Isn't that what witches are supposed to do? Basically help people with emotional, spiritual or other personal problems? Why would Paige need to assume whitelighter duties to do this?

LOL. But it's still all deal with Criminals & the same area as cops. Well yeah, but he is not allowed to carry a gun, thats what the real cops are there for. He is more like a social worker with a badge, a specialist in dealing with petty criminals. Not the kind of guy you would send after a perolee who has a past of being armed.

Well, your right about that, but it's still in the same area. not every aspect is the same, but it still deals with the law & criminals & dealing with them.

its kinda funny how they do that though, because Paige used to be a rebel and be a bad kid. so its funny she would end up with someone from the law when she used to kinda BREAK the law lol.

That was her teen years, all that changed rapidly when she lost her adoptive parents. As you know, she always thought that she was responsible for their death. A thing like that sure changes a person completely.

just one more point because of the topic if whitlighter genes are possible... if it wouldn't be possible to pass them down, chris and wyatt wouldn't be able to orb- and they also wouldn't be half-whitelighters And you sincerely think I think they should be half-whitelighter?? They should also just be witches with whitelighter powers. Inherit Leo's powers, sure, I can see that. If a dead man can sire a child, why not be able to pass down his powers? But actually count as a whitelighter with charges like they pulled on Paige?? That was SOOO ridiculous! But I agree Henry and Paige was a fantastic love story--the ONLY part of S8 that I liked--even if it was MUCH too rushed! I wish she had met him rather than Brody in S7 so they would've had a chance to actually get to know each other and truly fall in love before they got married. It was so rushed it felt more like just a rebound off of Brody and onto Henry, not true love. Now I'll go and contradict myself. What proved how much she truly loved Henry the way she didn't love any other character on the show, except maybe her parents, is the part I loved best of S8--the fact that she wasn't able to love enough to heal until she met Henry. She couldn't heal Brody; she couldn't heal her half-sisters. She didn't love her half-sisters any more than they loved her (not that I blamed her; I couldn't love those two b*tches either), the reason Piper kept talking about finding and saving Phoebe during "Forever Charmed", never Paige. Paige was always on the outside looking in.

I know I hated that about Forever Charmed. When Piper saw Phoebe dead she rushed towards her and it was not until she heard something that she remembered Paige. I hated that! Paige was her half sister and she had been living with them for a while now, give me a break! Piper never let Paige felt like completely family, I hate that about her!

I don't think it was anything to do with that i think it was just that she saw Phoebe first so she was grieving for her i mean i would too if i saw my brother dead.

I don't think it was anything to do with that i think it was just that she saw Phoebe first so she was grieving for her i mean i would too if i saw my brother dead. Very true. But when Piper was on her time-travel journey, she never once mentioned Paige. It was always, "I have to go save Phoebe", never "I have to go save Phoebe and Paige." I wanted to kick her each time she said that--I felt so bad for Paige that Piper loved her that little. And if it's because Paige took Prue's spot in the Power of Three, that was EXTRAORDINARILY bad on Piper's part to take out Prue's death on Paige, especially after this long, because it meant she was only keeping Paige around for her powers, not because she was Paige. That made PLENTY of sense during the first season after Prue was gone--it's what I would've done, too. But not after four years!

I recall in a rerun that Piper seemed very upset over Phoebe leaving the house. How did she feel when Paige finally left, following her marriage to Henry?

I'm guessing not as strongly emotional as when Phoebe moved out. A little recall on the 2nd last episode Kill Billie: Vol. 2 Where was Paige after the manor had been blown up and why did she not scream Paige's name in an attempt to see if she was alive, after discovering that Phoebe was dead ? Nope, she sat there holding Phoebe's dead body in her arms in silence.

but when she went to the future she said, "i have to save phoebe and paige." plus, what about that time paige was killed and piper was death? or the time paige got stabbed by phoebe on accident? piper was really teared up and upset. i think she does care about paige, it's just that you have to realize that she still is getting used to a fourth sister, and she doesnt know paige as much as phoebe.

I like Paige way better than Prue. I first started really watching the show when Paige was on there. She brings a funny aspect to the show, which it needed. It was too serious when Prue was on there. Sometimes she does jump the gun as a witch but she is a natural as a whitelighter.

i do like Paige a little better, but the show WAS still funny when Prue was on. Paige has a different style of comedy. she's more sarcastic and spazzy, which makes it funny.

I really like Paige now. I too needed time to adjust to her and get used to her after Prue died. She really had big shoes to fill. But I believe that she has done that now, and even has some of her big sister's traits (Prue's). I know what you mean. Charmed Again was such an awkward episode.

I don't know about spazzy, but I do believe that Prue could be equally sarcastic. But Piper still remained the most sarcastic of the four sisters.

well yeah but like holly said on the dvd, rose was quirky and added something different to the show. she said rose was a little awkward. i didnt mean like accident prone, i just meant she could be a little spazzy in character.
