Why not? Some of us simply don't like her much and we don't want to go into Phoebe's thread to diss her and upset her fans. Also, we think that if someone has the qualities, experience and will to fight to become the mother of the next generation of good magic fighting for the world, it's Piper (with Leo of course).

Topic...what do you think of the fact that Piper will have to raise three children with different magical backgrounds: twice blessed wonder, half witch/whitelighter and a full on witch with no whitelighter in the mix?

Good point! Piper with four kids. That would pretty much cover all of the bases and allow me to avoid having to think about Chris and an Avatar hooking up in the future to produce god knows what. Works for me!

I realize that many fans seem to believe that Piper was born in 1973.

Yet, if that was true, her younger self would have been one year old, going on two in the Season 1 episode, "That 70s Show". Also, I have discovered two episodes that seem to verify Piper's birth year as 1972.

1) "Coyote Piper" - in that episode, Piper had attended her high school reunion. According to that episode, she had graduated from Baker High in 1990, which meant she was probably 17 going on 18 when she graduated.

2) "Thank You For Not Morphing" - in this episode, Victor verifies that Piper is three years older than Phoebe. And we all know that Phoebe was born in 1975, which would lead one to believe that Piper was born in 1972.

In the family tree, Piper's date of birth is March 1973. She could've skipped a grade to graduate early.

Maybe, but in Once Upon a Time it Phoebe says Piper is a Gemini and being born in March wouldn't make you a Gemini.

Piper skipped a grade? Piper Halliwell? I can see Prue skipping a grade . . . but Piper? Is it possible that the family tree might be wrong, considering that Victor had established back in Season 1 that Piper was three years older than Phoebe?

In Pardon my Past, it's revealed that Piper was born August 1973, which would tie in to Prue stating that when she was 3 Piper was 1. Because we all know Prue was born in 1970.
