Ugh. OMG yes. And she was just evil and vindictive. No personality of her own. They just used her as someone for Rex to talk off of, for the audience. She was useless and added absolutely nothing to the story. She always felt like she was just there as someone for Rex to talk too. Rex was the brains and if you take out Hannah nothing is lost. It's just too bad Hannah wasn't killed in Wicca Envy, with Rex remaining for the rest of the season and perhaps teaming up with Inspector Rodriguez instead. Maybe you can omit Hannah, and have Rodrigeuz being his partner all season working undercover, but we don't know this until near the end of the season. Well, I wasn't all that nuts on Rodriguez - he was a pretty dumb demon - now if JEREMY and Rex had been working together with Jeremy invading Piper's life while Rex invaded Prue's or Phoebe's...now that could've been a LOT of fun, especially since Jeremy the warlock was much more demonic than Rodriguez. They and Cole (with Cole as a warlock who doesn't turn good) would've made a helluva Rowe Covenant who could've battled the Charmed Ones the entire series. The series killed off two great villains much too soon in Season One.

I didn't even consider Jeremy as a possibility, but that works way better than using Rodriguez. Now Jeremy invading Piper's life would work way better if the audience doesn't know he's evil until much later. I guess this means no Piper and Leo. Wow, Rex, Jeremy and Cole what a great Rowe Covenant that would be. You're really great at coming up with something fun.

Oh, yes. I wouldn't want the audience to realize that these three guys are both brothers and part of a long line of evil warlocks whose destiny is to stop the Charmed Ones until at least the second season - the longer you hold that off the better! Use other lesser warlocks to tell the stories you need to tell in Season One - save these three guys as the ones who pretend to be friends...but aren't.
I wouldn't let the audience find out until the sisters do...but would give the audience clues to make them wonder - especially if the clues are just about one of them and not all three.
Now if the reboot wanted to be different and in my opinion better than Classic Charmed, that's what they'd do with their three sisters and their significant others...

All sounds great and like a fun way to explore them on the show. Wouldn't that be fun to see on the reboot? But I have this feeling they want demons to be a big part of the show. I don't recall hearing anything about a warlock in this reboot. But it is still too early to tell Es what this series will be about until we see the pilot or see more of what the direction is going to be.

*sigh* Unfortunately I think you're right, especially since I still think the reboot will be more of a reboot of S4-8 when it was demons, demons and more demons than S1-2 when it was more warlocks and a lot more about the sisters.

I just hope they make it perfectly clear what kind of show they want to tell, and not drift off like Classic Charmed did. At least I'll know what show I'm signing up for from the get-go.

Rex was a good villain because he used his inelegance and cleverness. Instead of brute force. While Hannah just seamed to be a typical boss everybody hated. I think Cole's character was improved upon Rex. Cole got to sisters in a way no demon ever did. If you throw out the romance part. Cole was truly savage!
