Piper is the best! She's witty and smart. She also handled things well. I felt so bad for her and Leo.

Season 1: Can't have Leo because she doesn't know he's a whitelighter so he moves around
Season 2: Dan gets involved! Then she finds out whitelighter and witches can't be together
Season 3: They can't get married
Season 4: They can't have kids
Season 5: Leo becomes an elder
Season 6: No Leo and Piper!
Season 7: Leo the avator, who nearly gets taken away
Season 8: The A.O.D takes him away

That's why I loved "Forever Charmed" because we saw that Leo and Piper are able to stay together, forever.

Also, without Holly I don't think the show would of made it. No one else could play Piper besides her.

I agree. After season 4, Holly became more indispensable than ever.

Oh, yes Leo and Piper and with pretty big consequences.

They really had to endure a lot of crap didn't they? But, even if those seasons have a huge impact on their lives and it made it all the more difficult for them to be together, there were always great and happy moments for them in all:

Season 1: The first kiss, the first night, the first "I love you"
Season 2: The decision, to hell with Dan, to heaven with Leo
Season 3: Finally married
Season 4: Finally pregnant
Season 5: First son
Season 6: Second son
Season 7: Mortal Leo as they had been wanting for 7 years since they met
Season 8: Leo with her for good.

Piper's my favourite Charmed One, since the beginning. I just love her humour, her remarks and her powers. Through it all, she has just gotten better and better!

Piper is the main reason I watch Charmed all the time. She's the one that got me into the show. She is the best character she holds all the sister's together and she keep's the peace between the them. She's a wife, a clubowner, a mother, and ever since she had a baby she has the motherly glow around her and she's really beautiful and a great actress. She's the very best in television history. She has the same talent as Marg Helgenberger.

From whom? Certainly, Piper/Holly has received much credit and recognition from the fans of Charmed. She was fantastic in Season 1, Episode 1 all the way through Season 8, Episode 22. Only Piper could die in so many different and believable ways. (And poke fun at death.) Only Piper could deal with Cole in Seven Year Witch. ETC, ETC, ETC!

Now, if you are talking about the WB.... Well, they certainly did not respect anybody. Holly has said as much. Ultimately, which is more important? Assuming Holly has a decent enough contract with residual payments, I would argue that as long as the fans continue to support TNT by watching the older episodes, then Piper/Holly wins. The WB has been consigned to the dustbin of TV history. Piper will live on!

Yes. It's a shame that Holly doesn't get that much recognition. Sure she might be the greatset thing to us, but you have to take her popularity to a a much more wider audience (like the people who didn't watch Charmed).

Tsk, tsk. Season 8 was not a trainwreck. There were many fine episodes, many of which featured Piper prominently: Run Piper Run, Desperate Housewitches, Vaya Con Leos, Forever Charmed, etc.

Again, I ask from whom? The industry? Maybe. That remains to be seen. Will she be relegated to Lifetime movies? Will she return to network TV as a dramatic lead? That remains to be seen. Certainly, the fans appreciate and love her wide dramatic range.

I don't think 4 episodes out of 22 really make a great season especially to buy.

Etc. means etcetera. Piper was featured in a lot more than 4 episodes. These four were especially good episodes with Piper. I liked Season 8 really well through Vaya Con Leos. After that, I am less impressed simply because nearly every episode was devoted to a story arc I didn't particularly like because a) I really couldn't stand the Christy character; b) I really like Leo and c) it signified the fact that Charmed would end.

By the way, why has nobody commented on the introduction of the English line of whitelighter/witches? That was really a crazy strand to introduce and leave hanging.

True but eventually everything must end ( not to be depressing or anything) but that doesn't mean that I like the idea of Charmed ending, I don't.
