“Third Time’s the Charm”

Teaser

Ext. Street-Night-Storming

[The night is late and dark. The rain pounds on the street and the few passing cars. Only the lights that illuminate the sign for the apartment complex can be seen. A group of four people run across the street and into the complex. As they run past the lights, their appearances can be seen. A man, brown eyes, handsome, rich brown hair. Three women, a blonde, brunette, and red-head. The brunette speaks, her words faint through the rain.]

Brunette: Building A!

[The group just manage to hear her and run to the building, then run up up the stairs. They stop as they stand in front of the door.]

Blonde: This is it?

[The blonde inhales and exhales nervously and knocks on the door. A child’s cry can be heard from inside. A man, mid-50’s, Victor Bennet, opens the door, holding his crying grandson Christopher.]

Victor: Now’s not a good time. Thank you.

[Victor begins to close the door but the red-head stops him.]

Red-head: Please. Wait.

Victor: I have a child. I don’t have time for this.

Man: Please.

Victor: Just who in the hell do you think you are?

[The group step back into a perfect line. The three women join hands.]

Women: As another, we appear to everyone
Allow us to reveal ourselves as The Charmed Ones

Act 1

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Night

[Phoebe and Paige are sitting on a couch, now dry. Piper is sitting down, her attention directed to Chris whom she is holding. Leo is sitting on the arm of the couch. Victor walks in with a platter of coffee. He hands Paige, Phoebe, and Leo a cup of coffee. He looks at them, lost for words.]

Victor: How? But…

Phoebe (smiling): Prue.

Victor: But why wait so long? It’s been three weeks. We’ve had your funeral and everything.

Leo: We had to lay low for a little while. We don’t want the Elders to know they survived. Or I’m not missing.

Victor: They’ve been here already. They’re the ones that told me… (he chokes up a little)…they told me you guys were dead.

Phoebe: Oh, it’s ok daddy.

[Phoebe gives her father a hug. As she breaks from the hug, she gasps as she receives a premonition.]

*Premonition*

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Guest Bedroom-Night

[Wyatt is sleeping in the bed. Two demons blink in, an athame in each of their hands. They walk over to Wyatt.]

*End of Premonition*

Paige: What? What did you see?

Phoebe: Wyatt!

[Phoebe gets up and runs out. Piper hands Chris to Leo and joins Paige who runs after Phoebe.]

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Guest Bedroom-Night

[Phoebe, Paige, and Piper run in. Phoebe turns on the light as two warlocks blink in.]

Paige: Piper, quick. Blow them up!

[Piper gestures to blow them up, but the demon only flinches.]

Warlock #1: The Charmed Ones?

Warlock #2: Come on.. Let’s go.

[The two demons blink out.]

Paige: Busted.

[Victor and Leo walk in. Leo’s holding Chris. Wyatt begins to wake up.]

Wyatt: Mommy?

Piper: Yes. Mommy’s here.

[Piper sits next to Wyatt and kisses him on the forehead.]

Leo: Vanquished?

Paige: Not exactly.

Victor: Why would they want the boys?

Phoebe: It’s warlocks' main M.O. To steal…

Victor: A witch's powers. I know. But the boys don’t have their powers anymore.

Piper: What?!

Victor: The Elders took their powers away after they thought you died. They told me they’d give them back to the boys when they were adults.

Leo: It makes sense. Victor can’t protect the boys much less himself against evil.

Paige: Where’s the Book of Shadows? Those warlocks had some power. We need to vanquish before they rat us out.

Piper: It’s probably too late for that.

Victor: The Elders took the Book of Shadows too. They didn’t want to risk it getting stolen.

Paige: We’re screwed.

Victor: There’s something else I need to tell you.

[Victor hands them a newspaper off the nightstand.]

Piper: What is it?

[Closeup on the paper's top headline: “The Late Halliwell Sister WITCHES”.]

Victor: It’s all over the news.

[Victor turns on the TV. The sisters listen to anchor.]

Anchor: After the discovery of the occult items and the sisters’ diary which explains all the mysteries explaining all the deaths. Agent Keyes and Homeland Security have initiated a witch hunt. Citizens are advised to stay away from witches. If you encounter or suspect a witch, contact The S.F.P.D immediately. Thank you, and have a safe night.

[Victor turns off the TV.]

Phoebe: Oh my God.

Paige: Magic has been…

Piper: Exposed.

End of Act 1


Act 2

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Dining Room-Morning

[Phoebe and Paige are at the table silent. Piper enters the room and takes a seat.]

Piper: You guys couldn’t sleep either?

Phoebe: We’ve worked so hard to get magic out our lives. Now we’re back to square one.

Paige: We have no choice. The Cleaners are the only ones that can fix this.

[Paige gets up from the table and walks into the center of the living room. Piper and Phoebe do the same.]

Phoebe: Piper. Don’t you want to wait to Leo is here?

Piper: I don’t want him to get worried over nothing. Dad either. Let’s just get this over with.

[Paige closes her eyes and concentrates. A jingle is heard, and Sandra orbs in.]

Sandra: The Charmed Ones? But how…

Phoebe: We don’t have time to explain. Please just tell the Cleaners can fix this.

Sandra: Unfortunately, they cannot.

Piper: Why not? They can erase my son when he exposes magic? But they can’t do it now?

Sandra: The Cleaners cannot erase all the magic exposed. The witch hunts are spreading like wildfire. It’ll be everywhere pretty soon. The Cleaners don’t have that much power left.

Paige: So you guys are just going to sit back and let these witches dies?

Sandra: Don’t get smart with me. This is all your fault.

Piper: How dare you. How is it our fault magic became exposed?

Sandra: You didn’t clean up after your mess. You faked your death and left potions, spells, candles, athames, diaries, and everything else behind. You’re going to have to come with me.



Piper: Like hell we are.

[Piper heads for the door. Her sisters follow.]

Sandra: And just where do you think you’re going?

Piper: We have a world to save.

Int. Police Station-Day

[Phones are ringing off the hook as officers find it difficult to answer all the calls. Two officers walk in with a woman, hysterical. They approach Agent Keyes.]

Officer: She failed the test.

Woman: I am not a witch!

[She spits in Agent Keyes face. He slowly wipes it off. He laughs.]

Agent Keyes: Take with the others.

[The woman kicks and screams as the officers take her away.]

Int. Manor-Entrance-Day

[Phoebe, Piper, and Paige, now in their glamoured form, walk up the stairs. Two officers with loaded guns are standing in front the door.]

Officer: I’m sorry you must…

[Suddenly, he and the other officer freeze.]

Glamoured Phoebe: Piper!

Piper: Magic’s already been exposed.

[Piper opens the door and leads her sisters into the manor. They look around, the place trashed.]

Piper: WE should check to attic. See of phoebe can get a vision.

Paige: What good will that do?

Piper: I don’t know! (she calms down) “I’m sorry. I’m just really scared.

Phoebe: We’ll get through this.

[The sisters hug. The hold each other’s hand and walk up the stairs.]

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Living Room-Day

[Leo walks in to find a group of Elders in the room.]

Leo: What do you want?

Sandra: Leo. Calm down. We just need to talk.

Leo: We’re down with you guys. Leave us alone.

Sandra: Leo, we’re here to warn you.

Leo: Warn me of what?

Int. Manor-Attic-Day

[The attic door is kicked off the frame. The sisters walk in. The attic is worse than the rest of the house. Destroyed from one end to the other.]

Paige: Animals.

[Piper looks around..]

Piper: Thank God the Book of Shadows wasn’t here.

[Phoebe bends over and notices a pile of ash on the floor. She runs her hands through it is gasps as she receives another premonition.]

*Premonition*

Ext. Golden Heights-Night

[Numbers of women are tied to a stake. Three of the women, Piper, Phoebe, and Paige. A tear rolls down each of their cheeks as Agent Keyes laughs. He throws down a match, and fire quickly begins to flame.]

*End of Premonition*

[Phoebe falls to the ground. Piper and Paige quickly run over to their sister to help her up.]

Piper: What did you see?

Phoebe: Us. Burned at the stake.

End of Act 2

Act 3

Int. Manor-Attic-Day

Piper: The burning must be tonight.

Paige: I say we go back to Victor’s, lock the door, and hide.

Phoebe: We can’t. We have to save the other witches that are going to be killed tonight.

Piper: But how. We don’t have anyway to get to Agent Keyes.

Phoebe: Actually, I think we do.

[Suddenly, two warlocks blink in. One quickly throws Piper across the room.]

Warlock: They are alive.

Phoebe: Yup. We are alive. And still kickin’ behind.

[Phoebe quickly gives the warlock a spiral kick to the face. He drops to the floor. Piper gets back up. The warlocks create athames in their hands. Piper gestures, freezing them.]

Paige: Athames!

[The two warlock’s athames orb into Paige’s hands. She throws both of them at the warlocks, vanquishing them. As they vanquish, the athames and two police badges are left .]

Phoebe: We need to get out of here.

Paige: And where do we go? Everyone’s after us.

[Piper turns to them, one of the police badges in her hand.]

Piper: I think I know where we need to go.

Ext. Manor-Entrance-Day

[The sisters run out the house, not even realizing the two guards Piper froze are no longer there.]

Ext. Darryl’s House-Entrance-Day

[The sisters are back into their glamoured appearances. Piper knocks on the door, her sisters behind her. Sheila opens the door. She seems devastated.]

Glamoured Piper: Is Darryl here?

Sheila: I’m sorry. I have to go.

[She begins to close the door. Piper stops her. The sisters recite the spell, and appear as Piper, Phoebe and Paige.]

Sheila: You pregnant dog!

[Sheila goes to hit Piper. Piper quickly freezes her. Piper steps out of the way and on freezes her. Sheila misses.]

Sheila (outraged): How DARE you use magic on me?!

Phoebe: Sheila, calm down. What’s going on?

Sheila (outrage and devastated): What’s going on? What GOING ON?! I’ll tell you what’s going on. Darryl is being burned tonight with the others. Because YOU GUYS screwed up. Darryl has done so much for you guys, and you just leave him high and dry? I hope you burn in hell.

Phoebe (tearing up): I’m sorry…

Sheila: Oh, don’t tell me sorry. Tell my son. Tell my son he’s never going to see his father again.

[The sisters look at Sheila, devastated. Their mistakes have finally caught up with them, and they finally see this. Paige wipes her tears and clears her throat to speak.]

Paige: Sheila please. You can kill me later, but right now this is important. We need to know whose leading these trials.

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Day

[Leo is sitting on the couch thinking. The Elders now gone. He gets up and begins to pace.]

Leo: I’m leaving.

[Victor grabs his arm.]

Victor: No your not.

Leo: Victor, it’s my wife.

Victor: And it my daughters! (lowers his tone) The boys already thought they lost both of their parents. Don’t do this to them again.

Int. Police Station-Early Evening

[The sisters, glamoured, walk in. An officer approaches them.]

Officer: How did you get in here?

[Piper gestures, freezing the whole room. The sisters walk to the main office. The close the door. Agent Keyes is at his computer. He looks at the sisters.]

Agent Keyes: May I help you?

Sisters: As another, we appear to everyone

Allow us to reveal ourselves, as the charmed ones

[White lights appear over the sisters are transform them back into their normal appearances.]

Agent Keyes: The Charmed Ones. And here I thought you were dead.

Paige: And here I thought you were mortal.

Agent Keyes: Would you like to be dead again? This time forever.

Piper: Don’t threaten us…

Agent Keyes: Or what? You’re going to throw another power of three couplet in my face?

[Piper gestures, blasting him into the wall. He asks as if nothing happen.]

Agent Keyes: Nice trick. Want to see mine.

[Agent Keyes waves his hand, and the station unfreezes. Six officers bust in. Two grab each sister.]

Keyes: I think we should have the burnings a little more earlier that scheduled.

End of Act 3

Act 4

Int. Chamber-Day

[Piper, Phoebe, and Paige are thrown into large room with other witches and suspected witches. The room is dark.]

Paige: So Keyes is a warlock?

Phoebe: And so is his officers. He must killed the real officers, and had warlocks take their identities.



Woman: Hi, I’m Hailey.

Phoebe: Hi. I’m Phoebe…

Hailey: We know how you are. You’re responsible for this. People are dieing because of you.

[Piper gestures, trying to blow up the door. The room flashes and nothing happens.]

Hailey: It’s protected against witches’ magic.



Paige: What’s going on?



Woman: They beat him. The officers.

[The sisters get a better look and see the man is Darryl. The kneel to his side. As they do, the chamber door unlocks and opens. Many officers are standing in the doorway.]

Officer: It’s time.

Ext. Golden Heights-Night

[The officers are tieing people to stakes. Agent Keyes stands in front of it all, a torch in his hand. Ready to set fire.]

Agent Keyes: Use any magic, and you will face a fate far worse than death.

[Piper, Phoebe, and Paige are tied up next to each other.]

Phoebe: On the count of three. ONE-TWO-THREE!

[Paige orbs out. In midorb she grabs her sisters, and they orb out.]

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Night

[Piper, Phoebe, and Paige orb in. Victor and Leo hug the sisters.]

Leo: Thank God.

[Piper picks up Wyatt. Phoebe picks up Chris. As she does, she gasps as she receives another premonition.]

*Premonition*

[Fire is blazing.]

*End of Premonition*

Paige: What did you see?

Phoebe: We have to go back. If we don’t die, they’ll burn the boys too.

Leo: We’ll hide.

Piper: Phoebe’s right. We have to go back.

Paige: Maybe we’re being punished.

Leo: Punished for what? Saving the world every week?

Paige: We’ve been putting our lives in front of others. How many innocents have we saved this year?

[Piper begins to hug and kiss her boys.]

Piper: mommy’s going to leave tonight. But I’m gonna make a big breakfast for you tomorrow. Ok?

[Wyatt nods yes. Piper begins to cry. She kisses both boys on the forehead. She stands up and looks at Leo. A tear running down her cheek. She tries to smile.]

Piper: Leo, how do you feel about women who make the last move?

Leo: Piper, please…

Piper: I love you.

[Piper passionately kisses Leo for one last time. Victor gives each of the girls a hug.]

Paige: We’ll always be here. Don’t forget that.

Ext. Golden Heights-Night

[Piper, Phoebe, and Paige orb in. Officers quickly grab them and begin to tie them up again.]

Paige: Piper?

Piper: Yeah.

Paige: Remember that twenty dollars you lost the month? I kind of used it to get my nails done.

[They laugh. It’s silent.]

Agent Keyes: Let the fire cleanse you evil souls!

[Agent Keyes places down the torch and the fires begin.]

Phoebe: I love you guys.

[The fire reaches the sisters and completely engulf them, taking their death.]

Part Two

Teaser

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Night

[Leo is sitting on the couch quiet. A swaddle of orbs appears in front of him. He jumps up, hoping it’s the sisters.]

Leo: Piper?

[Leo’s hope slips away as the orbs materialize into Sandra.]

Sandra: I’m sorry, Leo. The sisters didn’t make it.

[Victor, who is in the kitchen, breaks a glass. Leo sits back down.]

Leo: So you guys just sat back and watch those witches and other innocent people die?

Sandra: Leo, we had no other option. Hopefully, the sisters will be the last.

Leo: Hopefully? You all decided not to save my family because of hope? And then you’re going to come here and act like you care. Where were you guys when Prue died?

Victor: Leo…

Leo: Or when Chris died?

[Sandra is silent.]

Leo: Get out. GET OUT!

Sandra: We are terribly sorry.

[Sandra orbs out. Leo places his hands over his face, not wanting anyone to see his pain.]

Int. Police Station-Agent Keyes’s Office-Night

[An officer/warlock walks in.]

Officer: You said you wanted to see me?

Keyes: Yes. I want you to acquire Leo, the girls’ former white-lighter, for me. He’s going to be burned next.

Act 1

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Dining Room-Morning

[Chris is in the high chair. Wyatt is at the table, not eating anything.]

Victor: Wyatt, why aren’t you eating?

[Leo walks in.]

Leo: He wants pancakes, like Piper promised him before…

Victor (to Wyatt): I’ll make you some pancakes, ok?

[Wyatt nods his head yes. He doesn’t seem enthusiastic about it though.]

Leo: I’m going to go out for a for a minute.

Victor: Leo, don’t do anything crazy.

Leo: I’ll try.

[Victor grabs his arm.]

Victor: I need you to promise me you will.

Leo: I can’t do that.

[Leo gives Wyatt a hug. He kisses Chris on the forehead. Wyatt gives his father a high-five, while Chris giggles and says his first word, "Dada". Leo walks out, while Victor despairingly watches.]


Ext. Darryl’s House-Day

[Leo knocks on the door. There’s no answer. Leo knocks on the door again.]

Leo: It’s me. Leo.

[The door opens to see a devastated Sheila.]


Sheila: I told the sisters…

Leo: The sisters were burned last night.

[Sheila allows Leo to walk in.]

Int. Darryl’s House-Living Room-Day

[Leo is sitting on the couch across from Sheila.]

Leo: How’s DJ?

Sheila: He doesn’t eat. He doesn’t play…

Leo: Sounds like Wyatt.

[There’s an awkward silence until Sheila finally speaks.]

Sheila: It was the middle of the night. We had just gotten back from a movie. I remember because Darryl got popcorn butter all over his shirt. (she laughs, trying to hold back the tears) “There was so many of them. So strong.

Leo: Who is them?

Sheila: The officers. But they weren’t normal. They looked like pure evil. Right out of hell. Darryl told me to go in DJ’s room. (she begins to cry) That was the last time I ever saw him.

[Leo gets up, his face now full with anger. He begins to walk out.]

Sheila: Leo, where are you going?

Int. Police Station-Day

[Leo bursts in. An officer runs up to him. Leo punches him in the mouth. The officer falls down. The officer gets back up, his face turning demonic. Officers grab Leo.]

Agent Keyes (off screen): Stop.

[Leo sees Agent Keyes in front of him.]

Agent Keyes: Let him go.

[The officers look at each other hesitant.]

Agent Keyes: Now!

[The officers let go him.]

Agent Keyes: Well, if it isn’t the former white-lighter.

Leo: Burn in…

Agent Keyes: Burn? As in like your wife last night?

[Leo goes to punch him, but a force field sends Leo flying.]

Agent Keyes: You can’t beat me. Not without the Power of Three.

[Agent Keyes walks to Leo.]

Agent Keyes: But don’t feel sad. You’ll be joining your wife soon. And so shall you children.

[Leo gets up, outraged.]

Leo: Don’t you dare threaten my kids.

Agent Keyes: Take him to the chambers!

[Officers grabs Leo. Suddenly, the room freezes. Leo looks around. Everyone is frozen but him. He gets himself out of the officers’ grasp.]

Leo: Hello?

[There’s no answer.]

Leo: Who’s here?



Voices: Us.

[Leo turns to see the Avatars.]

Avatar Alpha: Nice to see you again, Leo.

[Leo looks at them, not knowing what's in store.]

End of Act 1

Act 2

Int. Police Station-Day

[Leo backs away from the Avatars]

Leo: How? But…

Avatar Gamma: We just want to help, Leo.

Leo: You killed innocent people.

Avatar Alpha: Perhaps we should talk about this somewhere else.

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Day

[Leo is sitting on the couch, listening to The Avatars.]

Leo: Why now? Why right after the sisters…

Avatar Gamma: We weren’t planning on coming back for awhile. Not until we felt the world was ready for it.

Leo: And you think the world is ready now?

Avatar Alpha: Of course not. We want to help, Leo.

Leo: Well unless you can bring the sisters back…

Avatar Alpha: Actually, we can.

Victor (entering): What is he talking about, Leo?

Avatar Gamma: Leo, you’ve seen for yourself we can bring back the dead.

Leo: What’s the catch?

Avatar Alpha: No catch, Leo. You see, we still want a world good for everyone. The world may not be ready for Utopia now, but it will never be ready for what’s occurring now.

Victor: We’ll do it.

Leo: Victor…

Victor: Leo…

Leo: Victor, I lost them, too. I lost my wife. I lost the mother of my children.

Victor: Then why are you so damn hesitant?!

Leo (yelling): Because I don’t want to lose them again! (lowers tone) If we bring them back, they’re just going to be burned again. And I can’t lose Piper again. I can’t live through it.

Avatar Gamma: With their power, we can stop this.

Victor: Leo. Put yourself in my shoes. If you lost your boys, you would do anything to bring them back, right?

[Leo is silent.]

Victor: Do it.

Ext. Golden Heights-Day

[Avatar Gamma, Alpha, and Leo teleport in. Leo looks at the ashes, All victims of the cruel burnings.]

Leo: You’re sure this is going to work? Because if this doesn’t…

Avatar Alpha: It will.



Paige: How? I thought we were…

Avatar Alpha: Dead? You were.

Leo: Piper?

[Leo runs over to Piper and hugs her. They kiss.]

Leo: Piper, I thought I’d never see you again.

[Some officers spot them.]

Avatar Gamma: We should leave now.

[The other Avatars teleport out. Alpha and Gamma stay behind, teleporting the sisters and Leo out with them.]

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Day

[Gamma, Alpha, Leo, and the sisters teleport in. Wyatt jumps from his seat and runs into his mother's arms. Victor hugs Phoebe. Paige picks up Chris and hugs him.]

Victor: My little girl.

[The door suddenly bursts open. The sisters look around, not seeing anything or anyone. At that moment, two or three police/warlocks blink in. They quickly slap the sisters, sending the three of them into the wall. They hit the wall and then fall to the floor. Piper gestures to freeze them, but nothing happens.]

Piper: I can’t freeze!

[The warlocks create athames.]

Paige: Athames!

[Nothing happens.]

Paige: My powers are gone, too.

[The Avatars gesture, vanquishing the warlocks. The sisters walk to The Avatars.]

Paige ;Where are our powers?

Avatar Gamma: We have them.

Paige: Well, you can give them back now.

Avatar Alpha: Unfortunately, we cannot.

Phoebe: Give us our powers now!

Avatar Gamma: It’s for the greater good.

Piper: We can’t do any good without our powers.

Leo: You lied to me!

Avatar Gamma: We had to. We had no other choice.

Paige: And what exactly do you plan on doing with our powers?

Avatar Alpha: Create Utopia.

End of Act 2

Act 3

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Night

[Phoebe and Paige are on the couch. Piper is pacing across the room.]

Phoebe: Piper, could you stop?

Piper: It helps me think.

[Phoebe gets up and stops Piper.]

Phoebe: I know, but we need to think together.

Paige: How about the spell to call for a witch’s powers?

Phoebe: But we don’t have any powers at all. We can’t even scry, cast spells, or make potions.



Voice (off screen): Good thing you don’t need powers to the make the potion I need you to.

[The sisters turn to see none other than Zankou. Phoebe quickly gives him a scissors kick straight to the chest, He gets back up, brushing himself off.]

Zankou: Good to see you, too.

Paige: How are you still alive? We blew you up with the Shadow.

Zankou: Just as you had your ways, I had mine.

[They back away from him, Piper in the front of her to sisters. Phoebe to her left, Paige to her right.]

Zankou: Don’t worry. I need you alive. I need you to help me stop the Avatars and undo this exposure.

Phoebe: How do we know it’s not a trap?

Zankou: You don’t. But anything is better than this, right?

Int. Avatar Quarters-Night

[The other Avatars are around their circular table. They watch in the center a burning. A female Avatar speaks.]

Female Avatar: Sickening.

[The hologram disappears. Avatar Alpha speaks.]

Avatar Alpha: The world is ready now.

Female Avatar: But the world is covered with evil. Warlocks and demons roam the streets freely.

[Another Avatar speaks.]

Avatar: She is correct. We cannot create Utopia with so much evil.

[Zankou is examining the walls. The sisters are looking at him confused. They hold each others hand.]

Paige: Can we hurry up and get this done with?

[Zankou turns, an energy ball in his hand.]

Zankou: Shut up!

Piper: My sister is right. The Avatars could do it at any minute.

Zankou: Well, let’s begin.

Int. Victor’s Apartment-Night

[Zankou and the sisters flame in. The place is trashed.]

Phoebe: My vision. They’re going to burn them all.

Zankou: We have to go.

Piper: No. I have to save my family.

Zankou: We do not have time. It’s your family or the world.

Paige: You can’t just throw us an ultimatum like that. We won’t choose.

Zankou: You have no choice. Your family or the world.

Piper: You sick bastard.

[Piper goes to hit him. Paige and Phoebe stop her. Piper begins to tear up.]

Phoebe: Just do it.

Int. Avatar Quarters’-Night

[The sisters and Zankou flame in.]

Zankou: I was wondering what took you so long.

[Each sister has two potions in her hand.]

Avatar Alpha: Come to stop us?

[They’re silent.]

Avatar Alpha: Then you shall join us.

[Piper throws a potion at Avatar Alpha. Alpha throws a bolt of lightning at Piper, sending her flying. The potions Piper had break and enter the Avatars, knowing exactly where to go, killing them as it does.]

Phoebe: Piper!

Zankou: The sooner you vanquish them, the sooner you save your sister.

[Phoebe and Paige begin to launch potions, entering the Avatars, killing them. Zankou throws potions as well. The Avatars send lightning at Phoebe and Paige, sending them flying. Eventually all the Avatars die. Zankou looks at the three sisters, who are dying.]

Act 4

Zankou: Nice job, ladies.

[Suddenly, Wyatt orbs in. He runs over to Piper. He shakes her. He begins to cry.]

Wyatt: Mommy? Mommy? Mommy, wake up!

Zankou(to himself): They unbound the little brat's powers. Wouldn't want to risk the Warren line would they?

[Zankou slowly creeps behind Wyatt. He creates an energy ball. Zankou throws the energy ball. As he does, orbs fill Wyatt’s eyes. The sisters and Zankou orb out.]

Int. Manor-Attic-Night-Past--shown in black-and-white

[The sisters are talking.]

Piper: Well, try. It’s the only way we’re going to end this. We find Joanna, we find the Alchemist. Then we use him to find Zankou.

[The crystal drops on the map.]

Paige; Found her. She’s in a cemetery.

Phoebe: Not good. Never good.

[Suddenly, the sisters began to glow, as if returning from an orb, and the whole scene becomes in color as their future dyng souls enter their past bodies.]

Paige: What happenned?

Piper: I think we’re in the past.

[She looks around.]

Piper: Right before Zankou got the Book of Shadows.

Phoebe: We got a second chance.

Piper: Come on. I got an idea.

Int. Mausoleum-Night

[The sisters orb in behind the Alchemist. Piper pulls out a piece of paper.]

Alchemist: But…

[Piper gestures, freezing him.]

Sisters: Let flesh be flesh and bone be bone
The Alchemist shall transform none,
Cruel scientist of evil born
With these words face the fire’s scorn.

[The Alchemist vanquishes, and with him the Zombies. Zankou flames behind him. The sisters turn to face him.]

Zankou: I figured it happened to you, too. I may not have gotten you the first time. But I will get you the second time around. And next time, Wyatt won’t be there to save you.

Piper: We’ll be waiting.

[Zankou flames out.]

Int. Manor-Attic-Night

[The sisters walk into the attic.]

Paige: How are we going to vanquish him?

Phoebe: I don’t know. But we have to.

[The pages of the Book of Shadows begin to flip. Piper smiles.]

Piper: Thanks, Prue!

[The Book stops on a blank page. Words begin to appear. “To vanquish Vankarias”.]

Int. Manor-Attic-Night-Later

[The sisters are sitting around a table. On it are five candles. In the center is a cauldron. Piper adds an herb to it. It blows.]

Piper: Ready?

[The sisters hold hands and cast the spell.]

Sisters: Magic forces black and white,
Reaching out through space and light,
Be he far or be he near,
Bring us the warlock Vankarias here



Piper: Now.

[Paige and Phoebe orbs out, and back behind Vankarias. Phoebe turns him. She goes to kick him, but he blocks it, and throws her into the wall. He sends Paige flying as well. He speaks to Piper, his voice demonic.]

Vankarias: Now it’s just you and me.

[Piper gestures, freezing him. She runs over to her sisters.]

Piper: Paige! The potion!

Paige: Potion!

[Paige waves her hand, orbing the potion on Vankarias. He unfreezes and screams. He yells ones last times and vanishes in a scarey, firey vanquish. The sisters turn their heads.]

Paige: It's over. We did it.

[The sisters hug.]

Int. Manor-Kitchen-Morning

[The boys are in their high chairs, eating. Piper hands Leo a plate. She then kisses him.]

Leo: What’s all this for?

Piper: I love you.

Leo: I love you, too.

Ext. Manor-Porch-Morning

[Phoebe and Paige are looking at the street in the sunny day. Piper joins them.]

Piper: Leo doesn’t remember anything. Whatever Wyatt did, he just sent us and Zankou back.

Phoebe: Yeah, I’m already getting a headache trying to figure it out. Can we stop?

[Piper and Paige laugh.]

Paige: All that matters is that we learned our lesson.

Phoebe: Yeah, Too bad Zankou’s still around. But at least we got rid of Vankarias.

Piper: And The Avatars. They’re not affected by anything. They’re outside of time and space. I don’t want to waste our second chance. We’ve got to be smarter about things. But innocents first. Let’s pinky-swear.

Phoebe: I haven't done that in years.

[The sisters interlock their pinkies.]

Piper: To the Power of Three.

[They laugh and then hug.]

Piper: I love you, guys.

[The paper boy throws the paper on the steps. Phoebe gets it. She gasps as she receives a vision.]

Phoebe: Ladies, I think we have our first innocent.

[Paige holds out her elbows.]

Paige: Shall we?

[The sisters interlock elbows and orb out.]

But, just two questions. Who is Vankarias? What does he have to do with the story. Oh. Never mind, I think I know. Is that supposed to be Agent Keyes's warlock name? You didn't explain that. You just said Keyes was a warlock and later they vanquished a guy named Vankarias. But otherwise, it was really great. And it saved Darryl too! Yay! I got soooooooo ticked when you sayed the avatars were gonna use the sisters' powers to create Utopia. I wasn't mad at you. I was mad at the avatars. Just had to make that clear. [Piper and Phoebe run into the attic. Piper closes the door and joins her sister at the Book of Shadows.]

Piper: Where is Paige?

Phoebe: I don’t know, but we need to find a way to vanquish Onyx before…

[As she speaks, a tall muscular warlock busts the door off the frame. Piper gestures, trying to blow him up. Nothing happens.]

Onyx: Where’s the third witch?

Piper: Paige!

Onyx: And I thought it was going to be a challenge.

[He creates a metal ball in his hand. He throws the ball. Piper and Phoebe duck, causing the ball to crash into the wall, leaving a huge hole. He creates another and throws it at Phoebe. Piper blows it up in mid-air. Phoebe runs over to him. She gives him a punch to the face. She turns and gives him a roundhouse kick to the body. Both are ineffective. He smiles, and grabs her by the throat and throws her into the wall. He looks up to see Piper at the Book of Shadows.]

Piper: Warlock Onyx
Soul black as his name
Let the magic of white
End his evil reign!

[Onyx screams as he flames and vanquishes. Paige orbs in.]

Paige: What did I miss?

Int. Manor-Great Hall-Stairwell-Day

[Phoebe walks down the stairs. She stops at the landing to see Piper who is sitting with the Book of Shadows.]

Piper: Onyx is a medium-level warlock. He has the ability to create metal balls that weigh tons and can crush any body part it makes contact with. What if we weren’t able to vanquish him? What if we needed the Power of Three?

Phoebe: Then we would’ve had to hold him off until Paige got there. Piper, are you still on Paige’s case?

Piper: That’s the fifth vanquish she’s missed.

Phoebe: Well we have to accept she has other responsibilities. She’s a whitelighter now. And you two need to talk. You’re not as close as you used to be.

[Phoebe walks out, leaving her older sister confused.]

[Sheila and Darryl are on the couch watching a movie. Darryl’s cell begins to ring. He looks at the caller id. “Paige”.]

Sheila: Darryl, it’s your day off.

Darryl: Sheila, they need me.

Sheila: And I need you! All I’m saying is if it’s that big of an emergency, they would’ve came here and got you, right?

[Darryl sighs, guessing she’s right and returns to the movie.]

Int. Darryl’s House-DJ’s Room-Day

[DJ is playing with some toys. A hideous demon gleams in behind him. It slowly creeps behind him. DJ turns and spots it. He tries to yell but it covers his mouth. Its hand and DJ begin to glow. DJ struggles, and knocks over a lamp. The demon looks around and gleams out. Darryl and Sheila run in to see an unconscious DJ.]

Sheila: DJ? DJ, wake up! Darryl, call 9-1-1!

[Darryl runs out as Sheila pulls her son into her arms.]

Ext. Berkeley-College Campus-Day

[Phoebe walks out of the building. As she does, she bumps into a man.]

Phoebe: I’m sor…

[Phoebe gasps as she receives a premonition.]

*Premonition*

Int. Hospital-Hallway-Night

[The man is in the hall. He is speaking to someone, but who that is remains unseen. He begins to tear up and pulls out a potion. He throws the potion. It connects with something, and an explosion occurs, sending the man flying, killing him.]

*End of Premonition*

Man: Are you ok?

Phoebe: I’m fine. Thanks.

Man: I’m Vince.

Phoebe: Phoebe. Hey, you wouldn’t be heading to a hospital, would you?

Vince: Phoebe Halliwell?

Phoebe: You’re familiar with my work?

Vince (whispering): I’m familiar with your magic.

Int. Manor-Conservatory-Day

[Piper walks in to see Leo playing with the boys. She stops for a minute, smiling at the first little bit of normal her life has seen in a while. Leo notices her. and comes over to give her a kiss. As they break from the kiss, Leo speaks.]

Leo: Piper, the Elders need me.

Piper: What?! How dare they. You’re not a whitelighter anymore.

Leo: But I’m still the headmaster of magic school. Piper, everything will be fine.



Leo: That’s them.

[Leo is suddenly orbed out. Piper sighs. She looks over at her boys who are playing. The demon gleams in.]

Wyatt: Scary.

Piper: Wyatt, what is it?

[The demon places its hand over Wyatt’s mouth. Its hand and Wyatt begin to glow. Piper looks around, not able to see the demon.]

Piper: Wyatt, your force-field!

[Wyatt doesn’t do anything. He blinks, trying to blow up the demon, but nothing happens.]

Piper: Wyatt, now!

[Piper gestures. As she does, Wyatt orbs out. Piper unknowingly blasts the demon. The demon gleams out. Wyatt orbs back in next to his mother. Piper picks him.]

Piper: It’s ok. Mommy’s here. But who else was?

Ext. Alley-Day

[Paige orbs in. Her charge, Mary, is hiding behind a Dumpster. A demon is throwing energy darts at her. The demon turns, spotting Paige.]

Demon: Get out of here, whitelighter.

Mary: Paige, he’s dangerous. I can handle him.

Paige: I can’t risk you getting hurt.

Demon: Both of you will be getting hurt now.

[The demon throws another energy dart at Mary. Paige orbs out, and back in front of Mary.]

Paige: Energy dart!

[Paige waves her hand, causing the dart to orb out and orb back in, getting a direct hit to the demon, and vanquishing him.]

Mary: So much for whitelighters standing on the sidelines.

Int. Manor-Attic-Day

[The boys are in the playpen as Piper is flipping through the Book of Shadows. The handset rings.]

Piper: Hello?

Int. Hospital-Room-Day

[DJ is in a hospital bed, unconscious. Darryl and Sheila are at his side. Darryl on the phone.]

Darryl: Piper?

Piper (off screen): Darryl, now isn’t really a good time.

Darryl: This is important. DJ’s sick. None of the doctors know what’s wrong with him. They said he might slip into a coma.

Piper (off screen): Darryl, I wish I could help, but there’s nothing I can do.

Darryl: He’s been mumbling about monsters. Things in his room weren’t moved around. Like there had been a struggle. We didn’t…

Int. Manor-Attic-Day

Piper: See anything? Darryl, there may actually be something I can do.

Darryl (off-screen): Ok, Piper. Just…just hurry ok?

[Piper hangs up the phone and proceeds with searching through the book. Phoebe and Vince walk in.]

Phoebe: Innocent. I need the Book of Shadows.

[She notices the wound on Piper arm.]

Phoebe: What happened?

Piper: An invisible demon attacked Wyatt.

[Phoebe picks up Wyatt.]

Phoebe: Did he vanquish it?

Piper: No, he didn’t even put up his force-field.

Phoebe: Whatever he did to give us a second chance probably took a huge toll to his powers. It’s going to take some time for them to grow back. It always takes a child awhile to grow something back than to grow something to begin with.

Piper: You really have been paying attention in class, haven’t you?

Vince: We need to hurry, Phoebe.

Phoebe: Piper this is Vince. Vince, this is Piper. He knows about magic. Although he won’t tell me how.

Vince: I can’t, Not yet.

Piper: Ok, just give me a second. Darryl’s son's life depends on it. I think that the same demon that attacked Wyatt attacked him. I was able to scare the demon away from Wyatt. DJ wasn’t so lucky.

Phoebe: Wait, the demon that I saw Vince vanquish in my vision was invisible.

Piper: Vanquish?

[Vince walks next to Piper.]

Vince: Keep flipping.

[Piper continues to flip.]

Vince: Stop.

Piper (reading): "Malic Demon. Upper-level demonic breed that feeds on the innocence of a youth. The infection is fatal to the youth, unless the demon that infected the youth is vanquished." (looking up) There’s a vanquishing potion. I’ll start on it.

Vince: No. Please, wait…

Phoebe: I saw you vanquish it. My sisters and I will be able to withstand the explosion.

Vince: I was looking for you, hoping there would be another way. My wife was the one that referred me to you guys.

Phoebe: How would your wife know about us?

Vince: Because she’s a Malic demon. Well, at least, half a Malic demon. Her father was a demon. Her mother was mortal. She’s been trying to get her urges under control, but just recently it was too much. She told me to look for the Charmed Ones. Please, if we can just stop her. I promise she’ won’t hurt anyone. But if she kills an innocent…

Phoebe: She’ll be stuck a demon forever. Ok, maybe we could just strip her powers.

Vince: Only, problem is she’s only visible to the youth.

Piper: Paige!

Phoebe: We can do this without Paige, Piper. Come on, I’ve an idea.

(Later)

Piper: Phoebe, are you sure about this?

Phoebe: I’m sure. You’ll be able to see his wife. You’ll throw the stripping potion and everyone will be saved.

[Phoebe hands Piper a piece of paper. Piper sighs and recites the spell.]

[Piper glows and then falls to the floor. Phoebe runs to her sister's side.]

[Phoebe is making a potion. She adds an ingredient. Paige walks in.

Paige: I still can’t believe you guys didn’t call me until the spell backfired on Piper.

Phoebe: Actually, we called you earlier but you didn’t come. It’s cool though--we understand about your whitelighter duties. Hand me the snakeweed, please?

[Paige opens the cabinet and hands Phoebe the snakeweed. Phoebe opens the jar and throws the snakeweed into the caldron. It blows. Phoebe begins to pour the potion into some vials. She gasps as she receives a premonition.]

*Premonition*

Int. Hospital-Hallway-Night

[Phoebe and Paige run down the hall. Phoebe has the power-stripping potion in her hand. Paige is sent flying into the wall. Phoebe throws the potion and connects with the demon.]

(Cut to)

Int. Hospital-Room-Night

[DJ closes his eyes and flat lines.]

*End of Premonition*

Paige: Phoebe, what did you see?

Phoebe: The potion isn’t going to work. DJ’s going to die.

Paige: So we’re going to have to vanquish Marie. That’s his wife’s name right?

Phoebe: Yeah.

Paige: That bites.

Phoebe: No, That just sucks.

[Paige notices Phoebe’s face drop as she realizes they must vanquish Marie.]

Paige: Maybe the real innocent was DJ.

[Vince walks in.]

Vince: Is the potion ready?

Phoebe: Paige, can you give Vince and me a second?

[Paige nods and walks out.]

Int. Manor-Attic-Early Evening

[Paige walks in to see Piper on the couch. She looks horrible. Paige places a wet rag over Piper’s forehead. Piper coughs severely.]

Paige: Are you ok?

Piper: I’m fine. The boys?

Paige: Are at magic school.

[Paige walks to the Book of Shadows and takes it off the podium and to the table. She begins on a potion.]

Piper: I thought Phoebe was working on the stripping potion?

Paige: She was. She had a vision of DJ dying after we stripped Marie’s powers. We have to vanquish her. Phoebe’s telling Vince now.

[Piper coughs.]

Piper: That’s horrible.

Paige: I know. It’s the only way to save you and DJ.

[Paige is silent as she senses something.]

Paige: One of my charges is in a battle.

Piper: Are they calling you?

Paige: No, but…

Piper: If they were in trouble, they would've called you.

Paige (yelling): Joanna didn’t call me and she died! (She begins to cry) I failed as a whitelighter. I should’ve been able to save her.

Piper: Come here.

[Paige sits next to Piper. Piper hugs her.]

Piper: Paige, listen to me. You didn’t fail. You had only been Joanna’s whitelighter for a few weeks. It’s not your fault.

Paige (crying): I guess that’s why I’ve been gone so much. I didn’t want to risk losing another charge.

Piper: Paige, you’re the kindest person I know.

[Paige begins to feel better.]

Paige: Are you sure this isn’t the fever talking?

[Piper laughs and begins to cough.]

Paige: Piper, you’re on fire.

[Piper lies back down. Phoebe walks in, her eyes watering. Paige gives her older sister a hug.]

Paige: You know we have to?

Phoebe: I know.

Paige: How’s Vince?

Phoebe: The best he can be I guess. Let’s just do this.

[Phoebe and Paige head towards the table. Suddenly, both are sent flying.]

Phoebe: What in the…

[Paige and Phoebe stand back up, brushing themselves off.]

Paige: Are you ok?

[The potion is knocked over.]

Piper: The demon.

Phoebe: Piper, try to freeze him.

Voice: No need.

[Phoebe and Paige look around to see where the demon came from. Vince suddenly becomes visible.]

Vince: I had to make sure you were out the way.

Phoebe: You made the whole wife story up. You’re the half-human half-demon. You set up the fake premonitions…

Vince (sarcastic): We have a rocket scientist in the house. You have to admit I had you going. Being a half-breed has so many perks. Being invisible when I need to be. Visible when I need to be. Got the Power of Three down. I could just kill you now, but I’ll let you suffer. Let you lose a sister first. Look at her.

[Vince gleams out. Phoebe and Paige look at Piper who is now unconscious.]

Int. Manor-Attic-Night

[Paige is at Piper’s side.]

Paige: We’ll fix this. Just hang in there.

[Phoebe closes the Book of Shadows in frustration.]

Phoebe: Even with the vanquishing potion, there’s no way to see Vince.

Paige: What if we cast the same spell Piper did? I mean it still worked; it just had a side effect.

Phoebe: That side effect that has our sister on her deathbed.

Paige: Piper isn’t our only innocent. DJ is too. Piper would want us to do it. Remember our pact?

[Phoebe walks over to Piper.]

Phoebe: I won’t lose you. We’ll save you.

Paige: Ready?

Int. Hospital-Hall-Night

[Phoebe and Paige orb in. Phoebe sways. Paige catches her.]

Paige: We need to hurry up.

Phoebe: Remember the plan. We vanquish Vince, cast the vanishing spell, and orb out before we’re seen.

[The two sisters walk down the hall.]

Phoebe: There he is.

[Vince turns, hearing Phoebe’s voice.]

Paige: And I thought I was a rocket scientist. This guy is smart enough to hide out at the place…

[Phoebe drops to the ground.]

Paige: Pa…Phoebe!

[Paige rushes to her sister's side. Vince waves his hand, sending Paige flying into the wall. Paige gets back up. She pulls out the potion. She goes to throw it.]

Vince: Not so fast…

[Vince is holding Phoebe in front of him as a shield.]

Vince: Vanquish me and the explosion will kill your sister. The premonition may have been fake, but it did have some truth.

[Phoebe sways once again. She grabs her head.]

Phoebe: We’re beyond you Vince. We know innocents come first. Besides…
As my sister I masquerade
Each others appearance we know untrade

[White lights engulf both Phoebe and Paige. Phoebe is revealed as a glamoured Paige. “Paige” is revealed as a glamoured Phoebe.]

Vince: I’ve been tricked.

Phoebe: That has to be the smartest thing you’ve said all night.

[Phoebe throws the potion. Paige orbs out of Vince’s grasp and next to her sister. The sisters join hands, prepared for the explosion. The potion connects with Vince and he vanquishes. An explosion occurs during the vanquish, not harming anything. ]

Int. Hospital-DJ’s Room-Night

[Darryl is comforting a crying Sheila. DJ begins to wake up.]

DJ: Mom? Dad?

Sheila (happy): DJ? DJ!

[Sheila hugs her son.]

Int. Magic School-Study-Night

[Leo is sitting down. Sandra and Odin are in front of him.]

Leo: We’ve been talking. Can you please just hurry up with your decision?

Sandra: Leo, we know what happened.

Odin: Or more correctly. What was but didn’t happen.

Leo: I don’t speak Elder anymore. Can you just come out with it already?

Sandra: We have an Elder that has the ability to see what was but didn’t happen. He also has the gift to see alternate realties, planes… The point is…

Odin: The point is we saw what would’ve happen if your child would’ve interfered. We’re sorry, but we cannot tolerate that. We know you didn’t witness it, but I assume the sisters told you. I’m terribly sorry, Leo, but your family is now banned from magic school. You still run the magic school, but Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Wyatt, Christopher, and the rest of future Halliwells are banned from the school.

[Sandra waves her hand and the boys orb in next to Leo.]

Leo: You’re punishing us for something that didn’t even happen?!

Sandra: We do not want to argue, Leo.

Leo: You’re lucky I’m not going to sink to your level. I have half a mind to quit, but if I do, the poor kids here wouldn’t have a sane role model to run this school.

[Leo picks up Chris and takes Wyatt’s hand.]

Sandra: Our best luck to the sisters. And be careful of Wyatt. He’s not as powerful as he used to be.

[Odin waves his hand and orbs Leo and the boys out.]

Int. Manor-Great Hall-Day

[Phoebe walks down the stairs. She opens the door to reveal Sheila.]

Phoebe: Darryl isn’t here.

[Phoebe begins to close the door. Sheila stops her.]

Sheila: Where are your sisters?

Nice set of stories although a new season with a fresh start yet you bring back two of the demons from that past within 2 episodes... i didn't really like the fact that the first 2 episodes had so many story arcs from other episodes such as morality bites but it all came together in the end.

Also in your last story Leo orbs to magic school, yet he is not a whitelighter.
