Whitelighters dont get taught do they? They have to teach themselves. Paige is a good whitelighter, I think that it was fab that she managed to heal Henry in Season8. Very emotional for her.

Not exactly taught, but they like give advice to other less experienced White-Lighters to help them become experienced!

I'm beginning to suspect that the writers have no idea of what angels are really about. Or what whitelighters are supposed to be. No wonder many fans - including myself - are confused.

It would be so cool to have a copy of a whitelighter manual! (If ever there was one!)

Well, we could construct our own and send a copy to Mikelle, the wannabe whitelighter who healed Paige in Season 8's The Jung and the Restless. Start with Blinded by the Whitelighter (Season 3), add in a dash of Sam I Am (Season 5), blend in a few of Leo's words of wisdom from throughout the series and voila: a Whitelighter Manual.

Kwl Idea, but it would take a lonnnng time and we wouldn't have all the facts, 'cause they can't talk about all of it on the show! Like the Whitelighter language, how would you write clicks down?

Yeah, but you could fill in the gaps with creative thinking. I mean: imagine you were Natalie (from Blinded by the Whitelighter) and were completely obsessed by rules. What would you include, given the general responsibilities and capabilities of whitelighters?

Is Paige a Christian or a Wiccan? Given that Christians disapprove of witchcraft in all its forms, she can't truthfully be a Christian.

Paige never struck me as someone who was particularly religious one way or the other, even before she became a Charmed One.

I think the character of Paige is so caring and kind and theres a reason she was the sister that was the one to be half white lighter (other than the fact that she was a half sister and she was the daughter of a witch and white lighter.) It could have been any one of the sisters but it was Paige. Shes so sweet and you never would believe that she is the same Paige as in 'A Paige form the past'

She was raised in a 'Children on God' commune in Florence, Italy. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but hope it helps with the Wiccan or Christian thing. Anyone have any other information?

If you're talking about the character, Paige, she seemed to have started to ebrace the Wiccan religion, as far as it pertained to witches. This is demonstrated in the episode "The night the magic died" as they are discussing the wiccan sabath or holiday on which Piper winds up giving birth to Wyatt. There are probably other episodes where this comes out subletly, but from what I've read, in real life, the show was under some pressure not to press too hard on the whole Wiccan religion thing. Thanks to hundreds of years of bad PR by the Catholic church, wiccan has become synonomous with devil worship, which it is most definitely not. I think the show went a long way to promoting the whole poisitive side of wicca and being good witches, from the very first episode, but I think they didn't want to turn the show into a mouthpiece for the wiccan community or religion. It was just an aspect of who they were protraying and was purposely played down to keep the sponsors (you know, those people who pay for the commercial time, making all shows like this possible) from getting too nervous. So, long as the show was about three hot sisters who kick butt (evil or otherwise), that was OK. They don't want the audience turning off the show because of religious reasons. Some people will do that anyway, but they are not the target audience to begin with. So, I think they were just being sensitive to this real world issue for them and played down the wiccan connection for all three sisters.

Paige is a great character on the show. She is soooo funny! And one thing I love about Paige is she wasnt so excited about be coming a witch and thought it was freaky, and now look at her. She loves being a witch so much she quit her job to become a "Full Time Witch" Im proud of how far Paige has come in the show. One more thing, she always cared for her charges, and did everything she could for them, what a great whitelighter she is. Now thats a good role model example for her big sisters
