Yeah, sorry for rambling but these questions suddenly popped up in my head as I thought more things over, especially in the last season.
As for the Avatar: Just downloaded this, yet I intend to change both Avatar and signature. It's time, I think. lol

Chrisaholic, at first, I actually didn't recognise that it was you who had posted. Shows how much I recognise users by their avatar and signature rather than by their username.
xD There's nothing wrong with rambling.
iamthesun, I think they did have a clip of adult Wyatt and Chris making a potion in the kitchen or something like that in the flashforward, if that's what you mean...

Even with an older Wyatt and Chris in the attic with the book and ready to take over from the sisters or something. ..... Yeah there wasn't a connection with all those other kids..we didn't know them. I did like how they showed the photos on the wall, going up the stairs. That was a really nice touch. The only thing is we didn't see exactly where Chris and Wyatt were making this potion. Either still in San Francisco or in any other town in the U.S. Yet the only portrait missing was the one of Prue.

Are you referring to the scene during Piper's commentary where we see Adult Chris and Wyatt making a potion and it blows up? Wasn't that in the Manor attic? I thought the camera zooms a bit out and you can see the back walls?

yeah it was in the attic. And I don't think they could use Prue's picture because of rights or something..Shannen Doherty didn't want it used.

I'd have to make a snapshot at this scene. It's been some time since I last watched it. There is a way to figure it out.

I may be the only one who who thinks that, but in my opinion, Season 8 was sooo much better than Season 6

I'm going to completely agree with Es here, on the time debate.
Charmed f***ed up. Pure and simple.
There is no way Wyatt should have suddenly not had powers in the future. Something that happens to you now, won't suddenly not happen to you for another 20 years, that's not how to time works. If I get run over today, I'll be dead. My future self won't exist.
What Charmed should have done is Wyatt and Chris coming back from the future to inform the sisters about what happened to Wyatt in the past and what Billie and Christy have been up to. But Wyatt would have had his powers, he wouldn't be powerless because moments later he would get his powers back in the past so he wouldn't suddenly not have his powers in the future.
If I lose my arm, my 42 year old self isn't suddenly going to an lose arm, he'd have lost that arm 20 years ago.

Assuming we have another version of ourselves in the future. There might not be, only here and now.

Assuming we have another version of ourselves in the future. There might not be, only here and now. In my opinion every decision we make sparks a different future, a different reality. But you can't go back into the past and cross realities as Wyatt and Chris did.

*nods* Exactly so. That's why I felt like if Wyatt came back before the sisters changed the future again, he should not have had any powers.
To me that's still just as stupd as showing the sisters writing their future into the BOS - if anything *that's* when we should've seen all three as old.

I don't think I would have wanted to see them as old. If anything they could have shown them writing their hopes for the future and just left it at that.

Yet we did see Piper and Leo as an old couple, so why not the others? Plus, it'd have made more sense if they wrote their entries at this age in the BoS.

It would yeah. I always thought that it made sense that Piper and Leo were shown older. Their relationship lasted the longest and I think it made them stronger. Plus they had kids first, so maybe the writers wanted to show how the'd grown up.

Prepare to throw rotten fruit at me, but I didn't mind Billie that much. For all of the talk about her being a "bimbo," she still cared about innocents, while the sisters were off dating and shopping using the identities they stole from complete strangers. And, Christy was 100% right about the sisters being awful selfish people who had lost their way.
Now, the idea that Billie "upstaged" the sisters is a legitimate complaint. She shouldn't have been more powerful than them, and she shouldn't have been shoehorned into the last season to launch a spinoff that ultimately wouldn't happen. However, on the other hand, Billie might not have upstaged the sisters so easily in the first place had they been better-written characters. When you make your leads so unlikeable, you can't help but root for the other side.
As for the season itself, it was definitely a step down from previous years. The writing was tired, most of the actors were bored, and the nuked budget made the show look distractingly cheap.
The latter half of the season, especially the finale, deserves special mention for horrible writing. Once it became clear that The Billie Show wasn't going to happen, they sped through the storyline, desperately trying to wrap it up as soon as possible, while also making sure that every sister is married and (eventually) pregnant by the end of the series. Someone else at another board nicely explained the problems with Christy's ending:
There might have been room for a proper conclusion in the finale had they not tried to shoehorn in every single non-Prue family member, both living and dead, with the worst time travel plot device ever. Did we really need to see all of these relatives again? Victor was okay, but I was beyond tired of Patty and Grams, and adult Wyatt and Chris were 100% pointless. And, the less said about that horrible, useless flash-forward, the better.

I agree that Billie wasn't that much of a bimbo, but the way Chris was Brad Kern's Gary Stu, Billie was his Mary Sue, when in the final season, the stars should've been the Charmed Ones, Charmed Ones we admired and loved, not ones who we pitied (and in my case, hated). Like fanfic characters whose creators use them to pretend that they are Halliwells, most Gary Stu/Mary Sue characters usually irritate everyone except for their creator There are exceptions, but not many. In this case, Billie irritated most fans because we knew she was being set up for her own spin-off, and she was the one starring in a season that truly should've starred the Charmed Ones.
I will always say that had Season Eight been used as the plot for Season Six, with Season Seven as the last season (with no mention of Big Chris or Big Wyatt), I wouldn't have minded Billie half as much.
