I've started two threads for the most ridiculous and most irritating characters on Charmed. How about a more positive one. Who was the best guest character on Charmed.
To be a guest character, and I'm eliminating any recurring role characters, unless there were a number of episodes between their appearances, like Rose's old college friend, Glen. So Drake, Grams, their mom, avatars, etc. are out, but the Angel of Death or Destiny is in. Just one time guest characters, who were never seen again or at least not without many episodes between appearances.

I would say Melinda Warren, but how did she help the girls? They didn't pay much attention from their ancestors.

I'm going with Bianca. Maybe I'm bias, but I guess that's the point. The reason I love and talk about her, is because she's my favorite guest star. And, I know the topic is "best", but what is "best"? Everyone has their own opinion on the word best. So, Bianca is my "best" guest character.
"Chris-Cross" was very well written, acted, and directed. Having Bianca in the episode gave us a better (or worse *looks at Es*) view of Chris and his reasons. Not only does he want his brother to be HIS BROTHER, and the world to be "good", he wants to be able to have an actual relationship with his fiancee and he wants her to be happy. Also, Bianca, in my opinion, was the one to concoct the plan because, I honestly do not think Chris could have thought of that all by himself.
We also got to understand her feelings. I LOVE that she's this hard core assassin, and hates every minute of it. Until Wyatt decided to send someone after his brother and B/C began. One of my favorite scenes in Charmed is between Future Bianca and her mother.
WOMAN: Wait, do you have to leave so soon? Can't I help? BIANCA: Yeah. Someday when I ask you what it feels like to kill, don't lie to me. Don't tell me you don't feel a thing.
The Charmed Ones aren't the only ones who wish they weren't burdened by their family obligations, and it was nice to really get some emotion. We haven't seen that in a LONG time, besides whiny and words about wanting a normal life. Just looking at Bianca's expression as she says it really makes you feel her pain.

AW: Your choice is certainly fine as by "best" I did mean the one you liked best or felt played the character very well.
For me, and although he was a semi-recurring character, his episodes were separated by many others. I'm referring to the Angel of Death character. He had four appearances spread over almost the entire eight years. He (I could look up his name, but just can't recall it now) is a wonderful actor who recreated his role perfectly and acted it brilliantly, I think. You could tell he was a well trained actor, who has probably done a lot of stage work. He just had a great presence and a great role as someone who has to do terrible things, but is not terrible, he just is. As he put it, "I'm not about why, I'm only about when."

My favorite guest role would have to be Sam. He should count because he first appears in season 2 and does not reappear until season 5 I think it was.
Even though he only appeared twice I think he was still a well developed character especially when Paige came in giving him most of his story. I loved how he really cared about Patty so much that he clipped his own wings when she was killed. Even though it was an affair I was actually really glad that they had a relationship he is a great guy and they really cared about each other.
I was also glad that during his reappearance in season five he was able to meet his daughter.

For me, and although he was a semi-recurring character, his episodes were separated by many others. I'm referring to the Angel of Death character. I wholeheartedly agree!! For contrast, I would place Kira the Seer second on my list. I thought she brought vulnerability, a natural sensuality and an impeccable sense of comic timing to the role making her a demon impossible to hate. When, after dodging a fireball, she exclaims "I can't believe I slept with that guy" she could easily have been any old friend from my college days!

Id have to say either the Angel of Death or Barbus(i think thats how you spell it ) I just think they played their roles amazingly well and they brought something new to the show every time they returned.

I liked Jesse Woodrow (Glen Ballad) and Wes Ramsey (older Wyatt). I had chance to talk with them (through emails) and they really deserved to be there.

Most definitely Glenn (Jesse Woodrow) and Sam (Scott Jaeck)!
Glenn and Paige just oozed cuteness and there was so much potential if only Jesse had had time during his filming schedule to fit in a full recurring Charmed role!
And Sam, well, he was amazing in "P3 H20" and then his two later episodes where he finally gets to meet and work with his little girl just make my heart burst. It was so sweet. I just feel for Sam so much!

Okay I like Billy Zanes Character; funny, charming, handsome. Nice to know he does look good with or without hair lol. Was interesting to find out that on his last day he helped Pheobe out but was even more intesting to find out Cole had something to do with it.

My best guest character would have to be Simon Templeman, the Angel of Death. He portrayed his role so well. You just had to listen to what he had to say, whether you wanted to or not. I always thought it had something to do with his voice and the way he said things. And it's no wonder, since he's also well-known as a voice actor.

If you look her up on IMDB.com it will show you her whole filmography and if she was in a Charmed episode, it will list it and give you her character name.
