The Series Finale: Disappointments

I'm peeved cos if they had brought Cole back and not Prue, since she was there for 3yrs Cole only a couple of years.

From someone else who posted an interview with Kern and the actors, SD wont be coming back due to financial and internal problems (HIM)

Ok I was fine with the time travelling and starting to finally accept Shannen not coming back but Phoebe getting married is just the worst case scenario that for me puts the final nails in the coffin.
What a waste!!! I didn’t wait four seasons just to see Phoebe get married to some rush rush love interest, introduced to us in a couple of episodes.
What the hell, I cant believe this!!!!
We don’t see a missing family member but we do see phoebe get married again.
They could have saved Paige’s wedding for the finale that would have been more believable. This is just disgusting, Phoebe has had more than her fair share of episodes and for her to take the series finale by getting married to some random new boring love interest is just. I have nothing to say I’m shocked beyond belief.

I think Phoebe and Coop will be perfect for each other, I dont know why I think that but I do. Plus he's a Cupid so he knows if its true love or not and she can see the future so she could will a premonition and see if there destined to be together.

okay kiwi saying that its fans like you that have kept this show running that long is definitely a bit of a stretch considering ur glowing remarks in every post i read.

Back when Charmed was in it's early years (seasons 1-5 in particular) I used to force people to watch the show. I used to call our countries TV3 network so many times asking for them to put Charmed back on air after season five that they knew me by name and I was able to remember the extenstion number for the head programmer. People say, and I have evidence, that it's because of me season six aired in New Zealand at all.

Maybe I don't like the show anymore, but once upon a time I devoted my life to it because it was a damn good show.

My love for the show spawned KiwiCharmed, which lasted for almost two years, spanning my release of over 100 music videos viewed by tens of thousands of fans. Clips I put up also let people recap on old seasons or episodes they had missed. Those two years cost me over one thousand hours and over that money wise.

I know most of you haven't forked out a grand on your favourite show, but I have and now that I can see the show deteriorate it makes me think what a bloody waste of time it was spending my early teenage years obsessing over a show that was about to tank and sink, instead of going out more or improving my grades.

Hopefully this gives you insight into my negativity towards the show and why I feel betrayed out of eight years of my life, when I could've be watching better shows or doing other things with my time and money.

This thread is about disappointments in the series finale, not about some poster's comments about the show or about your Charmed achievements, just your disappointments in what the series finale won't have included or will have that you don't like. Please people, stay on topic.

I'm disappointed that we didn't get an entire episode this season devoted to Chris and Wyatt in the future and what their future is, but are only probably going to get brief glimpses.
But I'm grateful they will be in it at all.

I really upset that Phoebe is getting married again. SHe has been married what, three times already.

i always hated that wife of his!!! it was because of her that he had to just stop helping the sisters and he eventually left!! how cud he forget all the way frm season 1 that Andy n he had been partners and how special Prue and her sisters were to Andy and how the sisters had been there for him uncountable no. of times. I guess seeing Darryl almost die due to the Tribunal's actions at the end of season 6 was shocking to daryl's wife but she had no right to just take him away frm the sisters and he was stupid to just leave!!

I just can’t believe it, its been a while now since I heard the news that phoebe is getting married in the finale and I cant recover from it.
Paige should have been the one, she should have gotten a big wedding with everybody present, not phoebe. Wasn’t brad saying Paige has been with them for five years, is he being a hypocrite by not giving her the wedding she deserves and giving it to Phoebe who has to have everything revolve about her.

I don’t want to see Phoebe get married in the final episode of charmed its just too much, in a way its also a slap to Shannen Doherty. They don’t bother to cal her back and they have Phoebe get married in the episode. It’s like they don’t even care!

All I have to say is the episode should be more than just Phoebe’s third wedding!! To be honest why pretend its looking pretty bad from where I stand and nothing short of a miracle can save Charmed Now.
On the positive side This series finale will serve as a good conclusion to fluffy charmed season five onwards. They should also invite the leprechauns, fairies, trolls and nymphs to the wedding and Billie should be a bride’s maid holding phoebes dress. Paige can be painted on the wall she doesn’t have to be there and piper can start drinking till she gets drunk and throws up on frozen Leo.
After phoebe gets married Christie can start a huge fire under some firecrackers and we’ll get some fireworks. Hooray that would send charmed off with a big bang.

I don't understand why this show can't end with Phoebe realizing that its okay with being single and have her be happy with herself. That would show a maturing Phoebe.

I'm disappointed that it sounds like Sam won't be in the episode...I'd like to see Sam invited to Phoebe's wedding, because I'd like to finally see some confrontation and then some closure between Victor and Sam after all these years (with Patty and Paige there to mediate).

I also think it would be kewl if the Charmed Ones cast a teleportation spell, and magically summoned Darryl and Sheila from back East to attend the wedding (or Paige could just orb them across the country).

Elise will definitely be there cos i read in one of the posts a week or two back that the actress that plays Elise is coming back for the finale.

I get the feeling there is more than one reason why the sisters couldn't see Prue...

1. Grams stated to Piper that there is a period of adjustment after a person dies where they are not allowed to come back as she or Penny do. Now this is quite understandable since death is THE most traumatic event a person could experience. Now Prue may be watching, but she can't get involved at first. Besides, knowing how close she was to her mother and how traumatic Mom's death was, she, Mom and Grams will be talking for quite some time.

2. With all the good Pure has done since becoming a Charmed One, she has earned the right to be a Whightlighter if she so chooses. In either season 2 or 3 when Natalie the Whightlighter is killed by the warlock, Leo stated that Whightlighters to be go through a type of boot-camp where they undergo extensive training. Perhaps Prue is given this option. If she takes it, than we go to...

3. New Whightlighter Prue is given charges and she is busy guiding them, like Leo has several of his own besides The Charmed Ones. (As he has stated in many previous episodes.)

Now it would be nice if either Leo or Grams could at least mention Prue at some point. :

I know people dont like how things have been going but can't we just be happy that the studio is letting Brad end the show on his terms and not forcing him to do stuff. I mean he is just rushing stuff because he know that we would be real pissed off if Paige nor Phoebe got married or found there true love. People are always complaining about something but cant we just be happy the show has been on so long.
