WAS SEASON EIGHT AS GOOD AS THE OTHER SEASONS?

The first four were very good and what made the show great and special in my heart.

These seasons were pretty crappy. Firstly, I sorta liked season 5 while piper was pregnant. Then they introduced wyatt as the all powerful twice blessed child. Gah! Season 7 had some good arcs especially phoebe/drake, Kyra, and Zankou. 6 and 8 were terrible. Even though now that I'm watching season 8 i'm kinda getting attached to billy .

See, I'm the same as you Camille. I really loved the Zankou arc at the tail end of the season and also Cole had his small return which gave us some closure which I wish they had done instead of having Season Five with him, I'd rather have no Cole than crazy Cole.

But in Season Six, they're were some good standalones that I liked and seeing some diversity between Leo and Piper was interesting - much better than the little errand boy seasons that followed. As much as I hated Elder Leo, the relationship they had in that season was a lot more entertaining than that what followed. Season Six also had Chris Crossed, which did kick ass as a standalone episode - shame they cast Wooden Fuller as Chris.

i liked season eight. but felt that it was really rushed especially at the end.

i would of liked to see:
1. paiges wedding with her father their
2. rather them introduce dex i wished they could of introduce coop then we can see coop and phoebe's relationship grow
3. in the end finale episode henry at the manor with the whole family
4. phoebes full wedding
5. seeing pheobes pregancies
6. seeing paiges pregancies
7. seeing piper pregnant with her daughter

i just felt that at the end of season eight it was rushed
phoebes wedding/pregancies paiges pregancies and pipers preganices could of been anther season all together

but i still liked the eight season very much especially they fight at the end of the ultimate battle

See, Season Eight would of perfect had they're been no Bille, no Dex, no Coop. Henry, I would of liked had he been introduced earlier, perhaps he could of come in around the time Dex did and woo and almost chase after Paige who was too preoccupied with her duties as a whitelighter, following Leo's advice as to not ignore her charges calls (unlike the real series where he told her to ignore them).

And what if like the sisters, Zankou also escaped being vanquished? Then the big showdown at the end of the series was between them and Zankou and not bloody Billie and Christy. And they all die in the explosion bar Paige who panic orbs out of the house.

In what would of been Forever Charmed, Paige and Leo are grieving over the death of Piper and Phoebe while taking care of a Wyatt and Chris. Sandra appears to them, she tells them both that Piper and Phoebe would be returned to earth as they're glamoured selves if they both became whitelighters. However in order for that to happen both Paige and Leo (who is now human remember) would have to swap places with Piper and Phoebe and die instead, so they can both become full whitelighters.

They agree and Piper and Phoebe return as cousins Jennifer and Julie Bennett to care for Piper's children, Wyatt and Chris also now named Bennett. Paige occassionally reappears on Earth as her glamoured self, Joanne Bennett, espielly when spending time with her now husband Henry Mitchell (who can see the real her and not her glamoured self).

The Charmed circle is also broken with the death of Paige.

i agree with you on the no billie and dex. but would of liked coop to still be in the season and henry introduced earlier as well.
i like your theory of the whole zankou

but I dont like your idea after that and especially paige dying. that wouldnt of have been a very happy ending to a series that went for eight years. i liked the ending we had cause it shows that they all go what they wanted in the end which they had deserve after vanquishing demons for eight years of their life that they cant get back.

No i thought it was a very poor shot series.
I nearly stopped watcching but been a dedicated charmed fan i watched but when they changed the tune i the dvd from how soon is now? i was like that is not eve charmed without that.Billie in the series complete ruined it the bimbo and it was complete obvious that her and christy were the ultimely power and her calling pagie and not know about anything put me off the show. but that shows poor produciton on the series and that the people were not as interested in poratying it good so the other season were much better.

i was also really shocked that they had changed the opening music to something else. i was like what. they should of keep the original music song.

at first i liked billie but after seeing her betray the charmed ones i was like i hate her.would of been better if she wasnt in the show

I absolutely love Piper & Leo.

I wish Leo never became an Elder or an Avatar myself. I also liked him best when he was just the girls Whitelighter.

I just look at the situation slightly different from you Es.

i love season 3. season 8 has to be the worst one. i not a big fan of the way the magical community portrayed the girls as evil and selfish. i don't like cuz in a way they are right. i really don't want them to be lol. i love charmed and i don't want my nind currupt by what event happend in season 8. thats why it is my worst season.xxx

Agreed. It was clear that Billie was in the focus here, more like to see her in a Spin-off. For me, it didn't feel right.

Everyone is welcomed to their own opinion, but I haven't seen very many fans who would count Season Eight as their favorite. I sure wouldn't, although I liked it better than Season Six.

It seemed that they couldnt be bothered with it anymore.
Like its the last season anythink goes.
I would have liked prue to have been in the end episode.
Thats wishfull thinking on my part though lol.

Season 8 was definitely not the best season of Charmed by far. First off Billie and Christy... nuff said. Secondly, I really disliked "Forever Charmed" mainly because there was no Prue, Andy, Darryl, and Cole I mean everyone else was there but not those guys.. seriously! Also the Magical Community was really getting me angry, after all the times the girls saved them the moment Billie and Christy save them they completely betrayed them. All together, Season 8 was just really disappointing for me..

Season 8 could have been so good! Season 7 (particularly the end) was really great, I wish they had of continued in the same vein. It was worse than a lot of the other seasons, in my opinion.

I agree, season 7 was very good. Season 8 is where all hell broke loose
