Paige or Prue?

Which of the two did you like better in Charmed?
I liked Paige more with Prue it was allways so dramatic and
Paige brought a fresh wind in the show she made it better for me
because Prue was the Superwitch all the time and I think not many people see what Paige was she was a witch, a sister, a whitelighter and in the end wife and mum ...
So I think Paige was better in the show than Prue.
So who do you think was better in Charmed?

Prue.

It felt like a family in the first three seasons. Prue and Piper's relationship and them as best friends is amazing. And the conflict between the eldest and 'youngest' sister (Prue and Phoebe) was very. The dynamic of the three of them was perfect.

I don't think Prue was ever superwitch, though Paige tried, and that was too far. Paige went really WITCHY and Piper wanted a normal life to the point of her complaining about it all the time. I think Prue had a good balance of being 'normal' and using her powers to save innocents.

I think Paige and Phoebe allways were a good team as well...
And the conflict between Paige and Piper was there too like with Prue and Phoebe...
But I think Prue really tried to be "The Power of One" she allways was on trips hunting demons and preparing for fighting...

Not really. Prue was the leader and big sister, but Phoebe, Piper, and Prue were always a team. However, there were times when Piper hated being a charmed one and Phoebe was too busy running off after Cole, so someone had to protect the innocents. I don't think Prue should be criticized for that, especially if her sisters weren't as passionate at times. She didn't want to be a "Power of One," she just didn't give up when her sisters had other priorities.

Definitely Prue. She was big sister, not just leader. And with her as big sister, Piper could be the heart of the family rather than its crappy leader and Phoebe could be the baby of the family rather than Freebie/PhoeME. I definitely would've preferred Charmed Paige-less.

If you are asking me who I like better (Paige or Prue) I would say Paige hands down! But I do believe that with Prue the "Power of 3" was stronger, and had more of a sense of closeness, family, etc. They definitely grew apart after the passing of Prue - which I think was eventually going to happen anyway, they couldn't be so tight knit forever and eventually had to start "living their lives" apart, but keeping the power of 3 in tact, and I think that was a struggle for all the sisters.

Not an easy choice here.

Prue was and will always be the big sister and not even Piper can subsitute her, though she's trying hard and with being a mother she can't. Paige was independent for a long time and strong in her own accord but with being a part of the Po3 she lost some of her spirits and tried to gain those back.

In the end, I think I won't choose, really. Since both have their advantages and disadvantages!

I prefer Paige's CHARACTER, which is I think what the question is actually posing.

I think she was fairer than Prue, more level-headed and an all-round better witch. She was also the more entertaining character in later seasons and her one-liners were hilarious.

I would say Prue since she was very well rounded and strong. I liked her attitude, she was serious but also knew when to have fun.

If it was a choice between S4 Paige and Prue, then I would’ve had a hard time making a decision. But if it was post S4 Paige, then Prue all the way.

I am so glad Paige came into the show though, I found Prue very hard to relate to as a character (I don't generally have friends that are like Prue). I related to Phoebe the whole series, and Paige the whole series. After season 3 I found Piper hard to relate to, even though I love them all.

Paige always. I would have been fine if Paige entered in S1 and been there the whole time

I would've preferred her as the third sister rather than Piper - but not if Paige was half-whitelighter. That so totally ruined the show, making having a whitelighter for a father more important than having a Warren for a mother - the thing that the show was all about. It's why I hope the oldest sister in the reboot isn't a half, but I'm going to bet that she is.

But I can't see Paige as a good leader, the way Piper wasn't. That's where Prue shined.

For me it's Prue. Somehow when I look at the show, it seams s4-8 was a sequel to the s1-3.

Prue for me dears. Prue shinned as the leading sister.

Although I'm a little surprised this poll is on the Paige board, it would make more sense to be placed in the general Charmed board. Since the opinion is on both characters, not just Paige.

Obviously whoever did the poll was hoping only Paige-fans would reply... These boards used to be open to only fans of that particular sister. That's no longer the case.

Prue, but that is because this topic is picking between Prue and Paige. Now if I'm picking on the second set of sisters, Paige will win that one.
