way around). This probably would have made a huge difference to Darryl's story line, since Andy was his partner. Prue and Andy weren't dating at the time of his death, but had he stayed, chances are they probably would have been dating, again, by the end of season two and dated through season three. Es pointed out that it is possible that if Andy had stuck around, Leo might not have, but I'm going to assume that the behind the scenes stuff that kept Leo around, probably would still have happened, so we might have had both Prue and Piper getting married (by choice and not that Zile story) in season three. We might not have. As high school sweethearts back together, Prue and Andy might have accelerated things once he decided that he could accept life with a witch (and if he had stayed, I think he would have in time) or they might have taken things a lot slower since the whole witch thing might have still been an issue and he did have a divorce in his past. It's possible that instead of married in season three, they might have gotten engaged and been engaged, possibly even in the season three finale were she ultimately died. Andy sticking around after Prue's death would have made sense seeing as he was a childhood friend of Piper and Phoebe as well. It would have been interesting to see how he dealt with the entrance of Paige and I wonder if he would have noticed the situation with Phoebe and Cole or if grief would have clouded his perception. I am satisfied with the season I got of Andy (and if you knew my real introduction to Charmed, the fact that he's my favorite character is probably a miracle since I knew before I ever saw him that he was going to be there only the one season), but I would have loved to see more of him. And I would have loved to have seen how he would have been involved in later events if he was still alive when they happened. Well, they could have had it so that when he moved on, that instead of going to "the beyond" (as the comics call it), that instead he was given the offer of becoming a whitelighter or something similar. We didn't have any mythology on whitelighters at that point, so why couldn't he have come back, maybe even in the guise of Leo the handyman (we'd seen Leo for all of ten seconds at that point, so maybe Mark could have pretended to be the handyman they had already met and then instead of Phoebe seeing Leo floating as he was changing the lightbulb, she could have seen Mark and demanded to know not only what he was doing floating, but also what he was doing there at all. Then, in "Love Hurts" he'd have seen Mark, not Leo, because then Piper would have found out (which would have made for an interesting confrontation, since he would have been dating her in a disguise on top of not telling her that he was a whitelighter). Not sure how well that would have worked, but there are ways that they could have brought Mark back. It was the fourth episode. There was a lot of mythology that we didn't have the slightest clue about yet.

I don't know if Dan would have accepted Piper as a witch. He was a really good guy, but I don't think he could deal with all that, even if he had time to get used to it.
And as much as I would want Andy and Prue to be together (and neither to die early), I don't know that they would have made for a very good long-time couple. Andy had to give up a lot to be with Prue. Between her witch things and his job, he'd never feel safe or able to relax. Being with her would turn his world upside down and keep it that way. Andy provided balance and normalcy to Prue's world, but Prue upended his. Maybe in the long term they could have worked things out, but it would probably be hard.
It would have been nice to get to know Mark better. He seemed like a really genuine person. He and season 1 Piper fit together very well.
And I know this person wouldn't have worked out well if he were around much longer, but I absolutely love Jack. He was totally wrong for Prue in a long-term sense, but I loved his sense of humor. He and Prue's scenes together always make me laugh:
Jack: How's my favorite auctionette? Prue: How's my favorite auction-ass?

If you could promote one love of the sisters love interests to a multiple season regular (ala Cole), who would it be? Oh! Great topic! I don't know if Dan would have accepted Piper as a witch. He was a really good guy, but I don't think he could deal with all that, even if he had time to get used to it. Oh, I think he would’ve if she actually loved him rather than was just using him to get over Leo and try to have a normal life and told him the family secret right off the bat. I like to think that if they’d used Paige and Henry’s story in Season Two for Piper and Dan (especially if – as I’d prefer it – Leo never came back after Season One), it would’ve been perfect since Dan could use his skills to help her with the club (besides contribute to the family financially) and give Piper the normal home life that she wants so badly so we wouldn’t have to listen to her whine the rest of the way. It also means that her children would only be witches. If Piper had to marry a dead guy, I wish it would’ve been Mark. As you said, he would’ve been *so* perfect for her, even more than Leo or Dan, partially because they had such wonderful chemistry. And if they couldn’t have kids, even better – of the three/four of them, I think she would be happiest just running her business, especially if she sold P3 and bought her own restaurant instead – or better – started her own catering service. The same goes for Prue. I agree totally. For me, Andy was always just the boy next door – Prue’s first love – without any real chemistry between them – I see them more in love with the idea of being in love (like Piper with Leo or Phoebe with Cole) than actually loving them. I can see Prue and Andy working together and eventually dating and even sleeping together, but I can see Andy marrying someone else and Prue going through that, especially if they had a child, much more than I can see Prue and Andy married - unless, of course, if Andy became a whitelighter and I can see him doing that in Season Two (with Leo not showing up) much more than understanding why Kyle became one. It’s just like Piper and Leo. I can’t see Piper being happy with Leo as long as he had his wings; I can’t see Leo truly happy unless he had them. (Remember that I think ‘Forever Crap’, I mean ‘Forever Piper’, I mean ‘Forever Charmed’ is just Piper’s delusion as she dies at the end of ‘Kill Billie, Vol. 2”, the perfect ending of the alternate-universe spin-off “The Perils of Poor, Poor Pitiful Piper” but not of “Charmed”.) In the same way, I can’t see Andy happy as a cop coming home to Prue’s life as a witch, and I can’t see Prue happy if she gave up her witchcraft and found an innocent who she couldn’t save… Jack was like Dan – the perfect rebound guy while she got over losing Andy, the way Piper tried to lose Leo. Like you, Jack made me laugh, but he was an overgrown boy. Prue needed a man. Amen. In the same way, had Prue lasted beyond Season Three, I would’ve liked her to get to know Mitch better – the reincarnation of Micah in “All Halliwell’s Eve”. Or if she could’ve lasted the entire series (as I would’ve preferred Phoebe gone over her so as a ghost, Phoebe could remain my Phoebs and never have to really grow up), I would’ve loved to have seen Prue continue to have contact with the guy who for me is the sexiest guy on Charmed, bar none – Bane Jessup! And if in the flash-forward we see him getting out of jail and those two declaring their love for each other – oh, yeah! For me, that would be Prue’s perfect love story, much more than with Andy or Jack or Mitch. As for Phoebe, just like Piper couldn’t accept Leo the angel, Phoebe couldn’t accept Cole as a demon and I think Cole liked being a powerless human even less than Leo liked being Piper’s little errand boy. All of her other fantasy guys – Coop definitely included – were just her version of Dan and Jack. I would’ve preferred if Drake had lived into Season Eight, perhaps actually dying in the Season Premiere, but with Phoebe pregnant so we wouldn’t have to watch her go through the horrible baby-search or watch the Elders give her a cupid because they were sorry they messed up her lovelife. Give me a break! Phoebe as a single mother, raising her daughter while working on her column sounds perfect to me. As for Paige, as the youngest, I would’ve preferred her being the one who stayed unattached and who just concentrated on social work and her witchlighter work, and not actually getting married until the flashforward. Mainly because within this topic, the guy I liked best with her couldn’t be part of her life for more than one season, since she met him in Season 8 – Henry. Although I’ll always think the one she *should’ve* been matched with would’ve been Leo… All just my own opinion, of course, but Prue with Bane, Piper with Mark, Phoebe with Drake and Paige EVENTUALLY with Henry would be perfect to me.

Definitely Andy, and if not him either Mark or Glen.

Glen and Mark were both men I could appreciate. While they were forced to accept the supernatural world in less than a gentle way, they seemed really alright with it existing and the girls place in it. Plus I never got them impression that Mark would let Piper turn him into a housepet and I liked the back and forth and old trust between Glen and Paige.

I would go with Prue and Andy. I admit that a number of episodes brought tears to my eyes, but when Andy died it took me a while to recover. The acting was first rate and so very real. I could see many strong story-lines for the two of them that would have been a positive move for all involved. These girls were faced with very difficult lives. Connecting with the natural world had to be very hard if not almost impossible. Given a little time, I would like to think that Andy could have worked through it. It is to me what amazing things you can deal with when the power of love binds you together. Now that's magic.

Now I admit to being a huge Piper/Leo fan - but Mark was my favorite love interest second after Leo for Piper. But I cant help but think Andy should of stayed on and got more development with Prue after learning the secret. Now perhaps Andy could of died at the end of the second season - but then we have him and Prue dying a season apart. But keeping Andy around beyond Prue's death, would of actually added more to the mourning of Prue in season 4 and he was an ally and friend of Piper and Phoebe so he would not be so out of place.

Ooh I couldn't pick one person sorry as there's quite a few people I would have down as regular characters essentially. I'd definately choose Drake and have him on instead of Lesley. Then swap Coop season 8 for season 2 Cupid and have Paige meet Henry a lot earlier season 5 perhaps when she quits social working but rethinks it and goes back again after meeting him and seeing how helpful Henry is with his parolees who in turn tells Paige how good she is social working.

Andy and Prue for me. Even when they weren't dating or involved, they always have had a deep bond between them that transcends even romantic relationship. They were definitely soul mates; I wish it could have lasted longer.

He was a childhood friend of all three sisters, and his *purpose* on the show I liked. Even if he and Prue were not dating, I still feel he offered something. I really do wish he had stuck around longer. Even if Prue had died dears, I do feel he could have still played the role Darryl did, if not better because he had a personal connection to them since childhood.

And that's one of the things I liked about him. He made sense even when he wasn't dating Prue. His connection to them went back to when they were little kids and he had their backs. Not that I didn't love Darryl, but sometimes I think Darryl could have used more of a backbone. I would have loved to see both Andy and Darryl be the sister's connection to the force. It would have been interesting to see how having Andy still around as his partner would have changed the course of Darryl's story on the show.

I don't know how Prue and Andy's relationship would have turned out if he had remained alive. As for Andy providing balance and normalcy to Prue's world . . . please remember that he was a cop.
He did in late Season Six. And a lot of fans hated him for it.
