Like the that thread asking for your presences for the final five episodes, now the opposite question. What are your favorite (or preferred) opening five episodes from S1-S3?

Basing my votes off of power balance (including Phoebe's Martial Arts); would (also) prefer the sisters to be their AUTHENTIC selves, as well.

S2E3 "The Painted World" - This episode implies Phoebe's "Smart Spell" is what gave Phoebe "knowledge" to use "karate/black belt abilities", as opposed to her NATURAL Strength.
S2E4 "The Devil's Music"
S2E5 "She's a Man, Baby, a Man!" - The only time Prue uses her TK ability is when she's "a man" and NOT her AUTHENTIC self.

S3E1 "The Honeymoon's Over"
S3E2 "Magic Hour"
S3E3 "Once Upon a Time"
S3E4 "All Halliwell's Eve"
S3E5 "Sight Unseen"

S1 > S3 > S2

Listing S1 > S3 due to S1 using more primary powers than secondary ones with S2 being last.

So S2 wins. I'm surprised that S1 didn't, but I've always said it took a while for Charmed to get its footing, especially when I didn't like Prue until 'From Fear to Eternity'.

Season 2 and 3.

I was surprised S1 didn't for me. But since it's judging based off the first 5 episodes. The show took a while to really get good. I just think the stronger episodes in S1 come later.

I don't think the pilot episode was the strongest. The only strong/really good episode was Dead Man Dating. However I have to give credit to the development of the sisters and powers. Thanks Aaeiyn for pointing that out in your other threads. But the stories and villains were a bit generic. Not too many standouts apart from Jeremy maybe.
