I know that this sounds crazy but what if Zankou was really Phoebe and Cole's son? I mean, he's obsessed with the Charmed Ones after the Avatars are done. He could sense the future in a way and he's immune to the witches' power.
Maybe he had somehow gotten himself born in the past and was sealed away by the Source and was reappeared because he technically didn't exist until he was sent to the past.
Maybe Phoebe even knows about it and that is why that she was so shaken up by Zankou's manipulations.
I know but it kinda makes sense to me.

He would have to have been their son who traveled to their reality from an alternate universe...because we all know that Phoebe and The Source's unborn son (during Season 4) was killed inside the womb of The Seer (Debbi Morgan's Seer) in "Womb Raider."

The baby was Phoebe and Cole's. Despite the Source's spirit being inside Cole's body, it was Cole's little swimmers that helped conceived the baby.

Zankou was different from any other demon on that show. He was obsessed with them, he got to know them personally. Especially when reading Piper's Diary. He really didn't seem like he was wanting to kill them exactly. At least not right then and there. He just wanted access to the BOS, and the nexis.

Zankou was a brilliant demon he was smart and he nearly beat the Charmed ones he got the book off the girls and controlled the book of shadows for a while he also was a very good actor and he seemed to have fun with the role. What I liked about Zankou was that he wasn't all serious he would laugh sometimes and that made him kind of funny as well. Go the actor who played Zankou I would love to see him in more different roles. It would be funny to see him play a good role.

I think a great deal of Zankou being as popular as he was is down to Oded Fehr's charisma. Otherwise, he's not really anything new. A demon wants the Manor, a demon wants the book, a demon wants the nexus. I think it was Oded's enjoyment of playing the big bad that set him apart.
I do think he was smarter than most demons, but then the bar was incredibly low. To be honest Zankou and Cole are really the only demons in Charmed I'd consider to be even vaguely intelligent.
I always find it rather amusing that Zankou utilized Phoebe's power more productively in one episode than she did over the course of multiple seasons.
To be fair, the Charmed Ones pulled some massive out of the blue stuff from their asses just to keep him from taking them down with him.

I will always wish that Zankou was the demon who had the honor of taking out the Charmed Ones - I was rooting for him (just like I rooted for Kyra and Drake) during Season Seven much more than the Charmed Ones - and I was especially rooting for him and the demons vs those !@#e@##%$%^&%&&^&* Elders who were more demonic than the demons!

Zankou was one of the smarter villians to battle the sisters. He knew which buttons to push, and which weaknesses to exploit. His knowledge on the sisters, and their legacy, eventually led to downfall. He kept underestimating their power and intelligence, which left him very unprepared for their final battle. Zankou definitely had a brain, but simply didn't use it in the right ways.

I think in some sense he did have a brain, he knew to go for the Nexus before the sisters found out, and also, hes got the closest to killing the sisters and taking over the house than any other demon before him... He deserves some credit for that... I think cole came the closest to the charmed ones. He had also the brains. He sent Andras to the charmed ones. He had a knife in his hands when Phoebe came to him to talk about what happend with her sisters because of Andras. I think cole even absorped the nexus. It was a brillant plan that the charmed ones signed a paper who said that the manor belonged to cole. The ideas of cole were more complicated than those of Zankou. Cole took in the shadow or the woogy instead of the nexus. |
