Piper was not always outgoing. I don't see her as mean but more as snarky and sarcastic. Life has been tough on her and all the crap she's been through changed her a bit, made her a bit more edgy. She was still a sweet and caring sister/ and friend though. That's how I saw Prue as well. |

Why not? She wasnt as emotionally strong as Prue but she was a better witch than Prue... I disagree. Both Prue and Piper were great as witches. Prue was more passionate about saving the innocents, while Piper didn't embrace it as much. |

Just try to imagine how Prue would have dealt with Paige. How many times did Paige try Piper's patience. My god, what would Prue have done with Demon Queen Phoebe or girls just want to have shells Phoebe or oh nevermind?!? Prue would have been like Piper, and Piper would have been like Paige. |

I think Prue would have cped actually... she was pretty good with things like that. I agree. Prue was great at coping with situations like that. |

If Piper would've died, Charmed would've died for me after season 3. In that respect, I understand when Prue fans say the show was not the same after she died. For me, Charmed without Piper, isn't Charmed or even worth watching. Actually, I never watched Charmed for just one character. I love Phoebe, Piper, and Prue EQUALLY. I loved their great sisterly relationship and very close bond. Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, and Shannen Doherty had AWESOME chemistry together, and really looked and acted like sisters. Charmed was not the same after Prue left. However, Charmed would not be the same for me if Piper or Phoebe left as well. I didn't watch for just one character. I watch for the beautiful and great sister bond and interaction between Piper, Prue, and Phoebe. I love the chemistry of the original Charmed Ones. The chemistry was never as good with Paige. I love the chemistry of Prue, Piper, and Phoebe. |

And I am not really fond of the first three seasons (feel they were too Prue-ish IMO) but watch them anyway's cuz of her. Actually, Seaon two was focused on Piper, Leo, and Dan's triangle, and Season three focused heavily on the Phoebe Cole romance. I don't see how that was "Prue-ish." |

She's okay. Piper is an interesting character. But I do get tired of others putting her on a pedestal. I agree. I love Piper, but it's like some fans really worship her, and hate on or bash Prue, Piper, or Paige.  I love Phoebe and Prue just as much as Piper, and I like Paige. They all brought something to the show. I loved watching the show because of the sisters, not just because of one character or one sister. The Charmed Ones are a team. The show would be boring if it was only about Piper, or only about Phoebe or Prue. I love the sisters as a group. |

I agree with loving the sisters as a group!
Though I must say....Piper/Holly (However you want to look at it) has a very big, bright, and gorgeous smile! I can't help but smile when she does! Lol.

I'm sorry to disagree but I don't think Piper should've. I don't think anybody should've did. Prue should've been alive and then the would've found Paige like Piper and Phoebe did.

Had it been Holly who left rather than Shannen? I doubt if the show would've lasted too long with Shannen, Alyssa and Rose, not with the way Shannen and Alyssa felt about each other. And if Holly left, I doubt if Shannen would've stayed or if Shannen would've tolerated Rose's shoddy acting for very long. But could Charmed have survived without Piper? Sure. The same way it could've survived without Phoebe. It would've been much different and still be about the sisters, not just about Piper and her family. Charmed without Piper is what Primrose and my Our Screwed-Up Destiny is all about. |

It definitely would survive, as long as two original Charmed Ones stay on the show, it definitely can survive with two original Charmed ones and one replacement. |

I disagree without the Piper the show wouldn't survive, because there would be no more Leo and Piper. There would be no twiced blessed child. Or Chris for that matter. Also the power thing wouldn't work because Paige would still have to be half whitlighter because they met Sam before Prue died.
