Um, no. It may have debuted in the summer, but Army Wives will be able to run multiple seasons. It will probably be given a 22-episode order, eventually, if it hasn't already. There's no way Drew would agree to do both 22 episodes of Army Wives and 22 episodes of The Charmed Sons. Drew would be playing one of two leads in one, and the husband of a lead in another.
It would only be possible if they plan on killing Drew's character off of Army Wives. And only the showrunner knows if that's in their plans.

Well, the way AW ended the first season, he went off to the war. So, it's not like he's gonna be in every episode. And, when does it come back on?!

I don't watch Army Wives, so I don't know their return schedule. But they can't kill his character because they'd have to write out the actress who plays his wife, as she'd no longer be an "Army Wife."

The show starts again in June.
They don't have to kill his character off to get rid of him. They could send him off on a two year tour of Iraq. Not that I want that to happen. I don't think there is any chance of a spinoff now, it's totally not the type of show the CW is going for these days. And as I posted before, the CW is teetering on the brink of dissolving altogether according to more than one article I've read. The network is a failure. So I'd at least like Drew to stay employed elsewhere. But his Army Wives role is still rather small and not any sort of career making role, at least so far. If he ever were offered the lead role in his own show, I think he'd jump at the chance, if the potential show were half-way decent.

I just figured out I have one of the pics from the frame. In the frame there's a boy no one recognizes, then Paige's twin. The three other pics are not very clear but the top picture to the left, it's of the next generation of Halliwell's, they have party hats on.. One of Phoebe's girls is on it, Paige's twins and Henry Jr., Wyatt, Chris and Melinda. As soon as Katie's new IMDB Bio is up I will show it to you. You can't deny the fact that there is strong evidence that Katie did play Piper's daughter even though it was just a small role, she was there with Piper and not with Phoebe. You can believe me or not, but I'm telling the truth here. EDIT: That very same year Katie was cast in a hit television series with her fresh, wholesome looks comparable to actress Holly Marie Combs. She landed the small role of Leo & Piper's young daughter "Melinda Halliwell" in a show embraced by countless worldwide fans in television's _Charmed(1998)_. Katie's IMDB link is here: www.imdb.com/name/nm2656319/Feel free to check it out. It is clearly stated that she played Piper's daughter in the series, not Phoebe's. Katie's mother and herself have posted that bio on the page so please stop with the talk about Melinda being Phoebe's daughter.

So what? That is just so irrelevant to who the little girl is.
The line identifying the little girl was cut, therefore she is unidentified and open to interpretation.

Even if it was cut it's obvious who the girl is. Why would she be with Piper if she is really Phoebe's daughter? It does not make any sense to me whatsoever. I really doubt that Brad Kern wanted people to believe her to be Phoebe's.
People say Melinda wasn't ANYWHERE on that wall, well technically she is so you can't really say anything about that. They just didn't zoom in on the picture she was in.
Just because it wasn't said doesn't mean she didn't play Piper's and Leo's daughter. It's stated on her IMDB page done by her mother.

But...but...
*whiny voice* Phoebe, Coop, and two of their daughters were killed...so the remaining daughter went to live with Piper and Leo! Yeah, that's it....
[even though nothing in the flashforward provides any evidence of such a fate for Phoebe's family...]

Makes as much sense as to why we only saw Phoebe's family as kids while we got to see Wyatt and Chris as grownups. *rolls eyes*.

i think she is piper and leos because why would piper only have two and the others have three i mean thats not fair for that and one of you might say life is not fair but you know what they said in the begining of charmed that a hellawell woman alays had 3 kids.

And your reasoning makes as much sense as why the writers would give Phoebe a flashforward voiceover and then kill off 80% of Phoebe's family without even mentioning it.

Which makes as much sense as only having pictures on the wall of Phoebe and Paige as young. Obviously Paige and her family was killed in the same accident. Must be why we only get to see Piper and Leo as old and to hell with the other two.

And because we didn't see the attic in the flashforward from "Forever Charmed," the attic must have been completely destroyed too...

It absolutely amazes me how "fans" can spend thirteen pages arguing about how many angels can dance on the top of a pin. Folks, whether you believe it or not, the question about Piper's daughter was answered in the Official Companion Volume 2. That's as definitive a source as you're ever going to get.
Of course, that's never ever going to please the canonistas because they are absolutely impervious to reason. Read the Book of Three, Volume 2.

The only source acceptable is the actually book or movie or television episodes being analyzed. That is what's actually being discussed-outside sources are irrelvant.
My literature professors were the same way-discuss and analyze the book, period. It's the same thing.
It's always the basis of analysis in literature and film, to analyze the actual piece of work created, not drag in outside sources to connect the dots or fill in the blanks.
A film critic might interview an actor or director who might say "I was trying to show..." The film critic is still going to base his review on what he actually saw in the film, not what they say they meant to show. He's not giong to include what was cut out of the film.
You can mock sticking to what is actually shown all you want, but it's the accepted method to analyze and critique a piece of work .

All we were shown was a glimpse of the little girl in question receiving a sack lunch from Piper while being sent off to school with Wyatt and Chris.
How can we even be 100% sure the two boys were Wyatt and Chris? They were never addressed by name in the actual flashforward.
There are two assumptions: the little girl was a third child born to Piper and Leo, or the little girl was Phoebe's orphaned daughter who came to stay with Piper and Leo after her parents and two sisters were killed (a theory which there is no evidence for in the flashforward). Which one makes more sense?

OH! I like the idea of the girl being the only one who survived in Phoebe's family. Good idea. *nods*

Well, to be fair, I think it was Esmeralda's idea.
But there is no evidence in "Forever Charmed" that Phoebe, Coop, and two of their daughters suddenly die en masse in the future.
