Remember, the spells they cast in the first 4 seasons weren’t evil, they were more just a misuse of their powers. The real evil was those cast with evil intent.
Piper threatening to blow people up at will in season 8 and turning reporters into rats. Though at this point piper didn’t care anymore. Not since “the seven year witch”
Phoebe and Paige getting rick killed by demons and not having any remorse about it. Phoebe turning Spencer Hicks into an animal every time he said something negative to her. Paige putting Nate in jail just because he wasn’t truthful and lied about his family. She should have just waited for the spell to wear off and confront him there and then.

Personally I found Piper stopped caring around Season 6 or "Oh My Goddess" and in Season 8 she's absolutely terrible! I also hated the way she talked to Billie in Prewitched. Like with Oh My goddess just her general attitude and breakdown at the end. Then in Season 6 we have her infamous scene where she acts whiny and dismissive in the kitchen toward Leo when he tries to show her proof Chris sent him to Valhalla as a definitive "not caring anymore" scene.
Otherwise though I completely agree with you. It's one thing to misuse their powers, after all what hero/heroine hasn't done so? Plus none of their attempts were harmful to others or they suffered some consequences for it. But then Season 5-8 not only did they not care, but they bordered on hurting mortals. (I also hated Piper's comment about blowing up the school teacher in Desperate Housewitches after they had vanquished the demon possessing her and the whiny half faced source)
I will say Paige did have a good reason to be mad at Nate, but I do think she could've handled the situation better.

I found Piper's willingness to buy fruit that had not been inspected by the Feds in order to be a cheapskate was up there on the list. Her greed set a lot in motion. Prue, Phoebe and Leo's willingness to use magical shortcuts to save Piper, when she should have paid the price for her actions is also up there. They have Dr. Williamson's blood on their hands and got away with it.
Phoebe and Paige's actions in "Hyde School Reunion" was an abomination to me, because they deliberately used magic to set up Rick Gittrigde to be murdered by demons.
Someone had claimed that if the intent of some of the Charmed Ones' actions wasn't evil, then their actions shouldn't be judged as such. This sounds like an excuse to me and I don't buy it. Like many have pointed out, the "road to hell is paved with good intentions". Regardless of whether a person's intention was good or not, that final action is still hell.

I'm surprised nobody brought up Piper turning magic school students into toads in Legend of Sleepy Halliwell simply because they looked at her weird, then threatened to do it to the rest of them. Or Phoebe and Paige making a man as a sex object for Piper in Prince Charmed. There's also Piper freezing a group of women in line behind her in Spin City. There's also Piper attacking the Jenkins Sisters for little reason.

I don't get all the hate for the Charmed Ones vs The Jenkins. Christy was nuts and evil. Nobody said anything about Tuatha. She was an evil witch but she got destroyed like a demon. Christy spent all her time in life missing, assumed dead, and in the "care" of demons. She was in every way evil and wanted to kill the Charmed Ones. Even if you count them fighting back it was self defence. If the Charmed Ones just sat there and were passive they'd have died a LONG time ago. The show was at its worst and best buggy. There are tons of plot holes and such. Morality has always been a grey area. Amy parent would want to kill their childs kidnapper. Most of the things they've done bad are really just moments of being selfish and using magick for personal gain. Which let's be honest yall would too. They're job is to vanquish evil and protect the innocent. Also she was a firestarter those always turn evil in the first place. Evil uses them there never has been a good firestarter to my knowledge. Also side note Prohectipn has to be the most op power in the show.

It's because of the Charmed Ones warped sense of morality during Season 8. When it came to Billie they just used her simply as a ctuch to get out of doing their own Charmed duties. Because not once is Billie tutored in areas that mattered. Despite being a witch for a short amount of time, she already had control of her telekinesis, could scry with GPS through a computer (which the sisters even admire better than their own) and is inept at potion making. Her only real flaw was going in recklessly. It also doesn't help with how back and forth about it they were.
When it came to Tuatha she could only be vanquished by the Chosen One with her own wand and the sisters never had such a self entitled persona about it. Then come to vanquish Billie and Christy and Piper in particular is the worst about it. The Jenkins sisters have gone through just as many hard times as the Charmed Ones. So the fact that said Charmed Ones (and Piper in particular) seem completely unable to sympathize with them and are ready to vanquish them in a blink of an eye is baffling. Piper is the one who's the most awful in this situation willing to spill blood the moment she finds out they are the Ultimate power without so much considering Billie was their friend.
The Halliwells don't even try to save Billie and Christy from the influence of the Triad. The moment they knew that they were the Ultimate Power, Piper was like "let's kill them". She didn't even try to consider any other option. Piper could've done a better job other than assaulting Christy and she was a huge jerk with her "BILLIE YOU GET BACK HERE" line because of her aggressive tone. Piper is also a huge hypocrite in The Thorn Identity when she said "It can't always be about what she wants" (referring to Christy) even though Piper and Phoebe are the queens of always wanting things their way.
Even in the exact same scene here Billie says "All you care about is finding Leo" with Piper going "that's not fair" so it isn't "fair" when its not your way? It's also a pretty jerk move for Phoebe to just act like them assaulting Christy was an inconvenience. They could've at least apologized, but nope! Not to mention Piper could've just froze her or Paige could've orbed her home.

Piper couldn't freeze her if she's a good witch and at that point she still was.

I'm going to name 2 things, from each sister, and I'm going to add Billie to this list, as well (just to keep the list fair). I'm (also) using the term "evil", lightly because it's not like they're going around murdering innocent people (and, no, people like Rick, don't count), but I digress.
1. Piper attempting to destroy San Francisco because Leo became an Elder. I understand you're upset, but there's no reason to take it out on San Francisco and abandoning your son, in the process. 2. Piper's verbal abuse towards Leo especially in S8. 3. Phoebe's mistreatment of Cole, during his time on S5. 4. Phoebe rejecting to save innocents. 5. Paige locking up Nate because she got mad, that she got played. 6. Paige's mistreatment of Richard, in denying him from using magic despite her being magical and doing magical things, herself. He's an asset, and it was an annoying way to rid of the Richard character, only to tarnish it. 7. Prue using her powers on Andy (particularly, when she stole the owl feather). 8. Prue not taking the Phoebe stance in rejecting Piper's relationship to Leo, when it could be potentially dangerous, in endangering the lives of other people. 9. Billie grooming a child into using their powers, for her own benefit. She used Wyatt's powers to essentially use them against his own mother. Talk about heartbreaking! 10. Billie being quite reckless and causing more problems than actually fixing them. It's great she's trying to stop evil, but she's a little reckless.
Honorable Mention: Piper playing a poor man's heart (Dan), for the sake of "normalcy". I couldn't let this one go. It NEEDS to be mentioned!
