SASHA: So? What do you think? Again looking at my story, I actually think it shouldn't be included in this season. Especially because the story I did would continue into a part 2. And we want our first season to be standalone. But I placed it here to see what you all thought, and again with my story it might fit better somewhere else? If you guys think it hasn't got enough to be in two parts, I'll leave in it in “Charmed” Season 1, or move to another season. I must say, I did think I'd only do one or rarely do press releases. But one press release and you find yourself hooked. ESMERALDA: Hehehehe! So very glad this is hooking you in, Sasha! I agree with you that we only want standalones in the first and second season except for the season finales/premiere - but those are also the *only* time we want Part 1 and Part Two - they don't work well during the season. Personally I think it will work fine as a standalone. With you just including the question at the end, as we have for other episodes (personally I'm seriously considering doing that for ALL of our episodes to make it seem more like a real press release, as well as changing "original airdate" "To be aired:" Of course if I *really* wanted to make it seem more real, we'd have to make all of them extra-short. After all, here's what the original The WB press releases for Classic Charmed's “Charmed” Season 1 looked like: Although I think we might want to do something like this when we get our 100 episodes, I truly don’t think it’s how we want to do them now! We've been having such fun, l think we should just keep doing it the way we're doing it, and if it's not quite realistic - who cares? We're enjoying ourselves, right? Maybe someone's fantasy version will be a more realistic one - if so, go for it! But as is... In the meantime, here’s my edit of yours, Prudence: ESMERALDA So? What do you think? Sasha, you'll notice I didn't have any of the Warrens recognize the warlocks nor did I have the warlocks go with them. Those things just don't seem to fit your story. If I'm wrong and you want to change it, go ahead and edit mine and make it a big more clear.

WOW! Now we’re at TWENTY-THREE pages! But this one won’t take me as long as the previous one did since I just have to add the new press releases. As always, if I missed anything, be sure to let me know!
Here we go!

PRUDENCE: My first press release. Wish me luck. I have no idea how it will turn out. Won't surprise me, I end up with massive edits - because this is a first for me. Thanks, Pheebs for how you get inspired for stories. I found one to help me basing it around Salem's Convention Centre that hosts so many events all the time it seems. Feel free to change the villain as you please, I'll get there when I feel better at doing more press releases but not the best with original villains guys. If you can creatively come up with someone else if you think this doesn't work, by all means. I'm not good with titles, so feel free to edit it too if you wish. SUMMER: I'm so glad you decided to give it a try, Prudence and I inspired you with finding something in Salem that could work for the story. PHEEBS: I'm so happy to see you decided to give it a go like Sasha did before. ESMERALDA: I'm also very glad that you decided to give this a try, Prudence - I hope it inspires others to do the same! Now I look forward to seeing what you came up with. PRUDENCE: Can't wait to see what you all thought. As others say, edit, re-edit or ask some questions? SUMMER: I might change the title just to not reflect just Louisa, make it about both him and his mother. The Banshee ends up going after the others I reckon, and I think she should target both Matthew and his mother, before going after the Warren's with unresolved stuff to do with Victor. Hope you don't mind, I went ahead and changed the title and the episode number and date. I think placing it as episode 9 might work, so some of those wounds the Warren family feel for Victor's death are still sorta fresh. Unless you placed it as episode 19, to fit in with some event in Salem for a reason? I just thought it would be nice if we had S1's first 16 episodes all filled in now. Great first effort Prudence. EDIT: Just realized that by moving it to episode 9, Phoebe's story changes slightly as she wouldn't be falling behind to finish the school year now close to Summer. So she'd have to just be falling behind in a certain class maybe? Unless we take out Phoebe's smart spell plot and leave it for late in S1, and find another story for the other Warren's. If you think this is too much, change it back to episode 19, Prudence. ESMERALDA: Actually Season 1, Episode 9 would be right before our Christmas episode, so that means Phoebe is near the end of the first semester, so this still works fine. PRUDENCE: Perfect. That's fine. ------------------------------ PHEEBS: Unless she taps into some unresolved issues that have been buried for many months, and it comes out now. So we can still keep it as episode 19, and not need to move it to 9. Although I would feel satisfied that we have 16 straight completed press releases for S1 from episode 1 to 16. The placement isn't really an issue. Good job putting it together. But I agree with Summer, that we should have it focusing on the two of them not just have her target his mother. Let it be the two of them or even just Matthew. Might need some proofing though. But a great first effort, Prudence. RUTH: Good job! I think making it about Matthew or both might be better as an innocent. ESMERALDA: Oh, changing it so we introduce Matthew in Season One is a great idea! I actually like this as coming out sooner rather than later for a number of reasons: 1) It continues to show the Warrens mourning Victor despite them becoming the Elemental Witches 2) It allows Phoebe to be in school and use the smart spell - I loved its use in Classic Charmed, and also love it here - nothing says we can't reuse ideas from Classic Charmed, as a tribute to Classic Charmed. 3) We don't have a Season One, Episode Nine yet and I think this fits there perfectly! So here's my edit (not sure what Foodie events are like in Salem, so I based my event on the ones we have here in Minneapolis). PRUDENCE: That makes sense Es. That's what I thought. We ain't remaking The Painted World or Look Who's Barking. I like the tributes. Besides a Banshee is a Banshee. Charmed isn't the first to use one. Look forward to your edits. ESMERALDA: So? What do you think? I changed it a bit more than I usually do, but since Season One is supposed to concentrate on the Warrens and their jobs (and in Phoebe's case, that's her schooling) this made sense to me. If enough members don't like it, I'll change it back. PRUDENCE: I LOVE IT! Great job Es! Speaking of Warrens and jobs. I feel a story based on Patiences job but where her office (if she has one) or wherever she developes photos. So far we're just using her on crime scenes taking photos. A little more would be fun. Unless I've skipped and forgotten one that did? I do love stories we've done with two Warrens crossing over with stories and the same innocents and villains through their jobs.

We ain't remaking The Painted World or Look Who's Barking. I like the tributes. Besides a Banshee is a Banshee. Charmed isn't the first to use one. ESMERALDA: Well, we're not copying from those episodes, but by redoing them, it feels like a tribute in a way none of the others really have been (who says Charmed had run out of stories to tell??), so that's why I came up with the title. The ones about the broken hearts of Salem...or whatever it was...it didn't feel right since it as only about Matthew's mother (and giving her a name just didn't quite seem right. Knowing what's coming, I preferred concentrating on Matthew...) and not about a whole bunch of lonely hearts with painful memories. It's a bit of a strange title, first to admit it...but fun. PRUDENCE: Look forward to your edits. ESMERALDA: Hope you like them! ESMERALDA: So? What do you think? I changed it a bit more than I usually do, but since Season One is supposed to concentrate on the Warrens and their jobs (and in Phoebe's case, that's her schooling) this made sense to me. I feel a story based on Patiences job but where her office (if she has one) or wherever she developes photos. So far we're just using her on crime scenes taking photos. A little more would be fun. Unless I've skipped and forgotten one that did? ESMERALDA: As a forensic photographer, Patience would have both her office and her darkroom at the police station, near the coroner's office. You're right - perhaps a story where a warlock does something to the chemicals she uses in her darkroom that makes her do what the pictures do - something somewhat based on the one about Prue and Abbey, but different, the way this one was based on those two episodes without being like them - could definitely be fun. Anyone want to do something like that - go for it! It would be something that would be nice for Season One. --------------------- PRUDENCE: I do love stories we've done with two Warrens crossing over with stories and the same innocents and villains through their jobs. ESMERALDA: Me, too!

PHEEBS: Again me having a little bit of fun too. But coming across articles for the Blu Ray I had to do a press release for it. ESMERALDA:[/quote][/i] Oh, yes, you definitely had some fun, but there's not much in here that I think would be completely out of the question if OUR reboot was really around the corner. Only two things made me think, "Oh, no, I don't think so". First, I don't think CBS agree to pay for both Connie and the writers. I think they would for the stars, but not them, much as I would also love to see them as part of this. So in my edit, I'll take the others out. BUT because I am, I'm going to put some of the other Season One stars in. That might be my own bit of fun, so if anyone thinks I went too far, be sure to let me know. Second, the whole bit with Rose would fit in an article about the reboot, but not about the Blu-Ray release, which this is about. So I'm going to edit that. Anyone disagree with any of this? If so, why? PHEEBS: You're probably right, they wouldn't pay the writers to be present. But that was just me having fun. Maybe if they did, it would be just two writers, or just Connie herself. But CBS I gather wouldn't pay for the writers or Connie to be present, but I'm not sure how real events like this would go. Normally it might be just the stars. That might make for an interesting article, to have press releases having the Classic Charmed stars reacting to our reboot. I'd love to do Rose's one. ------------------------ PHEEBS: I made it a two-day event on purpose, just so some actors or writers could appear on one day and others on another. Being realistic, that perhaps not all of them could do two days. I wanted to keep it strictly season 1 cast and crew. Feel free to edit, change or ask questions? SUMMER: Great job Pheebs! Don't I wish this was real! (edited a small part, I guess the real author of the article you took pieces from said some things wrong) ESMERALDA:Good job, Summer! So glad that others aren't afraid to edit and admit that they have. I'm definitely not the only one who should be allowed to do that! PHEEBS: Good one, Summer! Everyone is welcome to edit. ------------------------ SASHA: Don't I wish they really did this. Don't I wish!!! Great job with it Pheebs! ESMERALDA: OH, don't I wish, too!! PHEEBS: Me too! Why I had so much fun putting it together! And here's my edit: ESMERALDA: That's such fun that you made this happen the day you wrote it, Pheebs! It just makes it seem that much more real!! So? What do you guys think of this edit? PHEEBS: I love it. Great job. Yep, I couldn't resist doing one for an article released in real time on the day I saw it. If I ever find anything or come across ones, I'll do them accordingly. Actually, this might be the way our reboot feel real. Just the Deadline press releases are enough to get that real experience. Even if our episode press releases, are done our way. What do you think? Because we are making it feel real regardless, with the fun.

It's nice to see more people doing them, does let me and Summer have a little break, and let others come up with more episodes. I know we both have done the most, and I'd like everyone to feel they get to input. Why for now, I'm doing the Deadline press releases, and taking a step back for a little bit, just to see what others can come up with. And I'm so proud of you all! Like I said earlier, my Deadline press releases are enough, for now, to make it feel real, since those are actually as real as you can get, so we do have something making it feel truly real with those. Here's some real Classic Charmed press release I found online for some real ones: In the meantime, here’s my edit of yours, Prudence: ESMERALDA So? What do you think? Sasha, you'll notice I didn't have any of the Warrens recognize the warlocks nor did I have the warlocks go with them. Those things just don't seem to fit your story. If I'm wrong and you want to change it, go ahead and edit mine and make it a big more clear. PHEEBS: Good job Es and Sasha I love the story! I guess the Warren's in the present will take care of those warlocks again, although these warlocks will not have heard of them before since they don't exist in the other world, so it gives the Warren's an advantage.

PHEEBS: That title actually works better for our Valentines Day episode I have to admit. But maybe not this one. ESMERALDA: YAY! So very glad that you do!! PHEEBS: Great job. I love this one. What a tribute to Classic Charmed, but it's still a brand new story. I'm also so very proud of us all, we've gotten the first 17 episodes of S1 done. WOW! ---------------------- PRUDENCE: Speaking of Warrens and jobs. PHEEBS: What a neat idea for a story, to truly let Patience's job be central to our story. I'll see if I can think of a story, and everyone else, go for it if you want to do the same. PRUDENCE: I did a press release, already. Might need proofing though. I'll share it in the next post. --------------------- PRUDENCE: I do love stories we've done with two Warrens crossing over with stories and the same innocents and villains through their jobs. ESMERALDA: Me, too! PHEEBS: That's how I like it. Less demon hunters, more family or sisters who are witches. PRUDENCE: And that is what we want for our show. No way we want S3-8 Classic Charmed!

Many thanks to Es for the inspiration! The wording might need work, and some editing required if someone can work it a little better, go for it guys! Spring Break according to me googling I found in Salem it is between March 15 Friday Spring Break starts and March 25 Monday Spring Break ends, Classes start), so we can easily adjust the episode placement when needed to episode 16 which has an air date of April 7th. I'll let you guys title and tagline it. I can't think of anything at the moment. So feel free to edit, or change it?

After all, here's what the original The WB press releases for Classic Charmed's “Charmed” Season 1 looked like: PHEEBS: I'm so glad you got hooked Sasha, and hope you keep writing more press releases and episodes. SASHA: I had fun with it. A neat standalone episode now. I'm so proud of everyone here too. Although I think we might want to do something like this when we get our 100 episodes, I truly don’t think it’s how we want to do them now! We've been having such fun, l think we should just keep doing it the way we're doing it, and if it's not quite realistic - who cares? We're enjoying ourselves, right? Maybe someone's fantasy version will be a more realistic one - if so, go for it! But as is... PHEEBS: Yes, something to do when we hit 100 episodes. Like I said earlier, my Deadline press releases are enough, for now, to make it feel real, since those are actually as real as you can get, so we do have something making it feel truly real with those. Here's some real Classic Charmed press release I found online for some real ones: SASHA: Thanks for sharing those Pheebs and Es. PHEEBS: Good job Es and Sasha I love the story! I guess the Warren's in the present will take care of those warlocks again, although these warlocks will not have heard of them before since they don't exist in the other world, so it gives the Warren's an advantage. SASHA: Thanks. I Imagine they would be able too and have that advantage or they are sent back and vanquished immediately by the witches who learn a thing or two from the Elemental Witches on potions.

PRUDENCE: Many thanks to Es for the inspiration! ESMERALDA: My pleasure. Glad that your idea to do something with Patience's office inspired me to inspire you! SUMMER: Prudence, well-done!!! I' so proud of you for attempting to do one. I've been very busy this weekend, and haven't had a chance to do any myself. But I'm so pleased that others keep on adding to our count. ---------------------- PRUDENCE: The wording might need work, and some editing required if someone can work it a little better, go for it guys! I'm not great at taglines. But making a suggestion.

I've forgotten Andrea has made her debut appearance in the other universe only. Unless of course she's present at Victors funeral briefly and we're to assume she's present but a press release doesn't mention that of course. I feel a story based around Patience and her daughters should be a focus of a S1 episode for one of the last few press releases we write up. I know we've had moments throughout the season. I just think one all around their relationship should be a key focus in a story.
