I agree. Christy was just putting everything on Billie way to hard at one time. She didn't really have any time to stop and think like when Christy said that the Charmed Ones were using Billie. That just didn't seem right. billie befriended the charmed Ones she trusted them just like they trusted her.

I really didn't like christy at all. she was a really bad villain and kinda annoying. Also i wasn't a fan of billie. I really consider the 8th season to be the worst. However i did not hate billie and i love all seasons and i always will.

She added some funny moments to Season 8. I really liked her character up until she started to be against the Charmed Ones. Then when she realized how stupid she was and joined them again. I started to like her again!

Yeah Billie was funny and probably she remembered the Charmed Ones how it is to be witches.. But after a while I got really annoyed with her...

At first, I couldn't stand Billie. Then, she added something interesting to the show again. When Christy came along, I knew something was up, and I never really liked her.

I hated Billie's storyline. I much rather would have preferred her without her sister. The storyline with her sister was really cool, but it really took the focus of S8 off TCO. I think it belonged in S7 or S6. I think Chris' story belonged in S8 but then we would have seen less of baby Chris...

I liked Billie when I was younger and season 8 was first aired on TV. But since watching the season a couple more times on DVD I still liker her, but not to the same extent. I never understood why she was so easily convinced that the sisters were evil, just because they wanted a break? I think the writers could have done a better job there.

I actually like Billie: she was the only one that truly cared about saving innocents and hunting down demons, and who really loved being a witch. From that point of view she was a breath of fresh air. The only problem was the Ultimate Power Arc that made no sense and turned her into a too-powerful witch, and Kaley Cuoco. I just think that Kaley Cuoco wasn't a good enough actress, she wasn't good enough with dramatic scenes and over did the rest.

Kaley has proven herself to be a great comedic actress, but drama? Um, no. Although I still think it had a lot more to do with the material she was given. It's like Holly not seeming as good in this season as she was in S1-5, but look at the material she was given, having to play a cold, whiney b!tch! *shudder* Had Kaley been introduced as Billie earlier in the series when we had better writers and when we laughed with the characters when they were funny, not at them, I think I would've liked Billie a lot more.
Funny, tho, I think what I liked least about Billie is that she *did* point out how horribly the Charmed Ones, the ones who were supposed to be the stars of the show and who were rewarded at the end, had become. I so wish they'd let Christy TRULY point out how horribly they'd changed and that the Ultimate Battle would've been the Charmed Ones having to come to face with themselves and have the same decision they had in "Witch Way Now?" - use their powers how they were supposed to be used or give them up...

I agree with you, except for the part about how Christy should have pointed out how horrible they were. Because it doesn't have much of an impact on the audience if it's coming from the character who's obviously been brainwashed and raised to see the Charmed Ones as evil. Christy's point of view would be very subjective. Actually so would Billie's, but what I'm trying to say is that having Billie show that is better (at least for me), because she was a completely innocent character, who had no idea what she was getting herself into, and who genuinely wanted to help. All that emphasises the differences between her and the Charmed Ones... Christy wasn't interested in that, she had a clear plan in mind that didn't involve saving innocents or hunting demons, but Billie didn't... Hmm.... I'm not sure I'm making much sense here, and I'm pretty sure I didn't make the point I was trying to make.
I would also like to say that Billie probably would have been better accepted by the audience if she'd appeared in the show before, as an innocent that the sisters save, for example...

Thanks so much for the insight. I also agree about Billie showing up earlier. I saw a thread talking about how much better it could've been, say, for example if Billie had been the Aviva that we'd seen back in Season One...or even if she and Christy had been the Big Bad of Season Six while Wyatt (with Chris showing up) had been the Big Bad of Season Eight - ESPECIALLY if it was shown that it wasn't Gideon but PIPER who had turned Wyatt evil by the way she raised him. I'm sure fans would've accepted Billie a lot easier if they didn't know that Season Eight even existed for one reason and one reason only - to set Billie up for her own spin-off. Thank God that never happened!

I don't think drama is really Kaley's element, although to be fair I think Kern had decided Charmed was more comedy by that stage anyway... or was it just one bad joke?
Anyway, I actually grew to like Billie at the middle point. After her stupid costumed intro and before her "brain washing" towards the end. When she was just a young witch helping them out, I was okay with her being there. She could be a bit irritating at times, but she at least meant well; which is more than I can say for the sisters a lot of the time at this stage.
When she turned against them however, I lost interest in her a lot. For one thing it wasn't nearly as surprising as I think they expected it to be and for another, it made her look remarkably stupid. Although that may be partly down to the fact that the story hinged on their sisterhood and yet their relationship was hardly developed or focused on.
It also didn't help matters that Kern treated much of season 8 like a really long back door pilot for his Billie spin off. I'm not sure where they get this idea from that characters brought in with the sole intention of making a spin off are a good idea. If you have to force something into your show to spin off, you really shouldn't be making a spin off.
Ultimately, I can understand not liking Billie, but I do think she became a bit of a scapegoat for people who hated season 8 and couldn't accept that it sucked all round. Honestly, IMO that season had far bigger problems than Billie.
