Honestly if it never comes back I ain't gonna be crying over it. The fan podcasts are more insightful and discuss things better than HOH. We are not missing out on anything.

That is true but there are some show based podcasts for example Talkville the Smallville one which I think is well showcased and produced because from what I know of that Michael and Tom are very invested in the series and love what their doing which is great to see.
They also stay on topic recapping each episode scene by scene and give good behind the scenes secrets you mayn't have already known about then.
The latest Buffy podcast which Amber Benson done was well received as well I hear.
I guess it depends on how things are thought out and done which determine if a podcast succeeds or not and whether enough research is planned i.e knowing the target audience and what they might want from that also.

Yeah the podcast from what I hear (so glad I didn't waste too much time on it and only listened to 1 or 2 episodes before giving up) was a let down because they couldn't stay on topic and had no actual structure to it.
It won't happen, but I'd much prefer the hosts being the writers and producers behind the scenes doing it than anyone from the show. Because most of the insights fans want to know comes from them with the creative process of Charmed.
It's good they stopped the podcast now (if it isn't coming back). Since by the time they get to S8, nobody will care about it. Since that season isn't well received by some.

I think they all got the money grab and instagram clout that they were after without having to talk about Alyssa Milano too much in Season 3. Drew become relevant again among his Smallville peers.

If they can keep it together to talk about the characters only, maybe, but I won't hold my breathe. Hard pass. I'm content with just re-watching S3 and enjoying the characters. That's enough for me. But, the behind the scenes, never affects my enjoyment of Charmed ever hearing about it. |

That would be interesting. I like it because it'll mix things up while not letting people like Holly continue to be bored. You can tell it was a chore for her to do every episode. I really hope Connie and some of the other key players behind the scenes on as guests. I'm just really dying to learn some of the original ideas they had that got scrapped. Learn the makings of key storyline creations as the show goes on. All the tea. I can see Kaley doing S8, since and Alyssa are pretty close. |

I would personally have Drew feature from the start, pairing up with a sister and a rotating third host. This might seem strange but Drew appeared the most comfortable with the format and led the podcast as best he could. So my order would go:
S1 & 2: Drew and Shannen
S3 & 4: Drew and Alyssa
S5 & 6: Drew and Holly
S7 & 8: Drew and Rose
You may have sisters featuring in other seasons as the guest host and you'd get a strong dose of the other regulars sprinkled throughout. This would mean you don't always have to have four speakers, it can just work with the two and a guest host. But where there is a particularly interesting guest star, writer or director who would suit a more interview format, you sometimes would have a special guest.

I don't know how they'll manage with four speakers for every podcast. It feels like too many voices. Having four people interview one guest may be difficult with so many talking over the guest.

They've already recorded something last week. I expect a launch in July sometime or possibly August if they want a good bank of episodes in the can. |

I did see Holly tease with a photo of a microphone which looks like it was taken in Shannen's house on her socials. But again we'll know once we see a new podcast drop.  It's meant to be a new production team. Just my speculation it might be Iheart, the one Shannen uses for her own podcast. But this is pure speculation, since she had a deal, and it could cross promote with hers. Who knows. LOL |

Yes, I got into the show during COVID in 2020, and my friend got me into it (and insisted I start at S4, LOL I don't think they like the Prue Years, so that was quite an influence, until this board suggested I start at 1). So I went back to do them in order. Now hoping I can get to S2 next. I do know Prue dies in S3 or I know she's gone by the start of S4, I just have no clue how and what happens till that point in time.
