I've adjusted my press release with many requests to have the tagline being the episode's title now and made the changes.

I’m with the others, Summer – your original tagline really makes a great episode title. Even though Classic Charmed *did* have an episode BASED on the Blair Witch, it didn’t actually include the Blair Witch; instead we had an evil witch, Tuatha. So doing an episode that actually includes the Blair Witch sounds great to me – especially showing what that “witch” truly is.

I also really like the 20s one, but there's a problem - unlike Phoebe Halliwell, Prudence Warren only has premonitions; she doesn't see the past, and in order to truly have an everlasting time loop, they have to keep doing the same thing.  So see what you think of how I handled it.

Season 2, Episode 4: 'Don't Go Alone Down the Trail of the Wailing Child'

CAMP EVIL! A POPULAR LEGEND THAT ISN'T WHAT IT SEEMS — When Patience arrives at a crime scene where two children have been murdered deep in the woods near a local camp, she discovers that the local campers believe the legend of the Blair Witch, and when she finds out why they believe, she wonders.

But when Patience tells her family about it, both Prudence and Paige laugh it off as nothing but a myth that someone used to make money in films and fiction books, especially because if this witch had truly killed children, the legend would be about a warlock, not a witch. But when Patience tells her family that people have been murdered at the same time in the same place every year, for the last 50 years, the laughter turns into curiosity. They decide to investigate and prove whether this legend is real or not.

To their surprise the Blair Witch isn't a witch or even a warlock at all, but the spirit of a wailing child. This young boy has been haunting the local camp at the same time every year for the past 50 years.

Patience's investigation takes her to a local cabin deep in the woods, where she crosses path with another suspicious female resident in the cabin who vanishes when she enters. To her surprise, she receives a vision of the past that reveals that the female in the cabin was the mother of the young boy, who drowned her child.

When Prudence has a premonition of the mother killing Patience, the Warrens have to figure out how to rescue Patience, and reunite the young boy and his mother reunited so they can cross over.

Season 3, Episode 3: 'The Roaring Twenties Over and Over and Over Again!'

AN ANTIQUE CAMERA, AN EVERLASTING TIME LOOP AND A MYSTERY IN THE 1920s — During the summer, Phoebe has been interning at a local Salem newspaper. On the first day of her last week before she returns to school, her editor offers her a challenge: if she comes up with a killer article before the end of the week, she'll put it on the cover. Phoebe knows that putting a cover on her resume woul work wonders when she goes job-hunting after she earns her degree in a few years, besides ensuring her another chance at interning the following summer.

She decides to do her article on the history of Salem – the good parts of Salem rather than the witch trials that most Americans know about. She even begs her mother for the use one of her old antique cameras to capture the style of an old-time photo to go along with her article. Patience doesn’t want anyone but her to use the camera but agrees to help her daughter by taking the pictures herself. But when Phoebe directs her to take a photo in downtown Salem and Patience snaps the shuttle, both Patience and Phoebe literally disappear into thin air, leaving behind the camera.

When they find themselves taking a similar picture, except back in the 1920’s, suddenly they find themselves back in the 2020’s, unable to prevent themselves from doing this yet again. They realize that they are stuck in an everlasting time loop with no way of stopping it.

Elsewhere, as the family prepares to enjoy their weekly family dinner at Piper’s restaurant, Prudence, Paige and Piper become worried when Patience and Phoebe do not show up. The three Warrens eventually find the camera, and when Prudence touches the camera, she gets a premonition of the past, which shows Patience and Phoebe in the 20s. Realizing that Prudence never sees the past, but only the future, they realize that Patience and Phoebe are caught in an everlasting time loop. This is especially true when Patience and Phoebe suddenly return, take the picture and then disappear.

The other three Warrens hurry home, heading straight to their book of shadows for both answers. They find a way to break the everlasting loop which will let them rescue Patience and Phoebe, but it can only be done by making Patience and Phoebe stay and experience the Roaring 20’s past midnight, and that can only happen if they can get the camera away from Patience so she can’t take a picture in the past. Only then will they be returned to their own time and be able to stay. But the only Warren who can freeze molecules is Phoebe…

The CW has made its new series orders. The network has ordered two reboots, including 'Elemental Charmed', from original series creator-showrunner Constance M. Burge.

Additionally, all the newly picked up series come from female writers.

Edit it, rewrite it, change it! Have another idea for a Christmas story.

I had an earlier idea of Piper & Phoebe turning into children from a spell that backfires when they want to remember the best Christmas they ever had growing up, which brings forth some ghost as well haunting and needing to learn the true meaning of Christmas to move on. But I didn't know where to go with it. If anyone knows how to work that angle, go for it!

WOW, Sasha, you really did dive right in, and at a quick glance, this looks fantastic! Unfortunately I'm BEAT from doing the one-month-day update so I'll give it a better read and edit tomorrow morning.

Let's get that press release count up higher on our one month anniversary. I couldn't resist posting a new press release, one I've been working on all last night.  

ELEMENTAL WITCHES (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)

Season 3, Episode 1: 'How I Survived My Summer Vacation filled with violent tendencies, viruses and making deals with warlocks (Part One)'

THE FIRST HALF OF A THRILLING TWO HOUR SEASON PREMIERE OF 'ELEMENTAL CHARMED' — It has been three months following the events that went down at the end of the second season, and the Warren's continue their lives as usual. Phoebe has been interning at a local Salem newspaper, Patience is on her annual leave and is off on vacation with her sister Paige and their two closest friends. Piper is busy continuing her restaurant and in the process of hiring a new head chef after her old one had relocated, and Prudence spends her time at a not-for-profit organization. 

But when Patience and Paige's return from their three-week vacation, something is very different about them, they don't act like themselves and begin to have violent or aggressive tendencies. Much later after following a lead in a recent rescue of an innocent against a warlock, do both Patience and Paige act like they don't care, and when its time to use their powers, do both of them suddenly feel they can't use them properly.

Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe begin to wonder if they just don't care and faking it, or something else happened on the vacation they don't know about. Eventually, when both of them collapse on the floor, does Prudence rush to treat them and soon runs right to the book of shadows and looks in the book, and confirms her suspicions, a very rare virus known as 'Wither Pox' that shows no signs or effects to non-magicals but to witches will weaken their powers and eventually they will cease to exist anymore over time, as they begin to experience very violent and aggressive tendencies and eventually kill them. Wither Pox also affects warlocks too. But nobody knows how it transmits or spreads.

No, later does the warlock that they were trying to stop against harming an innocent, shows up at the manor showing early signs of the 'Wither Pox' with two other members of his warlock coven, and wanting to make an alliance with the Warren's to stop the 'Wither Pox' from destroying all Witches and Warlocks forever.

Now, Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe are left with a choice to work with the warlock or not?

THE SECOND HALF OF A THRILLING TWO-HOUR PREMIERE OF 'ELEMENTAL CHARMED' — Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe have decided to make a temporary alliance (although they will never trust them of course) with their warlock foes in the hopes that all sides can find a vaccine to cure the 'Wither Pox'. 

But first, they must find out how Patience and Paige got affected, to begin with. Prudence manages to numb the pain that Patience and Paige feel, but it can only last so long before the effects begin to take over, just to find out what they know. Calling Andrea over in the emergency, to help the family because Prudence wishes to stay to tend to her daughters, but Piper and Phoebe don't want to leave her alone. Piper & Andrea accompany one of the warlocks to an island near Florida, while Phoebe and Prudence stay behind to tend to Patience and Paige.

Upon arriving in Florida, they soon manage to find who is started the 'Wither Pox' but no later does their warlock double-cross them, and makes an alliance in the hopes of just saving the warlock race while wanting to eliminate all witches forever. No sooner, does Andrea get infected?

Piper learns that how witches and warlocks are affected is not through touch or any contact with the person affected, but through the use of their powers, when an affected warlock or witch uses their powers against another does the virus spread from their powers onto another.

Without a means to get back to the manor quickly enough, and since the warlock had used his powers to teleport them there, they phone Prudence and Phoebe to warm them but get no answer.

Fearing the worst, time isn't on anyone's side, and will the Warren's all manage to find a cure, or will the Warlocks succeed in wiping out all witches forever, and find or get the cure first?

While writing, I didn't even think I'd get a two-hour or two-parter, but when I ended up finishing it, I found I could go on? 

If you think it doesn't work as a two-parter/two-hour, feel free to change it, if you think it would make a better arc or even for season 2, since didn't we plan this season the time-travel with secrets, it could work as a fun end of season storyline for multiple episodes in S2, make it known?

Again feel free to edit, ask questions or re-do?

Although I must admit that this is your first press release that I'm not nuts on.  Because you only used a piece of a full article, it comes out sounding very choppy.  So I want to bring the whole thing back and change the rip-off parts to ours.  Unfortunately after working on the anniversary update last night, I overslept and have to get to work, so I can't do it right now but will when I get home.

If you get a chance before I get home and want to redo it, go for it.

Quick note that Connie was never the showrunner, that was always Kern, so I'm going to delete that.   I also want to take out the bit about female writers since Zach and Paul aren't, and they, along with Sheryl and Chris, are our only writers. The rip-off is making the same mistake as Classic Charmed by having too many writers which is the reason for lots of Classic Charmed's famous inconsistencies.

The CW Picks Up ‘Elemental Charmed’ Pilot To Series

The CW has made its new series orders. The network has ordered two reboots, including the new fantasy drama 'Elemental Charmed', from Constance M. Burge, the original series creator of the classic series 'Charmed' back in 1998 for the upcoming 2018–2019 season.

Penned by Sheryl J. Anderson and Paul Ruditis and created by Burge, the “Charmed” reboot pilot centers around centers on five women, not three, and unlike the original classic series, this new take will be incorporating the five elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit).

The show will star TBC1, TBC2, TBC3, TBC4, and TBC5.

Giving new meaning to “third time’s a charm,” this reboot has been attempted twice before — first for CBS in 2013, then again for The CW in 2017. That second attempt was to be set in the 1970s, centered around three women of no blood relation, an idea that was eventually tweaked to become the pilot that earned this series order.

The original Classic Charmed series ran for eight seasons (1998–2006) on The WB and starred the likes of Holly Marie Combs (Pretty Little Liars), Alyssa Milano (Mistresses), Rose McGowan (Citizen Rose) and Shannen Doherty (Beverly Hills, 90210).

WOW! just WOW! I love this Summer so much! 

I'm already on the edge of my seat wondering how they get back to the manor (since we have no whitelighters and Paige is not an option due to the virus) and what happened to Prudence and Phoebe, did they get infected too. So many possibilities.

Actually, that would make an even better second season cliffhanger Summer, since I was on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next or how they get back to the manor, and what happened to Prudence and Phoebe.

That's how I'd love to see Season 2 end, with the plotline possibly resolved in a two-hour opener of Season Three. Of course, It changes the timeline of our series, since that is during or near the end of Summer. But I know we've had Charmed seasons end in August and start in October. So nothing we can't adjust.

I hope you keep writing. I'm dying to know what happens next.

THE FIRST HALF OF A THRILLING TWO HOUR SEASON PREMIERE OF 'ELEMENTAL CHARMED' — It has been three months following the events that went down at the end of the second season, and the Warren's continue their lives as usual. Phoebe has been interning at a local Salem newspaper, Patience is on her long service leave and is off on vacation with her sister Paige and their two closest friends. Piper is busy continuing her restaurant and in the process of hiring a new head chef after her old one had relocated, and Prudence spends her time at a not-for-profit organization. 

But when Patience and Paige's return from their three-week vacation, something is very different about them, they don't act like themselves and begin to have violent or aggressive tendencies. Much later after following a lead in a recent rescue of an innocent against a warlock, do both Prudence and Paige act like they don't care, and when its time to use their powers, do both of them suddenly feel they can't use them properly.

Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe begin to wonder if they just don't care and faking it, or something else happened on the vacation they don't know about. Eventually, when both of them collapse on the floor, does Prudence rush to treat them and soon runs right to the book of shadows and looks in the book, and confirms her suspicions, a very rare virus known as 'Wither Pox' that shows no signs or effects to non-magicals but to witches will weaken their powers and eventually they will cease to exist anymore over time, as they begin to experience very violent and aggressive tendencies and eventually kill them. Wither Pox also affects warlocks too. But nobody knows how it transmits or spreads.

No, later does the warlock that they were trying to stop against harming an innocent, shows up at the manor showing early signs of the 'Wither Pox' with two other members of his warlock coven, and wanting to make an alliance with the Warren's to stop the 'Wither Pox' from destroying all Witches and Warlocks forever.

Now, Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe are left with a choice to work with the warlock or not?

Season 3, Episode 2: 'How I Survived My Summer Vacation filled with violent tendencies, viruses and making deals with Warlocks (Part Two)'

THE SECOND HALF OF A THRILLING TWO-HOUR PREMIERE OF 'ELEMENTAL CHARMED' — Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe have decided to make a temporary alliance (although they will never trust them of course) with their warlock foes in the hopes that all sides can find a vaccine to cure the 'Wither Pox'. 

But first, they must find out how Patience and Paige got affected, to begin with. Prudence manages to numb the pain that Patience and Paige feel, but it can only last so long before the effects begin to take over, just to find out what they know. Calling Andrea over in the emergency, to help the family because Prudence wishes to stay to tend to her daughters, but Piper and Phoebe don't want to leave her alone. Piper & Andrea accompany one of the warlocks to an island near Florida, while Phoebe and Prudence stay behind to tend to Patience and Paige.

Upon arriving in Florida, they soon manage to find who is started the 'Wither Pox' but no later does their warlock double-cross them, and makes an alliance in the hopes of just saving the warlock race while wanting to eliminate all witches forever. No sooner, does Andrea get infected?

Piper learns that how witches and warlocks are affected is not through touch or any contact with the person affected, but through the use of their powers, when an affected warlock or witch uses their powers against another does the virus spread from their powers onto another.

Without a means to get back to the manor quickly enough, and since the warlock had used his powers to teleport them there, they phone Prudence and Phoebe to warm them but get no answer.

Fearing the worst, time isn't on anyone's side, and will the Warren's all manage to find a cure, or will the Warlocks succeed in wiping out all witches forever, and find or get the cure first?

WOW! just WOW! I love this Summer so much! 

I'm already on the edge of my seat wondering how they get back to the manor (since we have no whitelighters and Paige is not an option due to the virus) and what happened to Prudence and Phoebe, did they get infected too. So many possibilities.

I'm with Colton. Keep writing! I do think that would be a great cliffhanger to Season 2 that resolves in S3 or an arc in S2 or one from S3 into S4. Lot's of choices.

Unlike Classic Charmed's door closing. Maybe all seasons have a cliffhanger ending that carried a story into the next.

Having read it. I completely agree. It makes a great arc for EC. 

Actually what if Peyton wanted to wipe out all witches forever in the last episode. This could be how a Warren might die in the series finale. But I don't want to take away from other finale plots. 

This one just has potential to be longer. 

I'm enjoying it Summer!

Like others suggested. That might work well as a story-arc.

I do like that setup for S2's last episodes and resolving it at the start of S3. We haven't solved S3 yet maybe the threat they are up against in our time travel season of secrets has a third party secretly looking for this virus and finds it that sits a little to our third season finale and a plot that carries and resolves at the start of S4. Letting Season 1 and 2 stay stand-alone seasons.

I'm thinking more and more this should be a little longer. 

Great suggestion Pheebs. I never would of thought of that. Also I agree making the first season or even second standalone might be good.

But if we find we have plenty of story for S3 with the time travel, I might put it into the end of S2/start of S3.

I'll have to go back to the drawing board and see if I can work more and re-edit my press releases or just continue where I left off over the weekend.

Season 1, Episode 9: 'The Warrens Who Saved Christmas'

A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS THEMED EPISODE OF 'ELEMENTAL CHARMED'  - Celebrating Christmas has been a big part of Piper and Phoebe lives growing up, as their late father Victor always threw the best ones, and neither feels like celebrating this year on the first one without him and wanting to even ditch Christmas eve dinner.

But when the two are off at the mall deciding on last-minute gifts for their family, they end up finding a father who has lost touch with his daughters and is dying of cancer in a year, but a spell to help him out, backfires and sends the three on a little journey through time, as they watch the life of this man with them popping in and out of various times of his life and begin to appreciate just how precious family really is, and realize just how lucky they were to have had a father like Victor, and that they should be honoring him at Christmas not rejecting it. In the process, they end up missing the planned Christmas Eve dinner with Prudence, Patience, and Paige.

Meanwhile, as Prudence, Patience, and Paige wait for Piper and Phoebe to return home, the three investigate a series of strange home invasions in their very own neighborhood, a little-spoiled girl wreaks havoc on Christmas for everyone, all because she wants her step-mother to go away forever and get back at her father for not taking her mother back. The three each decide to teach this girl the true meaning of Christmas with a spell.

Patience is in the process of frantically searching for the perfect gift for her daughters. An old family video of the last ever Christmas they had together before Piper and Phoebe moved away to live with Victor across the country. But can't seem to find it among the still unopened boxes from the girls move to Salem a few months ago.

Edit it, rewrite it, change it! Have another idea for a Christmas story.

I had an earlier idea of Piper & Phoebe turning into children from a spell that backfires when they want to remember the best Christmas they ever had growing up, which brings forth some ghost as well haunting and needing to learn the true meaning of Christmas to move on. But I didn't know where to go with it. If anyone knows how to work that angle, go for it!

I forgot to ask Sasha. What did you consider for that other idea. The thought of no villains period in this episode but a young Piper and Phoebe who still have powers but causing trouble for everyone instead of that little spoiled girl is interesting. Especially if it had some meaning in it for them to want to celebrate Christmas in the end. 

I like the idea you went with too. Since I like Piper and Phoebe returning home learning a lesson and them sitting and watching the family video. The best way to do our version of the ending of 'Thank You for Not Morphing'. 

That makes this Christmas episode a highlight and why I totally love the episode.
