So much fun you're in for. I really enjoy them. I also love that you're reading them in-between episodes. There's quite a few I wish were made into episodes. The vacation stories are fun. I'll always wish the show had a bigger budget to allow them to do stories set outside of San Francisco where they go on vacation. Yeah the mistakes here and there are not that bad when you remember the show was just as bad. Something to keep in mind they're written while the show was airing so some of them contradict established lore the show introduced later. For instance they introduced some mythological creatures the show didn't bring in at the time of writing the books. So agree! They should have made TV movies. For information I read on Archive.org where you can borrow old books. Agreed. They should've made TV movies. I believe Sabrina the Teenage Witch did a number with her on vacation in other countries. That sounds like a cool site. I'll check it out sometime.

I'm still reading! I read "The crimson Spell" after "That old black magic" and well I loved that book actually, I love that the sisters learn the spells from the book of shadows and use them it's really great. The story in general captivated me. Weird that Piper wants to take care of an orphan it would have been better in season 4 after meeting Tyler. Strange also the obsession of Prue for "her new friend" but why not. I like the reverse powers. "Whisper from the past" after "Mrs Hellfire" really an interesting book if only they could have adapted it. I love that Prue and Piper go demonic much like Piper and Phoebe in Season 3. I just find it unfortunate that Prudence is magically saved. And also his last name.. 🤣. "Merlin's Legacy" after "Reckless Abandon" overall I found the book quite good. A universe that the sisters did not know with good morals if the character was not sent back to his time. Just frustrated that there is no real fight.

Among my favorites I wish were made into an episode. I like it more than Bride and Gloom. LOL Legacy of Merlin was interesting. One of the rare times they go on vacations outside of America. Quite a lot of these novels you can tell would've made great episodes if they had a bigger budget.

So agree, I can't wait to read the next three. I read Legacy of Merlin earlier than expected since Prue is still working in Buckland. Of course Piper is thinking of Leo and not Dan but I preferred to think that Piper was not clear with these two men.

So I finally read : -"The Gypsy Enchantment" after "apocalypse not" I loved the circus, the gypsies. The combat on the astral plane was awesome. Even though Jenny wasn't popular, it was cool that she was there. -"Soul of the Bride" after the honeymoon's over, well I loved that book !!! I felt like I was discovering an episode. The book teaches us the mythology compared to the finale of season 5 which teaches us nothing. A lot happens in so few pages. -"Beware what you wish" after "sin Francisco" I didn't really like this book. The demon could have granted so many wishes to make a mess. A fight would have been nice. I really liked Phoebe's premonitions.
So books with Prue are over ☹️ and I watch her last episode right now. I'm sad. I wish there was a book between 3x22 and 4x01!

Yeah it's so upsetting. They have a Charmed Again adaption novel and by far my least liked book because it was a good excuse to show what happened between S3 and S4. I was disappointed in it. I don't mind adaptions because the first episode was really good with the extra material and insights into the mythology. I really found the mythology in Soul of the Bride fasnating. Much better take on Greek mythology. It had an interesting premise with real stakes.
