Coles pain at Christmas - Completed

Cole felt a jolt and landed on a cold floor. He opened his eyes and looked around. It look a while for his eyes to adjust to the darkness but he could see a silouhette in the distance.
"Stand up" it barked at him. Cole was still trying to determine what had happened. He stood up, his head pounding.
"Who are you?" He asked the figure. He couldnt deal with this, he had seen, done and been in some strange situations over his years of demonhood, but this was really messing his head up.
"Oh my dear friend" cackled the voice. Cole knew that voice. He had been partnered with that voice once before. He walked forwards to try and see their face. The figure walked forwards, a flicker of moonlight flashed across his friend.
Cole's head was pounding. What did he want?
"I dont have anything to fear, Iv lost Phoebe." Cole insisted.
"Oh, but you have seen what you could have" the voice said. Cole was slightly scared. What was happening? Was what I saw actually the real thing? Have I not lost Phoebe? He let out a cry of desperation and fell to his knees infront of the mysterious person. The figure let out a laugh.
"The once mighty Belthazar falling to my feet, oh how times change." The figure walked in circles around Cole. Stopped and looked at him for a minute and kicked him on to the floor, so that Cole lay in a crumpled heap. "But my friend, we all know what you true deepest fear is..." Barbus chuckled and put his hand on Cole. "Your deepest fear, is that you faked your death to make Phoebe happy, and that now, she isnt happy at all. Oh tut tut tut"
Suddenly Cole was plummeted into another scene. It was surreal.
Infront of him was the scene he had witnessed the night before. He heard a voice whisper in his ear. "Let me show you what actually happened"

Phoebe walked towards the stairs. Coles knecklace laden on her kneck. She had a sad smile on her face. Cole looked at her face and right into her eyes. He knew she wasnt happy. His heart fell right through his stomach.
"Phoebe?" Piper called.
"Here" Phoebe replied.
"Come through to the kitchen" was the next reply.
Phoebe turned round and walked into the kitchen. Cole followed. He was intrigued.
Piper was cleaning around the kitchen, but stopped when Phoebe walked in and looked at her. Cole knew that look. It was Piper's analysing look. He didnt like it. He used to get it alot. It was like she's actually looking into you and reading yor thoughts.
"What time does Coop finish tonight?" Piper asked. Phoebe seemed to recoil against the topic, she looked uncomfortable answering it.
"He isnt" Phoebe answered. "Its Christmas and he isnt coming home" Tears were running down Phoebe's face. Piper walked over to her sister and put her arms round her.
"Pheebs" she tried to comfort her younger sister. She had always been the older comforting sister. Cole watched the scene unfold before him. His heart was aching for Phoebe.
"I mean, I mentioned children to him the other day, and he brushed it off like it didnt matter to him. I long for a baby Piper" Phoebe cried into Piper's shoulder. Cole felt himself getting angry. Like Barbas had said, he had faked his death, given up on trying to get Phoebe back to make her happy, and she wasnt! He tuned back into the conversation when he heard his name.
"... be the case Phoebe, but Cole was evil! He hurt you, he tried to kill us. Almost succeeded in killing Leo and Sam, and potentially nearly killed Wyatt too!"
"I know, but he was only one who actually loved me. The only one who would have made the effort to be with me, the only one who would have wanted children with me." Cole watched her. She was beautiful, and pining after him. "And, like you said, he helped you Leo back from the Elders"
Paige walked into the kitchen. "Oh sorry!"
"No Paige, its fine" Phoebe insisted. "Thanks Piper" she said as she walked out of the kitchen.

Paige stared at Piper. "Whats up with Phoebe?" She asked.
Piper sighed, and started to clean up again. "She's upset at Coop. He is always working and doesnt give her any attention." Piper explained. She stopped cleaning and looked at Paige. "I was thinking the other day"
"Uh oh" Paige replied. "Why dont I like where this is going?"
"Well, Phoebe was happier when she was with Cole." Piper replied. Cole was intrigued. What was Piper thinking about doing? Is this going to explain what has happened to him?
"Yeah, whats your point?" Paige asked, eating Turkey. Piper slapped her hand away. "Hey, Im pregnant, leave me alone" she defended. Piper giggled.
"My point is Paige, I was looking at the Book of Shadows yesterday, and I came across the "To find a lost love" spell..." she left the sentence in mid-air. Paige looked at her, Cole could see the look on her face. It wasnt a good look.
"Erm, Piper? Cole is dead." She explained, trying to understand where Piper was leading.
"No. No he isnt" Piper said, as she carried on cleaning.
"What?!" Paige exclaimed. "Er, since when?!"
"I noticed him hanging around the house this morning"
Cole's heart dropped. Oh no! Paige will try and vanquish me again! I know it! He thought.
"Piper! We have to sort this, we cant have him back in the family! I cant handle this! Oh, I need to chill"
"Paige, please. Calm down." Piper slammed the pan down on the side, causing Paige to jump.
"Paige, I think Phoebe needs this. We could make a reversal spell that will take him back if we think its not going right"
"Piper, firstly, youre not being you! The Piper I know would never consider this, and secondly, we're talking about re-writing 7 years of our history here!" Paige ranted. Suddenly everything clicked into place for Cole. Everything made very clear sense.
"Well maybe its what we need. I hate Phoebe being so low about things. She was happy with Cole. Lets just do this for her!" Piper pleaded with Paige. She walked out of the kitchen and made her way to the attic. Paige waddled after her.
"Hey, slow down, some of us are carrying what feels like a baby elephant here!" Paige moaned as she walked up the stairs. Cole followed them upstairs. He liked the fact that Piper was sticking up for him. He guessed that helping her save Leo made some good foundations, which he was very grateful for at this minute.
Piper walked over to the book and opened it at the page of the spell.
"Piper, please. Lets re think this." Cole was getting angry that Paige kept holding Piper back. Typical Paige always hating him.
"No" Piper started to read the spell, and as she did so, Cole felt the world melt around him.

Barbas appeared again.
"Well. What do you think about that then? Youre precious Phoebe, completely unhappy, and theres nothing that you can do" he taunted Cole.
"Youre wrong. The sisters were bringing me back"
"No, you misunderstand me. I meant, until you do something for me, youre not going to get to go to that happy happy time with the family" Barbas explained. Cole didnt like where this was heading.

WOW! Very simply WOW! I *finally* had time to read this again and I just read the next-to-the-last update and I'm simply amazed.

You are definitely letting your fic live up to its title--I can't imagine the pain Cole is going through, getting to see that reality and now have it taken away! And to find out that it was actually done on purpose.... *shudder*

Like Cole, I wondered if Piper knew what was going on and was scared for him when he was left alone with her, but it appears that she only wanted to be sure she did the right thing when she talked Phoebe into taking him back.

Oh, when Ruby handed Phoebe the box, much as Wyatt had, I had shivers going up and down my spine! Congrats to you, Sammi--that was *so* much better than having Phoebe wearing it!

I loved Henry rubbing Paige's tummy and her running after the boys. Even Cole not responding to Phoebe calling him "Baby"--it had been so long!

You've got this down perfectly, Sammi! And now lucky me--I get to read another one!

*applauds wildly* Beautiful set of updates sweetie! The more I read of this fic, the more I enjoy and am amazed by it. You've got one heck of a story going here and I am eagerly awaiting the next piece of this puzzle.

Poor Cole -- I couldn't even begin to fathom the amount of pain he's going through right now. And Barbus--that was a twist that I wasn't expecting.

Omigod, omigod, omigod! I'm sitting here in absolute shock!

BARBAS!!!

He's absolutely the last person who I expected to see and yet, yes, he fits into this fic perfectly! How great for him to be able to pick up on the fears of the once almighty Belthazar, the one who fell for a witch and not just a witch, but a Charmed One, and who then got rid of the Triad and helped the sisters get rid of the Source! Oh, whoever is leading the Underworld now is going to reward that demon something awful, because this, finding out that despite his faking his death (and I'm still hoping we get to see how and when he did that), Phoebe and Coop *aren't* going to make it (and personally, I never thought they would...and I wondered when he wasn't part of the first version of Christmas..) and that she's still pining for Cole despite what happened...Oh! This is absolutely breaking my heart!

There was only one part of this update that I did NOT like:

She had always been the older comforting sister.

Um, excuse me? As a Prue-fan I MUST protest! Yes, Piper has been that since Prue died, but before???

But that is just one line in an otherwise fantastic update! And LUCKY ME!! You just updated again so I get to read more!

Oh, Sammi! I never wanted an S9 since I couldn't stand S8, but you'll never know how much I now wish that there had been one and that this is what it was based on! It would've been SOOOO much better! *YOU* should've been the executive producer and main writer of Charmed, sweetie, not Kern!

I'm a bit confused as to how Cole could fake his death and still be caught in the limbo he was in during Seven Year Witch (which allowed him to help Piper get Leo back), but I'll go with it, just because I love how this is going so much.

I *so* love the way you write pregnant Paige! No matter how much I love Cole and Phoebe and Piper and even Barbas, she's becoming my favorite character in this--I get such a giggle out of her, and you always come up with the perfect spots for her to "act pregnant"! I hope she'll end up having the baby before this is over and that it's a girl, so she'll have the first female grandchild and so we know that the future is not exactly like Forever Charmed (it can't be or no way Coop and Phoebe would've been married by the Angel of Destiny. )

I love how you're letting Piper want to help Phoebe while Paige stays stubborn, since despite the way Phoebe and Cole love each other, I don't think they'd be good for each other unless there's a way to also get rid of the Belthazar part of him--she'd end up vanquishing him again eventually when he starts acting evil again--we all know that--and then my heart would ache for Ruby and Rose as I wonder if their mother would vanquish *them* when *they* start acting from the quarter-evil part of themselves, so I'm agreeing with Paige here.

BUT I understand where you're coming from and where Cole's coming from and am shuddering wondering what Barbas is going to want him to do to get his happy-for-now family.

Cole waited for Barbas to continue. He didnt.
"What do you want me to do?" He asked. He was nervous, knew that it was something he wasnt going to like, and that, by doing this he had to choose his future.
Barbas chuckled quietly. "You mean, you dont know?" He taunted again. He bent down and looked at Cole. His gaunt face wore many scars of many battles and vanquishings from the Charmed ones over the years. Coles stomach turned in disgust.
"No" Cole replied. He tried to act like he didnt know, but the lump in his throat as he replied, gave away his thoughts.
"Theres a witch. A witch who is threatening my existence" Thats all he needed to say. The venom in his voice gave away what he wanted Cole to do.
"Why dont you just kill her yourself?" Cole questioned. It was strange that such a powerful demon was coming to him to ask for help.
"Oh, because that wouldnt be any fun now, would it?" Barbas let out a sharp laugh and started circling Cole again. "She is a little smart thing. Works at the local lawyers office. I tried to corner her a couple weeks ago, and now, because I was stupid enough to leave a trail, she's hunted me down." Cole watched Barbas as he continued to talk to him.
"Well its your own fault, why do you want to drag me into it?"
"Because, Belthazar, I want to see how much you want to be with Phoebe, and how much you are willing to do to get the future that you desire so so much" Cole felt a rush of anger.
"NO!!" he exclaimed. Barbus was surprised by his sudden burst. Cole jumped onto his feet.
"Belthazar, if you dont do this, I guess Ill have to refresh Phoebe's memorya about what Paige and Piper did, and what you did to Phoebe to make her hate you so so much" Barbus teased.
"What do I need to do?" Cole asked.
"Meet her at your old office, thats where she works, and do whatever you do... Ill be waiting" Barbus took on last glance at Cole and shimmered out.
Cole stood up, and then looked around the room. He felt an impossible amount of helplessness. What am I going to do? He thought to himself.
He shimmered out and appeared in his condo. He went into the living room and looked around. The place was full of toys and mess from the girls opening their presents. He walked over to the fireplace. Pictures of the years gone by stood out like a bit of pepper in an open wound.
"Why does this always happen to me?" he said outloud. I get my life on track, and then something else happens to me. He went into the bedroom and lay down on the bed. He could smell Phoebe's perfume on the pillow as he felt tears falling down his face. "I love you so much Phoebe" he whispered out loud. "Help me!" he pleaded.

Cole shimmered into his old office an hour later. No one was there so he had a little snoop around. It felt weird being in the office again, he looked around and smiled. Oh Iv had some good times in this office, he thought.
He jumped as someone opened the door. In walked a pretty young woman talking on the phone.
"Yes, I know its Christmas, I just need to pick up some papers and Ill be at yours baby" Cole watched her as she walked across the room and shuffle some papers on her desk. "Yes hunny! Tell daddy that he has to make sure that the food is ready, Ill be about half an hour. Ok? Bye bye!" she put the phone down on the desk and walked over to the cupboard.
"I know its in here somewhere" she said as she looked through the cupboard. Cole walked closer to her to see what she was looking for. As he walked across the room he stumbled over a chair, and it fell over. The woman jumped and turned round. Coles heart was thumping in his chest. She looked around the room and saw no one there.
"Get a hold of yourself Rebecca" she whispered to herself and carried on looking.
Ok Cole, he thought to himself. Now is your shot. You need to do this for your future with Phoebe to carry on! Its what you want most in the world, remember? He morphed into Belthazar, getting more and more nervous as he did so.
"Hello old friend" he muttered to himself. As he felt himself getting more evil he thought of Phoebe and his girls and how much he wanted their future together. He mustered an energy ball as he watched the witch continue to look through her files. He was about to throw it when the phone started to ring. He jumped and the energy ball vanished. He laughed to himself. Oh Cole youre such a scardy cat.
"Yes baby Im on my way, just two more minutes. Two more, thats all. Yes mommy wants to know what you have gotten her for a present, but Im a little busy at the second. Ill find out when I get home" Cole listened to the conversation. What was he thinking? Im about to kill a young woman with a husband and a little child. What would I do if that happened to Phoebe and left the girls without a mommy. No, he thought, I cant do this.
He morphed back into his human form.
"Oh Belthazar" he heard someone whisper in his ear "Just think of your two little girls, never knowing their daddy. Think of poor little Phoebe always going to be lonely, never finding love again"
"Leave me alone" he shouted back at it. "Leave me alone Barbus" Cole was getting angry.
"Ah ha! Found it!" The witch exclaimed. "Yes baby, Im on my way home right now, see listen, Im closing the door..." Cole watched as she walked out of the office. His heart sank. Well, he thought. Iv lost my chance now anyway. He turned around and opened the drawers to have a look.
He heard the latch on the door open again. The woman walked back into the office.
"There it is" she muttered to herself. She walked over to her desk and picked up her bag.
"This is your chance Belthazar" Barbas whispered again. "KILL HER!!" He demanded. Cole morphed into Belthazar again and followed her out of the office. As he walked down the hall he tried to summon his efforts again to make an energy ball.
She stopped walking in the car lot to find her keys...
Cole looked at her, looked as she walked towards her car...
He thought of Phoebe and his little girls, and how much he loved them...
He let out a loud cry and threw the energy ball...
There was a scream and then lots of dust. Cole turned back into his human form and fell to his knees. He knelt there for a couple minutes crying.
Barbas appeared and walked over to the witches lifeless body.
"Well well well, you did it!" Barbas praised. "Welcome to the dark side again Belthazar, I knew you could do it!"
"No, this isnt me anymore. That was once. Never again" Cole protested. Barbas rushed over to him.
"But dont you feel the excitement? All the adrenalin pulsing through you?"
"Send me back. I want Phoebe and my girls. Now! SEND ME BACK!!" Cole demanded.
Barbas chuckled. "As you wish"

And do I feel for Cole! Ol' Barbus has really got him between a rock and a hard place here. I loved his hesitation in the course of doing that task that Barbus laid out for him to do, his feelings afterwards, and the fact that the last things he thought of before throwing the energy ball were Phoebe, his little girls, and the love he has for them.

So what's going to happen to him next? Is he going to get his wish, or is Barbus going to be his devious self and give Cole what he wants but with a twist?

Cole looked around, he was sat back in his seat in the Manor watching as Phoebe walked over to him and kissed him.
"I'll thank you later!" she whispered into his ear. She smiled at him and walked back to her seat. Cole looked around and felt relief, it was like nothing ever happened. No one was any none the wiser. Thank you Barbas, he thought.

The rest of the day went by in a blur. The family had a good time at the night. They all sat together in the sunroom playing games.
He felt a warm glowing feeling as he watched the family. This is what he wanted most of all. And now he could have it. He felt guilty about the witch, atleast he could have his life.

The next morning he woke next to Phoebe again. He smiled as he realised that she was watching him.
"What?" He asked. He moved over to her and put his arm round her.
"Im happy" she replied. Cole heart flipped. This is what he wanted. Now he had it.
"Why?" he enquired.
"The first time in a long time, the family were together and happy yesterday." Phoebe informed him. They lay together for the next half an hour until they heard a loud banging on the door.
"COLE!" someone shouted. "COLE!!! Dont think I wont orb in there!" It was Paige. He jumped out of bed and ran to the door.
"Shhhh!" he said as he opened it "the girls are still asleep"
"What do you think youre doing here with Phoebe?!" She demanded. Cole turned round and looked at Phoebe, who in turn looked at Paige.
"I dont understand" he answered.
"Paige, be quiet!" Phoebe tried to quieten her down.
"No Phoebe, youre coming with me to mine and Henry's place" Paige turned round to look for Henry, and realising he wasnt there, turned round and said "Hold that thought" went out into the hallway and pulled Henry into the apartment. He looked very embarrassed.
"Paige, what is going on?" Phoebe asked.
"Cole killed someone last night" Paige accused. She walked upto him and poked him into a corner "You killed a lawyer, who happened to be a future whitelighter" Coles stomach dropped.
"Listen, guys, Im sorry, she got the news this morning, and just assumed it was Cole. You know what she's like" Henry insisted.
"Hey, Im pregnant, not deaf and stupid. I know it was Cole!"
"Paige, how dare you!" Phoebe flared up. "Where is the evidence?" she demanded.
"Well if you want I can orb you there" Paige insisted. "You can see for yourself"
Coles world was falling apart again, and once again it was due to Paige. He was getting angry again.

Wow, Sammi! Absolutely totally wow! What a choice you gave Cole, but, yes, I can see where he would make that choice. We always knew that he was only good for Phoebe, not for himself, so given the choice to do evil and get Phoebe or not do evil and not get Phoebe, of course he'd choose to do evil and get Phoebe and his daughters and his life.

I ADORE your Barbas! I *love* it when the demon isn't stupid, as so many of the demons on Charmed were! What a perfect box to put Cole into! And now we have Paige (and I LOVED the "I'm pregnant, not deaf and stupid" line--Paige is still my favorite character in this!) figuring out what happened (although I'd love to know how she figured that out) and once Paige gets Phoebe to agree that she's right, that Cole did indeed murder a lawyer who is a future whitelighter, and then when *PIPER* finds out, well, guess who's going to get vanquished and this time he won't have to fake his death!

At least that's my guess--if I'm wrong don't change just to suit me--you've already proven me wrong a number of times and your ideas have been *so* much better than mine!

When Piper died from Arroyo Fever, Prue was holding onto Phoebe. If Phoebe needed comforting while Prue was alive, once they were witches, *Prue* would've been there to pick up the pieces. It was part of her being the Big Sister.

Paige turned to Phoebe.
"Phoebe! Why wont you believe me?! He's been a demon before, and betrayed us, and now he is doing it again!!" She was shouting.
Phoebe walked over to her sister and slapped her. Cole grabbed her arms as she flew in to smack Paige again, and Henry pulled Paige back as she went to hit her back.
"Paige!" Henry cried as she pulled away from him desperately.
"How DARE you come into my family home and start making the most deluded accusations. Cole has been human for the past 7 years Paige! Get over it! This is seriously starting to ruin our relationship! Cole is my husband and I love him and I believe that he hasnt done anything!" Phoebe took a deep breath.
Cole looked at his wife. His heart was breaking. She has so much faith in me, he thought. I love her so much, and I go and betray her by actually killing someone! He was thinking quickly to try and think of an excuse to spill.
He tuned back into the sisters fighting as he saw Paige walk towards Phoebe, grab her arm and orb out.
Henry looked at Cole. Cole looked around the apartment.
"Cole..." Henry started. Cole cut him short. He was bottling up so much anger, confusion and wanting that he just lashed out.
"WHAT THE HELL DOES YOUR WIFE THINK SHE IS DOING??!!" He roared. Henry jumped backwards a couple of foot.
"I... I... She..." Henry stuttered. Cole looked at Henry and laughed evily.
"Look at you! If I were to turn into mighty Belthazar you wouldnt stand a chance!" He walked around the apartment and started knocking things off shelves. He just had to rid of the anger, and unfortunately it had to be Henry who witnessed it.
"Daddy!" he heard. He turned around and his heart immediately softened.
"Rose!" He started and walked towards her quickly. She backed off and ran into her room crying.
"Cole, Im sorry about Paige, I really am. I dont know why she just wont stop the grudge against you!" Henry tried explaining. "And obviously she is filled with hormones which is making her worse!"
"Shut up" Cole snapped at him. He caught himself as he was about to summon an energy ball. No, he thought. That would give the game away straight away. He smashed a vase instead, causing one of the girls to cry out.
"I think I should take the girls." Henry said, and walked towards the bedroom. Cole wasnt listening. He was pacing around in circles trying to think of how he could get out of the mess.
"Ill take the girls back to the Manor" Henry interrupted his thoughts. Cole looked up and saw Ruby's scared little face. Tears of frustration and hurt were pouring down Coles face. He watched Henry walk into the lift, and as the doors closed, Cole broke down.
"What the hell is happening to me?!" He shouted out. Barbas popped into his thoughts.
"Barbas?" He called. No answer.
"BARBAS!!!!!" He roared again. No answer. Cole walked across to the couch and sat down just as Phoebe and Paige orbed back into the room. He stood up sharpish and walked over to Phoebe.
"Phoebe!" He exclaimed as he reached out. She flinched.
She turned round, looked at Paige, and then looked at Cole.
"Well?" Paige demanded.
"Im staying with Cole" Phoebe said as she walked towards her husband. Cole's heart jumped. He looked at her.
"Please leave, Paige" She requested.
"But..." Paige started.
"JUST LEAVE!!" Phoebe screamed at her. Paige turned to look at Cole, gave him a nasty stare and orbed out.
"Where are the girls?" Phoebe asked.
"Henry took them to the manor" Cole explained. He wanted to take her into his arms and kiss her, but when he reached out to her again, she walked away.
Phoebe walked towards the kitchen, took out a bottle of vodka, took the top off and took a large gulp. She winced as the taste hit her throat. She turned to look at Cole.
Here we go, he thought. He looked at Phoebe and looked right back, straight in the eyes.
She sighed and turned around again.
"I thought those days were over Cole?" She asked. Cole looked at her, confused.
"Days?..."
"DONT interrupt me" She demanded. Cole was nervous. Very nervous. What was she thinking he asked himself.
"I honestly trusted you, and you let me down. And the girls! Oh My God, the girls! What am I going to say to my babies? Oh Im sorry, me and your aunties killed daddy last night!" Phoebe was rambling.
Cole walked over to her. She let him put his arms around her. He held her for a couple times before she pushed him away.
"Get out of my sight" she said. Cole knew not to second guess her request and walked out. As he walked away, he could hear her let out a cry and burst into tears.
As the lift took him down to the lobby he was dreading what may happen next. As the doors opened, he came face to face with Piper.
"Oh, Cole!" She exclaimed. She obviously doesnt know yet, he summised.
"Is Phoebe up there?" She asked. He didnt want to answer. He knew that if he did, she would find out, and then she would force Phoebe to kill him.
"Cole? Hello...?" Piper was trying to get an answer. "Oh I give up, Ill go and see shall I?!" She laughed as she walked into the lift, and shouted back to him "Paige is lookin for you!" and the doors shut.
Oh yeah, Paige was looking for him. That would make sense, she wants to kill me! He thought. Then an idea flashed into his mind. As he walked down the street, he concocted a plan.
He found himself outside the manor. He looked up and sighed. Walked up the steps and opened the door. Cole crept into the house. There was lots of noise so it was easy for him to do so. He saw the girls running around with the boys having fun.
He walked into the sunroom and saw Paige. He stopped walking and hid behind a wall. Paige was pottering around.
Ill just wait for her to walk back towards me... He thought.
He began to get infuriated as Henry came into the room to talk to her.
"You think its true?" Henry asked Paige.
"I know its true" She answered matter of factly.
"How?" He asked again.
"I just do! Now can you please help me with this laundry, cant walk upstairs without having to stop for breath every two steps!" Henry giggled.
"It wont be long now before we have our baby!" He said as he patted her belly.
"Yeah well I wish it would hurry up. Im tired of having a bladder the size of a pea and my kidneys being used as footballs!" She laughed.
Cole felt resentment. How dare she try and ruin my family. She should know what it would feel like to lose so much! As she walked round the corner Cole stepped out.
"Cole!" She gasped. Cole covered her mouth so she couldnt scream and grabbed her arms. He took a look around the room and saw no one there, and then shimmered out.

*reads update*

Wow. Simply wow. Now that was worth waiting for.

Cole's between a real rock and a hard place, isn't he -- especially now that he's got not only Paige (whose pregnancy lines are just too funny) suspicious of him, but Phoebe too. I couldn't even imagine being in that situation.

*shakes head* And poor Henry -- getting the brunt of Cole's anger towards Paige. I can't say as I blame him for getting the heck outta there (and taking the girls with him so that they'd be safe). Seeing Cole's rage had to scare the bejebus out of him.

So now he's swiped Paige...and taken her where? And for what purpose? Talk about a cliffie! *thumbs up*
