Thomas.. the poem you posted that your friend wrote, kind of scars me. I hope that it was written out of talent and not because they were going through that much pain.

^^I agree Thomas . It was very emotional and beautifully written but so full of sorrow and pain. I would hate for anyone to feel so down trodden.


Oh and Holly you and John write so beautifully. I am in awe of you two. Two talented souls finding each other in a world weary of all that is ugly.

a poem for holly and jmasonii....

sunlight, thunder, wind, rain
joy, love, laughter, gain
the power to dream, the power to play
the power to be, the power to create
the power to think, to wish all the pain away
the power to fly, the power to sway
elements in disarray
songs, snow, sand and clay
starlight starbright i wish i might i wish i may
jmasonii and holly i wish u eternal binding in love for forever and a day

Oh No! Don't worry! Its like an emo poem! lol! Shes emo (emotional) its like a clique of people! But she doesn't feel bad! She writes so much beautiful stuff!

an angel came to save me
untangle me from despair
he saved my soul and showed me
what love was truly like

my angel was my life
no other i could love
i drifted among the treetops
he let his wings unfold

the angel went and left me
with my heart in tow
i have no one left to guide me
to save my immortal soul!

No words said on my death,
no kisses left apon my lips.
no secret whispers of goodbye,
no lasting lovers left behind.

i'll die alone,
in this empty home.
with the cruellest of fates mocking me.
he knows the truth, that i can't see,
it's not my time to leave.
but arrogance swells in my last breath,
I think i've won,
that i've escaped,
put destiny in check mate.

my eyes will open,
in a moment of surprise.
i'm still alive and fate was right,
i wasn't meant to go.
but i won't cry,
not even a tear,
instead i'll lay back.
i'll see a plan to gain release,
i'll plot my final last goodbye.

But thinking about it! they do seem really depressing! I hope she doesn't feel bad!

She truly is wonderful though!

Thomas, that poem is beautiful but I still read and feel sadness in her words. But as long as she's okay and knows that she's loved by her friends... poetry can be a great way to 'get out' all the things that hurt inside. I think that may be what she's doing.

We both do write (can you imagine the competition - lol) and we also feel very lucky to have found each other... actually, we feel like we are fated to be together. That's my side of the story- his side may be different - lol

She is sitting there
on the banks of the Nile
waiting for an answer
an answer that will never come this way

She is weeping there
on the edge of sanity
searching for a reason
a reason to stay

She is praying there
on the brink of disaster
asking for a path
a path upon which to stray

She is hoping there
on the doorway of despair
wishing for a rainbow
a rainbow to find today

She is dying there
on the stairway to heaven
screaming for a love
a love that was lost
a love that was broken
a love that was burnt
the love that they made

Okay, about jmasonii and I. Well you kind of have to go on page two to read his thread 'My Heart and Soul' here in the open discussion area. That's when the news first broke out. Since then, through the poetry threads here and his FanFic that he's writing and in the games area (I know- confusing huh?) we really haven't been keeping it a secret.

In a nutshell, we are together
and have been for over 5 months. And thank you for the Blessing Blessings are a very, very good thing.
