*Hey, guys! Do any of you have poems that they would like to share? Post them, here! Here is one of mine: "Untitled." As the moon shines; he slides his hand over mine. He likes to be near; which makes him, so sincere. We talked, kissed, and sought; we be together, no matter what others thought. He was just a simple guy, he said; but to me, he was my best friend. In my times of trouble; he was there for me, on the double. He loves me for who I am; not by my looks or glam. As the sun starts to rise; his hand is now cold, as ice. We drove back to town; now our love has been born.

Too Deep
A trip causes a bruise a fall causes a wound
Nothing can save you, you’ve fallen too deep.
Pain soars through, nothing you can do
Nothing can save you, you’ve fallen too deep.
Split in two, you can’t win
Nothing can save you, you’ve fallen too deep.
Down the middle, the pain is too deep
Nothing can save you, you’ve fallen too deep.
The wound stays, loneliness prevails
Nothing can save you, you’ve fallen too deep.

*Well, legacy, thank you for your compliment. Here is one that I wrote when I was depressed: "Broken." As I lie awake in my bed, waiting. Waiting to die, waiting to live, waiting for an absolution that would never come. These wounds will never heal; this pain is, too much to conceal. What he says, he might not mean; but it still hurts~ just the same. You may ask why he is, this way. Well; it is alcohol, I say! As I start to think, of what he has done to me; I begin to cry~ can't you see? Oh, please; come wipe these tears away. Please tell me everything, will be okay. Please.....don't make me beg.

Sweet8, your poems are really well done.
I can't write. That one was written on a day that I was really down and actually fell down at school. I started writing it about that fall, but then it went farther to my life.
I've got one more poem that I wrote, and that's it. Fics are more my writing (though they all suck).

Assassin Witch you shouldnt be so down on yourself. The poem you posted was great and I havent read any of the fan fics yet but I am sure they are just as good if not better! The fact that you wrote the one poem shows you have the ability to do more if you choose. Maybe you just have to be in a certain frame of mind. Either way if it's something you enjoy doing dont give up on it! What you might think isnt good, others might think it is amazing!

As I continue to be told, "you are your own worst critic". *sighs* And, yes, I think I gotta be in my "depressed" mood to write poems. But, my muse is never around when I wanna write. Always there to give me ideas, but not to really write. But, thank you, Legacy. That really helps.

*SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT*
IF YOU ARE A FAN OF THE FANFICTION '3 Witches and a Holy Vampire" you may not want to read this poem. Jusy a fair warning...
"Raphael's Eulogy" 7:26 p.m. 2/24/06
Oh! How He who is Unseen has fallen! Against all odds He prevailed, And his soul set free and sailed. The Ultimate Evil, Chaos, vanquished. Gone forever until infinity. He, who is the incarnation of the Holy Spirit, Shall be the embodiment of eternity. Through 3 and the Phoenix shall He rise again...

here's one of my happier poems.. and those are hard to come by lol
Roses and Paintings
Warm kisses caressing the angels' song Heart-felt melody embrace an aching existance Gliding across time with a beautiful stranger. The withered hopes regain again For life has come back in the dead rose That once bloom in such majesty And even after all this time, The rose petals are still intact After all this time After all these doubts, Troubled thoughts boiling to explode. Instead, the rose only blossoms more each day. Opening its beautiful arms to new experiences Beauty radiants from all corners When the other blossom is present. It's so exquisite that a picture is formed. The wet paint still drips of its glorious blood. It fills the lovely roses and give off An even more splendid glow. Paint a picture with me everyday We'll paint the most beautiful scene And grow the most beautiful garden.

and here's another one
My World
I close my eyes And jump off Floating in air No clue where I am going. I let it all go It's always been better Living in my dream world Rather than face reality. I fall into the ocean I feel the water closing in Drown me in my own emotions Surround me with my own confusion The cold stings my skin A thousand needles Stab through my own flesh I clasp my bleeding heart Staring at it Nothing I can do to stop the flow The blood taints the ocean And all I see is a red blanket Clouding my vision Filling up my lungs. I am merely an existance Nothing more, Of no importance, No impact I'm stuck in time The sand has stopped dropping, My hopes splatters Across the horizon Only to disappear With the inevitable night. What I thought was true Was a lie What I thought were lies Was the truth. I can't escape this place This is my lullaby As I close my eyes To jump off again.

I'm awed by the poetry that is posted here. Sweet8 this is such a great idea.
I am my worst critic also and that prevents me from even posting what I have written. Sometimes it just prevents me from writing at all. It's like 'What a great idea! It's not gonna work out, why bother..' type thing. Weird, huh?
The poems that you guys have posted are so full of emotion... I envy your bravery.

This is something I made up. I was going through a tough time a few years ago.
"If you thought a thought you think you thought, thinking it was another thought, think it over with other thoughts."
Don't stress your brains thinking about it. :-)

LOL It took me a minute but I got it. I think this one I wrote is perfect for this thread: A Place To Start Smooth, glorious pages before me. Devoid of words, blank and cold, waiting to be filled with my thoughts, and dreams. Dreams to share with anyone who might care to read. As I stare down at this page, ideas race through my mind, and flow through my soul. Every page holds a great deal of promise. I become enraptured with the many possibilities each line represents. One day I might swoon, and speak of twighlight caresses, and long embraces. Passionate kisses during a moonlit stroll. Lovers holding hands, and exchanging knowing glances. Watching billowing waves on a bright sunny day. Another day I might be full of sorrow, and speak of sullen sour faces, death or sadness. Overcast skies on rainy cold days. Lonely men and women in a neverending state of wan. Depression, war, icy stares and icy hearts. This is a great place to start a collection of poems about something. About this thing or that thing. About something that everyone should deem valuble........Life!

I was wondering if you all minded if I posted a couple of poems that I had written some time ago.
I don't think they are as brilliant as the ones that have been posted but I don't think that they are that bad either.
I kind of want to break out of this self defeatist attitude I have about myself, ya know?
