MAKING A PACT WITH THE DEMONESS OF WEALTH COMES WITH A PRICE — The Pedro family have lived a pretty great life, they have lots of properties, run a very successful real estate company and live in a very fancy mansion. But is it that perfect for the Pedro family or something too good to be true. 

When Piper is hired to cater for the Pedro family for an upcoming engagement party after Prudence put a good word in for her, who was also invited to attend the gathering for being one of the Pedro family's most loved doctors before she retired, she decides to bring Paige as her plus one, since Patience has to work late on a case and Phoebe is busy studying for important tests.

But soon strange things start to happen or just bad luck, that the engagement party is called off. But the following morning, Patience is called to the scene of a crime. And the Petro family begin to know that the time has come to pay up for the wealth they have received. The Petro family made a deal with someone 30 years ago when the family was struggling financially and then overnight things started to turn around for them.  

The Warren's soon discover that the Demoness of Wealth is behind this and that the deal the Petro family made will claim their souls. But they soon discover that the family might be able to break the pact if they truly let go of the wealth and greed and do something that benefits others and not themselves. But the Demoness of Wealth won't give up without a fight.

I keep thinking about the Wedding From Hell with that family choosing wealth over beauty. Of course, this plotline is so much different in many ways, and I like that you have a reason to include Piper and Prudence at the engagement gathering.

Just because we've gone over a few pages. I'm going to just re-post the most recent press releases that people may have missed, to catch-up. So we can all discuss any changes before we add them to our recap posts.

Comic-Con: 'Elemental Charmed' to End With Season 5


The news, announced Saturday at Comic-Con, comes after stars TBC and TBC previously signaled that the end of the series was in sight.

It's official: CBS-TV's 'Elemental Charmed' will end with its upcoming fifth season.

Producers made the announcement Saturday during the show's annual trek to San Diego Comic-Con, though the decision to wrap the series created by Connie Burge — comes as little surprise.

Talk of ending the series has been a much talked about question among the writer's room for some time. Paul Ruditis told the press "we mapped out a four or five-year plan for the series after we got picked up for a second season and moved to CBS. But the only question on our minds was exactly how much story we had in us. We didn't want to keep on going when we dried up all the plots we could make." 

Stars TBC and TBC had signaled that the end of the drama was in sight. Both actors had previously indicated their plans to do one last season of the series, and indicated the idea of a possible half-season order for the fifth season is what got a couple of the stars of the show to sign beyond the original four-year-contract they all signed for when the series was first picked up to series back in 2018.

"We all have discussed it and we've made the decision that this is it," Burge told fans Saturday. "This is going to be the final season of 'Elemental Charmed'. It's bittersweet and emotional and we're all going to be crying in a minute. It's been a beautiful run.... Get ready, because it's going to be a very crazy and wild ride for these final episodes."

The final season also will be a shortened one, consisting of 12 episodes and bringing the series to a total of 100 episodes. The show returns Sunday, Septemer 11. at 8 p.m.

Production is expected to begin on Monday, August 8th, 2022. It's a little later than usual, due to the shorten order, they were able to be more flexible, and two of the show's stars were still off busy shooting some movies

“'Elemental Charmed' has meant so much to so many fans around the world and has meant so much to all of us at CBS,” network president of CBS-TV said in a release shortly after the news broke at Comic-Con. “I am a huge fan of the show myself, and I’ve seen every episode. The relationship and bond between these five stars have been such a blessing. So I am very happy that we can give Connie and her writers the chance to finish their story the way they have envisioned, and to give viewers a fantastic conclusion to five spectacular seasons.”

Saturday's Comic-Con panel ended with a sweet video tribute and Burge's final message to fans: "Thank you for joining us on the ride with these five amazing women, and I cannot wait to close the doors on the Elemental Witches for this final stretch of 12 episodes"

'Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano set to return for 'Elemental Charmed's final season'

Following the news, last weekend at Comic-Con that 'Elemental Charmed' was coming to an end with one more season. It is now officially confirmed that fans can expect to see Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano reprise their roles of Jenna and Mary Ann Warren in the final season for the last time, which starts production for the final season on Monday, August 8th, 2022.

It comes as no surprise since both actresses have previously made regular guest appearances on the series at least once every season. It was only a matter of signing them both and securing them at the same time. 

Connie Burge revealed "I wanted to announce this at Comic-Con last weekend, but the announcement of our show ending, we wanted to make sure that we were taking a second to reflect on our show's legacy and let that sink in and let our fans prepare for goodbye, before we went and revealed all the returning faces for the last season".

Shannen Doherty later spoke about her return and the shows ending in a recent press interview "I'm excited to come back one last time to 'Elemental Charmed', I've enjoyed being a part of this amazing series, and I'm so proud of the work Connie, the writers, and the cast have produced over the years. Me and Alyssa have enjoyed getting to play the parts of Mary Ann and Jenna. So I'm looking forward to my return."

Alyssa also made a comment in reference to the showing ending "I'm sad to see this show ending since I'm enjoyed popping in and out of the series for the few years, but I'm excited that me and Shannen will get a chance to be apart of the final year. 

Burge didn't reveal any hints about what role the two will play for the final time. But did let fans know it will be worth it.

Both Shannen and Alyssa will appear in the opening episode of Season 5 to kickstart the beginning of the final 12 episodes of 'Elemental Charmed' which will premiere on September 11th, 2022.

Season 2, Episode 4: 'Don't Go Alone Down the Trail of the Wailing Child'

CAMP EVIL! A POPULAR LEGEND THAT ISN'T WHAT IT SEEMS — Patience arrives at the scene of a crime where two children are found murdered deep in the woods near a local camp, the local campers believe the legend of the Blair Witch. But when Patience tells her family about it, Prudence and Paige laugh it off as nothing but a myth that turned made money in fiction films and books. But when Patience convinces her family that, people are being murdered at the same time, every year for the last 70 years, then does the laughter turn serious.

The Warren's soon investigate to prove if this legend is real or not. They eventually learn that the Blair Witch Legend isn't even a Witch or even a warlock at all, but really the spirit of a wailing child. This young boy has been haunting the local camp at the same time every year for the past 50 years.

Eventually, Patience's investigation takes her to a local cabin deep in the woods, where she crosses path with another suspicious female resident in the cabin, who vanishes when she enters. Prudence later as a premonition that reveals that the female in the cabin was the mother of the young boy, who drowned her child. Now the Warren's set out to rescue Patience, and get the young boy and mother reunited so they can cross over.

Season 3, Episode 3: 'The Neverending Loop of The Roaring Twenties!'

AN ANTIQUE CAMERA, A NEVERENDING LOOP AND A MYSTERY IN THE 20s — Phoebe's editor at a local Salem newspaper, that she is interning at for two weeks over the summer, offers her a challenge: if she comes up with a killer article and story within the completion of her two weeks, he'll put it on the cover and it will do wonders for her resume upon completing college in a few years.

Phoebe is so excited at the idea of being on the cover and decides to do an article on the history of Salem. She even begs her mother Patience to let her use one of her old antique camera's to capture the style of an old-time photo to go along with her article. Patience agrees to help her daughter, but when Phoebe snaps the shuttle on taking a photo in downtown Salem, Phoebe and Patience disappear literally into thin air, leaving behind the camera. Little do they know, that the camera has transported them to the 20s, in a neverending loop.

Elsewhere, as Piper gets ready to have the annual traditional family dinner at her restaurant that they do every Tuesday for the last year, Prudence and Paige get worried when Patience and Phoebe do not show up. The three Warrens, eventually find the camera, and when Prudence touches the camera, she gets a Premonition of the past, which shows Phoebe and Patience in the 20s.

The three head straight to the book of shadows for answers, and a way to rescue them and break the neverending loop, but can they do in the time before midnight, when the time loop resets...

THE POWER OF PERSUASION IS DEADLY ESPECIALLY IF ONE OF THE WARRENS GETS IN THE WAY OF THEIR AGENDA - While studying in the library for an upcoming test, Phoebe is taken by Dean a classmate of hers, who is also the son of one of Prudence's colleagues at her former job at the Hospital before she retired. The two bond and he asks her out on a date which she accepts. But that night, she finds Dean doesn't turn up for her date and instead is found having committed suicide outside the library building the next morning by her mother Patience. 

As Prudence tries to comfort her former work colleague over the death of her son, she soon has a premonition that reveals that Dean's death was no suicide, and someone else played a part in his death, possibly an ex-girlfriend.

The Warren's soon learn that one of Phoebe and Dean's classmates named Stacey has the ability of Persuasion, The power to control people with the power of one's voice. A power that she didn't even know she had until she accidentally told Dean to jump off the building. Now Stacey is using her nearly discovered powers to get revenge on all the people that hurt or upset her.

Piper is tasked with making a potion to bind Stacey's powers with the help of Prudence and Paige. But matters become worse when Stacey convinces one of the other Warren's to do an act that they have no control over, one very dangerous.

‘Charmed’ EPs & Stars On Staying True To The Original & What’s To Come In Season 1 – Comic Con

The cast and creatives of the CW’s Charmed reboot 'Elemental Charmed' took the stage on Day 1 of San Diego Comic-Con following a screening of the pilot episode. Present today were starring cast members TBC, TBC, TBC, TBC, TBC, and TBC along with producers Constance M. Burge, Sheryl J. Anderson, and Paul Ruditis.

This new version is set in Salem, MA and follows the sisters who, who discover that they, along with their grandmother, mother, and aunt, are a family of witches who discover that between protecting those innocent of the knowledge of magic from the denizens of evil magic while maintaining familial bonds, a witch’s work is never done.

“The original was so much about female empowerment and sisterhood and strong women taking over the world, and I feel like that’s what we needed right now,” said Burge about rebooting the 1998-2006 series.

The first episode wasted no time in tackling modern relevant issues and also expanding the concepts of different background experiences and ages, with each of the Warren's coming from different generations, while featuring a few nods to the WB Network original Classic Charmed series.

"We want things to feel very natural, without making a bold statement about the modern issues going on in the world today. We want our viewers to be able to check into our series, enter our fantasy world and be able to feel like all the troubles in the real world go away for an hour a week. Although we'll definitely tackle some modern issues, it just will be done without trying to preach our opinions onto viewers" Ruditis revealed about what they hope the viewers will take away from the series.

Burge assured that the series will stay true to its predecessor.

“I loved the original,” she said. “That’s why we wanted to do this. … It’s deeply rooted in the original but this series will be rooted in sisterhood, motherhood and family ties of women sticking together, juggling every-day life and also relying on each other to navigate the world we live in today.”

Expressing the same sentiments, TBC said, “It is very respectful of that, but what we wanted to do was allow viewers who watched the original series to be able to watch it with their own daughters and children now, and everyone can relate to one of these women at whatever stage of life they are in. It's a real family show rooted in fantasy.“

As to what’s in store for the Warren family, this season will focus on the bonds between these women and navigating mother-daughter, grandmother-grandchildren, niece-aunty and sister-sister relationships “Piper and Phoebe learning more control of their powers,” teased Burge. “The juggling of everyday problems and the latest warlock or supernatural attack” The villains have also been updated hinted Anderson. “We want these villains to feel fun and modern, and also to always come back to what these five women are doing in their everyday life at that moment in time,” she said. Like “a spirit known as the Soul Collector that is after your soul, connects back to one of Warren's job, and we're using the innocents to deal with typical everyday problems society faces all the time in life but doing it in a very natural way that doesn't feel forced.”

'Elemental Charmed' debuts October 14 on The CW.

‘Charmed’ Reboot 'Elemental Charmed' Hits New York Comic Con and also teases the tribute to Classic Charmed's 20 year anniversary special

EXCLUSIVE: Attendees at this year’s New York Comic Con are going to feel seriously Charmed with an early look at the series with of CW reboot from original creator Constance M. Burge.

The new version of the late 1990s supernatural sibling WB series is set to debut on October 14, but NYCC fans will get to see the first episode of the new Charmed a week beforehand, I’ve learned.

Already having previewed at San Diego Comic-Con in July, the Sheryl J. Anderson and Paul Ruditis penned opener that’s screening at the Hammerstein Ballroom on October 7 at 1:30 PM ET has some added significance at NYCC, at least in terms of timing. The preview coincides with the 20th anniversary of Charmed, which first hit the air on October 7, 1998. A panel with on-screen Warren family members TBC, TBC, TBC, TBC, TBC and TBC is scheduled too.

TBC who portrays Prudence Warren has said "Her first Comic-Con ever was really nervous. But I'm glad that I have the support of my cast members. I never dreamed that at my age, I'd be a star at these events." TBC who portrays the younger sister Phoebe Warren, was a little more star-struck being in the same room as other well-known names. "I've gone to these events as a fan, and now I'm being greeted by fans. It's so surreal"

Connie Burge has also teased that the upcoming tribute special to the Classic original series set to air on October 7th, is going to be very wonderful. "Me, Sheryl, Chris and Zack all sat down and contributed a little to it. But I'm so excited for fans to be able to see the real star power trio together who are the anchors for the hour-long tribute, and also for fans to see the episode in HD." 

"I've heard the remasters have come out very nicely. The best gift to give the fans before our new series starts soon after." Sheryl J. Anderson said feeling very impressed that everyone gets a chance to honor the original work that came before in true magical style. 

Also like SDCC, the core cast of the new Charmed will be on hand at the screening as well as an autograph session at the sprawling Javits Center later that last day of NYCC 2018 at 3 PM ET.

As well as Charmed, CBS is bringing several other heavy hitters to NYCC next month.

Since I know Halloween does occur on a Sunday when our fourth season would air, I just went by dates, and we HAVE to do a Halloween themed one for that day. So I put this one together.

THE HAUNTINGS OF THE JOSHUA WARD HOUSE - It is Halloween time in Salem, A festive celebration of Halloween occurs in town, which features a spring of Halloween-like experiences from Family Film Nights to ghost tours and haunted houses. But the Warren family will soon discover, that this Halloween is anything but just a normal day of celebrations but really a trap.

When the veil between worlds thin on Halloween, the spirits of both Sheriff George ‘The Strangler’ Corwin and Giles Cory return, coming back for revenge against witches. The former Joshua Ward House, now a hotel, has been transformed into a haunted house theme for the Halloween night. Sheriff George sets a trap that only witches would know about, and when traps all witches inside the hotel, determined to kill every last witch.

As the Warrens struggle to fight off the spirit of Sheriff Corwin, a third spirit, a female who had died on the property soon makes herself known. The spirits of Mary Ann and Jenna Warren (special guest stars Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty) soon makes the scene crossing through the veil between worlds in order to help their ancestors out.

I based this upon something real in Salem and felt it fitted well for our Halloween episode of Season 4, which would air exactly on that date.

Since we haven't gotten Shannen and Alyssa appearing in any episodes of S4 so far, maybe they can return in this one. Especially with the veil between worlds thin on Halloween, having them both crossover for this one day would be neat.


I was very tempted to have the third spirit who died on the site being Holly Marie Comb's character, but I went against this idea. Since we're making this as real as possible, and throwing all three stars into one show will just take the attention off our Warren stars. So I didn't even add her to the press release. Maybe for the fantasy casting thread. That would be my way of having all three together for an episode.

The Joshua Ward house was built back in 1784, but is said to be haunted of the spirits of both Sheriff George ‘The Strangler’ Corwin and Giles Cory. Although the house was built after the Salem Witch Trials, both of these men were heavily involved with the witch trials.

The house is built on land that was once owned by the Sheriff who was known as a sick and sadistic man who used unusually cruel methods to interrogate suspected witches. He died in 1697 and was actually buried in what is now the basement of the Joshua Ward House! His body was moved to Broad Street Cemetery, but his spirit has lingered here and is blamed for choking visitors.

Giles Corey was one of the men that Sheriff Corwin tortured and killed for being a warlock. His spirit is often blamed for pulling things off of shelves and knocking trash cans over! There are also reports of a third spirit, a female who may also have been one of the accused witches killed by Corwin.

The CW has made its new series orders. The network has ordered two reboots, including 'Elemental Charmed', from original series creator-showrunner Constance M. Burge.

Elemental Charmed from CBS TV Studios —was among one of the early frontrunners that sailed through pilot season to land on the schedule.

Additionally, all the newly picked up series come from female writers.

48 hours! This is pretty intense, but the perfect spot to end on a cliffhanger. I'm sure the Warren's are going to be so very shocked to learn the truth about Andrea.

A quick question though, if Peyton shapeshifted into an older version of herself, Paige knows her daughter is back. But doesn't know she's taken over Andrea unless she lets her know. So unless when she changes back into a witch, she tries to suppress her memories of her bad days or she just has a memory problem.

“The original was so much about female empowerment and sisterhood and strong women taking over the world, and I feel like that’s what we need again right now,” said Burge about rebooting the 1998-2006 series she created.

The first episode wasted no time in expanding the concepts of different background experiences and ages, with each of the Warrens coming from a different generation, while featuring a few nods to the WB Network original "Charmed series.

"Unlike other reboots that use popular shows from the '80s and '90s that featured strong women in order to make bold statements about the modern issues going on in the world today, we want to be like classic 'Charmed'. that lets our viewers check into our series, enter our fantasy world and allow all the troubles in the real world to go away for an hour each week. We don't want to preach our own opinions onto viewers," Burge revealed about what they hope the viewers will take away from the series.  "We believe that will allow our series to still be relevant and fun to watch 20 years from now, just like Classic Charmed, unlike reboots that only preach about what's going on today."

Burge assured that the series will stay true to its predecessor.

“So many people have told me that they loved the original,” she said. “That’s I told The CW that I would not allow them to make a reboot if it wasn't true to the original. I love that we want to have it sound like our show. But I'm going to be honest because we do want it to be as real as possible. I do think, you had so much fun with it Es. I think it's perfect, but if we want this to sound real.

A few comments do sound a little like an opinion and a tad fantasy and a little too much (not that I disagree - Because I got a kick out of those statements and loved them Es) with unlike reboots that only preach about what's going on today and And by not having a whitelighter or a half-demon, those will be the things that will be most important things in our series, not the romances.

Even though I agree with those statements for sure, I feel if our reboot was real, we'd already get some backlash from other reboots coming at us, for that remark about other reboots preaching.

But, maybe I'm looking into it too much. What do others think?

48 hours! This is pretty intense, but the perfect spot to end on a cliffhanger. I'm sure the Warren's are going to be so very shocked to learn the truth about Andrea.

A quick question though, if Peyton shapeshifted into an older version of herself, Paige knows her daughter is back. But doesn't know she's taken over Andrea unless she lets her know. So unless when she changes back into a witch, she tries to suppress her memories of her bad days or she just has a memory problem.

Then again, maybe when she changes back into a witch, Does Peyton quickly cover her tracks by shapeshifting into someone else much like Cole did with the Seer, so they don't find out yet.

I'm going to start editing the press releases that were posted on Pages 13-15. I don't *think* there were posted on Page 13 before my most recent update that didn't make the update. If I'm wrong, please re-post it and I'll make sure to edit it and add it to Friday's update - our first-month anniversary update!

And, yes, no more Es-having-fun. With these, I'll try to stay in our alternate universe where we're eagerly awaiting the series premiere of 'Elemental Charmed' on October 14th and not the rip-off, and try to make them sound real. If they don't, please be sure to point it out so I can fix it in time for Friday's update.

In fact, thinking of that, I think I'll just concentrate on edits tonight, then tomorrow, I'll first "edit the edits" and then do an update so it will be ready for you guys to read and enjoy on our one-month anniversary! I also plan on doing a summary showing how many episodes we have written for each season and how many we have left to reach our goal of 100 episodes.

Comic-Con: 'Elemental Charmed' to End With Season Five after One Hundred Episodes

It's official: CBS-TV's 'Elemental Charmed' will end with its upcoming fifth season.

The news, announced Saturday at Comic-Con, comes after stars TBC1 and TBC2 previously signaled that the end of the series was in sight.

Executive Producer Connie Burge made the announcement Saturday during the show's annual trek to San Diego Comic-Con, though the decision to wrap the series she created comes as little surprise.

Talk of ending the series has been a much-talked-about question among the writer's room for some time. Burge told the press, "We mapped out a four or five-year plan for the series after we got picked up for a second season and moved to CBS. But the only question on our minds was exactly how much story we had in us. We didn't want to keep on going when we dried up all the plots we could make." 

Stars TBC1 and TBC2 had signaled that the end of the drama was in sight. Both actors had previously indicated their plans to do one last season of the series, and indicated the idea of a possible half-season order for the fifth season is what got a couple of the stars of the show to sign beyond the original four-year-contract they all signed for when the series was first picked up back in 2018.

"We all have discussed it and we've made the decision that this is it," Burge told fans Saturday. "This is going to be the final season of 'Elemental Charmed'. It's bittersweet and emotional and we're all going to be crying in a minute. It's been a beautiful run.... Get ready, because it's going to be a very crazy and wild ride for these final episodes."

The final season will be a shortened one, consisting of 12 episodes, bringing the series to a total of 100 episodes. The show returns Sunday, September 11th at 8 p.m. Production is expected to begin on Monday, August 8th, 2022. It's a little later than usual. Due to the shortened order, they will be able to be more flexible, and the other two stars, TBC4 and TBC5, are still busy shooting movies.

“'Elemental Charmed' has meant so much to so many fans around the world and has meant so much to all of us at CBS,” Charles Smith, network president of CBS-TV, said in a release shortly after the news broke at Comic-Con.“I’m a huge fan of the show myself, and I’ve seen every episode. The relationship and bond between these five stars have been such a blessing. So I am very happy that we can give Connie and her writers the chance to finish their story the way they have envisioned, and to give viewers a fantastic conclusion to five spectacular seasons.”

Saturday's Comic-Con panel ended with a sweet video tribute and Burge's final message to fans: "Thank you for joining us on the ride with these five amazing women, and I cannot wait to close the doors on the Elemental Witches for this final stretch of 12 episodes."

Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano set to return for 'Elemental Charmed's’ final season

Following the news last weekend at Comic-Con that 'Elemental Charmed' was coming to an end with one more season, it has now been officially confirmed that fans can expect to see Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano reprise their roles of Jenna and Mary Ann Warren one more time in the final season, which starts production for the final season on Monday, August 8th, 2022. Both Doherty and Milano will appear in the opening episode of Season 5 to kickstart the beginning of the final 12 episodes of 'Elemental Charmed' which will premiere on September 11th, 2022.

It comes as no surprise since both actresses have previously made guest appearances on the series once every season, usually either opening or ending a season. It was only a matter of signing them both and securing them at the same time.

Executive producer Connie Burge revealed, "I wanted to announce this at Comic-Con last weekend, but the announcement of our show ending, we wanted to make sure that we were taking a second to reflect on our show's legacy and let that sink in and let our fans prepare for goodbye, before we went and revealed the returning faces for the last season".

Doherty later spoke about her return and the series’ ending in a recent press interview: "I'm excited to come back one last time to 'Elemental Charmed'. I've enjoyed being a part of this amazing series, and I'm so proud of the work Connie, the writers, and the cast have produced over the years. Alyssa and I have enjoyed getting to play the parts of Mary Ann and Jenna. So I'm looking forward to our return."

Milano also made a comment referring to the series ending: "I'm sad to see this show ending since I've enjoyed popping in and out of the series for the few years, but I'm excited that Shannen and I will get a chance once again to appear in the first episode of a season, in this case, the final season.”

Burge didn't reveal any hints about what role the two will play, but did add that she’s certain that fans will think waiting will be worth it. She also hinted at the possibility of the two actors might make cameos in the final episode, to be aired on Sunday, February 16, 2023, but only quick cameos since she wants the final episode to revolve around the ‘Elemental Charmed’ actors.

I've adjusted my press release with many requests to have the tagline being the episode's title now and made the changes.

I’m with the others, Summer – your original tagline really makes a great episode title. Even though Classic Charmed *did* have an episode BASED on the Blair Witch, it didn’t actually include the Blair Witch; instead we had an evil witch, Tuatha. So doing an episode that actually includes the Blair Witch sounds great to me – especially showing what that “witch” truly is.

I also really like the 20s one, but there's a problem - unlike Phoebe Halliwell, Prudence Warren only has premonitions; she doesn't see the past, and in order to truly have an everlasting time loop, they have to keep doing the same thing.  So see what you think of how I handled it.

CAMP EVIL! A POPULAR LEGEND THAT ISN'T WHAT IT SEEMS — When Patience arrives at a crime scene where two children have been murdered deep in the woods near a local camp, she discovers that the local campers believe the legend of the Blair Witch, and when she finds out why they believe, she wonders.

But when Patience tells her family about it, both Prudence and Paige laugh it off as nothing but a myth that someone used to make money in films and fiction books, especially because if this witch had truly killed children, the legend would be about a warlock, not a witch. But when Patience tells her family that people have been murdered at the same time in the same place every year, for the last 50 years, the laughter turns into curiosity. They decide to investigate and prove whether this legend is real or not.

To their surprise the Blair Witch isn't a witch or even a warlock at all, but the spirit of a wailing child. This young boy has been haunting the local camp at the same time every year for the past 50 years.

Patience's investigation takes her to a local cabin deep in the woods, where she crosses path with another suspicious female resident in the cabin who vanishes when she enters. To her surprise, she receives a vision of the past that reveals that the female in the cabin was the mother of the young boy, who drowned her child.

When Prudence has a premonition of the mother killing Patience, the Warrens have to figure out how to rescue Patience, and reunite the young boy and his mother reunited so they can cross over.

Season 3, Episode 3: 'The Roaring Twenties Over and Over and Over Again!'

AN ANTIQUE CAMERA, AN EVERLASTING TIME LOOP AND A MYSTERY IN THE 1920s — During the summer, Phoebe has been interning at a local Salem newspaper. On the first day of her last week before she returns to school, her editor offers her a challenge: if she comes up with a killer article before the end of the week, she'll put it on the cover. Phoebe knows that putting a cover on her resume woul work wonders when she goes job-hunting after she earns her degree in a few years, besides ensuring her another chance at interning the following summer.

She decides to do her article on the history of Salem – the good parts of Salem rather than the witch trials that most Americans know about. She even begs her mother for the use one of her old antique cameras to capture the style of an old-time photo to go along with her article. Patience doesn’t want anyone but her to use the camera but agrees to help her daughter by taking the pictures herself. But when Phoebe directs her to take a photo in downtown Salem and Patience snaps the shuttle, both Patience and Phoebe literally disappear into thin air, leaving behind the camera.

When they find themselves taking a similar picture, except back in the 1920’s, suddenly they find themselves back in the 2020’s, unable to prevent themselves from doing this yet again. They realize that they are stuck in an everlasting time loop with no way of stopping it.

Elsewhere, as the family prepares to enjoy their weekly family dinner at Piper’s restaurant, Prudence, Paige and Piper become worried when Patience and Phoebe do not show up. The three Warrens eventually find the camera, and when Prudence touches the camera, she gets a premonition of the past, which shows Patience and Phoebe in the 20s. Realizing that Prudence never sees the past, but only the future, they realize that Patience and Phoebe are caught in an everlasting time loop. This is especially true when Patience and Phoebe suddenly return, take the picture and then disappear.

The other three Warrens hurry home, heading straight to their book of shadows for both answers. They find a way to break the everlasting loop which will let them rescue Patience and Phoebe, but it can only be done by making Patience and Phoebe stay and experience the Roaring 20’s past midnight, and that can only happen if they can get the camera away from Patience so she can’t take a picture in the past. Only then will they be returned to their own time and be able to stay. But the only Warren who can freeze molecules is Phoebe…

EXCLUSIVE: Attendees at this year’s New York Comic Con are going to feel seriously Charmed with an early look at the CW reboot from original ‘Charmed’s’ creator Connie Burge.

The new version of the late 1990s supernatural sibling WB series is set to debut on October 14, but I’ve learned that NYCC fans will get to see the first episode of the new ‘Charmed’, ‘Elemental Charmed’, a week beforehand.

Already having previewed at San Diego Comic-Con in July, the Sheryl J. Anderson and Paul Ruditis penned opener that’s screening at the Hammerstein Ballroom on October 7 at 1:30 PM ET has some added significance at NYCC, at least in terms of timing. The preview coincides with the 20th anniversary of classic ‘Charmed’, which first hit the air on October 7, 1998. A panel with on-screen Warren family members TBC1, TBC2, TBC3, TBC4, and TBC5 is scheduled, too.

TBC1 who portrays Prudence Warren has said ”My first Comic-Con ever I was really nervous. But I'm glad that I have the support of my cast members. I never dreamed that at my age, I'd be a star at these events."

TBC5, who portrays Phoebe, the youngest Warren, was a little more star-struck being in the same room as other well-known names. "I've gone to these events as a fan, and now I'm being greeted by fans. It's so surreal"

Connie Burge has also teased that the upcoming tribute to the original classic series set to air on October 7th is going to be very wonderful. "Sheryl, Chris, Zack (note: the writers of the series who were also writers for classic ‘Charmed’.) and I all sat down and we each contributed some to it. But I'm so excited for fans to be able to see the real star power trio together who are the anchors for the hour-long tribute. We’re also happy that fans will get to see pieces of a few of the episode in HD for the first time."

"I haven’t seen them myself, but I've heard the remasters have come out very nicely,” Burge added, sounding very impressed that fans will get a chance to honor their original work that inspired the new series in true magical style.

Also like SDCC, the core cast of ‘Elemental Charmed’ will be on hand at the screening as well as an autograph session at the sprawling Javits Center later that last day of NYCC 2018 at 3 PM ET.

I’m with the others, Summer – your original tagline really makes a great episode title. Even though Classic Charmed *did* have an episode BASED on the Blair Witch, it didn’t actually include the Blair Witch; instead we had an evil witch, Tuatha. So doing an episode that actually includes the Blair Witch sounds great to me – especially showing what that “witch” truly is.

I also really like the 20s one, but there's a problem - unlike Phoebe Halliwell, Prudence Warren only has premonitions; she doesn't see the past, and in order to truly have an everlasting time loop, they have to keep doing the same thing.  So see what you think of how I handled it.

I'm glad you changed it Summer. Great title, and love the addition of the Blair Witch.

Season 2, Episode 4: 'Don't Go Alone Down the Trail of the Wailing Child'

CAMP EVIL! A POPULAR LEGEND THAT ISN'T WHAT IT SEEMS — When Patience arrives at a crime scene where two children have been murdered deep in the woods near a local camp, she discovers that the local campers believe the legend of the Blair Witch, and when she finds out why they believe, she wonders.

But when Patience tells her family about it, both Prudence and Paige laugh it off as nothing but a myth that someone used to make money in films and fiction books, especially because if this witch had truly killed children, the legend would be about a warlock, not a witch. But when Patience tells her family that people have been murdered at the same time in the same place every year, for the last 50 years, the laughter turns into curiosity. They decide to investigate and prove whether this legend is real or not.

To their surprise the Blair Witch isn't a witch or even a warlock at all, but the spirit of a wailing child. This young boy has been haunting the local camp at the same time every year for the past 50 years.

Patience's investigation takes her to a local cabin deep in the woods, where she crosses path with another suspicious female resident in the cabin who vanishes when she enters. To her surprise, she receives a vision of the past that reveals that the female in the cabin was the mother of the young boy, who drowned her child.

When Prudence has a premonition of the mother killing Patience, the Warrens have to figure out how to rescue Patience, and reunite the young boy and his mother reunited so they can cross over.

I love it Es.

I did some digging (just to be sure) and they do just have executive producer/s attending. But I guess perhaps my confusion is the terms in some cases.

Some panels I've checked up on for reference have producers and the showrunner attending (but that wasn't for a newly released show, but an existing one on its third or fourth season), and others just the executive producer. I'm assuming that showrunner and executive producer is the same term? 

But since we have just one executive producer, and unless we promote someone at a later stage. Having just Connie present at least at Comic-Con makes sense. 

I say leave it as we have it.

Season 1, Episode 14: 'Persuasion With a Vengeance'

THE POWER OF PERSUASION IS DEADLY ESPECIALLY IF ONE OF THE WARRENS GETS IN THE WAY OF THEIR AGENDA - While studying in the library for an upcoming test, Phoebe meets Dean Thompson, whose mother worked at the hospital with Prudence before she retired. Phoebe and Dean bond, so when he asks her out, she gladly accepts. But that night, Dean doesn't turn up for their date.

Being stood up upsets Phoebe until the next morning when Patience tells the family about a student named Dean Thompson was found outside the library building. He committed suicide.
As Prudence tries to comfort her friend, she has a premonition showing a college-aged girl telling Phoebe to go jump in a lake and Phoebe not only jumps in the lake, she drowns. Shocked and horrified, Prudence describes the other girl her friend, her friend recognizes her as Stacey Jones, Dean’s extremely jealous ex-girlfriend

The Warrens check their book of shadows and find out that Stacey must be a warlock with the power of persuasion - the power to control people by giving suggestions. They realize that she must be using her power to get revenge on all the people she thinks hurt or upset her. They guess that she must’ve seen Dean and Phoebe together, got Dean to meet her on top of the library and told him to take a flying leap and he jumped off the building. Phoebe agrees to stay in the Manor with the doors and windows locked until Stacey is neutralized. To be sure, the Warrens cast a protective spell around the Manor that won’t let anyone in.

While looking for the explanation, Piper found the recipe for a potion that will bind powers and brews it in hopes that she can save her sister. But when she gets ready to throw it, Stacey tells her to drink the potion…

WARRENS SWITCH POWERS WITH WARLOCKS! - While battling a couple of warlocks, a Power-of-the-Elementals spell backfires, switching all the powers in the room. Now Prudence has control over the air, Phoebe has control over the earth, Paige has control over fire and Patience and Piper display warlock abilities, while their enemies now have control over spirit and water.

Now the Warrens are left struggling to master their new powers, while the two warlocks use their new powers to have one up on the Warrens, since the power of premonitions works in their favor, nearly killing Piper. Will they be able to cast another Power of the Elemental spell to fix this when they only have control of three of the Elements?

So, how’s that? Gotta admit I really like this one – just wish we could figure out what warlock powers are…Anyone have any ideas?

Great job Es! I LOVE your new addition with Stacey telling Piper to drink the potion, that is the best addition to make this episode so much more exciting. 

I like these episodes. Gotta admit since our show is on The CW to start, having an episode or two based in College and on Phoebe does fit their target market before we move to CBS.

As for the warlock powers, I'd love to not go too basic with blinking and ones Classic Charmed did. I'd go for something more creative. What about Invisibility - that could be different?. We've used mind control and power of persuasion for warlocks, would these be common powers?

I'm not sure, I quite like that we give warlocks different powers?

I'll try and do that later. But just popping in to add new press releases I've been working on. 



Since I know Halloween does occur on a Sunday when our fourth season would air, I just went by dates, and we HAVE to do a Halloween themed one for that day. So I put this one together.

I based this upon something real in Salem and felt it fitted well for our Halloween episode of Season 4, which would air exactly on that date.

Since we haven't gotten Shannen and Alyssa appearing in any episodes of S4 so far, maybe they can return in this one. Especially with the veil between worlds thin on Halloween, having them both crossover for this one day would be neat.


I was very tempted to have the third spirit who died on the site being Holly Marie Comb's character, but I went against this idea. Since we're making this as real as possible, and throwing all three stars into one show will just take the attention off our Warren stars. So I didn't even add her to the press release. Maybe for the fantasy casting thread. That would be my way of having all three together for an episode.

The Joshua Ward house was built back in 1784, but is said to be haunted of the spirits of both Sheriff George ‘The Strangler’ Corwin and Giles Cory. Although the house was built after the Salem Witch Trials, both of these men were heavily involved with the witch trials.

The house is built on land that was once owned by the Sheriff who was known as a sick and sadistic man who used unusually cruel methods to interrogate suspected witches. He died in 1697 and was actually buried in what is now the basement of the Joshua Ward House! His body was moved to Broad Street Cemetery, but his spirit has lingered here and is blamed for choking visitors.

Giles Corey was one of the men that Sheriff Corwin tortured and killed for being a warlock. His spirit is often blamed for pulling things off of shelves and knocking trash cans over! There are also reports of a third spirit, a female who may also have been one of the accused witches killed by Corwin.

Oh, Pheebs! Especially because this really did happen in Salem, it's absolutely fantastic! Although I wish Halloween was closer to a Sunday in a different season because I'm not sure how well it will fit in Season Four with what we have in mind for the finale. But I'm sure we can somehow make it fit.

I'm wondering if for these episodes that are actually based on real life (I know there was another one earlier...the one about Bloody Mary) if you could do a Deadline press release telling the story behind them.

My only problem is the inclusion of Shannen and Alyssa. I really don't think we want them to appear in more than one episode a season - we want the spotlight to stay on TBC1, TBC2, TBC3, TBC4 and TBC5, not guest stars from Classic Charmed. I thought Mary Ann and Jenna were part of the Season 4/Season 5 ending, although that might just be Season 5 right now. If the're not part of any other S4 episode, this is perfect = as long as they're not the ones who rescue the Warrens - we don't want to turn them into something like Leo, always coming to the rescue, making it seem like the Warrens are helpless without their ancestors, especially when they're played by Classic Charmed actors AND Jenna's supposed to be a warlock! Unless we somehow show how she's changed, we might end up wanting to just have Alyssa guest star, not Shannen.

For now, I'll keep them in in hopes that this is their only appearance, so here's my edit:

Season 4, Episode 4: 'The Hauntings of the Joshua Ward House...'

HAPPY(?) HALLOWEEN, WARRENS! - It's Halloween time in Salem and the town has a festive celebration each year, which features a cornucopia of Halloween-like experiences from Family Film Nights to ghost tours and haunted houses. But the Warren family discover that this Halloween will be anything but just a normal day of celebrations - it's actually a trap.

When the veil between worlds thin on Halloween, the spirits of both Sheriff George ‘The Strangler’ Corwin and Giles Cory return, coming back for revenge against witches. They haunt the former Joshua Ward House, now a hotel, that has been transformed into a haunted house theme for the Halloween night. Sheriff George sets a siren that will lure any witch into the hotel, and once they're there, they can't leave. He's determined to traps all witches inside the hotel and then burn down the hotel, which will also free his and Cory's spirits.

As the Warrens struggle to fight off the spirit of Sheriff Corwin, a third spirit, a female who died on the property makes herself known. The spirits of Mary Ann and Jenna Warren (special guest stars Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty) soon makes the scene crossing through the veil between worlds. The Warrens think they're back in order to help their descendants out. Unfortunately, Jenna there to make things worse instead of better.
