Hey everyone, long time no see!
So, I’ve been going through a big astrological phase recently, and would like to try and apply it to the sisters. What do you think are their rising signs and moon signs? (moon signs describe a person’s emotional state of being, how they feel things, rising signs are supposed to be the "mask" we wear on daily basis, the first impressions we give).
Prue: Sun sign: Scorpio. Rising sign: Scorpio (she has the piercing look, she’s reserved and seems quite private and intense), or Capricorn. Moon sign: Virgo, Capricorn, or maybe Gemini. Despite being my favorite character, I have trouble figuring out what Prue really wants. I’d say she craves security and organisation, is a workaholic, responsible and pragmatic, all qualities that apply to both Virgo and Capricorn Mooners. Moon in Gemini need constant mental stimulation, and move on from one thing to the next, so I’m not really sure that describes Prue?
Piper: Sun sign: either Pisces or Gemini. Rising sign: Cancer, Virgo or Libra. Moon Sign: Taurus, Cancer, or Libra. Piper deeply cares about her family, cares a lot about food and the finer things in life, and wanting peace.
Phoebe: Sun sign: Scorpio. Rising sign: Gemini, Libra, Leo, Aries or Saggitarius. Moon Sign: Pisces. I’d throw in Scorpio, but Pisces seems to fit her better: she’s naive in love, very compassionate (at least in the first seasons), interested in magic (in the first seasons), laid-back, very romantic…
Paige: Sun sign: Leo. Rising sign: Aquarius, Aries, Leo or Saggitarius. Moon Sign: Aquarius, or Saggitarius. Paige always struck me as being very independent, very individualistic, very much attached to her freedom, and wanting to experience new things and help out other people…
What are your thoughts?

Second, very, very interesting observations. Thanks for sharing.
How's this? I'm a triple-Cancerian - sun, rising and moon! Not that I believe in that stuff, just like I don't believe in witches who can cast spells or have powers or other such stuff that we saw on Charmed, but the same friend who is really into reincarnation is really into astrology--the first time we met, she asked me if my birthday was either at the end of June or the beginning of July, and, of course, it's in the beginning of July--so for one of my birthdays many years ago, she had a fellow-New Ager do my chart and this is what he found.
He also used it to make some predictions - all very vague and none of them came close to coming true. Oh, well.

I've just looked up the sisters' charts on an actual site, and the Moon signs are actually quite different from what I imagined:
Prue would have an Aquarius Moon (which I think could actually fit her)
Piper, if born in March has an Aries Moon, in May, a Cancer Moon
Phoebe a Libra Moon
Paige a Pisces Moon....
I know Astrology isn't very accurate and can be a bit far-fetched at times, but I think it's fun to try and apply it to fictional characters... Plus, it can help make better sense of someone... |

I've always wished that the sisters' sun signs matched their personalities more than they did, but, of course, I'm sure when the authors came up with their birthdays, they weren't thinking about stuff like that, and to my knowledge they didn't use Connie's and her sisters' birthdays for the Charmed Ones. If you could choose, what signs do you think they should've been?
And you're right - my chart is very accurate - I've often been told that I'm too sensitive and too emotional. it's just the predictions that weren't.

I had no idea that a person could have two other astrological signs! Always thought just look up your zodiac sign from birthday and that's it, lol. Have to find out my signs first before I even begin trying to figure out the sisters.

This is very interesting stuff. I didn't know either you could have two other astrological signs. I didn't think the signs the sisters did have fitted them well, but not like the writers put much effort into it. When both Prue and Phoebe were the same star sign, and I think Paige and Piper may have been too.

This is very interesting stuff. I didn't know either you could have two other astrological signs. Everyone around me was clueless as well after I revealed this. I guess its because for the sun sign which is normally what we all know as looking up your birthday and finding your zodiac then reading your horoscope. But for the rising and moon signs, you need time and place of birth to figure out. Most people just take a guess to the timing, lol. Some birth certificates don't have time mentioned. While we have an idea of the timing details about Melinda Warren, Wyatt and Chris, but I don't recall about the sisters. Or Grams and Patty. Were they born at night? Evening? Morning? Also Chris was supposedly born when it was supposed to be dark but the sun was up due to Gideon messing up the balance so...what would be his other signs again? O.o |

I am rewatching and noticed that Pheobe says once "I'm a Scorpio and I don't want to be out stubborned by a Gemini." Gemini referring to Piper. Then While fighting a demon Prue says "Hi I'm a Scorpio!" So there's that.

I never felt their signs were right dears. I don't think the writers put much thought into it. Especially the inconsistencies with birth dates and ages throughout the series.
I remember a similar thread a while back last year. Someone tried to match them up better with their personalities. But I can't find the thread.

I would have the sisters be as follows:
Prue: Aries sun, Aquarius moon, Scorpio rising.
Piper: Cancer sun, Taurus moon, Libra rising.
Phoebe: Scorpio sun, Scorpio moon, Scorpio rising.
Paige: Virgo sun, Leo moon, Sagittarius rising.

I know they were mentioned a couple of times in the series. I think it was mentioned in Season Three when Piper is grieving over Leo being taken by the elders and Phoebe mentions their signs but to me Piper has never felt like an air sign? ( I think that’s what she was classes as. I could be wrong)
I’ve always envisioned Piper as an Earth Sign. She’s practical, can be negative, strong willed and Stubborn but loves her family fiercely and isn’t afraid to speak her mind.
In my humble and very amateur opinion I would class her as a Capricorn.
What do you guys think? And also what about the other sisters?

I think the other signs are playing on Piper's personality. Sun sign: Leo Moon sign: Sagittarius Risign sign: Unknown (need time) Personally, I am a scorpion but my other two signs are Gemini and these two signs prevail over the scorpion which nevertheless has a great place in my character. You should go in the other topic  |

I wonder if Prue and Phoebe both being a Scorpio is why they butted heads growing up. |

My thoughts. I'm a bit clueless about rising signs, though:
