I realize that Piper had used Dan Gordon as rebound to get over break up from Leo around late S1/early S2. But I found it interesting that she was jealous of the date Dan was having with some woman at the restaurant she and Leo were at. Yea it's true that Piper was just using dan as a replacement. But that doesn't mean that she didn't grow actual feelings for him  |

She could've, but she didn't. Feelings of appreciation and friendship, maybe, but never of love. Not when she said that she always knew to whom her heart belonged. (Show Me a Sign) Had she not gotten upset at Leo for putting his duty as a whitelighter in front of her, she never would've given Dan a second look. She wanted someone who could give her what Leo couldn't--a normal life--and that was Dan--that was using him, horribly, but that--using guys--is what The Charmed Ones did best--she did the same thing with Greg the Fireman when she was angry at Leo for becoming an Elder. I couldn't help but feel sorry for both Dan and Greg. All of the other used slampieces in the series, too. (translations: ones whom the girls didn't love enough to tell their secret. For Piper that was Leo and Mark and no one else, the two guys who she truly loved and didn't use.)

I believe that Piper loved Dan . . . and more than just as a friend. Why else would she be upset at the sight of him having a dinner date with another woman? But she simply loved Leo more.
It's quite easy to see why she had feelings for Dan. To me, he seemed like a mortal version of Leo. I'm surprised that no one else had noticed this.

Piper is phenomenal, very earthy think thats why we can all relate to her, Paige and Phoebe have the sexual pull on men that Piper doesn't have but she shines al the more for that.
I have loved watching Piper grow up infront of us and evolve

It's been over a year since I said in this thread that Piper is my favorite.........and it's still true to this day. I just realized something today. Before watching Charmed for the first time in 2007..........I seen the name on Tv, but never read the info on it. I had a thing for not getting into new shows. I remember flipping the channels to see what was on.......I was about to change it to the next channel when I saw this woman reading a story to her son. I left it on.......I felt drawn into the show....making me want to listen.....to watch. It was the episode "Happily Ever After." Piper was the reason I started watching it that day. She just has this way about her making me wanna watch the episode. Even when she is yelling at Leo..........  |

I've always felt more connected to Piper out of all the sisters, she kinda is what I want for myself later in life. An angel of a partner and a loving mother that can still kick arse on occasion...
I know it's the basic of all dreams but isn't that what Piper was all about? Family?

when I first in 2008 started to watch this show it was with my cusin and she was watching ex libris at the beging and i saw Piper and Pure and then I saw soomething orb in the living room. To my surpise it was leo and then Pure left. At first I thought it was just this wack show about witches and how they fly around on broom sticks. And as I started watching it some more I saw a love connection between Piper and Leo. As I go though day to day I say that Pper/Holly M. Combs is the best and she is an idol I love how Holly pretarted that character that you can relate to in so many ways. Holly/Piper is a wife, a mom, club owner,eldest sister,and the best out there. She is what made that show get so many veiwers and still viewers to a show that ended almost 4 years ago.

hey everyone im am a loyal charmed fan and would like to ake some new friends like me i have all 8 seasons on dvd and the sign on the book of shadows tatooed on me also piper is my fav charmed one she is the best she has the greatest powers and shes a great mum to both the boys on the show and her own kids

I'm glad you feel that way.
Me, I loved Piper at the beginning. Up to "Oh, My Goddess", her and Leo's love story was my favorite plotline on the show, the inspiration for my first fanfic, "Charmed by Love".
But by the end I counted her as a crappy woman, a crappy witch, a crappy leader, a crappy sister, a crappy wife and a crappy mother. She turned into a bitter, mean woman who constantly felt sorry for herself and made me sick to my stomach!
That's why I count "Forever Charmed" as her delusion as she dies after the explosion in "Kill Billie Vol 2". No way such a crappy woman would get such a sugar-sweet ending that was so inconsistent with the rest of Charmed unless someon gave her a HUGE attitude adjustment and somehow I just don't see that happening.
Ditto for Leo. I can't see him happy as Piper's little errand boy for the rest of his life, stuck with teaching magical children who could walk all over him. I hope if Piper *did* survive, that eventually he would've grown a couple of balls and walked out on her, taking the boys with him. Like bitter old Phoebe who we saw during "The Three Faces of Phoebe", bitter old Piper deserves to be alone.

i love piper shes my one of my favorite charaters because she mad me think about thing different about some thing but thants not why i like her she a mom wife witch club owner and saves the world almost everyday and i wish somedays that i could have that life and somedays i just am happy sitting down and witch her on my tv

Looooove her I truly believe holly/piper carried the emotional weight of the show and was the heart and soul of the family from the very beginning. And to me Holly was the best actress on the show because of her range...she could be sarcastic and humorous one minute and with the blink of an eye showcase her amazing emotional depth...NOBODY could make you feel what they were feeling on this show better than Holly/Piper. You laugh with and you definitely cry with her.... that's why I love Piper. My absolute favorite character on the show as well as the central most important character IMO.
