Season 2 vs. Season 8?
Season 8, hands-down!
Season 2 was chalked full of bad writing, bad story ideas, and character stagnation.

im i think it was alright , definatley not better than the other seasons. But it was good. Gosh everyone hates billie and christy. i thought they were alright , they did sort of annoy me sometimes but you know. They did come in pretty weird to the charmed story.

Not everyone hates Billie - or Christy, for that matter. At one time, there were rumored to be 5 and 1/2 fans in the Billie fan club. (I was 1/2.) Now, there seem to be a lot more. Christy, on the other hand, was funny until she wasn't. She was funny when she slipped off the high heels, set fire to her chicken, etc. When Kern turned her into an evil, conniving witch, well, then, oops!
I don't even think there's a Jenny fan club! But, okay, whitelightertony, I'll accept that she is one of the lesser flaws in Season 2. Aunt Gail, anyone?

I used to dislike Christy & Billie with a passion, but after watching the season over again..........& getting to season 8. I actually liked S8. I'm still not fond of Billie being brainwashed by her sister, but over all, I don't dislike them. It's a good season.

I agree that they did not make the story about 3 sisters in season 8. A bunch of other crap was put into the story, and even though I really liked Henry and Coops characters they did seem to be rushed in there. They really needed another season at least to introduce them.
I only look at season 8 as a good one because of "Forever Charmed" I loved that episode because it was actually surrounded by their family, past, present, and future.

I really like Season 8. There are things i don't like about it, but as far as everything else goes, I like it.
However, I don't think it's better than Season 6 or 7.
I'm a big last 3 seasons fan.

No. It was good but not as good. I didn't like the whole Billy and Kristy thing. I really wished that they would of made at least two more seasons.

i liked s-8, but i agree that it seemed rushed to get to the end.
it would have been nice for them to get to the big fight with billie and christy, to win but then continue on with piper and leo raising wyatt and chris, seeing what happened with page,
and to watch phoebe and coop develope a relationship, have kids. it would have been neat to see piper's sons getting older
and fighting demons themselves, see them learning to fight demons. wish there would had been a s-9, s10.

I've only seen two episodes from Season 8 . . . and was unable to finish either due to the fact that I found them hard to watch.
I wasn't that crazy about Season 2, but I never had that problem with any of its episodes.

Im not sure how i feel about the whole billie christy thing.but i got used to them i guess piper sooo should have kicked billies asss big style.It was also a shame no pru in the last episode but what can you do.

oooooooooooo did I hate SEASON 8. At first I thought it was because of Billie. But after a while I realized that I sorta liked Billy. The thing that ruined the season for me was....Leo. His attitude about having a normal life was worse than Piper's. Firstly he tells Paige to IGNORE the calls for help from her charges instead of giving her advice on how to help them. Then he stops the witches from going to save a innocent. Being human, really changed him. Then it's also Piper's whiny attidute. And Phoebe's never ending quest to get her precious little daughter! Sooooo annoying. I think the season was saved by Paige. She was so caring towards her charges and her relationship with henry was so great even though very rushed . |

I enjoyed 15 episodes of Season Two. Compare that to Season Eight where I only liked four episodes, Vaya Con Leos, Jung and Restless, Engaged and Confused and Kill Billie Vol 2.
Plus Season Two had one of the best episodes of the series in Morality Bites.
Season Eight was one of the worst seasons, I might only consider Season Five worse but that season had great comedy so I tend to look past the naff storylines.

Season two was far better than season eight. Season eight was the worst season, with season five coming in at a VERY close second!

S8 would probably be the worst, this is my personal order: Season Three Season Four Season One Season Two Season Six Season Seven Season Five Season Eight Funny thing is, none of the second half of the series managed to get in the top four. I wonder why!? |

I wonder why!? lol It's the same for me. Only season four makes it into my Top Four, because season five (SuperBrat and Beyond!) is where it all started to go downhill. My lineup is: Season Four Season Three Season Two Season One Season Six/Season Seven Season Five Season Eight I always flip-flop with S7 and S6, because they were both pretty bad in their own ways. I hated Chris (another boy!) and the drab storylines in S6, but I also really hated the Avatar storyline and the crappy episodes in S7 and I haven't decided whether or not the Drake arc sets S7 above S6 for me or not yet. |
