I see what ya saying, but the show is magical, and although Coop was Cupid, he is real. Just magical, like Leo. Accept he is a whitelighter and later on an Elder and so forth.

But it does make you wonder if Coop perhabs retired as a Cupid later on. He was assigned 24/7 to Phoebe by the Elders in season 8.

That is always a good possibility. But we only can assume what happens to them since the show ended.

He was *a* cupid. Cupid was in S2. He was the God of Love himself; he didn't need a magical ring as Coop did--Cupid needed the ring to direct and amplify his powers which is why he used Phoebe as his ring. Coop needed the ring, the way Piper and Dumain were able to use it, so it was the ring that was magical, not Coop himself, unlike Cupid, who was the magical thing. I think Cupid would've made a better hubby for Phoebe than either Coop or Cole...with Cupid, Phoebe kept thinking about others, not just Phoebe. With Coop and Cole, the only one Phoebe loved was PhoeME.

Me, too. The same way I would've prefered the original Angel of Destiny to the new one. Not coz either actor/actress did a better job, but because those were the ones that we saw first and each time I saw a new one, I'd think, "This is why they took away Leo and Darryl??"
And you're right; the connection between Phoebe and Cupid was wonderful, as was Phoebe herself, unlike Phoebe with either Cole or Coop.

I agree. The Season 2 Cupid definitely had better chemistry with Phoebe than Cole or Coop. Actually, I've always thought that Pru and Cole had much better chemistry, and would have made a more interesting couple than Phoebe and Cole.

I am not so sure about this, I mean yes her premonitions were good for the character but having her lose her powers and then to continue growing as she did is what really made the character. Not her premonitions, in fact it would have nice to see her powers grow even further. The same with Piper and Paige their powers just stagnated and didn't grow much toward the end

Phoebe was definitely my favorite sister during the first 4 seasons. Even though in season 5 she began to be PhoeME or Freebie like some people began to refer to her. In 1-3 she was the young baby and she was the one who loved her craft the most. 4-8 she began to become someone we didn't love. She cared much less about the craft and all she wanted was perfect love. I really wanted hers and cole's relationship to end in a good way cause as some people say it was complex and interesting and I think if it ended in a good way we would all be happy. In seasons 5-8 Paige was my favorite character because she was the only one who cared about the craft and who also cared about innocents just like they did in seasons 1-3. Piper was the most annoying with her CONSTANT WHINING! and phoebe became sort-of self-centered in a way. That is why i miss Phoebe our baby from 1-3 and some of 4.

I'll agree with most of this except for this part:
Phoebe was *very* self-centered from the moment she had that d*mned visionquest. From there on in, all she cared about was finding the sperm donor for her daughter.
I didn't really see Phoebe our baby during S4, except maybe when she talked Grams into telling them about Paige. Then they tried to turn her into the middle sister, the way they tried to turn Piper into the older sister and it very simply did not work.
Phoebs was my favorite sister during the first season when she was discovering magic and was so excited about it. I didn't really see that much during S2, although I loved her with Cupid and Billy... Once Cole showed up she changed...horribly...the way Piper did once she got married. Halliwells in love is NOT a good thing! They should lose their powers as soon as they do because then all they think about is themselves, not the innocents they're supposed to protect. For one of Phoebe's final memories of her big sister to be her LYING to Prue about Cole shows you how horribly she'd regressed once she met Cole.
Fortunately Matthewses in love are different. Obviously Paige's parents did a better job raising her than Grams did the sisters.

Heres how I see Phoebe:
Everytime she cut/grew her hair, her personality worsened. If you look at Phoebe in Charmed and Dangerous and then look at her the following episode 3 Faces of Phoebe, its like she changed overnight as did her hair. My love for Phoebe ended at CaD. Then when she was cut her hair again in S6...she changed again, then when she let it grow out she became more selfish and worse.

WOW! I never thought of it that way before, but you're absolutely correct! Maybe Phoebe's goodness is tied to her hair, the way Samson's strength was tied to his!
Paige's is tied to her hair color. Paige the ditz had red hair. The lighter her hair, the ditzier she became. Paige the half-whitelighter who remembered innocents and who had graduated from college and was once a social worker was a brunette. That peroxide must've gone straight to her brain.
Piper's was her bangs. Once she cut her bangs, she became Miss Whinealot, worrying a lot more about her own life than that of others.
I still get a kick that as the sisters became more sexy and more beautiful on the outside, they became more hideous on the inside. That's reflected in the opening credits when suddenly sexy pictures are more important than showing them using their powers.

Maybe the writers meant for the fans to figure this out . Every single time the hair would change, so would the personality.

LOL, NOT!
You are giving Kern and his stable of crack-smoking monkey writers MUCH too much credit! He thought the sisters he had in S8 were the perfect heroines who deserved the happily ever after he crafted for them, just like Billie. Naturally, we know better.
