I just finished listening to the podcast of "Thank you for Not Morphing", and I definitely prefer these podcasts when they have a guest - I thoroughly enjoyed Tony Dennison, who I always liked as Victor. I was SHOCKED to discover that they changed Victors because Tony looked too young and some of the scenes between him and the sisters looked sexual. Good reason to switch, but something I never noticed. Did anyone else?
I'm disappointed that Shannen only has two more episodes - I SO wish they had let her be part of it from the beginning! I'm just glad that "Dead Man Dating" is one of them because I love it so much. I don't know if I'll keep listening once Shannen isn't part of it. We'll see.

I'd imagine it was Phoebe seeing Victor half naked in a bathrobe when she visited his apartment. That's the only scene that stands out.
I didn't have a problem with Tony's Victor. It's funny they think he's too young, when in reality Tony is older than James by 4 years. They could've just told Tony to dye his hair grey. It's not hard to just make changes and re-tweaks to his character in a follow-up than full on re-casting him.
I don't think I'll continue on. Doesn't seem like it'll add anything. Besides, we've all heard Holly, Brian and Drew's takes the first time. Shannen grounded the three to stay on track. Unless they bring on a new fourth host in Rose. It could be fun to hear what she thinks of S1-3. But I don't know. It might be dependent on the guests.

I am glad she got to see the Pilot and what a good episode looks like with Dead Man Dating. Its going to be sad listening to Shannen in the Dream Sorcerer episode rewatch next week. It's almost like we've been summoning her. Like magic. Shannen is rightfully critical of the show in its early stagesand I would love to have seen Shannen's reaction to some of her Season 2 episodes like Ms Hellfire, Muphys Luck and Give Me A Sign when Prue's character was developing so well. I'ts a month today since she passed away, 13 July. "Its strange the things that you miss" - Piper (HMC) in Hell Hath No Fury. I hope Shando fans are doing alright out there! |

This next week will ne hard. It will be like losing her a third time.
Hope the podcast can recover. It will feel weird without her there. Like others have pointed out, it seems pointless to re-do the same episodes with Holly, Drew and Brian again without a new perspective in Shannen. Will they replace her?

Maybe because they discussed 1x04 very well in first HoH - i don't love this version. Feels like they are talking in half strength and again say all the same things as in previous episodes. i seriously tired hearing about stalker Andy 😐.
And I don’t know how they will discuss the episodes after 1x05. So far it feels like 90% Shannen, 8% Holly and 2% the rest.

The end is here! The last time we'll ever hear Shannen on the podcast. I'll understand if some can't listen. Dorian is the last guest Shannen interviews. Holly questions the order of the episodes. We know this one came third according to the production order. My Gosh I am going to miss Shannen keeping things on track and CHOPPING HMC out when Holly is being snarky. I am glad Shannen sees the positives of the episode as this is the first episode that hocked me in in 1999. Im surprised they don't just google the production order to make sense of the rearrangement. I dont see the point in rewatching the rewatch again but might listen while I speed it up on a walk or something. Its now been over a month since Shannen's death and I feel so fortunate to have heard her recap the first 5 episodes. I think she would have really started to like Prue more after mid-season. I do like how she refers to Sin Francisco and knows about Prue's pride. I enjoyed Shannen joining the podcast because it made me think about how Shannen would be keeping track of things esp in the very beginning stages of the show and how her leadership really did help give Charmed its legacy, legitimacy and longativity. Love love love Shannen Doherty and her commitment to hardwork, grit and determination even during periods of relentless adversity. |

1x06 discussion is so awful. Episode is 35 minutes long and half of that time they talk about stuff that non relatable to "charmed'. And in other half they say how bad episode was over and over.

I regret even giving it a chance, hoping it'l improve ecen without Shannen. I was hesitant after how much Shannen kept them on track to try. I want my 45 minutes back. Lol 😆 The podcast will have to pull an amazing guest like Connie Burge on to lure me back. Here's hoping they'll get better. But I don't think so. |

Crazier that the full house ones were basically young kids and can remember more detail about the show. I have seen that show but never was a massive fan just casual. I get the sense that if they were not with Iheart they'd quit. Now Holly has to keep going and likely what Shannen intended in the event of her death. It really sounds like Shannen was the one determined to make it better and her passion modivated the others. Sucks they can't do it in Shannen's memory and do a better job. You think the podcast could conclude after 1 or 2 seasons. I'm not sure with contracts If it's by season or a full series. Depends what contract they have. |

And then Holly Marie Combs in 20 years time will say she was forced to stay in the iHeartRadio contract for 8 years.... just like she did with Charmed (which lets face it girl, no one would know who you were if it wasn't for Charmed.... you would not have landed a bigger role than that after Shannen's exit!) It also sucks for Drew that he is as a hopeless actor as he is an entrepreneur. I mean his peers are killing it in their rewatches. I think Drew is a narcassist like Alyssa tbh. I think they all are and BK just tags a ong. |

It's a shame this podcast isn't doing as well as people wanted it to the same with certain poorly written Charmed episodes when people didn't know what they were talking about.
I haven't listened to the Full House podcast but do follow the Smallville one Talkville because that programme was one of my favourites growing up.
I see why it has so many patrons when Michael and Tom keep things on track and talk about interesting behind-the-scenes stuff while bringing on guest stars also.
If things revert to how this podcast was before Shannen appeared then I can see people being turned off and not continue listening on which ultimately kills this altogether that nobody wants to happen of course.

I may not bother now hearing its back to the old podcast style and feel. *sigh* |
