It has been forever since I read my Charmed novels.
The last one I read was The War on Witches. I was very impressed with it. Wonderfully written chemistry between the sisters and the plot was interesting.

I voted for The War on Witches. I thought both of Paul Ruditis' ebooks were really good. The War on Witches was what I like to think a Charmed movie could have been. I look forward to buying them in paperback.

I look forward to buying them in paperback. It was perfect. I read so many books and Fan Fictions but this one by Paul Ruditis' was so good. I like his writing style. They need to hire him for the reboot. But I hope he does more books. Did they end them and the comics because of the reboot.

I think Zenescope ended them because they weren't selling well enough and then Dynamite's run just came to an end. There was meant to be a manga released later this year, but I don't know what's happening with that now. Definitely a great read West, it'll be out in paperback sometime soon so it must have done well.

I heard about the Manga. Too bad. I wished they produced more new novels. Maybe even ones set in an Alternate Universe where Prue didn't die or new novels set in the earlier seasons.

Did anyone read Mirror Image, Hurricane Hex or Mystic Knoll? I can't remember if I had, but curious? Two of those two are holiday themed with the sisters on vacation. I know the novels did plenty of these. They were fun.

I managed to find Charmed books in a Thrift shop the other day, and managed to get a bargain and got a collection of 12 books for 30 bucks. Was very happy to find them. Among the ones I found was: The Power of Three The Crimson Spell Whispers From the Past Soul of the Bride The Legacy of Merlin Dark Vengeance Mirror Image Truth and Consequences Hurricane Hex The Warren Witches The Queen's Curse Something Wiccan This Way Comes Has anyone read any of these books, and have any must-reads first for recommendations, as wondering which one I should read first.

That's a good find Julian. Glad you were able to get them.
Thrift or charity shops as we call them in the UK do have some good finds when you see them obviously.

WOW, Julian! You got a quite a collection here! Although I don't often recommend anything in the Charmed wiki (since they think their opinions are facts, when they're not - like thinking Morality Bites Melinda and Forever Crap Melinda are the same person when Morality Bites Melinda is the same age as Wyatt. They also think the comics are canon, when they're not since not every fan got to read them.) I'll admit they did a great job with the novels. Hopefully this page: charmed.fandom.com/wiki/Charmed_(novels) will help you figure out which one you want to read first. Different fans will like different ones better since it depends upon who your favorite characters in which season are.

I'm so happy to have this collection, as I've been wanting to find these for years, and I'm more thrilled I found these at a Thrift shop than relying on Ebay or Amazon. I might just come back to this place, and see if I get lucky with other books. Yeah, I often found myself questioning so much at that Wiki with what they say. Appreciated, I'm going to check out the Wiki and see if I can decide which novel to start with. Can't wait.

Quick update, thanks to the Charmed Wiki which does a good job with details on the novels.
I'm currently reading my first novel, Soul of the Bride. I'm really loving it so far, such a good story, and It just makes me wish we got this story than Oh My Goddess. I love how they have to save innocents, and it all comes back to the camera Prue had. I read some of it yesterday too. Hoping to read a chapter a night every night, depending if I'm tired or not from work.

I had never read any books and decided to start. I am rewatching the series and decided to read them between episodes. I don't take into account the inconsistencies (dates, eye color etc.), I consider that the series was not better and I ignore it, telling myself that it is a mistake. I read "Kiss of Darkness" after "Feats of clay" which I loved, I felt like I was seeing a new episode. Weird that Phoebe likes to draw. Yet she does it quickly in "Which Prue is it Anyway" so... Then I read "Voodoo Moon" after "the power of two" I had a little more trouble with this one even if it is well noted. I love that the sisters go on vacation. Then finally "Haunted by Desire" after "she's a man baby a man" honestly I liked this book, I found Prue and Piper's feud very funny under the spell, I almost laughed. I regret that funny episodes like this never happened. The ghost story was average though.

There's quite a few I wish were made into episodes. The vacation stories are fun. I'll always wish the show had a bigger budget to allow them to do stories set outside of San Francisco where they go on vacation. Yeah the mistakes here and there are not that bad when you remember the show was just as bad. Something to keep in mind they're written while the show was airing so some of them contradict established lore the show introduced later. For instance they introduced some mythological creatures the show didn't bring in at the time of writing the books.

For information I read on Archive.org where you can borrow old books.
