Phoebe went through so much in her relationships. She has had loss and found love. She is the strongest sister by being strong enough to be able to deal with all has go through over the years. She almost gave up on love.but was able find it again.I'm so glad she has found happiness and has found love.

The power issue with Phoebe will always be on my mind! Why couldn't they have ended this storyline with a definite answer! Did Phoebe finally get her Levitation and Empathy back? If they had added a line to Alyssa's narration saying "And in 200? I got all my powers back" it would have been resolved. Oversight!

Phoebe didn't care about her powers anymore, hence why it apparently wasn't too important in the future.

It's not that she doesn't care about her powers any more. It's that we are led to believe that they are less important in the future. No need to be an active empath. No need to levitate. Nor does she wish for an active power as she did in Careful What You Witch For.

What about the present? You're telling me that her premonition powers and empathy powers wouldn't have been incredibly useful determining that Billie and Christy were the ultimate battle to get Leo back? She did absolutely nothing during season 8 to advance the fight. In terms of demon fighting, her powers were completely negligible the entire season to the point of turning her into a moving target in the fight against the triad in Engaged and confused.

I see. Yet another reason why the Ultimate Battle was merely the final battle and not a truly spectacular or inevitable one.

Why is that? I see your point but what I don't see is how Phoebe's lack of interest in using her powers to help out Piper makes it NOT the ultimate battle.

Well, that's just yet another reason, albeit a minor one. Come to think of it. I don't think she used any premonition power during the penultimate battle, i.e., the one with Zankou. I'm going to have to think about that again.
P.S. How about this for a final battle? Resurrected once again, the Stillman Sisters, (The Power of Three Blondes) after grifting many a power, rise up to challenge the sisters in the ultimate battle. Will Billie add enough oomph to the Charmed Ones for them to succeed against those crazy blonde beatches!

At least Zankou stole the power and used it against them. We didn't even get to see that. Also, there were a lot of important premonitions in Charmageddon.

Yes, and Phoebe was so used to not using her power that she didn't even suspect it was missing, thereby allowing the sisters to fall into the vampire queen betrayal and lose another power. Such a waste!

I agree, tho I still like Phoebe(I'm shocked at that fact too) but less from the latest seasons. All I have to say is that I blame the Higher Powers up there for making Phoebe the way she is now. One thing the Charmed Ones should do before they retire from magic is to vanquish the Elders, or come up with a way to make them suffer. No,no,no She always ran away from responsibility and would freak out when the guy tries to "take over the relationship" and either run away fom them or go psychotic on them which is why the List of Exes in New York that they gave Morris when someone was Stalking them (later turned out to be Prue being stalked) hit the floor and rolled out the door when Prue opened it having a thing for the "bad Boys' and sublimially looking for the "impossible relationships' as a safety net is how she ended up with Rick in High School and Cole more recently...both which she justified killing after she was satisfied with the noh on the bedpost.

Phoebe was my favourite character at the beginning of the show. I loved her free spirit and her daring attitude, she was the sister who convinced her other sisters that being witches and these great powerful witches was a blessing. She has grown so much over the years, but i must say i was attracted to the humour she brought. Phoebe was all about Love, we saw the ups and downs of her love life and how she was strong enough to pull her self together at the toughest times. I just loved her caring nature.

Or, maybe Phoebe was forever searching for Love and always expected .......................... (fill in the blank) to provide her this on a platter. Yet, from Season 1 on, we were told that Phoebe was commitment phobic, that she had built up this seemingly impenetrable barrier to love out of fear that she would be abandoned. When she finally did open up, it was to a demon (Cole). Maybe Coop was the best thing that could have happened to her since his point was to get her to open her heart to love.
The problem with Phoebe resulted from the tendency of the writers to make this the only aspect of Phoebe worth describing. Gone was the curious, rebellious spirit of old. Instead, we got the whining Phoebe who felt betrayed by her power of premonition. Bad writers, bad!

Of course she was, Phoebe's character was all about love.. she wasn't made the Goddess of Love or Cupids lil helper for no reason, like Leo said himself she had faced the most darkest deepest love and still come back as strong as ever. This show has been a roller coaster for her because it has revolved around her love life and how at one moment she seems to gain it and the next she looses it just as fast.

Ugh, Heartbreak City... For some reason I liked Drazi, and the actor that played Cupid. But that episode's Phoebe can't love plot just never made any sense. (then again the give up on love plots pretty much never have, no matter how many times they repeat them...)
I mean if Phoebe had abandonment issues dating back to her parents "leaving", then how does that explain Clay? (A name that happened to be missing from Cupid's list of Phoebe's sutors).
It sure as heck sounded like that was a pretty serious long term relationship...
And then for her to consider getting back with him, when she realizes there was the risk of getting hurt again (for other reasons than him leaving). Something just doesn't add up if her heart was supposed have closed nearly her whole life because of abandonment issues...
