The more I think about Paige's "telekinesis" ability, the more I'm convinced that she was a teleporter. Even as a whitelighter, Leo had normal telekinesis. And half-whitelighter Chris also had normal telekinesis. I think that Paige was a teleporter. Not only could she teleport herself, but other people and objects, as well.

It's actually kinda weird that she does that and Chris and Leo had normal telekinesis. I think you're right about Paige being a teleporter ljones. What bothers me is that she had all those things that were typically Paige, but the writers did something in one ep and would never talk about it again. e.g. the lolly. This one lasted for a couple of episodes, but all of a sudden no one talked about it anymore and Paige has never seen with one since then. Her voice. She sang in one episode. Why didn't they do more with that? I would have loved to hear her sing more. Her talent for drawing. They mentioned it twice. Why didn't they do more with that? I mean there could have been more demons that she had to draw like in the muse episode. Or just show something of it. Show the viewers that Paige is unique and has her own hobbies.

That's really annoying. She is given something and the writeres never go any deeper then what was given.
Rose can sing. So why they never went any deeper than what was it, 2 or 3 eppies, I'll never understand. Also, the drawing, it could have been a way for Paige to chill out a little after demon fighting.

i think that they should have kept up with Paige's other life. She has an awesome voice (ok, it's rose who has the awesome voice!) and her drawing skills could have come in handy when trying to identify a demon or like Rebecca Matthews said, a way to chill out after demon fighting. It used to be that the sisters (including seasons 2 and 3) would chill out at P3 after demon fighting. Then Phoebe had her advice column, Piper had P3 and her family, but they didn't really give Paige anything.
As for Paige being written as her own character, I agree to an extent. I have felt often that there are similarities between her and Prue. Subtle ones, but definately there. She became passionate about her destiny, much like Prue had. She quit her job to focus on it, like Prue had for a while. She had a version of Prue's power... telekinesis...teleport is a good description and I think she has that since she is part whitelighter. And as for Chris having normal TK, maybe it is because he inherited that from Piper/Leo line versus Paige inheriting from Patty/Sam. Anyways, I think Paige did do a great job of filling some very big shoes and did become her own person. She was very likable and made us laugh alot. I will miss her.

Me too prue, she really made me laugh sometimes and I'll miss her. And like you, I've felt that she is a little bit like Prue. But they are (half)sisters, so that's only natural I think. Paige has her own way of doing things and had a life before she met her sisters and the things out of that life were never really brought into Charmed. The writers should have done that, because I think that would have given us some interesting story lines.

I suppose that to have focused more on Paige would have meant less Leo and Piper. Paige is one of my favorite characters and I've always found the back and forth between Phoebe and Paige illuminating and fascinating. I really like Paige butting in with Dex in Desperate Housewitches. The tussle between Paige and Phoebe was fun, exciting and entirely believable. Paige had many fine moments. For me, the two most powerful are Centennial Charmed and Something Wicca. We could go on: saving Magic School, tutoring Billie, saving Chris, her leprechaun buddies. All Paige, all fantastic!
P.S. Could someone please explain the difference between telekinesis and teleportation? Could you also give an example of each as it relates to Paige's powers? It might help us better appreciate both Paige and the comments above.

In the beginning, I was a very huge fan of Paige, and this was due in part of Paige being labeled the "new" sister. I've always been fascinated with new characters who replace other original characters on established shows because of how fun it was to see the "new" character adapt to the original cast, especially on Charmed where a major character was replaced, and to some, the "main" character of Charmed. I'm glad that she transitioned well on Charmed though. I'm happy with the way Paige was portrayed in the beginning. Not only did she add a new aura to the show, but Paige also enhanced and brought out the many different sides of the original characters as well, which in a whole made Charmed less boring after 3 seasons, but entertaining. But, as seasons progressed, the character development for Paige felt rushed and there wasn't a strong enough foundation for the situations she was put in, from her different careers to even the husband she married, to even care about what would happen to Paige. I was also not very happy with the Paige montage in the last episode. I was not as excited with where she ended up, as I was with Piper and Phoebes story. Anyway, I still love Charmed!
P.S- On a more positive note, Paige is a better whitelighter than witch. I feel her powers are made more for caring for people than fighting with demons. I wish she could've ended up with a hospitality career though, rather than being a full time whitelighter.

i preferred prue to paige, but they where both excedingly good characters. Paige as many of you have said, have the perfect personalities to be a white-lighter. She was a amazing character and as it sbeen said on other threads, without paige the series wouldn't have gon for as long.

I think their talking about Prue's telekinesis vs. Paige's Telekinetic-Orbing. << That's 'teleporting'.
I hate how writers say one thing and completely forget about it. Developing her singing and artistic drawing talent would have been a fun thing to watch. Even a little singing in the shower, or singing to the kids more would have been fun.

Hell it would have been nice to have seen Paige sing at Piper's club. I remember Paige singing to baby Wyatt in Sense and Sense Ability, and that's about it.

Uh, she also sang a cover of Peggy Lee's "The Fever" at the end of Sense and Sense Ability. Then, again, there's her performance in Charmed Noir! I wish they had put her complete rendition of The Fever on the final Charmed CD instead of the crap they left us with. Paige's voice is barely discernible above the noise.
Unfortunately, this performance was at the piano bar, not at P3. Billy Zane sang at P3.

I love paige and I love how Rose has portrayed over the years. Paige is a great witch and she is a good whitelighter. But in both roles she still has/had so much to learn. I wonder if anyone knows for sure if Rose actually sang on the last soundtrack? I thought I heard her voice on a song. I don't have the soundtrack so if anyone knows send me a message.

Yes, it's there, barely! What a poor choice for a song "featuring" Rose! I would have loved to have the Fever on that soundtrack!

I think that Paige was fantastic to fill in the role after Prue. Key reason: she didnt act like a Prue wannabe, she was her own character, and grew into the show very nicely. The way they wrote her into season 4 was fantastic and very believable. They didnt shove her down our throats. But then she got mad at the fact that she wanted to be like Prue and couldnt, that was slighty annoying bacause sometimes she just couldnt accept that Prue was doin her bit as a witch for longer and therefore was bound to be more experienced than Paige actually was. I love Paige but that was, as said, annoying.

No she was upset that Prue was this super witch and she was pushing herself to be as good if not better than Prue, it took Piper to accept her that Paige would be part of the family to realise she should just be herself.
Shame the writers lost that after season 4/5 there was so much more they could've done with her character but lost the opportunities.

Paige is by far in my eyes the most powerful of the sisters.....well as far as "powers' go. She has a vast amount of magical ability; orbing, telekenetic orbing, glamouring, and is a Charmed One and half whitelighter, what more to ask for, I can say that she has grown into herself over the past few years and I feel was a very good addition to the Halliwell family.

I confess. If it's not already apparent in my novelistic attempts, I am a Paige fan. As the youngest (half)sister, Paige brought a quirky vibrancy into the Charmed Ones. Her tentativeness in Season 4 gave way to a witch on the move in Season 5. The more appropriate hair color (red) helped immensely (of course). I am a PAIGE-HEAD!
