*Hello; this is my 1st fan-fiction- so please, be nice. I hope you all enjoy my story....as much as I did~writing it.

*Midnight. Piper Halliwell was just closing up P3 for the night; when she heard a scream. She ran, in the direction of where the scream was coming from. She soon saw a teenage girl, fighting a demon~and losing.
Piper threw up her hands and froze the scene. The girl was left; unfrozen. She saw Piper and ran up, to her. "Please help me." the girl whispered, as she fainted. Piper caught her; before she hit the ground. "Leo!" Piper yelled. A swirl of white orbs came down and Leo materialized; beside her. "What happened?" he asked, as he placed a hand~ on her shoulder. "Orb now; ask questions later." Piper answered, as she lifted the girl- into her arms. Just then; the demon unfroze. He threw his athame at them, but Leo orbed them away~before it could reach them. The demon growled in anger, as he vanished into thin air. Then; everything was quiet.
*Phoebe & Paige were just hanging out on the couch; talking~when Piper and Leo orbed in. "What the ~." Paige started to say, but her eyes landed on the unconscious girl; in Piper's arms. "Who's that?" Phoebe asked, as she stood up- from the couch. "A girl, that I found." Piper replied, as she placed the girl: onto the couch. Paige & Phoebe looked confused. "She was attacked by a demon." Piper added. They all; exchanged glances. "Book of Shadows?" Paige said. Piper grabbed Paige's hand. "Book of Shadows." Piper answered as her & Paige headed; up the stairs. Leo started to heal the girl's wounds~from her attack with the demon. "Poor kid." Phoebe said, as she sat beside the girl, and stroked her jet black hair. Without warning; Phoebe got a premonition.
'The girl is standing, in a doorway with tears: flowing down her cheeks. Her parents, consumed in flames and screaming. A man, dressed in black was laughing at her. "You are next, my dear." He mouthed. Her parents; vanished into smoke. He, then left her~to mourn. She fell to her knees; crying.'
Phoebe was sucked out, of the premonition~ before she could see any more. A small tear slid down, her cheek. She felt a hand, on her shoulder. She turned to see Leo; behind her. "What did you see?" he asked. "She is an orphan." Phoebe answered, as she looked back: at the girl.

*Thank you, guys! I am truly touched by your compliments, on my story. I am nearly gonna cry. I have the next chapter~ sorry for the long wait. Thank you for your patience. So; here it is:

*Meanwhile; Piper was looking through the Book of Shadows, while Paige was pacing around the attic. "Paige, if you keep doing that, we're gonna have to buy a new floor." Piper said, without looking up from the book. "I know, but why would a demon want to attack a harmless teenager?" Paige replied, as she plopped down; into a chair. "I wouldn't exactly use 'harmless' to describe the girl." Piper said, as she flipped another page. "What makes you say that?" Paige asked. "Because, the girl didn't freeze." Piper answered. Paige's eyes widened. Then, there was a brief silence. "Found him!" Piper exclaimed, breaking the silence. Paige's spine straightened, as she quickly stood up and went to stand, beside Piper. "The Slasher Demon is the right-hand man to an upper- level warlock, named Dante. The demon can be vanquished by a simple vanquishing potion & spell, however....." Piper started to explain, but couldn't bring herself to finish her sentence."However, what?" Paige asked, as she placed a hand on Piper's shoulder. Piper took a deep breath. "However, due to Dante's strength and power; he can only be vanquished by the sorceroress." Piper replied. "Great, now we gotta find this sorceroress." Paige said. "I don't think that would be a problem, Paige." Piper replied. Paige looked confused.
*Meanwhile; Phoebe and Leo were sitting in the living room, waiting for the girl to wake up. "Phoebe, are you okay?" Leo asked, softly. Phoebe just nodded her head, no. He placed his hand, on her shoulder. "It's just, she watched her parents die. Could you imagine how she felt?" Phoebe finally said. "Who are you?" a voice asked. Phoebe and Leo turned around. The girl was finally awake. "I'm Phoebe and this is Leo." Phoebe answered. "Where am I?" the girl asked. "Don't worry, you're safe." Leo replied. "What is your name?" Phoebe asked. The girl took a deep breath. "Chloe." The girl
answered, as she smiled.

*Hey, guys! Sorry for the long wait, again. Here is the next chapter:

*Meanwhile; in the Underworld, Dante was fixing his hair, when the Slasher demon walked in. "Did you finish
the job?" Dante asked. "A witch intervened, sir." the demon answered. Dante's smirk, changed into a frown.
"A witch?" Dante said. The Slasher demon nodded his head, yes. Suddenly; Dante grabbed the Slasher demon,by the throat. "Do you know what this means?With the sorceroress still alive; she could come and vanquish my butt!" Dante exclaimed. "It won't happen
again, I swear." the demon replied, in a hoarse voice.
Dante let go of the Slasher demon's throat. Without warning; Dante threw a fireball at the demon. It growled in pain, as he vanished into smoke. All that was left, was: a pile of ashes.
*Back at the Halliwell Manor; Leo and Phoebe were talking to Chloe, when there was a knock on the front
door. "I'll get it."Phoebe said, as she headed out of the
room. When Phoebe left; Chloe looked at Leo. "So; you're her whitelighter, huh?" she said. Leo nodded his head, yes. Phoebe came in. "Uh, Chloe, someone is here to see you." Phoebe said. Chloe slowly turned around to see who, Phoebe came in with. Chloe's face,
just lit up~like a lightbulb. "Nick." she said, softly. He
nodded his head, yes. Chloe's spine straightened, as she slowly stood up and walked, toward him. "Hey, Chloe. How's my favorite girl?" he replied, as he gave her a big hug. "Well, now that you're here....great." she answered, as she hugged him back. "How did he know she was here?" Leo whispered, to Phoebe. Phoebe shrugged. "So, I'll go see how Piper and Paige are doing." Phoebe said, as she headed~up the stairs. Leo soon followed, leaving Nick & Chloe....alone.

*Meanwhile; in the attic, Piper was looking through the Book of Shadows~when Phoebe and Leo walked in. "Who was at the door?" Paige asked. "Chloe's friend,
Nick." Phoebe answered, as she sat down, beside Paige,
on the sofa. "How did he know she was here?" Piper asked, as Leo stood~next to her. "That's what I said." Leo muttered, under his breath. "So; what did you find out?" Phoebe asked Piper. "It turns out that, the demon is the right-hand man to an upper-level demon named Dante. Dante can only be vanquished, by the sorceroress." Piper answered. Before Phoebe could speak; they heard a scream and a crash. "Chloe." Leo said, as he orbed out. Paige orbed Phoebe, Piper, and herself out; as well. They orbed in, to find Chloe: on the floor. "Hey!" Piper yelled, turning the attention of the attacker from Chloe.....to her. Uh-oh, she thought.

*He flashed Piper, an evil smile. She threw up her hands, trying to blow him up. Not even a mark; on him.
"Stupid witch." he said, as he waved his arm and Piper flew into the wall. Leo ran to her side. Dante,then conjured a fireball. Chloe stood up; placing herself~ between Dante and Piper & Leo. "Leave them alone." she said. He smirked. "So eager to join your parents,
huh?" Dante replied, as he threw the fireball, at Chloe.
She did not move. She just threw up her hand, and the
fireball stopped: in mid-air. She smiled. His jaw dropped.
"No; but you seem to be." she answered; as she threw the fireball back, at him. It grazed his shoulder and hit the wall, behind him. He grabbed his shoulder; in excruciating pain. When he let go; his hand was covered
in, blood. She waved her arm, and Dante flew into the wall. "I'll be back for you." he said, as he pointed at her:
with his bloody hand. "I'll be waiting." Chloe replied, as she raised her eyebrow. He shimmered out.
