I think there were different faction among the Elders

Gideon supported Leo's marriage against other Elders opinions and following he might have repented, noting Wyatt's power

The Elders were no stranger to working with evil, as in the Tribunal or in the control of the Hollow and they had the bad habit to play with the sisters life, as they were their little soldiers

Why they didn't help when magic was esposed? Or when the sisters were in danger with Zankou?

When Chris came back and alerted the sisters and Leo about Wyatt's future, the Elders'ld help with some advices or their tricks, instead they did nothing, maybe waiting that Gideon saved the day

But it would have made way more sense if Phoebe's daughter came back from the future to save Wyatt. Not Chris.

And if they didn't want to show Alyssa Milano pregnant, they could have just skipped forward a couple of months or something. It would have made the Seasons 5 - 8 less Piper/Leo centric and it would have been... "How I met your father"... in Season 7... which again could have been a 50/50 storyline.

I loved the Mother-Daughter relationship in Charmed and it would have been nice seeing Phoebe bond with her daughter!

I do like the idea of Chris/Christina being Paige's son from the future too.

But then again, Holly Marie Combs did get pregnant and Paige didn't have a partner at the time of Chris's birth so I guess this why it made sense

What I don't understand is that when Chris was exposed as a Witch in Chris Crossed, shouldn't they have calculated Chris's age and figured out that he was being born around the same time?...The girls were smarter than this.

But "Chris" was introduced in Season Five and they didn't find out that Holly was pregnant until 'The Sword and the City' (she said at a convention that it was her favorite episode because she got to play with the sword and found out that she was pregnant), so Christina easily could've already been part of Charmed before Holly found out - Kern just wanted it to be all about brothers rather than sisters.

Had that happened, then they would've had to do the same thing they did when she was pregnant in Season Eight - hide her pregnancy. And had they not found out, "Chris" would've only been part of the first eight episodes, as was previously planned (Drew Fuller has said that's how long he was originally signed) and probably not have changed his storyline as much, making him seem like such a liar. Him sticking around for an entire year screwing up the life of everyone he met never made a lot of sense to me.

OR, for that matter, they could've still had Piper become pregnant - but perhaps having Melinda who could've been half-firefighter rather than half-whitelighter and perhaps a close friend of Paige's daughter Chris, who could've gone back into the past after Wyatt killed his sister... That's the storyline that could've become my favorite instead of one of my least-favorites.

I like Chris as Wyatt brother, I love the stories of brothers opposing each other, like the Atrids or the Plantagenet dynasty

The tie between cousins is weaker, a girl'ld be quickly identified as a daughter of one of the sisters, seeing the story of the Warren witches

Wyatt/Chris story was a very very good idea, I read it was wote before Holly' pregnancy

I'd agree - IF the brother vs. brother had been saved for a spin-off. Charmed was about women and Kern shanghaied it by making it about brothers. If they wanted to include a child from the future as part of Charmed and not the spin-off, she should've been female, and not Piper's, because that's part of what turned Charmed into "The Perils of Poor, Poor Pitiful Piper" STARRING HOLLY MARIE COMBS, BRIAN KRAUSE and DREW FULLER. Oh, yes, and also featuring Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan. The show was about three sisters, not just one and her husband and her sons, and, oh, yes, also her two sisters.

This is definitely a problem with the later half of the show, instead of being a show about three sisters who happen to be witches protecting the innocent, it turned into a show about whitelighters who demon hunt.

I didn't want to see two brothers literally taking up an ENTIRE season of storylines, I wanted to see the sisters do what they do best, helping the innocent. If I wanted to see two brothers demon hunt, I'd watch Supernatural.

I was also pleasantly surprised that a horror movie like Occulus had this brother/sister duo with great chemistry, interactions and dialogues, trying to defeat an evil mirror responsible for many deaths over the centuries including their parents.

For me I think Wyatt being the ultimate evil in the future was a bit too dark for him.

This is how I would have rewritten it.

It would have been better if Wyatt worked for a Source in the future more evil and powerful than him. Someone that corrupted him to evil and was using him to keep the charmed ones and his bothers/sisters and cousins in check.

The future Source would be phoebes Son that she thought had died but didn't. Not only does he have the sources powers from cole but also his mom/phoebes premonition making him virtually impossible to defeat in the future as he anticipates everything.

So Chris still comes back to the past to save Wyatt from corruption , but preferably with phoebes daughter ladybug. Both of them are the ones who have stood up the most to Wyatt and her brother the source in the future.

Wyatt in the future was turned by the source so easily because of an evil half created in him in his early childhood due to some trauma. And being blood relatives it made it so easy magically for the source to tap into that evil half and corrupt him. So that's what Chris and ladybug are trying to find out and eliminate in baby Wyatt. What created that trauma creating the power evil half. But ladybug also wants to ensure chris doesn't spill the beans to mom on her brother being the source and she also has a secret agenda to find out where her evil brother has been kept hidden all his childhood years in hopes to kill him and mom never finding out he still lived.

Chris poses as a whitelighter like before and ladybug as a young witch in college needing protection and guidance and she is able to get Leo to become her whitelighter. And she also convinces Leo to get the charmed ones to train her to be a witch so she can have access to the book and manor. Similar to Billie. But like how Billie was looking for her sister and getting into trouble, ladybug is looking for little evil brother and getting into all types of trouble and she won't tell her mom and aunts what she's looking for and who she really is.

Between her and chris and the fact that chris and ladybug seem to know so much about themselves, claiming they crossed paths in the past,and are best friends, will be so suspicious to the sisters. There is a weird close relationship between them going on. Also phoebe keeps seeing herself in ladybug but can't put her finger on it or get a premonition off her. Ladybug and Chris had used a future anti premonition spell that doesn't exist in the past. Something they had been using to prevent future Source from figuring out what they were planning.

And also ladybug has her dads heart throb orbing ability and the power of suggestion like cupids have but mixed with empathy. To suggest a thought and make you act on it. But she's still learning it. That's from her Cupid half and phoebes empathy side. Leo and the elders notice her Cupid like abilities and cannot figure out how she could have gotten those powers.

By the way, even if Phoebe calls her Ladybug, I think her name *should be* Billie. I remember the first time I heard that name - especially when I thought she was a brunette - I thought she was another visitor from the future - Phoebe's daughter named after Billy Applegate from 'Chick Flick'!

But I LOVE the idea of the Phoetus becoming the Source in the future and *him* being the one who turns Wyatt, with both Phoetus' half-sister and Wyatt's brother trying to save him. A *great* way to combine S6 and S8 and make *both* of them tolerable!

Friends was a sit com, it's more easy to manage a relationship big brother- baby sister
GOT has revolutionized any kind of relationship between characters, moreover, the bond between the two twins is incestuous

At the times of  Charmed it'ld win the clichè "older brother who protects, little sister who gets into trouble"
