Why is everyone picking on Paige. Yes, she was born a whitelighter/witch. The sisters were born witches. There babies Wyatt and Chris was born just like Paige was. Half whitelighter/witch. No one says anything about them. Why just Paige?

No one says anything about them. Why just Paige? Dunno why they do that, but it seems like everyone forgets something, neither Piper or Phoebe are actually "full born witches". They are "halfbreed" (Piper's word for Paige) them selves and actually less magical than Paige is. Lets talk genetics about Piper and Phoebe: Their mother (Patty) was a witch, there they get the witch part from. Their father (Victor) is an innocent, there they get their innocent part from. Witch + Innocent = Half witch/innocent = 50% magical beings Now if Victor has been a witch, THEN Piper and Phoebe would had been 100% witches. Paige is actually a step further than Piper & Phoebe is, since both her parents (Sam & Patty) are magical beings: Witch & Whitelighter. This makes Paige a full magical being: Witch + Whitelighter = Half witch/whiteligher = 100% magical being.

It's amazing that CHARMED managed to look down its nose at BEWITCHED in the episode, "Lost and Bound" . . . yet, it still adapted that nonsense from BEWITCHED about one being born as a witch. Amazing. And I don't mean it in a good way.

good point.....
but i think piper's "halfbreed" comments were more directed a paiges whitelighter abilities, rather than her witch abilities. but i dont know how "whitelighter" genes can be passed down. being a whitelighter is not genetic...its not in your DNA so how can it be inherrited?

Who said being a Whitelighter is not in the genes ? In "Fantasy World", everything is possible, even Whitelighter Genes. In Fantasy World there is even something called Midi-chlorians that can make you a powerful good Jedi Knight or turn you evil if you choose the dark side of the force. Fantasy World even allows time travel at 88 mph if you have a Flux Capacitor installed in your car and you can travel thrue subspace to the distant Pegasus Galaxy and visit Atlantis. You properly can see where I'm going. Theres a lot of things we have learned that is a fact that its not possible at all, but as soon the big Hollywood companies turns on their cameras and yell "action", then it all becomes possible, even something called Whitelighter Genes that can be passed on to a child.

In real life, that probably can't happen. There is things that happens in big motion picture movies they I can't see happening in real life, but it's a movie. Just like Charmed. Anything is possible.

I'd like your opinion on something. In the second half of Oh, My Goddess, when Leo is explaining the reasoning behind which goddess each sister became he says the following to Paige about becoming the goddess of war.
Do you think this is an accurate characterization of Paige to that point (end of S5) or was that basically something the writers pulled out of their rears because they needed Leo to say something to her?

Why is Victor being categorized as an "Innocent"? Because he wasn't magical? What does that have to do with being an innocent? How is it that this show managed to insult BEWITCHED and the Samantha Stevens character in "Lost and Bound", and yet adapt that stupid theory from the older series that witches are born?

just one more point because of the topic if whitlighter genes are possible... if it wouldn't be possible to pass them down, chris and wyatt wouldn't be able to orb- and they also wouldn't be half-whitelighters

Usually you have to die to be able to get Whitelighter powers, but Whitelighter's also wasn't allowed to marry witches or even fall in love.
For all we know, that could be one of the reasons why they didn't allow it to begin with. But since one Whitelighter did marry a witch, we soon found out you don't have to die to become a Whitelighter.

I know I'm changing the subject here, but I want to know what everyone thinks of Paige and Henry. I think they are sweet together and I was surprised when Henry wasn't scared of Paige's magic powers. That is pretty rare I think. Does anyone else think they are cute together?

I'm glad she had luck in finding the perfect guy. The producers did a good job with making him be able to handle magic.
