I'm upset only cause I want to see everybody that was important to them come back in the end. They gave us 8 GREAT years and have a HUGE fanbace. I dont see why they WOULDNT WANT to be a part of the final episode. I would also like to see Cole come back in the end for Phoebe and that is the true love the cupid is preparing her for.

I wished that they put Paige's adopted parents in the finale.

Not Cole AGAIN, Prue in any form would be much more preferable to having Cole again. They have dealt with PhoeME issue that many times, wrapped it up that many times I didn't think it was possible to drag it through to the end. Prue as a little girl would be wonderful or an older Prue with Piper and Leo would be nice

Shannen
[edited by the moderator]
sorry...but that's how I feel about it. I know it was all Alyssa's fault.

It was not down to Alyssa, they had the problems but they sorted those out. As Shannen stated in another interview, there was a person in the Spelling camp that hated her for being out spoken how the show should go to make it better.

That we won't see Prue again. I don't care about whether Shannen was fired or left or whatever because when it comes down to it, the show never addressed why the sisters NOT THE ACTORS couldn't see Prue, and therefore I am still waiting for closure. Something I am sure they will forget to adress in the last episode. I'm dissapointed in the way they are finishing the series. Piper reunited with Leo, AGAIN (they've done this with practically every season), Phoebe unable to find Love (someone gag me) and Paige, the youngest and most free sister, married. Just nothing I was expecting the show to turn out to end like when I first began to watch it... Well I suppose Brad and his writing crew left it to the audience to deduce logically why we never saw Prue again. The excuse was logical back in season 4 but as many pointed out, its been 4 years later and the sisters are ready to see Prue. So why haven't they? Well its obvious because Shannon won't come back. We all know the story as well has her retaining the rights of PRue. So what could be done to include Prue, lets see. Recast? I think not, no one would go for it. Use Prue's image? Again not possible, Shannon has the rights and its clearly shown in Crimes and Witchdemeanors how they gloss over her when using the Deja Vu All over Again clip. So in the sake of the show its a big flop, what powerful witches who can summon the dead not see their dead sister? But we know better and now there are technical reasons why Prue ain't coming back, why should Brad have to even explain it, its obvious? So it sucks but that's the way it is and we can't use Shannon's departure as to show a plothole in the show because that would just be silly, there are more reasons than simple logic of the characters. P.S. what arcs need to be wrapped up concering Prue anway? And more importantly, (i know this is long so ill wrap up) Whats wrong with how the show might end. I would rather see the sisters happy and excepting their charmed lives then the cliche dying. Besides, any fan would know a main plight in their lives throughtout the show is balancing their normal lives with their wiccan and if Brad can end that plight, well thats a finale to me.

From "Ask Ausiello":
Question: Can you please tell Brad Kern to get off his butt and invite Shannen Doherty back for the Charmed finale? — Jenn
Ausiello: Let it go, people. It ain't happening. If it's any consolation, Prue will get a shout-out in the finale.

Most of us think that Prue should get a mention, she's hardly been talked about in the past 5yrs. As Kern said he was ending it how it all began and that means with PRUE in there too!!!

Brad Kern isn't making up for anything Isi. He lies and deciets everyone and puts a positive spin on everything just for PR purposes. He would make a great politician. It's because of him, not Alyssa, that Shannen was fired and it's because of him that we haven't seen her in any flashbacks (not Shannen) and because of him that there will never be any way for her to return. Prue was a very, very important character for three years, spanning 66 episodes of the show. She was the drive and when she died, the catalyst that kept the sisters fighting to avenge the source and all she gets in the last episode is a POSSIBLE SHOUT OUT?. If a shout out is the best they can do, then Charmed and Brad Kern can shove it, because I don't couldn't care less. Fans like me have kept him in business these eight years, without us he wouldn't have the "longest female leads in the history of television" title under his belt.

okay kiwi saying that its fans like you that have kept this show running that long is definitely a bit of a stretch considering ur glowing remarks in every post i read. wats there to discuss so much abt this every1 agrees kern has made some terrible mistakes that unfortunately cannot be undone and if he has gone thru 5 whole seasons without mentioning Prue then i'm sorry but that cannot be changed --- the most all fans are hoping for is that she is remembered in the finale. i am sure she will be even Brad is not a fool enough to let this one opportunity to redeem himself just one li'l bit go by. every1 knows how integral Prue was to the storyline and she will get a fond remembrance i'm sure. i'm not being caustic here --- kiwi ur my frnd. i'm just saying

Prue has been mentioned during the past 5 seasons and I know people want to see her but seriously, I don't want the last episode to focus on someone who has not been with the show for the past 5 years only to ignore the people who have been doing the heavy lifting all along.

We wouldn't be this upset over Prue if Kern had allowed more talk of her, i.e when Paige first appeared once she got over being a witch I would've thought they would've sat her down and shown her a photo album.
There were all the times Prue wasn't in her human form, ghost blob in apoclypse now could've been shown, little prue could've been shown, the only one Kern thought of showing was when she was the dog.
What an insult to us fans not to mention her more often, and she does need more than a shout in the last season, if it wasn't for her putting her life at risk PhoeME and Piper wouldn't be around either.

This thread is for posting disappointments without retaliation or bashing for other's opinions. Please be respectful of other posters rights to post their disappointments. If you don't want to read it, then don't read this thread. And Kiwi--I realize a lot of fans like you tuned in initially for Prue, but I only started watching Charmed and getting into it because of Chris and judging by how much the ratings went up in season 6 and dropped in season 7 when they didn't bring him back, so did a lot of other viewers. So feel free to complain about Prue not being in the finale, but many of her fans left a long time ago. The last five years, it's been Holly, Alyssa, Rose, Brian, Julian, and Drew that managed to help keep most of the audience invested and tuning in for the last five years and kept the show on the air for this long.

That's a very good point. I have watched since the beginning but Prue was never my favorite. I respect the Prue/Shannen fans but it has been five years. I am happy the focus will be on the sisters we have today. I would be more disappointed if adult Chris and Wyatt, Patty or Penny didn't show up in the finale than I am that Prue won't be.

I think we can all put the conversation about SD returning as Prue in the finale. The following is from another website and I quote:
"[Brad] Kern said: "Prue's memory will be kept alive and be honored, but we didn't ask Shannen to come back... The show is more about the sisters who are here, not the one who's not." Kern said during the set visit that many of the fans' favorite characters from the past will be returning. The three sisters' grandmother and mom (Penny and Patty), the "future Chris" and others will be joining the end of the show for the wedding of Phoebe. "In one scene we will have 12 characters," Kern said. "It will include family from the past and also future generations to show that the life of Charmed will go on, even if it's not on TV." Source: Sci Fi Wire ".
So please lets just move on and enjoy the rest of what is left of the show almost all of us have come to love and surely will miss.
