This would have been the best time to have just revived the show with holly, Alyssa, rose, Shannon. Especially with how most of them have been front and center in the news lately It would if they were all getting along - but they aren't. I just want a single reunion TV movie with all four. You'd think they could get along long enough for just ONE TV movie for the fans.

I'd definitely rather no one mess with a reboot or revival or whatever. No one who would be in charge of such a thing would be doing it for any reason that would appeal to the true fans of the show. They see Charmed as a show about three women in little clothing, surrounded by hot men all the time, and the ability to cash in on current events surrounding some of the leads. They don't see it for the emotional appeal it held for the biggest fans, or for ideas of family portrayed through their bond as sisters. Charmed at its core was about sisterhood and the personal journeys of the girls, together and as individuals. Some bigshots in charge of a network aren't going to come close to doing it justice. Charmed is better off resting in peace and not brought back at all. Maybe it's for the best it stays in the late 90s and 00s. Let us true fans enjoy our show. I don't think they can do it justice. Because it has to appeal and be current to the events in todays society your right. CW isn't capable of doing it justice anyway. Maybe nobody can. Leave it alone. I hope it doesn't get picked up and they just give the Supernatural female lead spin off a order instead, if they want a female focused show on CW or something. I think Netflix could if it was a limited series with at least two of the originals. But not like this.

*deep breath* *inhale* *exhale* *repeat x infinity*
Like, listen. Gimme a feminist show about three sisters. COOL. But the "tearing down the patriarchy" just sounds wrong. Like, I'm okay with this, but the way it's worded it specifically to fuel fire. Capitalizing on the #MeeToo movement and Trump's presidency. And I think the way CW works, it'll do more harm than good. Don't forget some of the issues with Supergirl. It tended to overdo it (and I only watched 1.5 season). Don't preach to me. Don't make "fun" of what women face in reality.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT TITLE THE SHOW "CHARMED" SINCE IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CHARMED!
As usual, my biggest issue is the name, if they are still set on titling a show "Charmed." It's NOT. Go away.
*goes back to trying to meditate*

You'd think they could get along long enough for just ONE TV movie for the fans. That would be great and if only they could get along to do one movie. But sadly might not happen, since CBS owns the rights to Charmed now. Holly is worked up on twitter because Spelling/Paramount no longer own the rights to Charmed anymore since 2007 - CBS does. And for a revival with the original cast to happen they need CBS to agree and approve and they are only interested in a reboot. Might be why any ideas the actresses might have are being shut down. CBS seems more interested in rebooting. If they were still apart of the now ended Spelling/Paramount company they may have more say in a revival or movie. Just what I think could be the case. Only based off how much Holly mentioned them not owning the rights anymore. Why CBS wants a reboot made when the original is what got attention on Netflix as being popular in 2013 and what got this all started is beyond me.

I think Netflix could if it was a limited series with at least two of the originals. But not like this. Don't we wish! That is what the fans want not a reboot. Netflix does have a better track record of producing shows and I hear allows more freedom to the cast and writers, and brought back Gilmore Girls for 3 or 4 television movies. But if Netflix can't even properly label the original series under drama and not a comedy, that worries me. Unless that has something to do with marketing for the new reboot, still bad. Maybe Charmed is better off not coming back with the originals. I'd definitely rather no one mess with a reboot or revival or whatever. With how much they are trying to be disrespectful to the original series with now placing Charmed under comedy on Netflix it seems. They really are slapping fans in the face. The comics are not even being produced anymore or new novels as far as I know, and it is like they trying to erase any hope fans have new content these days based on the original series, not some reboot. It's really not working out in our favor.

Just saw something at a different site and it made me wonder.
Anyone else think The CW is doing this because they lost the "Jane the Virgin" reboot to Netflix? *sigh* Wish it had been Charmed that they had lost to Netflix - especially if it was Shannen and Alyssa's idea.
The same site also mentioned how very *UNfeminist" Charmed was, especially once Kern took over. Could this be another reason our actresses can't get along - is Holly sticking up for Kern and his way of doing the alternate universe spin-off of Charmed where Holly starred (aka known as S4-8)? I think we all agree that there's no way we'd want that man anywhere near anything new that has something to do with Charmed! Maybe Holly thinks otherwise...

Especially when it was made public how he treated the show and writers. But since Piper *was* the star of S5-8 with her family being a big focus. No surprises.

That wouldn't surprise me if The CW is doing this because they lost Sabrina to Netflix. Too bad It wasn't the other way around. Sabrina being a teen show would fit well on The CW as Riverdale's spin-off, and Charmed on Netflix, because the actresses are older now and would fit more with that audience on Netflix. The CW isn't that audience, and they target teens and early 20s. The original viewing audience is now older. As for Holly sticking up for Kern, that really might be why she and the other actresses can't get along, I'm sure they don't feel that way about Kern now. Feels like Shannen and Alyssa are the only two on any sort of speaking terms these days, I guess the two having many years of distance helped. I just wish all four can suck it up and get along for the sack of the fans for something.

Maybe the demon Andreas is behind it 😊

And today on Twitter @nightline, it is not making it any better with what Rose said about Alyssa.
“@rosemcgowan on former co-star Alyssa Milano's #MeToo work: 'She's a lie.' But Milano tells @abc News' Nightline, "I am and always have been completely supportive of Rose." Tonight on Nightline with @jujuchangabc”

With how much Rose speaks about her horrible time on the set of Charmed and can't get along with the cast, she will never step foot on a Charmed set again. I can see why we're getting a reboot nobody wants instead of a revival. So, all in all, it's a lose-lose situation. The pilot sounds awful and disconnected from the entire series, and (most of) the stars of the original show don't wanna do it ever again. Surprise, surprise.

Since it is just a pilot order, maybe it won't even go to series and we will not have to even worry at all. But I am preparing for disappointment.
