ESMERALDA: WOW! I can’t believe we’re up to TWENTY pages after only a little over a month!

Not that many press releases announcing new episodes to add to this batch, although we have a nice bunch of Deadline press releases courtesy of Pheebs Halliwell.

COLTON: I've loved the Deadline press releases. I'm not sure if I missed any new ones, but I might wait until your another of those great update posts you do to see.

ESMERALDA: Of course a lot of this is thanks to all of the discussions regarding the Wither Pox virus storyline – about the only problem with introducing the skyscraper method of replying to posts. But that’s okay, since this thread is mainly for brainstorming and the skyscraper method is the best way to do that!

COLTON: We have been busy with the discussions on that. But that skyscraper method that was done here, helped make life easier for all to reply.

ESMERALDA: I’ve kept the most recent versions of that story arc here, although there’s always possibilities that thanks to all of the discussions, it could change. I did edit my edits of the Season Two cliffies to reflect what others have said. Although the warlocks still tell the Warrens about the how and why the virus and the antivirus potion affect both witches and warlocks (that gives the Warrens a reason to agree to work with them), how the virus is spread is held off until Season Three.

ESMERALDA: Also, everyone, keep in mind – even though Summer Reading started this storyline, nothing says that others can’t do press releases for episodes that are part of the storyline. But that’s why I’m glad we had standalones in Season One and Two and am hoping we end up moving this storyline to S3/S4 and continue to use standalones in Season Three – it just gives more members more chances to use their own ideas to write their own episodes for ‘Elemental Charmed’ – the reason why we got 50 episodes in a little over a month, halfway to our goal of 100. But, of course, that’s up to everyone else.

COLTON: I think many of us, I know Marlene has admitted she likes standalone episodes to write. Summer and Pheebs seem to do so great at story-arcs.

But I actually think that is a great idea because it does allow new people to join if they want and I think they'll feel more comfortable doing a standalone for a first press release try, not a whole story-arc or adding to one. 

But in saying that, we did plan to do a time travel story in S3, that might be a story arc that is just done in the final episodes of S3. Then it would carry the story-arcs standard into 4 and 5.

PRUDENCE: I do agree, that standalones are better for people to feel comfortable to write a press release for an episode for the first time. It reminds me a little of Ghost Whisperer, they did standalones in S1 and S2, with the exception of two-parters and stories carrying over into another season. Then S3 introduced more plots carrying through a whole season from memory. I'm probably wrong?

ESMERALDA: Also as discussed, while I’m working on this, I’m also going to start a new thread that will let the authors of the episode press releases decide who they want to have as writers for their episode. I’m hoping we stick to the ones we’ve chosen so far: Sheryl J. Anderson, the team of Chris Levinson & Zach Estrin and Paul Ruditis, the ones who most fans agree did the best job writing the sisters as sisters. I like to think that if Connie Burge truly got to be the executive producer of a Charmed reboot – not just the creator – that she would choose the ones who wrote the sisters the most like Connie and her own sisters, and from what I’ve read, these are the ones who did – especially in our alternate universe where she no longer has to answer to male chauvinists Brad Kern, Aaron Spelling and E. Duke Vincent, who cared more about how much tit and ass the actresses could reveal over their characters.

BUT that’s just my reaction. Many TV shows have just one writer for the entire show; many have many. I think too many is what caused all of the infamous inconsistencies in Classic Charmed with each writer seeing the sisters differently. BUT if you’ve written one or more of press releases for the episodes and think a different TV writer (no Buffy ones or Hercules/Xena ones or Supernatural ones, please – Classic Charmed fans are given enough problems from fans of those shows!) would do a better job, feel free. Just please, don’t use any of the names of Charmed Café members – that’s for a fantasy series, not this one, which we’re trying to keep as real as possible, despite me trying to sneak fantasy stuff into some of Pheebs Halliwell’s Deadline press releases!

Just be sure that the ones you choose truly have real TV-writing credits (not movies!) – I’ll be checking and if they don’t have those credits via IMDb, they won’t make it to the next update.

COLTON: Good idea. I think not using any writers from those shows is the best idea possible. I look forward to this new thread.

PRUDENCE: I like this idea, and look forward to seeing what you guys decide to do. Since I haven't written my own press releases yet, I won't be able to contribute to names.

ESMERALDA: You’ll notice one more addition. I’ve added all of the missing episodes with their Season Number, Episode Number and Airing Date. These dates are a combination of the dates Classic Charmed episodes ran (although unlike them, our two-parters are ran in consecutive weeks rather than the same day) and future calendars. Go ahead and use these to add press releases for new episodes!

PRUDENCE: I might take a shot at writing my own. I haven't contributed anything but ideas so far. But I'm not that great at original ideas and plots, but if Sasha can take a dive and come up with something so wonderful. I guess anything is possible.

Elemental Charmed

BACKSTORY:

Prudence Warren, a witch born from a long matriarchal line of witches who have always lived in Warren Manor in Salem, MA, always said everything happens for a reason, but nothing comes without a price…

She has known that she has the Elemental power of Spirit when she started having premonitions as a teenager. While studying to become a doctor, she married fellow witch, Allen Halliwell, and gave birth twice (with Allen agreeing to let their daughters carry the family name of Warren if any son carried his family name of Halliwell). When they grew older, Prudence discovered that her older daughter, Patience, had the Elemental power of Earth, while her younger daughter, Paige, had the Elemental power of Air. When Prudence's premonitions revealed that her two future granddaughters would have the other two Elemental powers of Water and Fire, she realized that her family was destined to become the powerful Elemental Witches. She began training her daughters in the Craft in order to prepare them for what would eventually happen to them and their own daughters, especially after a warlock murdered Allen.

While still a teenager, Paige fell in love with an older man, Sam Wilder. Although Prudence warned her against him so Paige eventually broke up with him, a couple months later she discovered she was pregnant. She gave birth to a daughter, Peyton. When Prudence, Patience, and Paige discovered that Peyton had the Elemental power of Water, and when a couple years later Patience married non-magical Victor Bennett and had their daughter Piper, who had the Elemental power of Fire, the Warren family was certain that those five would become the Elemental Witches with each of Prudence's daughters having one child, who were cousins.

This changed when Sam came back and began influencing his eight-year-old daughter. When Peyton used her firepower to kill a classmate who was teasing her, she became a warlock like her father. Under his influence, Peyton turned on her family and much as it hurt the family, especially Patience, they ended up having to vanquish Peyton, and they were sure all was lost.

But this changed five years later, when Piper was ten and Patience gave birth to Phoebe, who had the same Elemental power as Peyton - Water. After Phoebe was born, Patience and her mother and sister decided to try to protect her daughters from what had happened to Peyton. The three older witches placed a cloaking spell on Victor and the girls before the three of them relocated to the other side of the country in San Francisco. This way the girls could be raised by their father and be protected while also having a normal childhood, something no other Warren witch had ever had.

In order to continue to protect them, Victor raised Piper and Phoebe so they didn't know that they were witches or destined to become one of the Elemental Witches – they were always just his little girls. They even use his last name, Bennett, as their own. They’ve visited their grandmother, mother (who they believed divorced their father, but agreed to let him have custody so that she could live her own life as a forensic photographer for the Salem Police Department) during summer vacations and they always go back to Warren Manor for Christmas.

But as our series begins, Prudence has a premonition showing that Sam is back, going after Piper and Phoebe, so the two are in danger. Paige uses her Elemental power of Air to transport herself, her mother and her sister to her nieces. They're too late to prevent Sam from murdering Victor, but thanks to Prudence's premonition, Patience uses her Elemental power of Earth to throw Sam into a wall before he can harm her daughters. Then Prudence, Patience and Paige use a potion and a spell to vanquish Sam. Seeing the shock in her daughters’ eyes, Patience reveals that she, her mother and her sister are witches with elemental powers – and so are Piper and Phoebe. She lets them decide if they want her to unbind their powers. After seeing what happened to their father, that idea frightens the girls and they decide against this.

Piper and Phoebe try to forget what their mother told them as they help their family prepare their father’s wake and funeral, even as the younger set of sisters consider moving to Salem to be with their family. During the funeral, the whole Warren family remember and mourn Victor through numerous flashbacks.

But when Piper and Phoebe see how their powers can help people, they finally agree to embrace their destiny, and their powers are unbound. They agree to join their mother and aunt, who along with their grandmother who uses her premonitions and knowledge to guide her daughters and granddaughters. The five Warren women are now the Elemental Witches, setting out to protect those innocent of the knowledge of magic from the denizens of evil magic.

THE MAIN CHARACTERS:

Prudence Warren: Aged 70. Much the same as the Grams we know and shake our head at, she's the strict, fiery matriarch of the Warren family. She's very much like Prue Halliwell, initially strict but because she will have suffered fewer losses than the "real Grams" she becomes more mellow and softer. She has the Elemental power of Spirit which gives her premonitions. She was a doctor but is now retired, although now she uses her skills along with potions to heal her family’s injuries.

Patience Warren: Prudence's older daughter, aged 50. Pretty much the Patty we know and love, although even more kind and caring. She functions as the "balance" of the family as Piper was in the classic series, but unlike Piper Halliwell, she is the most selfless person of all and always has time to help those in need, although that often gets her in trouble. Like Prue Halliwell, she's a photographer, but unlike Prue, she works with the Salem police. She has the Elemental power of Earth which allows her to throw anything.

Paige Warren: Prudence's younger daughter, aged 40. Again, she is basically the same as her namesake, except she is Patty's sister, not Piper and Phoebe's. She's sometimes irresponsible and impulsive and not always in touch with reality. Much in the same way Prue would lecture Phoebe at being irresponsible in the classic series, Prudence would be the same with this "Paige". Like Paige Matthews, she's a social worker. Paige has the Elemental power of Air, which allows her to use the wind to move herself and anyone else to wherever she wants to go.

Piper Warren: Patience's older daughter, aged 30. Again much like Piper Halliwell, but rather than being shy, she's very fiery, like later-season Piper without constantly feeling sorry for herself (although she does miss her normal life..,), and because there are no whitelighters, she never falls for one. Like Piper Halliwell, she owns her own restaurant and is a very good cook, so she's the one who makes most of the potions. She has the Elemental power of Fire, which allows her to form and throw fireballs, but like Piper Warren herself, the power isn't evil.

Phoebe Warren: Patience's younger daughter, aged 20. Also much like Phoebs Halliwell (and never like PhoeME Halliwell), but like her grandmother, mother, aunt and sister, the fact that she was born in Warren Manor has nothing to do with whether she can easily turn evil - all five have free will and can decide if they want to do good or evil. Phoebe is still in college and works on the school paper. She has always loved to write and is the one who comes up with most of the original spells. Phoebe has the Elemental power of Water which allows her to freeze molecules.

"Simply ‘Charmed’ Again"

Reboot From Original Creator Gets CW Pilot Orders

For a second consecutive year, the CW has handed out its first two pilot orders to a high-profile reboot of a long-running series from CBS TV Studios.

This time the network has greenlighted a new ‘Charmed’ from the show's original creator, Constance M. Burge. The project will reunite Burge with three of her fellow writing staff: Sheryl. J Anderson and the popular team of Chris Levinson and Zach Estrin. Also joining the project is Paul Ruditis, known for his work on the popular ‘Charmed’ comic series and author of several ‘Charmed’ novels. Burge will act as executive producer while the others will write all of the episodes.

The CW originally tried to bring back ‘Charmed’, one of the signature dramas of predecessor The WB, last season, when it ordered a reimagining of the classic Aaron Spelling series from the same creative auspices. It was to be set in 1976 and feature a new trio of witches. The project was rolled over to this development season.

The new ‘Charmed’ script, penned by Anderson and Ruditis and based on a story by Burge, is set in present time. Per The CW, whose brass greenlighted the pilot shortly after getting the script, “this new dark, dramatic ‘Charmed’ reboot" of the classic series centers on five women, not three, and unlike the classic series, this new take will be incorporating the five elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit).

’Charmed’ Reboot, “Elemental Charmed” signs well-known actresses for key roles

EXCLUSIVE: The new fantasy drama, “Elemental Charmed”, has signed three well-known actresses to play the three older witches.

TBC1, known for playing TBC on ‘TBA’, will play Prudence Warren, the fiery matriarch of the Warren clan, the SpiritHolder, whose Elemental power of Spirit lets her see the future.

TBC2, known for playing TBC on ‘TBA’, will play Prudence's calm, quiet oldest daughter, Patience Warren, the EarthMover, whose Elemental power of Earth lets her throw people and objects.

TBC3, known for playing TBC on ‘TBA’ will play Prudence's younger daughter, quirky, fun-loving Paige Warren, the WindWalker, whose Elemental power of Air lets her transport herself and others.

The other starring roles, that of Patience's two daughters, Piper Warren, the FireStarter, and Phoebe Warren, the WaterBearer, will be played by actresses starring for the first time, and word has it that every young dark-haired actress in Hollywood is hoping for the chance to audition.

If picked up, CBS Studio slates “Elemental Charmed” to start on Sunday, October 14th on The CW, one week after the 20th anniversary of the airing of the cult classic's premiere episode. That episode, 'Something Wicca This Way Comes' will be shown on its twentieth anniversary, the first ‘Charmed’ episode to be broadcasted in remastered HD.

”Elemental Charmed”‘s Executive Producer and Stars On Staying True To The Original and What’s To Come In Season 1 – Comic Con

The executive producer and cast of “Elemental Charmed”, The CW’s dark, dramatic 'Charmed' reboot, took the stage on Day 1 of San Diego Comic-Con following a screening of the pilot episode, written by Sheryl J. Anderson and Paul Ruditis and based on a story by executive producer, Connie Burge. Present today were starring cast members TBC1, TBC2, TBC3, TBC4 and TBC5, along with Burge.

This new version is set in modern times in Salem, MA and follows two sisters who discover that they, along with their grandmother, mother, and aunt, are a family of witches who discover that between protecting those innocent of the knowledge of magic from the denizens of evil magic while maintaining familial bonds, a witch’s work is never done.

“The original was so much about female empowerment and sisterhood and strong women, and I feel like that’s what we need again right now. The writers agreed with me, and Sheryl and Paul did a fantastic job turning my story into a script. Fortunately The CW liked it, too,” said Burge about rebooting the 1998-2006 series she created.

The first episode wasted no time in expanding the concepts of different background experiences and ages, with each of the Warrens coming from a different generation, while featuring a few nods to the WB Network original "Charmed" series.

"We want to be like classic 'Charmed' that lets our viewers check into our series, enter our fantasy world and allow all the troubles in the real world to go away for an hour each week." Burge revealed about what they hope the viewers will take away from the new series. "We believe that will allow our series to still be relevant and fun to watch 20 years from now, just like classic 'Charmed'."

Burge assured that the series will stay true to its predecessor.

“So many people have told me that they loved the original,” she said. ”We thought a new series would be a great way to thank all of the fans who have remained so loyal throughout the years. Originally we wanted to just redo the series, but so many fans will only think of Shannen Doherty playing Prue Halliwell or Holly Marie Combs playing Piper Halliwell or Alyssa Milano playing Phoebe Halliwell along with all the rest, that we decided to change it to this. Thanks to these changes, although it's still deeply rooted in the original, this series will not just be rooted in sisterhood like the original, but also motherhood and family ties of women sticking together, juggling everyday life while also relying on each other to navigate the world we live in today."

Expressing the same sentiments, TBC2 said, “Since Connie created the original, of course we can’t help but be very respectful of the original, which TBC1, TBC3 and I all loved when we were young, but what Connie and the writers really wanted to do was allow other viewers who watched the classic series to be able to watch it with their own daughters and children now, and everyone can relate to one of these women at whatever stage of life they are in. It's a real family show rooted in fantasy.“

As to what’s in store for the Warren family, this season will focus on the bonds between these women and navigating mother-daughter, grandmother-grandchildren, niece-aunty and sister-sister relationships “Piper and Phoebe learning about their powers and gaining more control of their powers,” teased Burge. “The juggling of everyday problems, their jobs or schoolwork for Phoebe with the latest warlock or supernatural attack.”

“Elemental Charmed” debuts October 14th on The CW.

’CHARMED’ 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION SPECIAL SET TO AIR OCTOBER 7TH

A week before the new ‘Charmed’ reboot, “Elemental Charmed” debuts, classic ‘Charmed’ stars Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano will reunite for a special retrospective look at the classic original series ‘Charmed’. The special will premiere on Sunday, October 7th at 9 p.m. ET on The CW, following the rebroadcast of the cult classic's premiere episode, 'Something Wicca This Way Comes', which will be the first ‘Charmed’ episode to be broadcasted in remastered HD.

Although the stars have feuded over the years, they’ve agreed to put that aside for the special as a thank-you present to the fans.

The one-hour special titled "‘Charmed’: 20 Years of Magic" will see the three stars reuniting and reflecting on the legacy of the series, the impact it has on pop culture, and just why now is the perfect time for ‘Charmed’ to return. The special will also showcase some previously unseen footage from popular ‘Charmed’ episodes, and will give viewers a deeper look into the making of “Elemental Charmed”, the new ‘Charmed’ reboot, set to begin the following week.

Everything You Need To Know About The ‘Charmed’ Reboot “Elemental Charmed”

In our exclusive interview with Executive Producer Connie Burge, we dig deep and reveal five secrets from the “Elemental Charmed”.

'Charmed' is one of television’s most iconic series led by female stars, and it is the love for the series that prompted The CW to give it a reboot and specifically ask the original creator, Constance M. Burge, to take on the task of rebooting the series that was originally based on her and her sisters, hence why sisterhood was always so important to the series.

'Charmed' is returning in the fall of 2018, but it isn’t the same Power of Three that fans remember, and while some are adamantly against a reboot, saying that it's much too soon, others are open to it. The new 'Charmed' aims to bring the same female empowerment and entertainment to audiences now as the classic 'Charmed' did during its eight-season run from 1998-2006 starring Shannen Doherty (seasons 1-3), Holly Marie Combs (seasons 1-8), Alyssa Milano (seasons 1-8), and Rose McGowan (seasons 4-8), but with a modern twist. Ahead of the new 'Charmed', here is everything you need to know about “Elemental Charmed”:

5. The Premise

In early 2018, after what seemed like years of rumors about the show coming back, The CW finally announced it had ordered a pilot for a 'Charmed' reboot, specifically asking the original creator of the series to write the story and choose the writers. The logline from the network for the series reads: "Set in Salem, MA, and follows two sisters who discover that they, along with their grandmother, mother, and aunt, are a family of witches who discover that between protecting those innocent of the knowledge of magic from the denizens of evil magic while maintaining familial bonds and outside jobs, a witch’s work is never done. Rather than Halliwell, their family name is Warren, honoring Classic Charmed's Melinda Warren, the first Warren to be born in America. But unlike Classic Charmed, these Warrens really have kept their maiden name...

4. Their Powers

Rather than a Power of Three, we have a unit of five based around the five elements, Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Spirit. Each Warren will be able to tap into her own element, which will allow her to do things that the non-magical and other witches cannot. Their symbol isn't the triquetra but the pentagram.

3. Differences

There are several other distinct changes between the classic and the reboot. While the classic series was based in San Francisco, the new series is set in Salem so it can bring up the infamous witch trials. Also with two sets of sisters - one of one set the mother of the other set - the series will focus on not just sisters, but all types of relationship with mother-daughters, grandmother-grandchildren, and niece-aunt. Although the names will sound familiar: Prudence (never Prue!), Patience (never Patty!), Paige, Piper and Phoebe (never Phoebs), their last name is Warren and Prudence is the matriarch while Patience and Paige are her daughters and Piper and Phoebe are Patience's daughter. They're also each from a different generation: Prudence is 70; Patience is 50; Paige is 40; Piper is 30 and Phoebe is 20. This is quite different from most The CW projects and The CW is very curious to see how it all works out.

2. The Trailer

After announcing the reboot in early 2018, no one expected the series to be ready for the Fall 2018 TV season. But The CW went full steam ahead into development, and on May 17, 2018 the first trailer was released. Warren Manor is noticeably similar to Halliwell Manor, with some slight differences, including an obvious attic and painted grey rather than pink. It first gives us a glimpse of the lives of the three older Warrens before Patience's daughters' father is killed in San Francisco where the younger set lives, leading to the younger set discovering their own powers and their family's destiny as the Elemental Witches.

The trailer not only introduced the new Elemental Witches but also revealed that their own family book of shadows (not The Book of Shadows) still plays a major part, along with the matriarch's premonitions. Also back are warlocks, which will play a much larger part in this new take – in this series, witches who kill non-magicals (not mortals, since the Warrens and warlocks are also mortals) become warlocks and warlocks who save an innocent become witches - and in this series, innocents are non-magicals who are innocent of the existence of magic - and protecting innocents from all sorts of other supernatural evils, including the Demonesses of...

Yes, unlike the classic series, this one is truly female-centric.

1. Premiere Date

Following the release of the official trailer, everyone wanted to know when the series would finally hit the air, and The CW made an interesting decision. “Elemental Charmed” will premiere on Sunday, October 14, 2018, capitalizing off the theme of witches and the supernatural with the fall/Halloween season. Sunday night can be a dangerous choice for a new series, but the network slotted the premiere at 9 p.m. which is prime time, and also placed it after the hit series 'Superwoman', making Sunday nights the ultimate girl-power nights on the network.

‘Charmed’ Reboot “Elemental Charmed” Hits New York Comic Con and also teases the classic ’Charmed's‘ 20-year-anniversary special

EXCLUSIVE: Attendees at this year’s New York Comic Con are going to feel seriously Charmed with an early look at The CW reboot from classic ‘Charmed’s’ creator Connie Burge.

The new version of the late 1990s supernatural sibling WB series is set to debut on October 14th, but I’ve learned that NYCC fans will get to see the first full episode of “Elemental Charmed”, a week beforehand.

Already having previewed at San Diego Comic-Con in July, the slightly-redone Sheryl J. Anderson and Paul Ruditis penned opener that’s screening at the Hammerstein Ballroom on October 7 at 1:30 PM ET has some added significance at NYCC, at least in terms of timing. The preview coincides with the 20th anniversary of classic ‘Charmed’, which first hit the air on October 7, 1998. Also scheduled is a panel with on-screen Warren family members TBC1, TBC2, TBC3, TBC4, and TBC5.

TBC1 who portrays Prudence, the matriarch of the family, has said, ”My first Comic-Con ever I was really nervous. But I'm glad that I have the support of my cast members. I never dreamed that at my age, I'd be a star at these events."

TBC5, who portrays Phoebe, the youngest Warren, was a little more star-struck being in the same room as other well-known names. "I've gone to these events as a fan, and now I'm being greeted by fans. It's so surreal."

Connie Burge has also teased that the upcoming tribute to the classic series set to air on October 7th is going to be wonderful, as in full of wonder. "Sheryl, Chris, Zack (note: the writers of the series who were also writers for classic ‘Charmed’.) and I all sat down and we each contributed some to it. But I'm so excited for fans to be able to see the real star power trio together who are the anchors for the hour-long tribute. We’re also happy that fans will get to see pieces of a few of the episode in HD for the first time."

"I haven’t seen them myself, but I've heard the remasters have come out very nicely,” Burge added, sounding very impressed that fans will get a chance to honor their original work that inspired the new series in true magical style.

Also like SDCC, the core cast of “Elemental Charmed” will be on hand at the screening as well as an autograph session at the sprawling Javits Center later that last day of NYCC 2018 at 3 PM ET.

NEW SERIES PREMIERE — It isn't every day you wake up and discover that you're a witch from a long matriarchal line of witches, but sisters Piper and Phoebe Bennett discover that their somewhat ordinary life of being raised in San Francisco, CA, by their father, Victor, is about to become anything but ordinary.

When their grandmother, Prudence Warren, who has been living on the other side of the country in Salem, Mam has a premonition that a warlock who she had presumed was dead is back, and is going after Piper and Phoebe, she rushes to their rescue. With her are her older daughter, Piper and Phoebe's mother Patience Warren, and her younger daughter, their aunt Paige Warren. They three are too late to prevent the warlock from murdering Victor. Patience reveals to her daughters that their true last name is Warren just like hers, her mothers and her sisters, but the girls grew up with the last name of Bennett to hide the fact that they are witches with bound powers. Their mother gives them the choice to have her unbind their powers. After seeing what happened to their father, that idea frightens the girls and they decide against this.

Piper and Phoebe try to forget what their mother told them as they help their family prepare their father’s wake and funeral, even as the younger set of sisters consider moving to Salem. During the funeral, the whole Warren family remember and mourn Victor through numerous flashbacks.

But when Piper and Phoebe see how their powers can help people, they finally agreed to embrace their destiny, and their powers are unbound. They agree to join their mother and aunt, who along with their grandmother who uses her premonitions and knowledge to guide her daughters and granddaughters. The five Warren women are now the Elemental Witches, setting out to protect those innocent of the knowledge of magic from the denizens of evil magic.

Season 1, Episode 2: 'Back Home Again’

THE WARRENS ARE REUNITED IN SALEM. While still mourning the death of their father and getting used to the idea that they are part of a family of witches with powers, Piper and Phoebe move to their family’s ancestral home in Salem, MA. Piper has sold her restaurant in San Francisco and is now looking for a new restaurant in Salem. Paige thinks she should name it ‘Piper’s Brew’ but Piper doesn’t think that’s funny. In the meantime, Phoebe registers for classes at Salem College, happy that her credits have all transferred. Both decide to follow the family tradition and rather than being Piper Bennett and Phoebe Bennett, they are now Piper Warren and Phoebe Warren.

But not everything goes as well. Piper is used to living in her own apartment and Phoebe has lived in the dorms since she started college. Finding out that they are going to have to share a room, something they’ve never had to do, does not make either happy. But when both run into a warlock and they need their grandmother’s, mother’s and aunt’s help to vanquish her, they realize why Patience and Paige have always lived with their mother.

BIRTHDAYS, HALLOWEEN AND A CURSED VASE — With Halloween approaching, Patience feels like a horrible big sister and a worse mother when she realizes that with everything going on with Victor's death and her daughters moving to Salem, she's completely forgotten her sister Paige's birthday was only a week ago, and her own daughter Phoebe's birthday is only a few days away. With help from Prudence and Piper, Patience decides to turn their Halloween party into a combined surprise birthday party for the two.

While looking in the attic for possible party favors, Piper stumbles on an antique vase. Prudence smiles when she sees it, explaining that it once belonged to their ancestor, Mary Ann Warren, the first Warren to be born in America.

At the party, both Paige and Phoebe are properly surprised, and the party goes well until before Prudence can stop her, Phoebe accidentally reads the inscription on the vase, releasing an ancient curse.

The next day, Phoebe loses her sense of sight in the middle of an important college exam; Piper loses her sense of taste while testing her cooking at work, Paige loses her sense of hearing and can't hear a word her latest client at work says; Patience loses her sense of touch and can't pick up her camera, while Prudence, home by herself, loses her voice so when a warlock attacks, she's unable to call for help.

But Patience has to leave that to her mother and sister when she’s called to take pictures of a new crime scene. This leads her to Phoebe's campus where two teenagers were killed in a demonic-like ritual and a new friend of Phoebe's may be next.

Meanwhile, when two employees give Piper a hard time, Piper contemplates a little harmless spell to get back at them which her aunt, Paige, accidentally encourages, before both realize they’ve made a huge mistake. But Piper learns a valuable lesson from Prudence: all magic comes with a price, and Phoebe promises to learn from her sister’s mistake.

They then wreak havoc on her life, both determined to become the supreme Patience. As her family try to figure out why Patience is acting nothing like herself, the women are shocked to find Patience's dead body, unaware that one of the fake Patiences has killed the other one and is now determined to kill the real Patience and take over her life forever.

SALEM HARVEST FEST '18 — It's time for the annual Salem Harvest Festival, and that means another year of Prudence nagging her family to join in the fun. As they have every year since getting bored of it, Patience and Paige find any excuse to bail out. Since her granddaughters have never gone, Prudence tries to motivate them to join in the fun. Piper agrees to cater the fest and Phoebe agrees to do a story about it for her college paper.

Elsewhere, Paige deals with a new case at social services: a runaway teen, who hasn't come home to her parents. Later Patience is called to the scene of a crime and finds the body of the teen. But her ghost suddenly makes herself known, unaware she is really dead. Prudence has a premonition of an evil spirit known as 'The Soul Collector' going after the teen. She explains to Patience that only on "Harvest Day' can the spirit become corporeal and remain corporeal by collecting a dead soul.

Eventually, the entire family becomes involved, with Prudence and Paige helping the teen resolve issues with her parents, while Patience, Piper, and Phoebe work on finding a way to stop the 'Soul Collector' Piper wants to come up with a potion while Phoebe wants to write a spell. Patience decides it's best if they use both.

Season 1, Episode 10: 'The Warrens Who Saved Christmas'

A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS-THEMED EPISODE - Celebrating Christmas was always a big part of Piper and Phoebe's lives growing up. Although they always spent Christmas with their grandmother, mother and aunt in Warren Manor in Salem, their late father Victor would always throw on the Sunday before Christmas and although they'd never admit it to their Warren relatives, Victor's were always the best since it was always all about Piper and Phoebe, not the rest of the family. So this Sunday before Christmas - the first time they haven't celebrated Christmas with him - has both of them not wanting to celebrate Christmas at all this year and even have them wanting to ditch the traditional Warren Christmas Eve dinner.

But when the two are off at the mall deciding on gifts for their family, they find a father who has lost touch with his daughters and has one year left before he'll die of cancer. The sisters have to help this man. But when they cast a spell that Phoebe writes, it backfires, sending the two of them on a little journey through time, as they watch the life of this man with them popping in and out of various times of his life. It lets them appreciate Victor even more than they already did, but not just Victor, but also their grandmother, mother and aunt. They finally admit that it's just not right that they spoil Prudence's, Patience's and Paige's Christmas, especially when they know how much Patience is also missing Victor. They decide to throw themselves full-heartedly into Christmas.

Meanwhile Patience is going nuts wondering what happened to her daughter, so to try to keep her mind off of it, she goes back to frantically searching for the perfect gift for her daughters on this first Christmas when they're living in Salem.
She knows that somewhere in the attic, there's an old family video of the last-ever Christmas they spent together before Piper and Phoebe moved away to live with Victor across the country. She considers casting a lost and found spell, but Prudence stops her before she does, even as she presents Patience with the video - it's been in Prudence's rom all this time.

Even as they laugh over this, Paige comes running up, complaining about the spoiled little girl next door. She's been wrecking havoc on the whole neighborhood, trying to ruin Christmas for everyone since she wants her dad to be miserable for divorcing her mother and marrying another woman. This little girl hates her stepmother for the very simple reason that she's not her mother. This time the little girl set fire to the Warrens' backyard and the Warrens had to fight it the old-fashioned way since the witch who has power over the element of water - Piper - isn't around.

The three decide to use a spell to teach this girl the true meaning of Christmas. Even as they do, Piper and Phoebe come back. When they tell the others what they've learned, Patience decides to present the girls with the video and they spend the Sunday before Christmas - the day the girls celebrated Christmas with Victor - watching the video.

TWO WARLOCKS, ONE FAMILY, ONE DEEP DARK SECRET — While volunteering at a local senior center with Prudence, Phoebe bonds with Margaret Baker, a kind, gentle and innocent old lady who is known for her card games and stories from her younger years. At the same time, Kathy Baker joins the team at Salem Social Services and when she finds out that Kathy went to the same college, Paige makes quick friends with her.
Meanwhile, while taking pictures at the scene of a murder, Patience learns from the cops that people with the last name of Baker are being killed. She also finds out from a friend of hers who knows her family secret that the Bakers are a family of witches.

What the Warrens don’t know is that neither Margaret or Kathy are actually Bakers – they’re warlocks who are working together. Margaret isn't even an old lady, but using it as a disguise, and Kathy never went to college. Margaret is looking for an old lady in the senior center who witnessed an event that happened many decades ago while Kathy is using SSS to find the other members of the Baker family.

Baker is a common name in Salem and not all Bakers are related and most aren’t witches. Can Patience, Paige and Piper find and protect the rest of the family, and can Prudence and Phoebe figure out who’s the warlock and who’s the witch?

A DETERMINED WARREN, A WORRIED WARREN, A SICK WARREN, A HELPFUL WARREN AND A BLACKMAILED WARREN —A close friend of the Warren family who is also the professor in college who mentored Patience and encouraged her to follow her dreams as a forensic photographer has been killed outside an alley near her apartment building. When Patience uses a spell from their book of shadows to speed up the search process and the spell backfires, Prudence worries about her daughter as Patience's relentless search for the killer is taking a toll on her emotional state. But what can Prudence do that won't count as personal gain and probably backfire itself?

Meanwhile, Piper, who is bedridden sick with a fever, is very anxious about her restaurant, so Phoebe decides to help her sister by filling in for Piper with disastrous results.

Elsewhere, Paige has found herself with her own mystery at work - Bill, one of her coworkers, keeps disappearing and reappearing in odd places around her. Now she's learned that he believes in magic and has been studying Paige for some time and has caught her doing magic. Desperate to join her coven, Bill turns deadly when he demands Paige uses her magic for personal gain in his favor.

During this whole episode, the Warrens learn that magical baddies aren't the only thing they need to worry about - non-magicals can be just as dangerous, just as deadly.

Season 1, Episode 13: 'The Price of Wealth is No Reward for Greed'

MAKING A PACT WITH THE DEMONESS OF WEALTH COMES WITH A HEAVY PRICE — ThePetro family have lived a pretty great life - they run the most successful real estate company in Salem, own lots of properties, and live in a very fancy mansion. But is life as perfect as it seems for the Petro family or is it something too good to be true?

When Prudence - who was the Petro family's favorite doctor back in the day - is invited to an upcoming Pedro engagement party, she puts in a good word for her granddaughter and Piper is hired to cater the party. Prudence's invitation is for her "plus one" and since Patience has been called to take pictures at a crime scene and Phoebe is busy studying for an exam, she decides to bring Paige.

But either strange things happen or maybe it's just bad luck, but the engagement party is called off. But the following morning, Patience first tells them that the victim at last night's murder scene was one of the Petro and then she is called to take pictures at a different scene of a crime. There she discovers that the Pedro family have found out that the time has come to pay for the wealth they have received. Patience finds out that 30 years ago, the family was actually struggling financially, with their real estate business bankrupt and creditors threatening taking it to court, so one of the members made a deal with someone and then overnight things turned around for them.

Patience hurries home to check their book of shadows and finds out that the Demoness of Wealth is behind this and that the deal the Petro family made has started claiming their souls. But the family book of shadows also informs Patience that the family might be able to break the pact if they truly let go of the wealth and greed and do something that benefits others and not themselves. But the Warrens discover that Demoness of Wealth won't give up without a fight.

THE POWER OF PERSUASION IS DEADLY ESPECIALLY IF ONE OF THE WARRENS GETS IN THE WAY OF THEIR AGENDA - While studying in the library for an upcoming test, Phoebe meets Dean Thompson, whose mother worked at the hospital with Prudence before she retired. Phoebe and Dean bond, so when he asks her out, she gladly accepts. But that night, Dean doesn't turn up for their date.

Being stood up upsets Phoebe until the next morning when Patience tells the family about a student named Dean Thompson was found outside the library building. He committed suicide.

As Prudence tries to comfort her friend, she has a premonition showing a college-aged girl telling Phoebe to go jump in a lake and Phoebe not only jumps in the lake, she drowns. Shocked and horrified, Prudence describes the other girl her friend, her friend recognizes her as Stacey Jones, Dean’s extremely jealous ex-girlfriend

The Warrens check their family book of shadows and find out that Stacey must be a warlock with the power of persuasion - the power to control people by giving suggestions. They realize that she must be using her power to get revenge on all the people she thinks hurt or upset her. They guess that she must’ve seen Dean and Phoebe together, got Dean to meet her on top of the library and told him to take a flying leap and he jumped off the building. Phoebe agrees to stay in the Manor with the doors and windows locked until Stacey is neutralized. To be sure, the Warrens cast a protective spell around the Manor that won’t let anyone in.

While looking for the explanation, Piper found the recipe for a potion that will bind powers and brews it in hopes that she can save her sister. But when she gets ready to throw it, Stacey tells her to drink the potion…

Now Prudence has control over the air, Phoebe has control over the earth, Paige has control over fire and Patience and Piper display warlock abilities, while their enemies now have control over spirit and water.

Now the Warrens are left struggling to master their new powers, while the two warlocks use their new powers to have one up on the Warrens, since the power of premonitions works in their favor, nearly killing Piper. Will they be able to cast another Power of the Elemental spell to fix this when they only have control of three of the Elements?

”Elemental Charmed” Renewed for Season Two, Moves To CBS-TV

CBS-TV has picked up its first new series for next season, and it is not that new. After weeks of speculation, “Elemental Charmed” will move from cable channel The CW to its broadcast sister network CBS, which has renewed the fantasy drama for a second season.

The pickup, which comes hours after the most recent deadline for The CW to renew freshman series, will find its new home at CBS-TV, with the likes of other old properties which have in the past few years been rebooted and redeveloped for the CBS audience, especially for those whose cable systems do not include The CW.

An “Elemental Charmed” move to CBS-TV had been rumored for a while, with talks becoming real the last few days. A CBS pickup was contingent on finding a way to produce a show of that scale and since CBS-TV also partners The CW network, the decision to move the series should make for a smooth transition.

CBS-TV had frequently been mentioned as a suitable home for “Elemental Charmed” because the show’s audience tending to skew older than the ones who usually watch The CW, the CBS-TV president's public comments about regretting not going after the project when it was originally pitched, and the fact that CBS-TV is owned by CBS Studio, which also co-owns part of The CW.

This is the complete opposite of what happened a few years back, when ‘Supergirl’ was rumored to be moving from CBS-TV to The CW; this time a series originally aired on The CW is making the move.

Despite the fact that its numbers were consistent for The CW and the series would have still been ordered for a second season, they found that most of their younger core audience wasn't responding to the series, which center around three generations of a family of witches.

Producer Connie Burge explained in an interview: "Although The CW was very supportive of our show, we didn't find it connected with the younger audience, and the network felt this would have meant the series would undergo a revamp in the second season, only featuring TBC4 and TBC5, who play Piper and Phoebe, the youngest members of the Warren family, something we didn't want to do."

TBC1 who plays Prudence, the matriarch of the Warren family, joked to interviewers: ”I was convinced that had the series stayed on The CW, I would be out of a job, because they would have killed me off."

But TBC1 turned serious as she added, "The move will allow the show to still remain the staple it was on The CW; we just found that the audience connected with us older women just as much as they connected with the younger ones. I am really pleased with the move, and look forward to our show telling more great stories about the Warren women."

Burge relieved panicking fans, announcing that "All of the Warrens are coming back for Season Two, the foundation and mythology we set up in our first season will progress in Season Two. We will continue to tell great stories for these Warren women." Burge also hinted that the second season might go deeper into the family lives of the Warrens. We could possibly see some backstories forming from some of the Warrens.

Classic ‘Charmed’ stars Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano to guest star in undisclosed roles for the season finale of “Elemental Charmed”

The former stars of the classic series ‘Charmed’ have both booked guest-starring roles in the series' upcoming season finale set to air May 19th.

Connie Burge, who created the classic series that starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan and is executive producer for the new series, had been considering bringing the former stars onto the show for some time. "I've been trying to find suitable roles for Shannen, Alyssa, Holly, and Rose. But I just couldn't find the right story. But after collaboration with Chris Levinson and Zach Estrin, who co-wrote the season finale, we think we’ve found the perfect roles for them."

Doherty revealed that she was called about appearing in “Elemental Charmed” and admits she was hesitant to take the offer. But after hearing what Burge had planned for her character, and then hearing that Burge had talked to Milano who would also be appearing. Doherty felt the timing was right, and that fans of the classic series would really like what Burge has planned.

Milano told the press: "Just being approached was such an honor. I spent eight years of my life with '‘Charmed’', so this was almost like a high-school reunion, and when I heard Shannen was also going to be a part of it, I really wanted to do it. I haven't worked with Shannen in nearly 20 years, but the two of us have connected through social media for a while and I can't wait to see her again."

Burge mentioned that she hopes that other stars like Holly Marie Combs, Rose McGowan, Brian Krause and Julian McMahon could appear in the series further down the line. "I don't want to overcrowd this series with too many guest appearances, not when we already have five stars. But it's not out of the question."

Doherty and Milano will start filming their scenes for the season finale later in April.

Season 1, Episode 16: 'A Witch By Any Other Name…'

THE WARRENS TEAM UP WITH ANOTHER WITCH CULTURE ON A RESCUE MISSION —Salem is being struck by a crime wave. There seems to be no link between the victims and their cause of death - burning from the inside out. But when Patience takes photos, she can't help but find the markings on the bodies interesting.

Patience investigates the photos of their deaths at the same Paige is helping an immigrant family who have relocated to America recently to find their children. Both searches lead in the same direction - another immigrant most likely from their native country who is imprisoning the children of immigrants.

The Warrens learn that the immigrants have been running away from someone in Kenya for 10 years and are fearing the worst after their friends were killed. Doing some investigating, the Warrens learn that a mob burnt to death at least 11 people accused of witchcraft, forcing the immigrant families to flee, because they are actually witches.

Patience discovers that the burnings are unrelated to the families from Kenya and other Salem witches who tried to help rescue the children but failed from the other family. Reliving the immigrants in the hopes their friends are still alive too.

Prudence gets a premonition that shows the children locked in some abandoned building, still alive.

The other Warrens set out to rescue the children and find the other families. But they are unprepared for what lies ahead and just how dangerous it is when they fall right into a trap.

When the Warrens use the five Elements to find the burial site of the Salem Witches, the spirit of one of the murdered victims suddenly possesses Prudence. The Warrens are unsure which of their ancestors is possessing Prudence and whether she means to harm them or help them.

Although Prudence and Paige decide to stay behind just in case any innocents need saving, Patience decides to make it a mother-daughter bonding experience.

In San Francisco, Piper and Phoebe take a trip down Memory Lane, telling their mother about all the things that happened to them as children in certain places. They wander into an occult shop that always fascinated the girls and Patience is attracted by an old lamp. As she polishes it, she wonders aloud what life would've been like had she raised her daughters with Victor, with the girls still not knowing that they were witches. Suddenly a genie appears and after thanking her for freeing him, he claps his hands and suddenly her husband Victor is back from the dead, and their two daughters have totally forgotten that they are witches.

Patience enjoys having normal family time with Victor and their daughters when suddenly Paige transports in to the shock of Victor and the girls. When Patience finds out that there's trouble in Salem, trouble that requires the Elemental Witches, but two of those witches have no idea they're witches and their powers are bound and she can't unbind them, she learns the hard lesson about being careful what you wish for...

That night, she has a premonition of a darkened silhouette figure with a large broad-rimmed hat entering the room of a little boy at the hospital. Prudence informs her family that the evil they are now facing is known as 'The Shadow Man'. The words bring back bad memories for Paige. When Piper and Phoebe want to know why their aunt has gone pale-white, she reveals that when she was 6 years old, she was a patient in this same hospital and a darkened silhouette shadow wearing a large broad-rimmed hat, entered her room.

Prudence convinces her former staff to let Piper and Phoebe volunteer at the hospital, so they can try to keep their young innocent safe, while Prudence and Patience help Paige come to terms with her childhood memory, while attempting to figure out what went wrong with Prudence's spell to vanquish it so many decades ago.

But when Patience tells her family about it, both Prudence and Paige laugh it off as nothing but a myth that someone used to make money in films and fiction books, especially because if this witch had truly killed children, the legend would be about a warlock, not a witch. But when Patience tells her family that people have been murdered at the same time in the same place every year, for the last 50 years, the laughter turns into curiosity. They decide to investigate and prove whether this legend is real or not.

To their surprise the Blair Witch isn't a witch or even a warlock at all, but the spirit of a wailing child. This young boy has been haunting the local camp at the same time every year for the past 50 years.

Patience's investigation takes her to a local cabin deep in the woods, where she crosses path with another suspicious female resident in the cabin who vanishes when she enters. To her surprise, she receives a vision of the past that reveals that the female in the cabin was the mother of the young boy, who drowned her child.

When Prudence has a premonition of the mother killing Patience, the Warrens have to figure out how to rescue Patience, and reunite the young boy and his mother reunited so they can cross over.

24 HOURS OF REVEALED TRUTHS AND SECRETS — While still in Philadelphia, even though Andrea is making a speedy recovery, Prudence and Patience decide to stay for an extra few days just to be sure she is okay. Feeling better, Andrea thinks it's the perfect time for her and Prudence to reconnect with their old coven, a coven Prudence joined in the 70's, not long after Prudence was married to Andrea's twin brother and Patience's father, Allen Halliwell.

Later that night at dinner, Patience gets to hear all sorts of stories about her mother and aunt for the first time. But the following morning, Pauline, one of the coven, is found murdered in her home, and when Patience is accused of the murder, her former coven is out for vengeance.

Prudence and Andrea try to convince the coven that Patience is innocent until they learn that someone is making Patience believe she's the one who killed Pauline. The two need to find out which coven member did it and why.

Meanwhile, back in Salem, Piper and Phoebe decide to cast a truth spell, which will convince Paige to tell them who is her favorite niece. But when Paige reveals that she loved Phoebe from the first moment she was born because she reminded her of her own daughter, Peyton, Piper becomes upset and vulnerable and hurt, especially since she remembers what Peyton did. She doesn't want to think of Peyton when she looks at her younger sister.

When Paige discovers what her nieces have done, she first casts a spell to make them forget what she told them, then uses the truth spell to help her clients at Social Services, while Piper learns the hard way what her employees really think of her, and Phoebe writes the story of the year for the college paper.

However, when Piper learns something that makes her think that one of her employees is a warlock, they all learn that sometimes learning the truth might do more damage than good.

IS PIPER'S EMPLOYEE REALLY A WARLOCK? — Piper's paranoia about one of her employees being a warlock annoys Paige and Phoebe so much that Phoebe convinces Piper to look in their family book of shadows, but when they flip through it, looking for a warlock test, they find nothing. But finding a spell to hear private thoughts, they cast it. To their surprise, they can not only hear each other's thoughts, they can also hear their aunt Paige's.

Unfortunately, the spell reminds the sisters that Phoebe is Paige's favorite because she reminds her of her daughter, Peyton, which causes much tension between Piper and Paige. But thanks to the spell, Piper finds out that Paige regrets what her daughter did, just as much as Piper does, and in seeing Phoebe makes Paige think of what Peyton might have been like had she not become a warlock. Realizing that she feels the same way, all three are happy to discover that the spell cast might has actually brought all three closer, repairing Paige and Piper's relationship.

Finding out what her nieces did, when Piper's paranoia over her employee returns, Paige adjusts the spell and casts it on herself so she can hear anyone's thoughts, something she can regulate through her Air elemental. They hurry to Piper's restaurant where the employee's thoughts convince all of them that she's not the warlock - one of the other employees is and he's getting ready to set the restaurant on fire and kill all. The three must find a way to stop him with only three of the Elementals.

Meanwhile in Philadelphia, Prudence and Andrea have convinced Patience that she didn't kill Pauline. Even though they still don’t know who did the murdering, they relax. Patience wants to hear more stories of Prudence and Andrea’s fun times back in the 60's and the two older women comply. But suddenly Prudence is transformed into her 19-year old self. When she finds out that the world has changed, and her husband is dead, she is determined to bring Allen back from the dead, while Patience and Andrea need to figure out how to get 70-year-old Prudence back.

”Elemental Charmed” EP & Writers & Cast On What's to Come

The cast and executive producer of CBS's “Elemental Charmed” made their way to the Dolby Theater in Hollywood for PaleyFest 2020. Before they stepped onstage for a panel discussion led by Entertainment Weekly’s Samantha Highfill, the audience members were treated to a preview screening of the last episodes of the season. Audience members were given a highlights reel of various episodes with 3 minutes of footage, including the beginning of the season finale storyline, which left audience members gasping in surprise.

Sitting onstage were TBC1, TBC2, TBC3, TBC4 and TBC5, along with Exec Producer Connie Burge.

While there was no official word on the series' future, currently in its 2nd season, Burge hinted at a strong possibility that a Season Three renewal announcement was on the horizon. When asked about the introduction of story arcs in Season Three as compared to the standalone episodes used in Seasons One and Two , Burge responded, “That we will visit it next season if we get another season. We’re talking about expanding the show into more serialized stories and less episodic.” This made the crowd erupt in cheers, putting a smile on Burge's face.

Also suggesting more seasons to come, when Burge was asked about how she feels the show has done following its move to CBS from The CW last year, she said, “We knew it was a decision that would benefit everyone, and the response has been met with nothing but praise, and CBS is behind us all the way. Right now it's just the normal television procedures on waiting for a renewal, nothing new."

A Season Three renewal would come as no surprise as the series continues to be a sturdy ratings performer — linearly and digitally– for the network. CBS President Charles Smith has stated that the show will carry on as long as the actresses want to do it and this show has so much more to offer. Judging from the exchange of adoration and gratitude for each other and the show during today’s talk (“There are many reasons why I still truly enjoy doing this show. I mean we're only in our second year, the training wheels have come off and we're ready to grow,” said TBC2), it doesn’t seem like the cast is ready to hang up their book of shadows just yet.

Season Three aside, the stars offered some tidbits on what’s to come as the current season wraps production in exactly seven days.

"We have such an incredible storyline to end the season," teased TBC3. "My character Paige is involved in a storyline that really challenges me as an actress."

“Paige is okay,” Burge assured fans. “I think Paige has lots of issues she needs to work out. We have touched on her daughter, and bits and pieces of the backstory surrounding the Warrens and I'm so excited for our third season, of course, if we're picked up. Because if we are, next year would be very much a season of secrets and past revelations and we're hoping to dabble in a little time travel too."

“Fan favorite TBC6, who plays Prudence's sister-in-law Andrea Halliwell, will also be returning next year. With the stories we want to tell and because Andrea doesn't live in Salem, we have to be creative in how we use her. She won't be back for any more episodes this season, but we hope she appears at least once each season. We've had so much fun exploring Philadelphia this season, and it was really fun to do several episodes that included Warrens in Salem at the same time other Warrens were in Philadelphia. But I'm most excited to see more of her. But I'm most excited to see more of her, I just never want to make the mistake of overusing her. The story is always going to star the five Elemental Warrens. That is what will always be the most important part of our series.

Back on the show's upcoming season finale storyline, the preview reel showed what appears to be our usually very calm Patience becoming very aggressive over the smallest disagreement with her mother Prudence. Also in the reel was a very different Paige who was not her usual self. The reel then showed these two Warrens collapsing on the floor, with Prudence frantically flipping through their family book of shadows. There were various clips from other episodes, but these clips proved to be the most talked about.

Burge teased, "There is a very good reason for the way Paige and Patience are acting. Let's just say we're going to be introducing a new villain who will be a big part of the storyline and the Warrens are going to be mixing with warlocks like never before. Something we haven't done so far in the series. I'm really looking forward to it. Because it will be a life and death situation that won't just affect just the Warrens - it will bring all witches and warlocks together like never before".

“Elemental Charmed” airs Sundays on CBS.

CBS-TV Renews “Elemental Charmed” for Third Season

“Elemental Charmed” will be returning, proving that third time's a charm. The third season renewal will again be for an order of 22 episodes, just like the previous

The series renewal was considered a no-brainer. Having moved from The CW to CBS, many were very nervous. But CBS-TV President Charles Smith stated, "The show has done very well this year, and been a sturdy ratings performer — linearly and digitally – for the network. I'm thrilled that the cast and crew of “Elemental Charmed” will be back to tell more great stories and continuing the magic."

Burge said the announcement came as no surprise since CBS has supported them and backed up and believed in them. 'Although I was still was very much in that 1% of doubt, I knew it was just a normal television procedure. I'm very excited to get back into the writing room and for us to start plotting Season Three. Because I know Sheryl and Paul have been itching to write a particular storyline for some time. But we just didn't think earlier was the right time to do it."

Sheryl J. Anderson and Paul Ruditis wrote the original pilot, along with the Season One finale and Season Two premiere and are scheduled to write the Season Two finale, so they would be expected to write the Season Three premiere.

TBC5, who plays Phoebe, was very happy to hear about the renewal. "When I got the call, the first thing I did was tell my mother, who I know is a big fan, having watched every episode of the classic series while I was still much too young to watch until I saw her DVDs as a teen. But she's since followed this series and has always been my number one supporter. She's the one who encouraged me to audition for this series."

The news comes one week following the show's trip to PaleyFest 2020, which previewed a highlight reel with upcoming storylines, and teased a life-and-death situation could rock the Warrens forever.

CONTINUAL TOUCH OF A FLOWER CAN KILL — It's springtime in Salem, and Prudence tends the Warren family garden of herbs by doing some much-needed spring planting. She asks Phoebe to go into town for some groceries and also stop at the local Wicca herbs and spices stores for more magical needs.

Phoebe finishes her list and is about to head for home when she notices a new flower shop has just opened across the street. Inside, a young woman raves about a certain 'Isaac Flower'. Seeing it, Phoebe is fascinated by it, but when she brings it home and sets it on her windowsill, she can't stop touching it and each time she does, she feels weaker. Little does she know, each time she touches it, it drains more of her energy.

The next morning, the store delivers free sample of the Isaac Flower to both Piper's restaurant and Salem Social Services and the flowers affect Piper and Paige the same way. But it’s not just them. Piper’s employees and customers and Paige’s fellow social workers and their clients are suffering the same effects.

Fortunately when Patience presents Prudence with one of the flowers, Prudence recognizes it and stops her daughter before she can touch it.

Checking their family book of shadows, Prudence and Patience learn that the young woman selling the Isaac Flower is a warlock trying to use the energy trapped in the Isaac Flower to revive her mother, who was cursed a long time ago to remain in a slumber state and become one with the flowers. Doing some more research in other books, the two Warrens discover that a century ago, this warlock endangered the local forests of Salem by harming the wood nymphs.

Although the nymphs are invisible to all humans, including witches, thanks to her Elemental Power of Earth, although Patience can’t see the nymphs, she can hear and communicate with them.

But will the nymphs be willing to help when time is running for the citizens of Salem, including Paige, Piper and Phoebe who are affected by the Isaac Flowers? The warlock has put them all in trances, and summoned them to her garden. There they each present the warlock with their Isaac Flower. Even as the victim drops to the ground in a faint, the warlock transfers the energy in the flowers to her mother, hoping to break the curse by reviving her mother from her slumber.

THE START OF THE TWO-PART SEASON FINALE —It’s summer and, surprisingly, the Warrens have continue their lives without any supernatural interferences. Phoebe has been interning at a local Salem newspaper; Patience and Paige are on their annual summer leave from work and are spending a month together in Florida. Piper is in the process of hiring a new manager after her old one decided to start one of her own, and as usual, Prudence spends her time in her garden when she’s not at a number of not-for-profit organization.

But when Patience and Paige return from their vacation, something is very different about them – both are usually the most level-minded, gentle people you’d know, but now Patience, of all people, is having violent tendencies and Paige is being aggressive over the smallest disagreement. To top it off, when attempting to rescue an innocent from a warlock, both Patience and Paige act like they don't care, and when it’s time to use their powers, both of them can’t use them properly.

Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe wonder if they truly just don't care and are faking it, or something else happened on the vacation to cause the change. The three manage to save the innocent without being able to vanquish the warlock. But when they return home (and they have to walk since Paige can’t/won’t transport them), both Patience and Paige collapse on the floor.

Prudence rushes to treat them, but one look and she hurries to the family book of shadows and confirms her suspicions: Wither Pox. This very rare virus doesn’t affect non-magicals but weakens a witch’s or a warlock’s powers over time so that eventually the powers cease to exist. The book also explains that the more their powers weaken, the more they will show very violent or aggressive tendencies, which usually leads to them killing the people they love. The book adds that nobody has been able to figure out how Wither Pox is transmitted from one witch or warlock to another.

Later, the warlock they were trying to stop shows up at the Manor with two members of her warlock coven. The other members explain that she’s showing early signs of Wither Pox and when they found out that Patience’s and Paige’s powers didn’t work, they figured that they were the source, but won’t tell how or why they know. Now the warlock coven wants to make an alliance with the Warrens to find a potion that will stop Wither Pox from destroying all witches and warlocks forever. But in order to do that, both parties must agree to try to destroy the other.

Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe exchange glances. They know that they can’t trust a warlock, especially a coven of them, but the look that Prudence gives her granddaughter tells them that she knows of no way to save her daughters. So the three of them are left with a choice: Do they work with a coven of warlocks or do they vanquish them anyway and try to find another solution?

Season 2, Episode 22: ’Will their Powers Wither?' (Part Two)'

WILL THE WARRENS’ DECISION COME BACK TO HAUNT THEM? — Prudence, Piper, and Phoebe have decided to make a temporary alliance (although, of course, they will never totally trust them) with their warlock foes in the hopes that all sides can find a antivirus that will cure Wither Pox.

The first step is for the Warrens to find out how Patience and Paige were first infected while the warlock coven tries to find the source of the disease. Wanting to find out what her daughters know, Prudence has Piper make a potion that will numb Patience’s and Paige’s pain. Piper warns her grandmother and sister that it potion will only last so long before the effects take over, but Prudence says that’s okay, since they only need a little time.

After hearing how Patience and Paige tried to vanquish a demoness who was harming an innocent and then they started feeling strange, Prudence realizes their enemy is the Demoness of Destruction. Phoebe is all set to hurry off to Florida and force the Demoness of Destruction to reveal how to stop the virus, especially when the warlock coven arrives, announcing that they have discovered where the demoness is – on an island off of Florida – the Warrens never would’ve found her on their own.

But Prudence wants to stay behind so she can tend to her daughters by keeping them sedated so they won’t harm anyone, and Piper and Phoebe don’t want to leave her alone, especially because she’ll also be tending the sick warlock – part of the deal. So because Prudence needs Piper to continue to make the sedation potion, Phoebe agrees to accompany one of the warlocks to Florida.

This warlock has the power to transport, which is very similar to Paige’s, the reason he was chosen. He transports Phoebe and himself to an island near Florida that the warlocks have used their powers to track the Demoness, while Prudence and Piper and the other warlock stay behind to tend to Patience, Paige and the sick warlock.

Upon arriving in Florida, they find the Demoness of Destruction but that’s when Phoebe finds out she’s been double-crossed and this is a trap – the warlock coven previously made an alliance with the Demoness in hopes of just saving the warlock race while eliminating all witches forever. Now even if Prudence finds a way to save her daughters, Phoebe’s death would mean the demoness and the warlock wouldn’t have to worry about the Elemental Witches stopping them. When Phoebe points out that if Wither Pox destroys all witches, it will also destroy all warlocks, the Demoness starts laughing. She explains that when a witch becomes a warlock, the witch's DNA is changed, just like it's changed when a warlock becomes a witch, and Wither Pox affects the DNA. She has an antivirus that will cure warlock DNA but not witch's DNA, the reason why the Demoness concocted the Pox to begin with.

Meanwhile Prudence receives a premonition of Phoebe’s death, but when she tries to phone her granddaughter to warn her, she gets no answer.

Will Prudence and Piper find a cure so they can use Paige’s transportation power to go save Phoebe, or will the warlocks succeed in wiping out all witches forever?

”Elemental Charmed” Reveals First-Look Photos of Classic Charmed Stars in Guest Star Roles.

"Since the relationship between Mary Ann and Jenna Warren is a big part of the first episode of Season Two, we wasted no time exploring just what went down during the Witch Trials, and how Mary Ann died,” “Elemental Charmed” executive producer Constance M. Burge noted, adding that the first episode of the new season “really explore” what drove these two sisters to go from best friends to bitter enemies.

“You'll find out right away just who has taken possession of Prudence, and we waste no time resolving the cliffhanger,” Burge shared. “I really love how Sheryl and Paul tied in the past and the present. Sheryl did that so well with the episodes she wrote for Classic Charmed - many are fan favorites, that I was thrilled when she suggested doing it again for our first cliffhanger and Season Two premiere.”

“It’s challenging to write episodes when you know you have such a star power duo like Shannen and Alyssa, because both were such a fundamental part of the classic “Charmed” series,” noted Paul Ruditis, who wrote both the two-part episode that ended Season One and concludes in Season Two's opening episode with Sheryl J. Anderson.


On getting to film alongside Doherty again, Milano replied, "Getting to work again with Shannen was such a wonderful experience, especially since I hadn't seen them since we filmed classic “Charmed” way back in 2001. When we filmed our parts for the season finale, we went right back into it as if nothing has changed. But we've both grown so much over the years, and it showed in our approach to acting. We've both gained new experiences and insights. Although this was our second episode together, it was right back to business as usual, without the formal re-introductions we had filming the season finale back in April."

Doherty remarked to the press on how much fun she had with her new character: “But it’s also exciting for Alyssa and me to have the opportunity to play around with these new characters. I really couldn't be happier with Jenna's character. She's exactly the type of character I love to play, but never really got to play as Prue Halliwell. I'm so excited that Connie let Alyssa and me be a part of “Elemental Charmed” for these two episodes."

TBC3, who grew up in the '80s and '90s watching shows that Milano and Doherty starred in, said she was so nervous when the two came onto the set back in April. "When they first came onto the set, I was speechless, unable to figure out what's the first thing I should say. I looked over at TBC2 and went, 'Can you believe who's on set?'

TBC2 laughed. 'I looked at her and was sure she was about to pass out. So I greeted them first and TBC3 actually called Shannen 'Prue' and we all laughed and that broke the ice and after that we were all fine."

Burge noted that she hasn't decided if they will reappear in any more episodes. "We just plotted these two episodes to close out Season One and open Season Two. I haven't closed the door completely. But I don't want them to steal the attention of our stars, and they made it clear that neither do they, remembering how that happened during classic “Charmed”. I don't see them returning any more than one or two times a season."

Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano will appear in the first episode of the second season to kickstart its move to CBS-TV from The CW on Sunday, Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019. The series will still air at 8-9 PM Eastern, just like it did on The CW, so fans who still want to watch 'Supergirl' on The CW can.

”Elemental Charmed” Exec Producer Breaks Down Finale Cliffhanger and Teases What's to Come

The following contains spoilers from the Season Two finale of CBS-TV's “Elemental Charmed”

A year ago we saw “Elemental Charmed” prepare to leave The CW for CBS-TV, and no one knew how that would work out. Come one year later, and the show has gained so much success and already has a third season in the works. But in the Season Two cliffhanger, three of the Warrens' lives hung in the balance, since they were infected with the Wither Pox virus, leaving Piper and Prudence suffering the worst of times. Fans everywhere wondered if this was a flashback to classic “Charmed's” Season Three finale which saw Prue and Piper Halliwell dying while Phoebe was trapped in the Underworld and led to the departure of Shannen Doherty. The fans worried that last season's cliffhanger would mean the departure of another beloved star, this time Phoebe Warren in “Charmed’s” reboot “Elemental Charmed”.

Here, “Elemental Charmed’s” executive producer, Connie Burge, talks about the how she and writers Sheryl J. Anderson, Paul Ruditis, Chris Levinson and Zach Estrin constructed what will be the show's first major story arc of the series and just how it went from being a standard two-part season finale/season premiere into one huge plotline that will carry into next season.


DEADLINE | First things first, talk about the decision to end the season of “Elemental Charmed” like that with the fate of Phoebe a mystery...

Look, my main job as executive producer is to keep people coming back. So when we planned our first season, we ended on a cliffhanger, and we hoped to do that again this season. Leaving the fate of Phoebe up in the air was the perfect way to do that, along with getting viewers to wonder if Patience and Paige will keep their powers or lose them to Wither Pox. It was just that the story Sheryl, Paul and I were telling went from being the Season Two finale to both the Season Two finale/Season Three premiere, and then Chris and Zach came up with a whole web of stories, so now we have a whole storyline going into Season Three.

We always talked about potentially turning the series from episodic to serialized starting with our third season, just like what happened on classic “Charmed”. The point of our first couple seasons was to introduce our five Warrens, let viewers get to know them and their powers and their jobs by doing all of our wonderful standalones with them, but then branch out and build on the mythology. This will let us do that.


DEADLINE | So you are saying you are ditching the episodic element for good.

No. No. No. I won't kill what obviously has worked so well for us. The episodic stories will still have a place on our show. We're just going to find a way to mold both together and expand on having more episodes that connect from one episode to the next.


DEADLINE | Let's move on to the Wither Pox virus that is affecting both witches and warlocks. Everyone wants to know how Patience and Paige caught the virus. Will we find out how it's transmitted from one person to another?

Yes. That is something you will definitely find out, but I warn that it's a question that won't be resolved until we return for Season Three. When Sheryl and Paul were plotting the two-parter, it was originally going to be revealed during the second half of our two-parter. But when Chris and Zach came up with the idea of extending it into a full story arc and they came up with all sorts of ideas of what we could do with it, we decided that if we're going to be turning this into a much bigger story arc that runs through multiple episodes, we wouldn't want to reveal everything so soon.


DEADLINE | What was it like watching Patience and Paige act so unlike the level-minded and gentle people we've all come to know and love?

We knew when we created the Wither Pox virus that it would have side effects, and I knew that it had to have consequences for our Elemental Witches. Patience having violent tendencies and Paige being aggressive over the smallest disagreement with her family, that they almost risk killing their innocent was the perfect way to do it. And TBC2 and TBC3 were simply amazing while having the times of their lives playing totally different characters. When I saw the dailies in the editing room, I couldn't be more happy with what they did with it.

DEADLINE | What can we expect to see when we return in Season Three? Can you give us three words to describe the first episode of Season Three?

Deadly! Horrifying! Unthinkable!


DEADLINE | Lastly, three bits of housekeeping: First and most important to a lot of fans: Are Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano returning?

(laughs) You guys will keep hounding me to bring them back. (becomes serious) We've talked about possibly finding a way to work them in once a season. We already had them in two episodes: the end of Season One and the start of Season Two. It will be a question we'll talk more about when breaking Season Three in the writer's room when we go back to work. But it isn't something we want to do just because it's Shannen and Alyssa; we want it to feel when the story is right for Mary Ann and Jenna Warren to appear.

DEADLINE | Second: Will there be a time jump when we return in Season Three? So many fans didn't like how classic “Charmed” did a time jump from the end of Season Three to Season Four. To this day there are fans who think there's a scene or two missing. Will that happen here on “Elemental Charmed”?

No. Just like we did when we went from Season One's cliffhanger to Season Two's season premiere, we'll pick up right where we left off in Season Two. We have no intention nor does it make sense to jump forward. We're in the midst of a virus that is spreading among witches and warlocks and Phoebe might be dying. I'd like to think we'd show you everything.

DEADLINE | Finally, will the fate of Phoebe be left hanging for too long?

I will leave this interview with one definite truth and that is that Phoebe's fate will be addressed almost immediately when Season Three begins. We wouldn't want to leave our viewers hanging for much longer than that. I won't spoil it and tell you what her fate will be, but yes, you will find out what happened to her.

'Elemental Charmed" was renewed for a third season last month and is expected to premiere sometime in the fall, probably October.

Season 3, Episode 1: 'How Will We Survive Our Summer Vacation with a Virus, a Demoness of Destruction, Warlocks, and a Missing Warren?'

PHOEBE’S FATE IS REVEALED AND WILL ANDREA MAKE THE ULTIMATE CHOICE? In an island off of the coast of Florida, inside an old abandoned cabin, the Demoness of Destruction smiles down at Phoebe. We can't tell if she's just unconscious or if she's already dead. We can tell that the warlock with the transporting power is now dead, showing that the Demoness is not one to be ever be trusted.

Back in Salem, Andrea finally arrives and reveals she has been dealing with a similar outbreak of Wither Pox in Philadelphia, and the powers of one of the witches in her own coven have already ceased to exist. The remaining uninfected members of the coven have gone into hiding. Prudence and Piper reveal that they are still unable to contact Phoebe and are worried silly.

With time running out for Patience and Paige and the infected warlock to lose their powers, the Demoness of Destruction arrives with the cure. She first uses it to cure the infected warlock, then turns to the Warrens. She refuses to reveal Phoebe's fate, but only offers the Warrens a chance to cure Patience and Paige - but only if the entire family become warlocks by killing an innocent. If they do that, she'll also let them find Phoebe - either alive or dead.

No Warren would ever agree to those terms, so after warning them that their refusal has sealed their family's fate, the Demoness shimmers out, followed by the two warlocks transporting out as do the two warlocks.

Moments later Patience sits up and then jumps up from the couch, aggressively demanding that they go find and rescue her daughter. As she storms towards the door, the only way Piper can think to stop her is to form a low-power energy ball and throw it at her mother. It only knocks Patience down without actually hurting her. In anger, Paige jumps up, helps Patience up, glares at Piper and then teleports the two out, even though she knows that using her power will just hasten her losing it. But it's a risk Paige is willing to make since Wither Pox has affected her so badly that she's not thinking straight.

To top it off, no sooner are they gone than Piper starts showing signs of being infected with Wither Pox. This is when the Warrens realize that if you use your power against someone who's affected with Wither Pox, you yourself become infected.

Just when Prudence doesn't think things can get worse, they do. She receives her the most horrifying premonition of her life - again she sees Phoebe's death, but this time she sees Patience is the the one who killed her while Paige watches!

Prudence and Piper know they must put their heads together and find a cure for witches as soon as possible - but will they succeed in time to save their family?

Season 3, Episode 2: 'The Search for Phoebe Warren'

CAN PRUDENCE AND AN INFECTED PIPER STOP PATIENCE FROM DOING THE UNTHINKABLE? — Patience and Paige arrive in Florida, starting their hunt to find Phoebe. Paige can feel that she's at the very end of her powers, and one more time transporting will most likely make them cease to exist.

It takes a while with a lot of false leads, but they finally locate the cabin and confront the Demoness of Destruction, who doesn't even try to stop them from saving Phoebe. Both Patience and Paige are so affected by Wither Pox that they don't even wonder why.

When Phoebe awakens, she is so very happy to see her mother and aunt. But when Paige sees the Demoness holding a vial, her new aggressive nature caused by Wither Pox takes over. Hands clawed, ready to scratch the Demoness' eyes out, she rushes towards her, and when Phoebe tries to freeze the Demoness, the Demoness drops the vial, breaking it. Smirking, the Demoness of Destruction shimmers out. Paige yells at Phoebe for ruining everything; Patience yells at Paige for yelling at her daughter and a huge argument breaks out with Phoebe trying to settle them down, but that only makes the argument worse.

Back at the Manor, Prudence, Piper (now affected) and Andrea are frantically flipping through the family book of shadows, they come up with the idea that because it affects a witch's DNA, that if the witch strips her powers completely, which would still keep her with a witch's DNA since that never changes regardless if they strip away their powers or not, could be the cure - but it has to be an unaffected witch.

Andrea decides that if they have any hope of finding a cure, she'll be the test subject because no Elemental Witch should give up her powers to do so.

Will this cure work long enough for them to save Phoebe's life and stop Patience from accidentally killing her own daughter, or will it just needlessly strip Andrea of her powers?

HAPPY(?) HALLOWEEN, WARRENS! - It's Halloween time in Salem and the town has a festive celebration each year, which features a cornucopia of Halloween-like experiences from Family Film Nights to ghost tours and haunted houses. But the Warren family discover that this Halloween will be anything but just a normal day of celebrations - it's actually a trap.

When the veil between worlds thin on Halloween, the spirits of both Sheriff George ‘The Strangler’ Corwin and Giles Cory return, coming back for revenge against witches. They haunt the former Joshua Ward House, now a hotel that has been transformed into a haunted house theme for the Halloween night. Sheriff George sets a siren that will lure any witch into the hotel, and once they're there, they can't leave. He's determined to traps all witches inside the hotel and then burn down the hotel, which will also free his and Cory's spirits.

As the Warrens struggle to fight off the spirit of Sheriff Corwin, a third spirit, a female who died on the property makes herself known. The spirits of Mary Ann and Jenna Warren (special guest stars Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty) make the scene crossing through the veil between worlds. The Warrens think they're back in order to help their descendants out. Unfortunately, Jenna is there to make things worse instead of better.

SALEM CELEBRATES 250TH FOUNDERS' DAY WITH A SPECIAL AWARD FOR A WARREN— As the Warren family, including Prudence's sister-in-law, Andrea Halliwell, get ready for the 250th Founders Day celebrations for Old Salem, their ancestor, Mary Ann Warren, uses the spirit board to send a dire warning - someone is going to try to change the Warren family history forever. Before the Warrens decide what to do about this, Piper and Phoebe are pulled into the past. The older Warrens are devastated, wondering what has happened to Piper and Phoebe. Unknown to them, the three of them are turning evil, finding themselves using their newfound evil powers for personal gain. Suddenly Andrea finds herself the target of a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

Meanwhile, in the past, Piper and Phoebe are greeted by the family of another one of their ancestors who explain that they are being hunted down by warlocks, descendants of Jenna Warren. Can Piper and Phoebe stop whoever is trying to change their family history with only two Elemental Witches?

Season 4, Episode 5: 'The Roaring Twenties Over and Over and Over Again!'

AN ANTIQUE CAMERA, AN EVERLASTING TIME LOOP AND A MYSTERY IN THE 1920s — During the summer, Phoebe has been interning at a local Salem newspaper. On the first day of her last week before she returns to school, her editor offers her a challenge: if she comes up with a killer article before the end of the week, she'll put it on the cover. Phoebe knows that putting a cover on her resume woul work wonders when she goes job-hunting after she earns her degree in a few years, besides ensuring her another chance at interning the following summer.

She decides to do her article on the history of Salem – the good parts of Salem rather than the witch trials that most Americans know about. She even begs her mother for the use one of her old antique cameras to capture the style of an old-time photo to go along with her article. Patience doesn’t want anyone but her to use the camera but agrees to help her daughter by taking the pictures herself. But when Phoebe directs her to take a photo in downtown Salem and Patience snaps the shuttle, both Patience and Phoebe literally disappear into thin air, leaving behind the camera.

When they find themselves taking a similar picture, except back in the 1920’s, suddenly they find themselves back in the 2020’s, unable to prevent themselves from doing this yet again. They realize that they are stuck in an everlasting time loop with no way of stopping it.

Elsewhere, as the family prepares to enjoy their weekly family dinner at Piper’s restaurant, Prudence, Paige and Piper become worried when Patience and Phoebe do not show up. The three Warrens eventually find the camera, and when Prudence touches the camera, she gets a premonition of the past, which shows Patience and Phoebe in the 20s. Realizing that Prudence never sees the past, but only the future, they realize that Patience and Phoebe are caught in an everlasting time loop. This is especially true when Patience and Phoebe suddenly return, take the picture and then disappear.

The other three Warrens hurry home, heading straight to their book of shadows for both answers. They find a way to break the everlasting loop which will let them rescue Patience and Phoebe, but it can only be done by making Patience and Phoebe stay and experience the Roaring 20’s past midnight, and that can only happen if they can get the camera away from Patience so she can’t take a picture in the past. Only then will they be returned to their own time and be able to stay. But the only Warren who can freeze molecules is Phoebe…

AN EVIL PRESENCE IS AMONG THEM — Andrea is missing her brother, Allen Halliwell, on their 70th birthday. Her coven decide to give her a very special birthday present by summoning him. Although he appears, the spell also allows another spirit to cross over and this one only wants evil for Allen’s wife’s family, the Warrens.

Prudence, Patience and Paige arrive to celebrate the twins’ birthday, both Andrea’s in Philadelphia and Prudence’s husband Allen’s on the other side. Through her element of Spirit, Prudence senses something off, but can’t quite figure out what it is.

Meanwhile, back in Salem, Piper and Phoebe are dealing with a personal crisis of their own. Thinking of their grandfather on his birthday, they remember Patience telling them of a special chalice used in their grandparents’ wedding and that had come down through Allen’s family, but has since been lost. The sisters cast a lost and found spell, but just like the spell cast in Philadelphia, it backfires in a big way.

As Prudence, Patience, and Phoebe struggle to find a way to clear Piper of the charge of murder, Prudence can’t forget what a dying Bridget told her and Patience still has faith that what they saw was not really Paige, and is determined to get to the bottom of it.

Elsewhere, a mysterious man visits Piper in jail, convinced that Piper is really a witch, because he has the evidence to prove it.

MAKE-BELIEVE WARLOCK COMES TO LIFE - When a traveling carnival comes to Salem, Phoebe's college paper wants her to do a story as part of her college thesis. Phoebe decides to try to cheer up her grandmother and mother by taking them to the carnival and getting them out of the house.

But when she enters a tent, she finds a cult of young women who believe in witches and warlocks and worship their supposed ruler. Phoebe's attempt to correct one of the cult's spell goes horribly wrong when it conjures their made-up leader in the flesh.

Now the cult sets out to gain new followers for their leader, so it's up to Phoebe, Patience, and Prudence to stop a warlock who doesn't really exist - without the full power of the Elemental Witches.

Meanwhile while in still in prison, Piper is visited by Matthew, who proposes to her. But Piper won't give him an answer since she fears he is only asking because she may be convicted and he's trying to make her feel better.

WHY MUST INNOCENTS ALWAYS COME FIRST? - Patience tries again to get through to her sister Paige and sets out to put herself in danger, in the hopes that Paige will save her. But Patience isn't thinking straight. Prudence is the one who rescues her older daughter before sadly reminding Patience that in order to become a witch again, a warlock must willingly save an Innocent - someone who is innocent of the existence of magic - so rescuing a Warren wouldn't count.

Later Prudence has a premonition of the Demon of Despair kidnapping young children. This demon forms nightmares tearing away the foundations of self and purpose. While trying to rescue the children, the demon uses Patience's despair caused by her inability to save her younger sister to turn her into his next victim. Can Prudence and Phoebe save her when they're now three Elementals down?

Meanwhile, Piper receives some very unpleasant news, and reconsiders her future.

Comic-Con: “Elemental Charmed” to End With Season Five after One Hundred Episodes

It's official: CBS-TV's “Elemental Charmed” will end with its upcoming fifth season.

The news, announced Saturday at Comic-Con, comes after stars TBC1 and TBC2 previously signaled that the end of the series was in sight.

Executive Producer Connie Burge made the announcement Saturday during the show's annual trek to San Diego Comic-Con, though the decision to wrap the series she created comes as little surprise.

Talk of ending the series has been a much-talked-about question among the writer's room for some time. Burge told the press, "We mapped out a four or five-year plan for the series after we got picked up for a second season and moved to CBS. But the only question on our minds was exactly how much story we had in us. We didn't want to keep on going when we dried up all the plots we could make."

Stars TBC1 and TBC2 had signaled that the end of the drama was in sight. Both actors had previously indicated their plans to do one last season of the series, and indicated the idea of a possible half-season order for the fifth season is what got a couple of the stars of the show to sign beyond the original four-year-contract they all signed for when the series was first picked up back in 2018.

"We all have discussed it and we've made the decision that this is it," Burge told fans Saturday. "This is going to be the final season of “Elemental Charmed”. It's bittersweet and emotional and we're all going to be crying in a minute. It's been a beautiful run.... Get ready, because it's going to be a very crazy and wild ride for these final episodes."

The final season will be a shortened one, consisting of 12 episodes, bringing the series to a total of 100 episodes. The show returns Sunday, September 11th at 8 p.m. Production is expected to begin on Monday, August 8th, 2022. It's a little later than usual. Due to the shortened order, they will be able to be more flexible, and the other two stars, TBC4 and TBC5, are still busy shooting movies.

”Elemental Charmed has meant so much to so many fans around the world and has meant so much to all of us at CBS,” Charles Smith, network president of CBS-TV, said in a release shortly after the news broke at Comic-Con.“I’m a huge fan of the show myself, and I’ve seen every episode. The relationship and bond between these five stars have been such a blessing. So I am very happy that we can give Connie and her writers the chance to finish their story the way they have envisioned, and to give viewers a fantastic conclusion to five spectacular seasons.”

Saturday's Comic-Con panel ended with a sweet video tribute and Burge's final message to fans: "Thank you for joining us on the ride with these five amazing women, and I cannot wait to close the doors on the Elemental Witches for this final stretch of 12 episodes."

Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano set to return for “Elemental Charmed”s final season

Following the news last weekend at Comic-Con that “Elemental Charmed” was coming to an end with one more season, it has now been officially confirmed that fans can expect to see Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano reprise their roles of Jenna and Mary Ann Warren one more time in the final season, which starts production for the final season on Monday, August 8th, 2022. Both Doherty and Milano will appear in the opening episode of Season 5 to kickstart the beginning of the final 12 episodes of ”Elemental Charmed” which will premiere on September 11th, 2022.

It comes as no surprise since both actresses have previously made guest appearances on the series once every season, usually either opening or ending a season. It was only a matter of signing them both and securing them at the same time.

Executive producer Connie Burge revealed, "I wanted to announce this at Comic-Con last weekend, but the announcement of our show ending, we wanted to make sure that we were taking a second to reflect on our show's legacy and let that sink in and let our fans prepare for goodbye, before we went and revealed the returning faces for the last season".

Doherty later spoke about her return and the series’ ending in a recent press interview: "I'm excited to come back one last time to “Elemental Charmed”. I've enjoyed being a part of this amazing series, and I'm so proud of the work Connie, the writers, and the cast have produced over the years. Alyssa and I have enjoyed getting to play the parts of Mary Ann and Jenna. So I'm looking forward to our return."

Milano also made a comment referring to the series ending: "I'm sad to see this show ending since I've enjoyed popping in and out of the series for the few years, but I'm excited that Shannen and I will get a chance once again to appear in the first episode of a season, in this case, the final season.”

Burge didn't reveal any hints about what role the two will play, but did add that she’s certain that fans will think waiting will be worth it. She also hinted at the possibility of the two actors might make cameos in the final episode, to be aired on Sunday, February 16, 2023, but only quick cameos since she wants the final episode to revolve around the “Elemental Charmed” actors.

WILL PIPER BE FOUND GUILTY AND BE PUT TO DEATH? - The final season of “Elemental Charmed” begins with the Warrens try a last desperate attempt to save Piper, whose judgment day has finally arrived. Having discovered the truth behind Peyton and Andrea, the family hopes to be able to use this to convince everyone that it wasn’t Piper who killed Bridget. But will this mean putting Andrea in prison when it was Peyton who actually murdered Bridget?

During the trial, the Warrens’ ancestors Mary Ann (special guest star Alyssa Milano) and Jenna (special guest star Shannen Doherty) show up, pretending to be cousins, but actually there to expose some unexpected Warren history which reveals something shocking about Jenna and Peyton - something the Warrens never imagined.

Piper is found guilty, but to everyone's surprise, Mary Ann and Jenna's revelations lead Peyton to visit Piper in her prison cell and make an expected offer, one that might grant Piper her freedom, but in doing so, might destroy the Warren line forever by exposing them all as witches.

The first few days are wonderful, but when her actual birthday arrives, things turn dire when the Demoness of Possession starts inhabiting innocents on the cruise.

As the Warrens search the ship for the Demoness, she gains control of the birthday girl. Finding out, Paige transports herself and Phoebe back to the Manor, so they can check their family book of shadows, but they are unprepared for an uninvited visitor – a warlock who is the Demoness of Possession’s accomplice.

Back on the cruise ship, Prudence has a premonition that reveals more to the demoness that it does to her – what happened during Prudence and Allen’s honeymoon many decades ago, something Prudence has tried hard to keep secret. But what will happen if the Demoness reveals the secret?

As long as they're stuck, the five women try to sort out their future:

Phoebe, who only needs a few more credits before finally graduating college, has been given the opportunity of a lifetime - the chance to intern at a major newspaper in Boston - and she'd get to work for her favorite reporter. But despite Salem's proximity to Boston, Phoebe is still wary of being away from her family, especially with now that they know that Peyton is possessing Andrea.

-Piper wonders about her own future with Matthew, who should return shortly from his business trip. Does she really want to distract her family from the problem of Peyton and Andrea with the idea of planning a wedding?

-Paige can't stop wondering if she will ever figure out a way to save her daughter, Peyton, and if not, will she be able to figure a way to vanquish her that won't let her return, forcing Paige to vanquish her yet again.

-Patience is considering retiring from the police force and just taking pictures for fun for a change.

-And Prudence has a health issue that she's trying to keep secret from her family while preparing them for the inevitable.

To their surprise, when Matthew walks in the door, the five women can walk out.

But Patience and Prudence aren't sure that Paige is ready to tackle a case that hits so very close to home, especially when the warlock promises to save both Andrea and Peyton.

A SPECIAL VALENTINES DAY 'ELEMENTAL CHARMED' EPISODE — It is that time of year, where boyfriends and girlfriends, husbands and wives all go that extra length to do something nice for their special someone. Both Phoebe and Paige are without dates, although Paige isn't in the mood this year, especially given her track record with men, and her recent. She's going to finish working on a case for the Social Services all night and doesn't want to be interrupted.

Piper's boyfriend Matthew couldn't be with her on Valentines Day, as he had to go to San Francisco, due to a massive crisis at Piper's other restaurant, and because she is organizing a Valentines Day event at her restaurant, and has two staff members down, she couldn't go with him. But Phoebe and Paige secretly decide, if neither of them can find happiness this year, they want at least one Warren to have their special day. So the two pull some strings to get Matthew back to Salem.

Meanwhile, wanting to be closer to their lost loves. Prudence and Patience both go to the cemetery, to be closer to Allen and Victor. But as they arrive, they find another woman placing flowers on the grave of Allen. Deciding not to rush over, they over-hear the lady talk about coming to the grave at least once a year for being so very important to her.

Eventually, Prudence's concerns that Allen had a life she never knew about with this woman are put to rest, when the two finally confront her and learn that he convinced her to not give up on love to her now deceased husband, and in turn, she helped convince Allen, that he shouldn't let go of Prudence. 

But nothing comes without another matter needing the Elemental Witches to fix, that Prudence soon sees in her Premonition. A Warlock (or Demoness of Obsession) is selling a love potion that will let someone fall in love with them forever, but when the pair of innocents, who both take the love potion, start going on a rampage infected with obsession. One of the Warren's Piper soon helps them both realize that they shouldn't worry about the future, and try and make what happens in the present count. Piper knows from experience since Matthew will be relocating soon after in a couple of weeks, having taken another job offer.

I love that we now can see were all places we need to fill with a press release. That really helps!

I have to admit Sasha, that I never picked up on those. But since you reviewed the episodes, you would have noticed them.

With how busy we all are, I never really observed dates, numbers and such. Just skimming to see that everything wasn't missed like I did last time. I truly appreciate the efforts you have done for us Es, and of course, understand tiredness would get the better of you.

I didn't consider the Super Bowl. I don't follow the programming. But if we adjusted, we would find our S3 Valentines Episode would become episode 14 airing on Feb 14.

Maybe a Wicca store or something had a love potion, or maybe just two witches and one half of the couple wanted to make sure their partner never left them and made the potion, to give to them. Then it backfired and made matters worse. 

What do you think? We did so well making our Christmas episode non-magical, and Animal Pragmatism was just three animals turned into humans. So why not do the same with our Valentines Day Episode. 

But as always, these are just suggestions, you can go back to having it the way you set up before.

RUTH: Good story Pheebs. As for needing more work, I think just something more for Patience to add for remembering Victor. Since Prudence has her own story with the woman who knew Allen. But I really liked it. 

I like what Paige and Phoebe do for Piper to make sure Matthew can come home for Piper on Valentines. I like the way we're not making the love interests a big part of the story. That he comes into the story, goes and comes back most likely when Piper is on trial or arrested. I gather this is what is considered right?

I'm not opposed to no-magical villains, and just sticking to just two innocents messed up with a love potion. Glad none of the Warrens take one and go love crazy. I like that it is just innocents or other witches needing to be saved.

ESMERALDA: Hey, guys, just found out something while working on adding the extra dates - Season 3, Episode 15 will air on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2021! We talked about including a Valentine's Day episode and this sounds like the perfect day! Yeah, it's not our series finale (but that's in May...), but can we really resist this?

Yeah, it might be in the midst of a story arc, but like Halloween falling on a Sunday, we really should give this a try, don't you think?

PHEEBS: I haven't done any press releases for episodes in a while, just Deadline ones. I'm going to do one now and play around with something. It could be in the midst of a story arc, but we can adjust it later if needed.

ESMERALDA: Fantastic! That's what I was thinking. With all the great minds we have working on this, we'll figure out something...

And I messed up the earlier one. Because our last season is only 12 episodes, it ends on February 16, so we can definitely do a Valentine's Day episode for that one, too. I love the idea of Piper and Matthew getting married in our last episode while the others reminisce about their prior loves. With our series all about family, it just seems like the right way to end this. No, it's not as dramatic as the Wither Pox virus storyline, but it will be what Elemental Charmed has always been all about.

PHEEBS: Exactly! That sounds like a good idea, and if we keep the marriage on Valentine's Day just that, the marriage which is part of a small time jump in the series finale, and let the S3, Episode 15 one be a themed story for the entire episode. We'll have two special ones.

ESMERALDA: Of course a lot of this is thanks to all of the discussions regarding the Wither Pox virus storyline – about the only problem with introducing the skyscraper method of replying to posts. But that’s okay, since this thread is mainly for brainstorming and the skyscraper method is the best way to do that!

COLTON: We have been busy with the discussions on that. But that skyscraper method that was done here, helped make life easier for all to reply. 

RUTH: The skyscraper method is perfect for brainstorming.

ESMERALDA: I’ve kept the most recent versions of that story arc here, although there’s always possibilities that thanks to all of the discussions, it could change. I did edit my edits of the Season Two cliffies to reflect what others have said. Although the warlocks still tell the Warrens about the how and why the virus and the antivirus potion affect both witches and warlocks (that gives the Warrens a reason to agree to work with them), how the virus is spread is held off until Season Three.

ESMERALDA: Also, everyone, keep in mind – even though Summer Reading started this storyline, nothing says that others can’t do press releases for episodes that are part of the storyline. But that’s why I’m glad we had standalones in Season One and Two and am hoping we end up moving this storyline to S3/S4 and continue to use standalones in Season Three – it just gives more members more chances to use their own ideas to write their own episodes for ‘Elemental Charmed’ – the reason why we got 50 episodes in a little over a month, halfway to our goal of 100. But, of course, that’s up to everyone else.

COLTON: I think many of us, I know Marlene has admitted she likes standalone episodes to write. Summer and Pheebs seem to do so great at story-arcs.

But I actually think that is a great idea because it does allow new people to join if they want and I think they'll feel more comfortable doing a standalone for a first press release try, not a whole story-arc or adding to one. 

But in saying that, we did plan to do a time travel story in S3, that might be a story arc that is just done in the final episodes of S3. Then it would carry the story-arcs standard into 4 and 5.

PRUDENCE: I do agree, that standalones are better for people to feel comfortable to write a press release for an episode for the first time. It reminds me a little of Ghost Whisperer, they did standalones in S1 and S2, with the exception of two-parters and stories carrying over into another season. Then S3 introduced more plots carrying through a whole season from memory. I'm probably wrong?

RUTH: That does seem like a smart decision.

ESMERALDA: Also as discussed, while I’m working on this, I’m also going to start a new thread that will let the authors of the episode press releases decide who they want to have as writers for their episode. I’m hoping we stick to the ones we’ve chosen so far: Sheryl J. Anderson, the team of Chris Levinson & Zach Estrin and Paul Ruditis, the ones who most fans agree did the best job writing the sisters as sisters. I like to think that if Connie Burge truly got to be the executive producer of a Charmed reboot – not just the creator – that she would choose the ones who wrote the sisters the most like Connie and her own sisters, and from what I’ve read, these are the ones who did – especially in our alternate universe where she no longer has to answer to male chauvinists Brad Kern, Aaron Spelling and E. Duke Vincent, who cared more about how much tit and ass the actresses could reveal over their characters.

BUT that’s just my reaction. Many TV shows have just one writer for the entire show; many have many. I think too many is what caused all of the infamous inconsistencies in Classic Charmed with each writer seeing the sisters differently. BUT if you’ve written one or more of press releases for the episodes and think a different TV writer (no Buffy ones or Hercules/Xena ones or Supernatural ones, please – Classic Charmed fans are given enough problems from fans of those shows!) would do a better job, feel free. Just please, don’t use any of the names of Charmed Café members – that’s for a fantasy series, not this one, which we’re trying to keep as real as possible, despite me trying to sneak fantasy stuff into some of Pheebs Halliwell’s Deadline press releases!

Just be sure that the ones you choose truly have real TV-writing credits (not movies!) – I’ll be checking and if they don’t have those credits via IMDb, they won’t make it to the next update.

COLTON: Good idea. I think not using any writers from those shows is the best idea possible. I look forward to this new thread.

I haven't set at what point they are in a relationship, but It made the episode special, in the end, to have one Warren having their special day.

SUMMER: Maybe we don't even need any villain at all and make this another of the non-magical episodes. Maybe a Wicca store or something had a love potion, or maybe just two witches and one half of the couple wanted to make sure their partner never left them and made the potion, to give to them. Then it backfired and made matters worse.

What do you think? We did so well making our Christmas episode non-magical, and Animal Pragmatism was just three animals turned into humans. So why not do the same with our Valentines Day Episode.

But as always, these are just suggestions, you can go back to having it the way you set up before.

I like what Paige and Phoebe do for Piper to make sure Matthew can come home for Piper on Valentines. I like the way we're not making the love interests a big part of the story. That he comes into the story, goes and comes back most likely when Piper is on trial or arrested. I gather this is what is considered right?

I'm not opposed to no-magical villains, and just sticking to just two innocents messed up with a love potion. Glad none of the Warrens take one and go love crazy. I like that it is just innocents or other witches needing to be saved. 

PHEEBS: Thanks for the feedback. When I was writing, I did get to the end and had to figure out a villain. As for the Patience remembering Victor, yes that would be in it. But since this is a press release, not every single detail would be seen. But we might just need a little part for Patience remembering Victor in it.

A graveyard mystery that’s been puzzling residents of an English village for decades has finally been solved ― at least partially ― thanks to the dogged determination of the BBC.

In a poignant (and delightfully British) documentary, BBC journalist Camila Ruz helps track down a mysterious stranger who’s been leaving poems, flowers and gifts at the grave of Karl Smith, who tragically drowned at age 12 during a Boy Scout trip in 1947.

Ann Kear, Smith’s sister, was only 7 years old at the time. Now 77, Kear has been aching to learn more about the brother she never really knew.

About 20 years ago, Kear began to notice that someone else was also tending Karl’s grave at St. Mary’s Church in Prestbury. The sister was desperate to find out who this person was, suspecting that he or she might be able to tell her more about her brother.

Kear tried everything she could think of. She left notes at the grave asking the stranger to get in touch. She wrote about her search in local publications. She even began attending Scout reunions to look for clues.

Eventually, Ruz signed on to help Kear. After many dead ends, Ruz finally located Ronald Seymour-Westborough, Karl’s friends from the Scouts who admitted he’s been leaving flowers for his buddy for years.

Ruz arranged a heartwarming meeting between Seymour-Westborough and Kear, where they reminisced about the boy who brought them together.

Classic ‘Charmed’  'The Complete First Season' to be released on Blu Ray Disc Oct. 30 with a special two-day promotional launch to celebrate!

As The CW mounts a reboot of the long-running fantasy drama Charmed, CBS Home Entertainment is releasing the original series on Blu-ray for the first time.

The trailer above gives a breakdown of how the quality changed from the standard-definition releases that have been available in the past to the HD release coming soon.

Charmed aired for eight seasons on The WB starting in 1998, and starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano as supernatural sisters who use their witchy powers to fight evil.

With a brand new remastered Blu Ray for Classic Charmed, a series reboot, and another high profile witch series (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) all coming up soon, it seems there has never been a better time, strategically speaking, to make Charmed available again. It really is the Season of the Witch in 2018!

The first season of the Classic Charmed series is getting its HD release, appropriately enough, the day before Halloween on October 30.

And to celebrate the launch, fans will get treated to a two-day promotional event on October 29th and 30th. 

Constance M. Burge, Sheryl J. Anderson, Zack Estrin, Edithe Swensen, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Chris Levinson, Shannen Doherty, Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, Jennifer Rhodes, Dorian Gregory, and Brian Krause will be among the guests appearing in a yet to be disclosed location in LA for a launch party to help celebrate the release, with a special signing and press event.

Rose McGowan, who joined the cast replacing Shannen Doherty in Season 4 will not be attending the event. Since the celebration and launch party of the First Season on Blu Ray was decided to honor the cast and crew involved in the first season, but it also really came down to other working commitments, Rose is involved in. She wishes everyone well and is in full support of the 'Elemental Charmed' series on her social media page. But has since let fans know, that she and other actors (not attending) have contributed some tribute videos which will be played at some point at the two-day event.

Still to be determined is if all the guests will be appearing across both days, or a selection of some on certain days, due to other commitments by the actors and writers.  

But it will mark the first time, all the Classic Charmed stars and writers have been together, apart from the yet to be released 20th anniversary special but that was in-studio filmed.

Deciding not to rush over, they over-hear the lady talk about coming to the grave at least once a year for being so very important to her.

Eventually, Prudence's concerns that Allen had a life she never knew about with this woman are put to rest, when the two finally confront her and learn that he convinced her to not give up on love to her now deceased husband, and in turn, she helped convince Allen, that he shouldn't let go of Prudence.

But nothing comes without another matter needing the Elemental Witches to fix, that Prudence soon sees in her Premonition. A Warlock (or Demoness of Obsession) is selling a love potion that will let someone fall in love with them forever, but when the pair of innocents, who both take the love potion, start going on a rampage infected with obsession. One of the Warren's Piper soon helps them both realize that they shouldn't worry about the future, and try and make what happens in the present count. Piper knows from experience since Matthew will be relocating soon after in a couple of weeks, having taken another job offer.

I won't be mad if it is changed, I think it needs a little more work.

I haven't decided if it will be a Warlock or Demoness of Obsession. Since a Warlock could create those love potions, or make her a Demoness. I know that we talked about Matthew as Piper's boyfriend. We still haven't decided where we are starting them as a couple, so this part can be changed easily. I haven't set at what point they are in a relationship, but It made the episode special, in the end, to have one Warren having their special day.

SUMMER: Maybe we don't even need any villain at all and make this another of the non-magical episodes. Maybe a Wicca store or something had a love potion, or maybe just two witches and one half of the couple wanted to make sure their partner never left them and made the potion, to give to them. Then it backfired and made matters worse.

What do you think? We did so well making our Christmas episode non-magical, and Animal Pragmatism was just three animals turned into humans. So why not do the same with our Valentines Day Episode.

But as always, these are just suggestions, you can go back to having it the way you set up before.

RUTH: Good story Pheebs. As for needing more work, I think just something more for Patience to add for remembering Victor. Since Prudence has her own story with the woman who knew Allen. But I really liked it. 

PHEEBS: Thanks for the feedback. When I was writing, I did get to the end and had to figure out a villain. As for the Patience remembering Victor, yes that would be in it. But since this is a press release, not every single detail would be seen. But we might just need a little part for Patience remembering Victor in it.

RUTH: I like what Paige and Phoebe do for Piper to make sure Matthew can come home for Piper on Valentines. I like the way we're not making the love interests a big part of the story. That he comes into the story, goes and comes back most likely when Piper is on trial or arrested. I gather this is what is considered right?

PHEEBS: We're still working out Piper and Matthew. But I knew since it was Valentines Day, that it felt sweet for one Warren to have something special. 

SUMMER: That we are, and I liked what you did with Piper's story. Any suggestions anyone on how we'd start Piper meeting Matthew? I don't think we'd want him anywhere near S1 of course? I also think S3 is the best start? But with my Wither Pox arc, he'd have to be introduced after that during episode 6 or 7, or even late S2. 

Any ideas guys?

GRANNY: Well we know he'll return when Piper is arrested on trial in S4. But I do love dear that this means he won't take attention off our five stars, the way Leo, Cole and Chris did.

MARLENE: Maybe he is an innocent who turns into a possible love interest, I don't see him showing up in S1, maybe in S3 sometime early in the season but after the Wither Pox arc.

RUTH: I'm not opposed to no-magical villains, and just sticking to just two innocents messed up with a love potion. Glad none of the Warrens take one and go love crazy. I like that it is just innocents or other witches needing to be saved.

PHEEBS: I never considered or wanted any of the Warren's taking a love potion. I liked that that was part of the innocents needing saving. 

SUMMER: We could have gone down that path. But with the plots we have, it would have had to be Phoebe or Paige, and I like it being an innocents too instead.

GRANNY: I agree on that dears.

MARLENE: That does make a good story.

PHEEBS: As for Prudence and her story, I got inspiration from a real-life story I read last year. I wish I could have found it. About a widow who had been wondering who had been leaving flowers on her brothers grave for many years. I decided to do the same with Allen, and Prudence learning a little more about Allen. Of course, if people don't like it, feel free to edit it.

A graveyard mystery that’s been puzzling residents of an English village for decades has finally been solved ― at least partially ― thanks to the dogged determination of the BBC.

In a poignant (and delightfully British) documentary, BBC journalist Camila Ruz helps track down a mysterious stranger who’s been leaving poems, flowers and gifts at the grave of Karl Smith, who tragically drowned at age 12 during a Boy Scout trip in 1947.

Ann Kear, Smith’s sister, was only 7 years old at the time. Now 77, Kear has been aching to learn more about the brother she never really knew.

About 20 years ago, Kear began to notice that someone else was also tending Karl’s grave at St. Mary’s Church in Prestbury. The sister was desperate to find out who this person was, suspecting that he or she might be able to tell her more about her brother.

Kear tried everything she could think of. She left notes at the grave asking the stranger to get in touch. She wrote about her search in local publications. She even began attending Scout reunions to look for clues.

Eventually, Ruz signed on to help Kear. After many dead ends, Ruz finally located Ronald Seymour-Westborough, Karl’s friends from the Scouts who admitted he’s been leaving flowers for his buddy for years.

Ruz arranged a heartwarming meeting between Seymour-Westborough and Kear, where they reminisced about the boy who brought them together.

PHEEBS: Now, of course, It is nothing like this. But I got inspired by that for Prudence's story when she and Patience visit Allen and Victor's grave. 

SUMMER: Very interesting story in general. I like how you always keep getting inspired by what you find. Which any good writer does.

GRANNY: I remember this story dears last year, I was interested to find out if that second mystery got solved. Great job dear being inspired by real life events too to help with your writing.
