ESMERALDA: I kinda like using that to show what we're quoting from... PHEEBS: Yes, something to do when we hit 100 episodes. Like I said earlier, my Deadline press releases are enough, for now, to make it feel real, since those are actually as real as you can get, so we do have something making it feel truly real with those. Here's some real Classic Charmed press release I found online for some real ones: ESMERALDA: First, does that last one make anyone shudder, thinking of Shannen directing an episode Kern wrote when you *know* that Kern knew Shannen would soon be fired when Shannen didn't? SUMMER: It certainly does. It also makes me think that this is something else to do when we hit 100 episodes - don't know about you guys, but I kinda like that format for these episode press release. So our first one would be: Elemental Charmed"House of the Rising Warrens" - (TV-14, L, V) Airdate: Sunday, October 14, 2018 Series Premiere Time Slot: 8:00 PM-9:00 PM EST on The CW FIVE ELEMENTS - ONE FAMILY - It isn't every day you wake up and discover that you're a witch from a long matriarchal line of witches, but sisters Piper (TBD5) and Phoebe (TBD5) Bennett discover that their somewhat ordinary life of being raised in San Francisco, CA, by their father, Victor (Guest Star TBD), is about to become anything but ordinary. When their grandmother, Prudence Warren (TBD1), who has been living on the other side of the country in Salem, MA has a premonition that a warlock who she had presumed was dead is back, and is going after Piper and Phoebe, she rushes to their rescue. With her are her older daughter, Piper and Phoebe's mother Patience Warren (TBD2), and her younger daughter, their aunt Paige Warren (TBD3). They three are too late to prevent the warlock from murdering Victor. Patience reveals to her daughters that their true last name is Warren just like hers, her mothers and her sisters, but the girls grew up with the last name of Bennett to hide the fact that they are witches with bound powers. Their mother gives them the choice to have her unbind their powers. (TBD) directed the episode, story by Constance M. Burge, teleplay by Sheryl J. Anderson and Paul Rudits ESMERALDA: Like I said...I kinda like it that way. Something to do when we hit 100. And for those who want to include directors, we could. SUMMER: Love this! I really want to do this when we hit 100. Actually, we now have one press release in line with a real style one, since the ripoff I believe has one out now.

SASHA: Feel free, to edit, change or ask questions? I added a little hint of the plot that will become part of our season finale. Remembering S1 had no real story-arc, but the Inspector Rodriguez story was around for 3 episodes with hints. If you don't like this, take it out, I just added it in, but thinking it might not work? Love your input guys, and maybe this story should have been an earlier one in the season. I'm not sure? I'm not as happy with this one than I thought I would be. So any suggestions would be nice. Also was inspired by the suggestion of a story based on Patience and her daughters. RUTH: I think maybe having a different villain might be better or I'd switch the plot so Patience is kidnapped and Phoebe and Piper resolve whatever fight they have feared for her safety. Maybe even a plot with a homage to Power Outage. With the Demoness of Rage having them fight where they temporarily lose their powers. I don't suggest the second, just ideas. Just a suggestion Sasha and everyone. I think the story just needs a little more. But that is what Team Charmed Cafe is here Sasha to help you. SUMMER: I think I'd change the whole rage part, we had the Banshee tapping into the family's unresolved grieve for Victor. This one doesn't seem fitting unless Peyton/Andrea uses the Demoness of Rage to get Paige away from her family when they are infected by rage and take it out on Paige, another part that gets her to become a warlock. I think a story needing to rescue Patience might be better, or here's a suggestion, A Enter the Demon body swap plot, where Patience switches bodies with either Phoebe or Piper, that way they can understand each other better. Just throwing that out there. Here's my edit: SUMMER: What do you all think? edit, re-edit or ask questions? Also, Sasha, if you want to revert back to your version, feel free. SASHA: I love your edit Summer. Much better than mine. PRUDENCE: Great work. I think I like Summer's edit more. Sorry, Sasha. But still, the basis of the plot was good Sasha. SASHA: I did say I wasn't as thrilled with what I came up with. I'm glad someone took mine and edited it better. ESMERALDA: I agree with all of you - fantastic idea, Sasha; great editing, Summer! Sasha, I like your foreshadowing, but I wonder if we should wait and fit it into one of the other episodes – Summer’s edit with her “But before they can celebrate a newfound mother-daughter bonding experience, Patience, Phoebe, and Piper have to rescue Paige and Prudence, and can they fit the spell to put Phoebe and Patience back in their own bodies?” is just *so* dramatic (especially after a slight Es-edit, hehehehe), I really think the extra paragraph takes away from that. So for the time being, I’m going to take it out. If you really want it to remain, I’ll put it back in. Along the same idea, I agree with you that this story would work better earlier in the season when Patience and her daughters are just starting to get to know each other better after her daughters grew up on the other side of the country, but that sort of shuffling will have to wait until we’re done with our 100 episodes. Again, Sasha, if you want to keep your last paragraph, I’ll put it back to Episode 21, right before the last episode of the season. SUMMER: Thanks Es. I like this foreshadowing, but I agree with Es. I think it might fit better earlier in the season. Half wondering, if 'Reflections of the Dark Kind' would make a better fit as Episode 21, and 'A Warren Family Feud' being moved as episode 8. The revelation of Paige's child and Piper and Phoebe learning this would make a great end of season story. Sasha, if you really like that last paragraph, we could work that into one of the other S1 episodes that we felt didn't have a dramatic last paragraph, and just switch them around. Unless you can find a new story that might fit better with it, then we'd have a new press release. ESMERALDA: Very good idea, Summer! What do you think, Sasha? ------------------------------- RUTH: Any suggestions on the title of the episode? PHEEBS: Maybe one of these: A Warren Family Feud Or Walking a Mile in the Shoes of a Warren? ESMERALDA: I actually like the title "A Warren Family Feud' with "THE WARRENS WALK IN EACH OTHER'S SHOES" as the tagline. What do you guys think? Naturally, being Es, I had to edit the tagline slightly… Here's the rest my edit of Summer’s edit. Again, I’ll switch the episode number and/or the title/tagline if enough members think I should. ESMERALDA: So? What do you guys think? SUMMER: I love this edit Es and title plus tagline. I like the idea of this being episode 8, and switching it around with 'Reflections of the Dark Kind' to be episode 21. Unless Sasha really likes her last paragraph foreshadowing or wants to do a brand new press release with it. ESMERALDA: ANOTHER great idea, Summer! Especially because Sasha's foreshadowing would work wonderfully at the end of that!

PRUDENCE: Many thanks to Es for the inspiration! ESMERALDA: My pleasure. Glad that your idea to do something with Patience's office inspired me to inspire you! SUMMER: Prudence, well-done!!! I' so proud of you for attempting to do one. I've been very busy this weekend, and haven't had a chance to do any myself. But I'm so pleased that others keep on adding to our count. PRUDENCE: ---------------------- PRUDENCE: The wording might need work, and some editing required if someone can work it a little better, go for it guys! Spring Break according to me googling I found in Salem it is between March 15 Friday Spring Break starts and March 25 Monday Spring Break ends, Classes start), so we can easily adjust the episode placement when needed to episode 16 which has an air date of April 7th. I'll let you guys title and tagline it. I can't think of anything at the moment. So feel free to edit, or change it? SASHA: Like the story connecting all the Warrens and Patiences job. PHEEBS: Glad you decided to do another one Prudence. Loving seeing more and more members having a go at them. ESMERALDA: I agree totally! Here's my edit: SUMMER: Great job! ESMERALDA: So? What do you think? Not nuts on my title or my tagline, so if anyone has a better one, let's hear it! I took out the bit of Patience taking pictures of things that hadn't happened yet because I don't know how that could happen. The other is bad enough. SUMMER: I like this story. I think what is happening is worse enough and perfect for our story. I suggested a tagline and added it to the press release above. Feel free to change it back, if needed? PRUDENCE: Looks much better Es. The tagline I think might need more work maybe and less long. Something simple like maybe will Patience lose everything important to her. Something like that maybe? I'm not great at taglines. But making a suggestion. SUMMER: I hope you continue to do more stories Prudence. Yeah the taglines maybe just need to be simple. Looking at the stories so far. I've forgotten Andrea has made her debut appearance in the other universe only. Unless of course she's present at Victors funeral briefly and we're to assume she's present but a press release doesn't mention that of course. I feel a story based around Patience and her daughters should be a focus of a S1 episode for one of the last few press releases we write up. I know we've had moments throughout the season. I just think one all around their relationship should be a key focus in a story. RUTH: I'd assume she would be at the funeral. I like the sounds of an episode based around those three. Not sure what plot though. ---------------------------------- ESMERALDA: Guys, I think I went back and edited my post after Summer quoted mine, so she missed my change and the rest of you just continued her version. My suggestion for the tagline is "GENTLE PATIENCE HAS KILLED?" Do you guys like that better than the longer "JEALOUSY AND HATE AGAINST PATIENCE MAY COST HER EVERYTHING INCLUDING HER INNOCENCE" Just in case I did any other editing on my edit (highly like for me, here's the way I show this episode right now: Is that the way we want it, or has it been changed since I posted that? SUMMER: That is perfect and less long. Unless someone can find a way to shorten the longer one and word it better, I'll take the simple short one. SASHA: I'm fine with that title too as we have it with GENTLE PATIENCE HAS KILLED?

And for those who want to include directors, we could. PHEEBS: I really like this Es! I really think this is our aim when we hit 100. I also like you putting this together Es, I've seen ripoff has their press release out. I didn't bother sharing it here, no need. We already have Classic Charmed's real ones to get the way it looks. I love what you have done with our first one Es.

PHEEBS: Some new Deadline Articles: SASHA: ESMERALDA: YAY!! By the way, I have to apologize, Pheebs, for taking so long getting to these, but I've been having one of those weeks...I'll warn everyone that we're starting to get very busy at work and probably will be for a while, and next weekend we have a show at work, so I don't know if I'll get to do anything here at all - and if I do, since it will be the 20th anniversary of 'Something Wicca This Way Comes' first airing, I plan on doing my own marathon, putting my reviews in my thread - I've ignored that too much just because this has been so much fun! But I hope you all know that I'll always be here when I can. I'm just so very proud of the work we've done and how well we've gotten along during it! PHEEBS: Feel free to edit, change, ask questions or note if something should be added or taken out. SASHA: Great job with these. Love them! PRUDENCE: Love these!!! ESMERALDA: I'm with the others, Pheebs, these are FANTASTIC!! SOOO much fun! There's just one sentence that doesn't seem to blend in with the rest - I assume that's due to what was going on in the original post, so I took it out. As always, if it doesn't make sense to you, let me know and I'll put it back. Also, since unlike the reboot, we've properly given our reboot a different name, no real need to put the word "classic" in front of "Charmed" - for us, "Charmed" means classic "Charmed", not both. Finally, with some of our stars over 30, I don't think Rose would call them "girls" - that's more for the reboot girls. Here's my edits: ESMERALDA: How's that?

PHEEBS: I did some new ones. ESMERALDA: Oh, Pheebs! I was so excited when I saw this! PHEEBS: Feel free to edit, change, ask questions or even point out what might be missing or needs taking out? PRUDENCE: Great job. I think when S1 is complete. We can add the teasers in maybe. PHEEBS: Thanks. That's true. If anyone wants to add any teasers, go for it! ESMERALDA: No way, Pheebs! You do such a fantastic job, I really think you should do it. Especially because we've changed the order of a couple of them. I think I'll hold off both editing this and putting it in my update until you get a chance to do that - because, oh, yes, girl, you're definitely on the right track for these writer ones! PHEEBS: Feel free to edit, change, ask questions or even point out what might be missing or needs taking out? ESMERALDA: Now the ideas in *this* one are great as is! Here's my edit for it: ESMERALDA: So? What do you think?

PHEEBS: That's fine Es. I know this time of year can get busy for some. So I'll keep this in mind, and yes the anniversary of Charmed is coming up, and October 7th is a very special day. I haven't had time to watch any, while doing EC. I might sit down and just watch a few episodes myself close to that day, and do the rest when I can, or I might pop in your thread Es and comment on yours. Finally, with some of our stars over 30, I don't think Rose would call them "girls" - that's more for the reboot girls. PHEEBS: Thanks. That's fine with those little edits. Here's my edits: ESMERALDA: How's that? PHEEBS: I love the edits Es. Now what is sadder, is they are having a 20th Anniversary panel on Oct 7th at NYC Comic Con, but the new ripoff stars are attending and being present for it, of course, to promote their show, and that feels insulting. And no, none of the Classic Charmed stars are present as far as I know. I didn't post that article publically on other parts of the Cafe, because coming across it, made me so very sad.

SASHA: Here are the edited versions with the changes: SASHA: What do you think? Since Pheebs did the original, of course, she deserves the whole credit, I only contributed to the ending. PHEEBS: Great work Sasha, and I love these changes. This really is a good lead-way into the finale. I'm fine with the switching. I'm just so happy that one season is done. ESMERALDA: Oh, guys! I'm so very proud of you all! Fantastic brainstorming! This is all PERFECT! WE'VE GOT A COMPLETED FIRST SEASON!!! *HIGH FIVE TO ALL*!!! PHEEBS: *HIGH FIVE TO ALL* I'm so proud of all we have accomplished. Now our next anniversary day for EC is Oct 14th, the same day the ripoff starts. So I hope we can do another one, to get our minds off the ripoff starting date.

Had a busy week dears and weekend, so I haven't had a chance to update. But so glad Es did this, easier for me to read and get updated.
So pleased, we have finished S1. This is such good news!!! Well done to everyone who made that possible.
