Wow 3 updates i missed!! But at least i had lots to read when i did!! Great updates! Good to see some Paige around, i like the way you are going with this. Its different obviously thats why we call it a fan fiction but its very very good!

Cant wait to read more.

And do you know, i love this thread so much i made sure that my 100th post was made in here. ;D ;D

Yeah love the update.. It sure is different i forgot that Paige would have to have a different power now since Piper died and not Prue..different but good ;D.. yeah i was going to say that Paige is already a witch so thats why she isn't so shocked by it all like the real Paige was but yeah I'm liking it.. I like how Andy and Leo stopped Cole from going upstairs..the girls need some serious bonding time!! hehe OK well ill eagerly be awaiting your next update!!

I definitely love the twists you have added to this. It is refreshing to see Paige open to the Power of Three, unlike what we saw in Charmed Again. I also think that speeding up molecules is totally awesome!

Meanwhile in the upstairs hallway, I warned, "Just to make this clear, you two--we're only going up to the attic to show Paige the Book and to find a way to vanquish Kernus, alright? Nothing else. I mean it."

"Got it," agreed Paige

--PHOEBE--

"Yeah, we got it." I knew better than to disagree. I turned to smile at Paige when suddenly I ran right into my big sister. "Hey!" I cried. "Think you could warn me next time you decide to come to a stop right in the middle of the doorway?"

--PRUE--

I didn't answer; I didn't even hear a word Phoebe said. I stood perfectly still, my eyes opened wide in shock. "That can't be. I'm seeing things here."

--PAIGE--

"Not another one," I muttered, looking around Prue. "What is this place? Some sorta hangout for ghosts?"

Because there was someone standing at the pedestal that held the Book of Shadows.

Someone who was writing in the Book with her finger.

Because that someone was glowing.

And that someone was…

--PIPER--

Me, Piper Melinda Halliwell-Wyatt!

I looked up and grinned at my sisters. "Check this out--look, I don't even need a pen. Now how cool is that?"

--PHOEBE--

Prue and I stared in shock, unable to believe what we were seeing. "What are you doing here?" I babbled. "Grams just said..."

--PIPER--

I rolled my eyes "Since when have I ever followed their crappy rules, hmmm? You better believe that I'm sure not gonna start following them now! Not only that, but did you seriously think that I was going just sit back and let you guys have all the fun of taking down that SOB Kernus? No freakin' way! Not when I found a fantastic way of getting rid of him.

"I've been thinking about this ever since Mom spilled the beans to me about Paige. Which was quite a surprise, believe me. It's a good thing I'm already dead.

"But I've been waiting for you guys to come together and restore the Power of Three. I mean, it was bound to happen eventually, knowing our lives. So c'mon over here and check out my idea."

--PRUE--

The three of us ran over to Piper’s ghost and read what she had written. I turned to look at my sister in shock. "Piper! This is different, especially coming from you. You've never been that bloodthirsty!"

--PIPER--

I shrugged. "Well, I've never been this dead before either. Besides, you don't want Kernus throwing those big funnels of air at you when you're trying to vanquish him, do you? This will be sure that none of you end up as dead as me. Speaking of which...it looks like I'm not gonna be able to stick around down here much longer. Have fun, you guys, and I love and I miss you! Tell Leo I love him, too!"

With that, I disappeared in swirl of blue lights, leaving behind three very stunned Charmed Ones.

--PAIGE--

I stood transfixed, staring at the spot where Piper's spirit had been just seconds earlier. "Wow. So that was Piper," The Halliwell on either side of me wordlessly nodded as wistful smiles played across their faces. "Now I see why you guys miss her so much. She's, she's great. I wish I could've had the chance to get to know her."

--PHOEBE--

"And I bet she wishes that she could've gotten the chance to get to know you too," I smiled. "Something tells me that she really would have liked you. Family meant everything to her."

--PRUE--

"That's true. She is...was the heart of this family," I added. "And what she would've wanted us to do right now is take down this demonic SOB, so let's get down to business. Phoebs? Think you can handle the potion? You two were always the best at that sort of thing, and I don't want to end up vanquishing us by accident. And Paige? Why don't you help me 'Kernus proof' the attic."

--PAIGE--

"‘Kernus proof?’ What do you mean by that?"

--PRUE--

"I mean, let's get everything to the edges of the attic. That'll give us a big space to work with when we summon his sorry a$$ here."

--PAIGE--

"Gotcha." I gave a thumbs-up and started to drag a nearby chair to the edge of the attic. I was about halfway there when I noticed that my fellow 'Kernus proofer' was still rooted in place -- obviously lost in her memories. "Well?" I teased, putting my hands on my hips. "Are you gonna help, or are you just gonna stand there? Furniture don't move itself, ya know."

--PRUE--

I smiled wistfully, "Yeah, you're right," and walked over to the couch and began to slowly move it. Then Paige's words hit me. Giving her a devilish look, I asked, "Who said furniture doesn't move itself?"

"Huh?"

Again I grinned and waved my hand and TK’d the couch over to the wall.

--PAIGE--

"Hey!" I cried. "Personal gain!"

"Yeah, but it's fun, and it's not hurting anyone."

I grinned back. "No, it's not. Let's see if this works," and flicking my hands, I sped up time for the chair so it moved itself over to the wall. "Cool!"

--PRUE--

I TK’d a table and smiled. "We can call it giving you a chance to practice your new power."

--PAIGE--

I also smiled as I sped up time for a trunk. "Sounds good to me!" Then I threw out my arms, freezing time for the trunk.

--PHOEBE--

I came back upstairs with the potion and looked around, amazed to see that all of the furniture was against the walls. "How'd you do all of that so quickly?" I asked. "I thought I'd have to help," and when both my sister and my half-sister gave each other sheepish looks, I just laughed, which got them laughing. Somehow that helped relieve all of the tension the three of us had suffered, much like Andy pouring water on Cole had done that morning.

--PRUE--

When we were finally all laughed out, I turned solemn before asking the other two, "Are you ready?"

--PHOEBE--

I nodded. "Ready and raring to go! Let's get that b@stard!"

--PAIGE--

"Not really," I admitted. "Can't we have some sort of dress rehearsal first?"

--PHOEBE--

Prue and I agreed and tried using the spell and the potion on an old doll I didn't really want any more. When we saw how well Piper's idea worked, we knew we were ready to do this. Joining hands, we began to chant:

"Magic forces black and white,
Reaching out through space and light,
No matter where he may now be,
Bring the demon Kernus here to we.”

--PRUE--

"Okay," I warned, "Here he comes."

As soon as the dust settled and Kernus once more stood in our midst, I cried out, "Now quickly--freeze him!"

--PAIGE--

I threw out my hands and Kernus froze. "Done. Got the potion ready?"

--PHOEBE--

I nodded. "Yup. Hey, Kernus! Catch!" and I threw the potion at his frozen figure.

--PAIGE--

I grinned wickedly as I glared at the man who had killed my parents. "That should loosen all of his joints so they'll easily break off. Now let's just speed things up a little," and I flicked my hands. "...and...done," as Kernus' body moved forward while his arms stayed put, falling to the floor.

--PHOEBE--

"Ouch!" I cried sarcastically as Kernus screamed. "That's gotta hurt."

--PAIGE--

"That was for my parents!" I shouted in fury. "One arm for each of them!"

--PRUE--

I smiled. "And now he can't throw more air at us!"

--PHOEBE--

I gave out a loud yell as I ran towards Kernus, levitated into the air and kicked one of his legs, yelling, "That was for all of the innocents you killed!"

Kernus' leg fell off and now he was yelling and screaming as he hopped on his one remaining leg.

--PRUE--

But not for long. "This is for Piper!" and I waved my hand and TK’d his remaining leg all the way across the room.

Now Kernus was nothing but a body, rolling around on the floor, yelling and screaming and cursing.

"And this is for trying to kill the Power of Three!" We held hands and began to chant. "The Power of Three will set us free! The Power of Three will set us free! The Power of Three will set us free!" and Kernus exploded.

--PHOEBE--

"Think we got him?" I coughed as I waved my hands to try and clear the air of the lingering smoke from Kernus's demise.

--PRUE--

I flicked my gaze around, surveying the damage. "Well, if we didn't, he's really gonna miss his ear 'cause it looks like part of it is dripping off the coat rack over there." I pointed out, snickering.

--PAIGE--

"Eww," I wrinkled my nose. "So that's it? He's gone...for good?"

--PHOEBE--

I picked up an object lying near my feet. "Here are his glasses, so I'd say that that's a big 'yes'." I grinned and put them on. "Whatcha think? Are these a fashion statement or what?

--PAIGE--

"Ummm...honestly?" I asked, quirking an eyebrow. "I'd go with 'or what'."

--PRUE--

While Phoebs and Paige were playfully bantering with each other, I stared off into space--a strange smile on my face. Thank you, Piper. We couldn't have done it without you, sweetie. Just thinking of what he did to you gave Phoebe and I the hatred we needed to do that.

When I glanced back at the other two, I saw Phoebe searching the attic. "What are you doing?"

--PHOEBE--

"I thought we should do a candle ceremony for Mary Jones and the other witches Kernus killed."

--PRUE--

"That's a nice idea," I smiled. "We've never done one for Piper."

--PAIGE--

"Is it okay if I'm part of it?" I asked. "I'd like to do one for my parents," and both sisters smiled.

--PHOEBE--

Soon all three of us were gathered around the table in the middle of the attic. I handed both Paige and Prue a candle while keeping one for myself. Then I lit a match and handed it to Prue.

--PRUE--

I lit my candle. "This is for Piper. May she always know how much we love her and may her spirit soar," then I handed the match to Paige.

--PAIGE--

And I lit my candle. "This is for my parents, fellow witches. May they always know how much I love them and how grateful I am to them for all that they did for me," then I handed the match to Phoebe.

--PHOEBE--

Last, but not least, I lit my candle. "This is for all of Kernus' other victims, especially Mary Jones who died just because she happened to look like Piper. May she find peace," and I blew out the match.

--PRUE--

But the match didn't go out. The flame was frozen. And when I looked at the candles, I saw that they were all frozen. I turned angrily towards Paige. "Did you do that?"

--PAIGE--

I threw up my hands. "Not me. I wouldn't know how."

"No, she didn't. I did."

Great update! I had a nice laugh at Kernus dieing which sounds quite sad but i could imagine him lying on the floor cursing with only a body!! lol!!! Thank goodness like you said i wasn't eating!! Now you must update as i need to know who froze the room!!!

Spinning around, we saw a tall, thin man dressed in silvery robes with long white hair.

I jumped to my feet and flung out my arm.

The man stayed put.

"Paige! Freeze 'im!"

--PAIGE--

I threw out my hands, but nothing happened.

The man stepped forward and shook his head. "I am beyond your powers. They will not affect me. I am the Angel of Destiny and I have come to offer you a chance to change yours. You three have accomplished your destiny, vanquishing the Source of All Evil much sooner than we ever thought you would."

--PRUE--

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a minute here." I interrupted, waving my hands in the air. "You're the what of what?"

"I am The Angel of Destiny."

--PAIGE--

I gave him a skeptical look. "No way," I insisted, shaking my head. "You're pulling our leg, aren't you? You're just a figment of our imagination."

--ANGEL OF DESTINY--

I was momentarily taken aback and slightly insulted by this last comment. "I most certainly am not a 'figment of your imagination'." I cleared my throat and smoothed out my robes. "Now, as I was saying. You three have accomplished your destiny by vanquishing the Source of All Evil..."

--PHOEBE--

Now it was my turn to jump in. "You mean to say that when we vanquished Kernus..."

--PAIGE--

"We were really facing The Source of All Evil?" I squeaked, my eyes wide with shock.

--ANGEL OF DESTINY--

"Yes," I sighed, not happy with this second interruption. "Kernus and The Source of All Evil are...well, were one and the same."

--PRUE--

"Figures," I muttered. "Of course he'd want to try to kill us on his own rather than sending out some assassin demon."

--PHOEBE--

I nodded. "And that's why it was so hard for us to vanquish him."

--PAIGE--

"So what's this 'change our destiny' bit?" I wanted to know.

--ANGEL OF DESTINY--

Again I sighed, since I am used to being in charge of the situation. "Due to his demise, the demons under his control will no longer be bothering humankind. They will be trapped in the Underworld."

--PHOEBE--

"Cole," I interrupted. "What about Cole? Will Cole be trapped down there, too?" I was wondering if I should run downstairs and see if my guy was still there.

--ANGEL OF DESTINY--

I shook my head. "Because Cole Turner has shown that he can control his demon half, he will be allowed to remain on Earth. Should he allow Belthazar to appear, he would also be imprisoned down there." Phoebe nodded. "Now may I continue?" I asked.

All three nodded. "Go ahead."

I sighed; then continued. "As I was saying. Due to the demise of The Source of All Evil and his demons, there is no need for The Charmed Ones, nor is there a need for you to be witches. So if you wish, I can remove your powers and you three will just become mortal women with no powers.

Although if you wish to remain witches, then you will retain your powers. And you will no longer have to follow the rules of personal gain as closely as you did before. If you use your powers to punish or hurt another being, there will be dire consequences for you and everyone in the magical world. But otherwise you may more closely follow the Wiccan rede: ''An it harm none, do what ye will.' "

--PHOEBE--

"You mean like Samantha on 'Bewitched'?" I exclaimed, unable to stop myself from mentioning my favorite TV show.

--ANGEL OF DESTINY--

I glared at her for this newest interruption. "Exactly so. And each of you have one hour to decide. Since you no longer need the Power of Three, each of you will make your own decision.

"But keep one thing in mind. The three men who are in the living room of your home are all part of the magical world. If you decide to give up your destiny as a witch, you will also give up your destiny with them.

And keep in mind that this is just a one-time offer. Your spell to remove your powers will not work after today. You have one hour to decide," and as I disappeared, the match went out and the candles began to flicker.

Interesting indeed...

What will they do? If they can still have their powers, but dont have to abide by "personal gain" then surely thats better for them? Id go with that one personally.

I do hope that Cole keeps Belthazar under control, we cant have him being locked away in the under world now, can we?
