Season 1 - B
Season 2 - B
Season 3 - B
Season 4 - C
Season 5 - B

I don't like the scale but I will try my best. I will give reasons too.

Season 1-B It's still finding it's way. Some plots are a little to Buffy-ish in my opinion.

Season 2-A as Idiviual episodes, C as a whole season Dan and Jenny are some of the most annoying plot devices ever.

Season 3-A Truly the best season out of the whole show. The girl's personalities and performances were perfected this season.

Season 4-B Although the Evil Phoebe and Cole as the Source plot is flawed, I still find it enjoyable and dark, and I like dark.

Season 5-C Although this was honestly the weirdest season, some of the indviual episodes were good. Also I don't have much of a problem with Wyatt as a lot of people seem to have.

Season 6-F It's like morality was thrown right out the window. I hate Chris. I just hope baby Chris doesn't grow up to be like him.

Season 7-D The Charmed Ones are still as annoying as in season 6, but I can't give a proper rating because I haven't actually seen all of this season. Avatars sucked. Charisma Carpenter and Zankou saved this from an F.

Season 8-D Atleast they saved innocents a couple of times this season...

Season 1 - B - There is so much about this season I love. The first episode alone is enough to get this season a A

Season 2 - B - Soo many good episode in this season, but I find them all to be oddly disconnected for some reason. Two of my favorite episodes ever are in this season, "Mortality Bites" and "Chick Flick"

Season 3 - B - So much drama in this season, I really loved it - plus we see cole. I will make it a B+ just for Cole!

Season 4 - A - My absolute favorite season. It's soo GOOD. So dark, best acting in this season by far, from all of the sisters.

Season 5 - B - I still love season 5, I know everyone hates it for different reasons. This was one of the funniest seasons I thought - who cares if the writing was cheesy?

Season 6 - B - Still loved Charmed! I thought like season 5 this was really funny, and I still enjoy it.

Season 7 - B - Still loved season 7! A lot of good episodes were housed in this season, I love it to death.

Season 8 - D - This is my least favorite season of Charmed. I do like how modern the show becomes, but I hate Billie and even moreso, Christi. There are about 3-4 episodes I love in this season though. It is the only one I could say something negative about. It was good though, in it's own way - I know what they were going for, so it helps me understand.

ETA: In case you're curious, on that other site, Season 3 ended up with the highest score and Season 8 ended up with the lowest. Out of 12 people voting, Season 3 had 7 A's, while Season 8 had 10 F's.

Throwing out the ones that didn't follow these rules (TOP3, LA, Patmos, Quadquetra) by either using +/-'s or rating more than one season an A or more than one season an F or rating a season by more than one letter and including those who did (me, Astral Echo, Melissa, Fourever, Mike, Chaos) and changing Forbes' D to an F so that it would follow the rules, since he said that's his least-favorite season, and then giving 4 points for an A, 3 for a B, 2 for a C, 1 for a D and none for an F, here's how they rank:

1. Season Three with a 3.429, a B+
2. Seasons One, Two and Four tied with a 3.000, a B
5. Season Five with a 2.000, a C
6. Season Six with a 1.857, a C-
7. Season Seven with a 1.429, a D+
8. Season Eight with a 0.714, a D-

No doubt about it, after Season 3, the show definitely went downhill - B, C, C-, D+ and D-. For curiosity's sake, I averaged all the votes from the first four season and got a 3.42, then for the last four seasons and got a 1.5, meaning that "Charmed" was MUCH more popular with the voters than "The Perils of Poor, Poor Pitiful Piper" and "Charmed" should have ended after Season Four. Don't I wish!


If anyone who didn't follow the rules want to change their votes so that they do follow the rules, or if anyone else wants to post their votes following the rules, I'll do a new averaging.

Yup, not the easiest scale or perhaps the fairest one, but it gives proper credit to the voter's most-favorite and least-favorite, and if the voter doesn't have one, then they didn't feel strongly enough about them to truly vote.

I stopped grading 'cause I feel it goes against my religion, however I'm pretty sure S1 would be the "A" and S5 would be the "F". We'll see how everyone feels about S6, after the re-watch. I still don't feel it's this horrible season that some (not all) posters around here keep claiming that it is. Certainly better than S5.

Thank you! Your notes make sense. I also love Paige in S4, but that's not enough for me to forget my least-favorite storyline - the Cole-the-Source/PhoeME Queen of the Underworld. Paige saves that season from being my F.

I think there are some good episodes in the beginning like the Eyes That Have It and Sympathy for the Demon and A Witch In Time. I also dont even mind Centennial Charmed which many people dislike.

Right, there's still some (not all) S5 that are pretty good, but it's not all of them.

S5E6 "The Eyes Have it" is an exception and not the rule of the first half of S5 being very anti-Cole/worsening his character. S5E7 "Sympathy for the Demon" is a perfect example of this (at least, bullying Cole with the exception of Paige). And worse, bringing back Barbas and Rex's AP.

I don't care for S5E8 "Witch in Time", either. I was not interested in Miles nor the million premonitions about his death, along with more dragging Cole through the mud. This felt like a cheap imitation of S3E16 "Death Takes a Halliwell" but without an Angel of Death but still making it about the Angel of Death. They couldn't be bothered to get another one, like S6E16 "The Courtship of Wyatt's Father" did.

On top of that, it's just S8E22 "Forever Charmed", all over, again. Piper going back in time to save her sisters (yawn).

And, S5E12 "Centennial Charmed" is a wannabe S4E20 "Long Live the Queen" but not as good. Just more unnecessary time-travel nonsense, along with it being an anti-Cole/ruining the Cole character episode.

I can't stand those episodes!

The only exceptions, IMO are S5E1-2 "A Witch's Tail, Pt 1 & 2" and S5E3 "Happily Ever After" because of how promising it was...and then S5E4 "Siren Song" happened, and it only got worse and worse and never got better.

Cole should've NEVER been brought back to life! I will die on that hill!

There's quite a few episodes that I actually really like from S5. I know objectively that they're not that great, but I have a good time watching them and tbh that's what I'm here for.

A Witch's Tail 1&2 - loved both of these, really enjoyed Phoebe being a mermaid, I think it's quite fun tbh. Cole is ridiculous in these, but I don't hate it.
Happily Ever After - thoroughly enjoyed the concept of fairytales (admittedly this could have been done better).
Witches in Tights - loved this, I know it's silly and I know it isn't the greatest episode but I personally loved it and thought it was fun the sisters became superheroes.
Sympathy for the Demon - this is a great episode, Barbas makes everything a 10/10 for me.
Sam I Am - I enjoyed watching Paige learning more about her father, also watching Cole slowly descend into madness is interesting.
The Day the Magic Died - I literally cry when Wyatt is born idk what's wrong with me.
Cat House - I think it's fun Phoebe and Paige revisit old Charmed moments.
Sense and Sensibility - This is my all time favourite Charmed episode and I too will die on this hill
Oh My Goddess 1&2 - Chris is great, the idea is great, Piper is fantastic, 10/10 from me.

So yeah these are all the reasons why it's my fave! Mostly because I have a fun time watching the above episodes, I love Cole and my favourite episode lies within this season

I'm with you, as these episodes really aren't bad, and I don't mind Mermaid Phoebe, either. Unlike her Cinderella dress, the Mermaid outfit actually blended together, well. IDK what they were thinking with the Cinderella dress, though, but the dress doesn't break the episode, for me. As there's other factors, in the episode that are fun to watch like the Paige & Grams bonding time, in the kitchen, for example.

You know, I would like the episode, as well, if it wasn't for the bullying of Cole/anti-Cole/destruction of the Cole character, in the episode. I'll have to clip that part out, whenever I put together more Charmed clips, together. Just so busy, I haven't gotten the chance to properly make clips 😭

Well, this is just a fun episode, to begin with. Still, a handful of episodes doesn't make an entire season great. I may not like S5, but that doesn't mean EVERY episode is "bad". Like I said, there's still some (not all) episodes I do get a kick out of, this one being one of them.

IDK, I wasn't super thrilled about this episode. Seemed like a pitiful way to eliminate Kit, from the rest of the series.

Eh, IDK. It felt like a lot of sitting around and attempting to make some sort of a plan for nearly 2 hours, and all Piper had to do was create a hole...what was the point of the other two becoming Goddesses, when Piper did all of the work?

Don't get me wrong, again, I (too) have my enjoyable S5 episodes, those being the following:

• S5E1 "A Witch's Tail, Pt 1"
• S5E3 "Happily Ever After"
• S5E6 "The Eyes Have it"
• S5E15 "The Day That Magic Died"
• S5E20 "Sense & Sense Ability"

But, I like WAY more episodes in other seasons, unfortunately (for S5, anyway).

Like I said, S5 doesn't have too many enjoyable episodes to watch, outside of what I mentioned. But, you know, again, opinions.
