That happened with my friend concerning Netflix in the UK.
His friend had a family account for his wife and kids which my friend shared via password then the rules changed and he could no longer share their account after their subscription ended so he mainly watches YouTube now.

Physical media is yours for life compared to streaming. I'll never part with them. I also love the thrill of opening up a new boxset and observing the box itself and lifting out the discs. And for most TV Show boxsets having a booklet and all the extra goodies you get on sets. These are things you miss out on with streaming, you only get the episodes.

Its obvious. They're losing money. They want to encourage more to pay for a subscription than sharing one account and paying one subscription. So if you use your account overseas on a holiday, still different IP means no access. But what if you move house or change Internet service providers you'll get a new assigned IP. That's a good point. The rules are stupid. So you virtually can't use your own streaming service you paid for if you are anywhere but in your current residence. Me, too. I do love the bookets you get. I just feel the Charmed complete series Blu-Ray boxset was kinda poorly made. It was a cheap box and had no booklet. The Supernatural complete series came with a great booklet. They have gotten lazy when it comes to the boxset itself lately.

Oh absolutely buying my DC animated shows were always detailed , BUFFY VHS artworks were fun too as well as the box sets felt interactive, the twin peaks ones, doctor who ones had detailed menus and extras and loads of things
Ib the UK it felt some extras were limited with some box sets but still like albums by artists I love I adore the artwork as I listen etc it'd all fabulous ... Love it though modern dvds get a bit lazy in some ways something's I have to physically own
I was gutted that charmed didn't have any extras until the final season

So, Sony is Disney's distributor? LOL EDIT: I mean, Disney's gotta play nice with Sony, to continue using the Spider-Man image, since Spider-Man is still owned by Sony.
