You know one of the things that really bugged me was how the media blamed Shannen's whole departure on the conflicts between her and Alyssa. Actually a lot of the media claimed that Shannen was jealous because she wasn't getting all the attention. Just the other day I saw a special on Shannen, which claimed that she didn't like that Alyssa was getting more attention so she quit. I find that ridicules! It's bad media like that, that give Shannen a bad name. Unfortunately many people based their opinion of Shannen from what the media tells them, not by her acting ability. I'm sure many people who claim to dislike her, only feel this why because the media has given her a bad name. That is true. The media made it seem it was the same reasons as to why Shannen left 90210, 7 years earlier!! They don't realize that the two departures for Shannen were completely different! |

Well, they used the fact that she was working for Spelling again as a big way to make things up of course. Spelling hired her once and she left. He hired her again, of course it HAS to be the same reason.

He hired her again, of course it HAS to be the same reason. *rolls eyes* Yeah, I know. I think if Connie Burge (Charmed creator) was still there, she would've made sure Shannen stayed. But since she also just left the show because of conflicts with Kern, that wasn't going to happen. IMO, Kern RUINED Charmed. With ALBL, Charmed had a really strong episode. And then we had leprechauns and all that other crap by season 5. |

Definitely! Constance did a great job when she's still involved with the show along with Shannen. Kern made Charmed crap!!
AHBL was really a cliffhanger, there are lot of missing parts and questions when season 4 opened up. Just to make out and patch up Prue's absence.
Well anyway I do have a question "Is Paige really part of Contance creation or was she just written in order to sub with Prue (no offense to Paige fans!!!) I'm just wondering? Or if Shannen hadn't left would there be a Paige? Just asking.
Well I wonder what's up with Constance now?

She based the series off her own life and herself and her two sisters (that's who she modeled the characters of Prue, Piper and Phoebe after). And if Shannen hadn't left the show, Paige would never have existed. |

That is true.Prue was a great person.That day when she left.And they had the funeral in that episode.I cryed for a long time.I felt like she was my sister.

And if Shannen hadn't left the show, Paige would never have existed. but wouldnt it made for an interesting line for her to come in at a later date? but then it wouldnt of been the p of 3 ok well anyhow.... just letting my imagination wander a bit... i think shannen did a fine job. i wonder some days where the show would of went had she stayed. anyhow............ the media makes up the stories. and if it wasnt a fight with alyssa it would of been a fight with some one else that they blamed it on. it's a shame she left and that she wasnt treated fairly. they could of made her character come back for ghostly appearances for cripe sakes............ now that would of been great... then we wouldnt felt so how do i wanna say this left out in the cold no closure maybe? |

That's exactly the point. If they had started saying that it was Holly and Shannen who had been fighting, maybe people would realize that the media's lying.

Yeah this is true people would not have belived that Holly and Shannen was fighting because they were best friends so they all beleved that it was Alyssa that was fighting with her i saw a vidio clip of Alyssa talking about this and she said that Shannen said that people was not serius about the work as much as she was and thats why she left Charmed.

For me it was KERN who decimated Charmed, I would've preferred Constance and Shannen to have stayed and Kern to have been given the boot.

Actually I wish Constance had stayed on through Season 4, and ended it there. Although I liked the Leo character, I still could have seen Leo losing his powers for good, and staying on the show (ala Patty and Victor) and then being mortal, having the same issues with Piper about raising his children as magical. I also think that Paige should have been introduced as the fourth sister, not as a Charmed One, but as their new whitelighter, watching over her older sisters. It was already set up to happen in the episode P3 H2O, with the introduction of Sam, and the girls knowing that he was in love with their mother. Sam knew who they were, and he would not have known that if he had never even met them before. Season 4 contained a few good episodes and we see the vanquishing of the Source, the original one, and the Cole one. The series should have ended with WITCH WAY NOW, with the sisters choosing a normal demon free life, that way all girls would have been released at the same time, and no rumours of on-set arguing between two of the co-stars. |
